5-Star Review for Paratha Box, Bradford I had the pleasure of visiting Paratha Box in Bradford last Sunday with my sister, and I can confidently say it was an experience worth every moment! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere, with subtle yet homely decor that created a lovely family-friendly vibe. What stood out immediately was the authenticity of the food, freshly prepared right in front of us by skilled Asian women—so we knew we were in for a real treat. We ordered the paratha with halwa and channay, along with achaari onions and mint chutney as sides. We also tried the cheesy omelette paratha roll, and everything exceeded expectations. The paratha was perfectly crispy, just the way it should be. The halwa was silky smooth, not overly sweet, and balanced beautifully with the medium-spiced channay curry. The achaari onions and mint chutney added the perfect finishing touch to the meal. The cheesy omelette paratha roll was another highlight—generously filled, with a satisfying cheese pull and expertly spiced omelette that tied all the flavors together. To top it all off, we enjoyed a karak chai, which was perfectly balanced—not too heavy on sugar or spices, making it the ideal end to our meal. The service was absolutely faultless, with friendly and attentive staff making sure we had everything we needed. Seating was comfortable, though the space can get quite busy—which is no surprise given how exceptional the food is! Overall, Paratha Box is a hidden gem, and I already find myself craving another visit. If you’re looking for authentic, freshly made desi food in Bradford, this place is a must-visit. 100% worth the trip!

Chana paratha with the boiled egg, semolina dessert, potato stuffed paratha, everything was delicious and chicken corn soup was outclassed.

I had keema paratha. Its delicious breakfast is a flavouful and enjoyable and delicious breakfast is just what you want for a good start to the day.

Mona was very wellcoming and kind. She offered a few items which were really nice. The chicken paratha was very flavourful and fresh. The tea was fantastic. Ambience really attractive.

Paratha box is the place to be AMAZING customer service always get a WARM WELCOME from the lads that work here very helpfull and the place is very clean and tidy. Was highly recommended this place for breakfast, but before I could place my order, I needed a strong cup of chai tea. unfortunately they do not offer sugar free chai tea here, and the one they do have is ridiculously sweet, like a tea syrup! So I went somewhere else for breakfast. Place otherwise looked quiet, clean and tidy.

My first time at this lovely place. The service was brilliant, the parathas were lovely & fresh. They tasted homemade & the portion was very generous. My only complaint is that both the aloo paratha & the keema paratha had whole masalas in it, I would have definitely preferred ground masala to be used in the parathas, especially when kids are eating them too. I will try mentioning this masala issue when I order next time to see if this is something they can accommodate👍🏻

Complimentary Hot Desi Chai offered as we waited for our table. Ordered the plain paratha with chickpea curry, aloo paratha with sujhi halwa, also had fries. Everything was fresh, hot & tasty. The Achaar tasted like home Achaar…very authentic…would DEFINITELY recommend you come try their food. Atmosphere was also very friendly & staff were also very polite.

We came for breakfast, had plain parathas, keema paratha and Chana dhal. I would recommend all the chais, flavours are good and not generic like chai wala. Would highly recommend this place.

Lovely food & amazing atmosphere

Parathas are lovely freshly made and a good size. Omlette, channey and aloo paratha all delicious. There isnt enough seating and the place gets busy quickly. There is a toilet for customers which needs to be kept cleaner.

Following positive online reviews, I decided to treat my parents to breakfast this morning. Upon arrival, however, we received no greeting from staff and had to determine our seating independently. Our assigned table was unclean. After waiting, we approached the counter to request menus. Our order took 30 minutes to arrive, and the customer service was the poorest I have encountered in Bradford. While the food quality was satisfactory, the subpar service detracted significantly from the dining experience. Increased staffing at the front of house is crucial to improve customer satisfaction.

Amazing food ma sha Allah as always. My family came from London and we took them here for desi breakfast and they couldn’t stop praising how tasty everything was. Thank you once again.

Food was amazing order 2 times in a week

They advertised on their Facebook Festive Offer 50% off from 23rd Dec Mon to Friday. We confirmed this over the phone first and we were told its from 9 am to 9pm. When we went pratha box we were told that the offer is only for certain timings each day. Like today if was till 4pm. We the whole family travelled so far and then the staff refused for the discount. It was so disappointing.

First time visiting Paratha box not being local to Bradford we didn't know what to expect.Food was excellent and freshly made exceeded our expectations.The atmosphere was so relaxed and inviting,the owner and the lady at the till serving made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to accommodate us .We would HIGHLY recommend and would visit again when in Bradford .The owner was very warm and hospitable.

This is the 3rd time I have came to this place with family and their toilet is still out of order.

We tried Pratha Box for first time yesterday and it was brilliant. They have an open kitchen so you can see your food being prepared and it was a very clean place. The food quality was very good and so was the desi tea. We ordered a Pratha and Aloo Pratha with Chick Pea and it was very tasty and would highly recommend. The staff were helpful with the menu and provided great service. If you fancy a Pratha this is a good place.

worst communication… useless behaviour of the guy who was on front friday morning… yes.. I waited infront of till atleast 5 to 7 minutes and the gus knew as well but still he ignored and kept doing other things ….I ordered food on Call when I came To collect my food, the guy said someone else collect your food… I was waiting outside the shop and I knew nobody collect any Prata from inside actually the guy was forgot to put order on system or something else and he started lying when I asked where is my food …yes food is delicious but guy behaviour and the way he ignored coustmer was worst

First time trying and I must say I’m actually shocked at how over hyped this place is. I got soup and I’m a soup lover but this soup wasn’t good at all it tasted like a can of beans nothing like chicken n sweetcorn soup. Paratha was okay but the chana was so flavourless it left a funny taste in the mouth like it had been burnt. Kebab and rice wasnt too bad if you added the chilli sauce cos without it was tasteless too. I was actually looking forward to paratha box, definitely won’t be ordering again.

My weekend spot!! Best desi food in the town!!! Halwa reminds me of my mother always.. and also the aloo poratha.. My husband loved the chickpea curry. It tastes exactly like Pakistani chickpea curry. The ambience was really asthetic with NFAK qawwalis And the staff was so welcoming ❤️

Had a plain and aloo paratha’s which were nice however the desi chai tasted like it was full of condensed milk very sweet and made me feel sickly.

The food is delicious and authentic, the environment feels like a little slice of South Asia, and the music creates a perfect backdrop for an enjoyable meal. Also the staff is very cooperative. Whether you’re a fan of Indian and Pakistani cuisine or just looking to try something new, this spot is a winner.

I ordered over the phone for pick up and it was soo quick! Can't fault the food MashaAllah. The chicken noodles were fresh tasted amazing and the portion size for the price was very good! Also tried the fresh lemonade and mango lassi. May Allah place more barakah in your business. Please open a branch in Manchester :)

I went with family on the 1 October 2024 all the hype about the paratha pizza and it was disappointing the paratha was greasey and the toppings were all slipping away due to the grease and the toppings were tasteless. My son had the noodles and they were no better tasteless is this what people are eating these days throwing good money away for this. The restaurant may seem nice if you can find a parking slot in the tiny car park that shared buy other shops or find somewhere on the street and that's not going to be easy either.

I feel like it's a fancy way to make a simple thing: when a friend told me about this place I was excited because it's the only one (even among Indian restaurants) that actually make the Aloo paratha and so, seeing the name "paratha box" I expected like a set of (maybe 3-4, 4-5 mini parathas, as done in a traditional home) for around 6-7£. Instead, as per the menu, you get 1 large paratha (with potato here&there) thin and oily which, even though delicious, we agreed it's definitely not worth 6£. However, I think I got more angry that the discount offer available at the restaurant was only applied to the dine-in items I took and not the takeaway. Therefore 3* because: it doesn't resemble much the authentic paratha, discount advertised is applied selectively and overpriced for the consistency/amount offered. We got 1 Aloo paratha and pizza paratha for dine-in and 2 Aloo parathas for takeaway, paying 12(discount from 15£)&12£

So after a Uber eats order the meal was all cold. Taste -1 horrendously terrible Quality 3 Phranta so reasonable size but still cold Chai. +10 would definitely want this again The skin on the Cholay/chickpea curry was terrible. Clearly a microwaved product. Thumbs down. Just no!

First time coming to Bradford, asked the vape shop across the road for a breakfast recommendation. I was not disappointed! What a treat! I went for the chicken tikka paratha wrap with cheese! Polished the lot off! Friendly helpful staff, excellent service, hot a very fresh food. I will be back!

This has to be one of the best desi breakfast place. Everything was spot on! Fresh, tasty and so flavourful… we ordered an omelet paratha roll, aaloo paratha, paratha with channa and anda and a nutella and marshmallow paratha and 4 desi chais. No complaints, will definitely visit again and recommend it to friends and family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ps- the pickle with “paratha with channa and anda” is the tastiest pickle you could find in the UK.

I’ve been to the Parathabox in Glasgow (both of them) many times and I am delighted that the one in Bradford is also of the same high standards. The kebab Paratha is exceptional! Well done to all involved.

Excellent service, food was delicious, owner came up to table to check if everything was ok and if we needed anything else, he brought us soup to try on the house, highly recommend place, for the food and service.

Food took about 20 min. Paratha could use a little less oil but overall good experience.

The chicken tikka parantha was delicious and mince and allo parantha was out of this world (must recommend) . The girl ……Arsh….was really very friendly and provide the order within 10 minutes with alot of filling of allo and mince as well. We didn’t even wait for our order .She made such a tasty and crispy food for us . Wonderfull place 😊

Parathas were so stiffed not chewable & potato mix was not smooth n very less i m buying from this place since its opening day but from last 4 orders wether u pick or takeaway quality has dropped if owner is not involved in business he must look into it as its ruining today’s order waz a rubbish no one couldn’t eat

I ordered for collection, the order wasn’t received and so when I went to collect it had only just gone through. However, the lady who served me was amazing, friendly and apologetic, and gave me a freebie. The food was delicious and although we got a take away today we’ll definitely visit again and eat-in, it looked lovely.
