Amazing experience. Great teacher, loved learning how to learn sushi

My compliments to staff as they kept being friendly and managed to get it to work while being understaffed for the amount of people and tables they had to service. Their rice lager was a nice surprise, but quite pricey, however I was completely disappointed by their food offering. The band had little to almost no difference in sushi's which were very stingy on the filling, especially the seafood ones and the rice of the katsu chicken I ordered was still soaking wet. Highly unlikely I would return here.

I'm sorry I do not quite remwbr their names but you have a young lady with glasses and a younger gentleman on your staff and they are just amazing. Always so kind and welcoming. The food is always so good, only negative I would say if any is the chef sometimes skimpy on the avocado from time to time it's never a consistent quantity.

By far worse yo sushi in the UK...Well we have been too,waiters in there own world when trying too place order repeated myself 4 times ,she wasn't paying attention, the manager I guess the baldy guy ignorant idiot got his head up hiss bum.... no1 too help with orders rude and ignorant...try the others if you want too try yo sushi.left after paying for prawn crackers cancelled the rest

We came for the sushi masterclass and had Nico teach us who was super knowledgeable and a great teacher! It was a lovely experience and we made tasty sushi!

Went to sushi school in Speke Liverpool. Great evening learning about sushi. Really fun and the tutor/chef was lovely and knowledgeable.

As ever with Yo! Sushi the food is exactly what you'd expect. Fresh and tasty if this is your thing. The Korean chicken bowl was superb. Nigiri is great. Maki rolls are great etc Prices have gone through the roof though. Some of the regular sushi bowls are £8.50 each so they soon mount up. We had a selection of bowls a coke and a beer and it was 78 quid for me and my daughter. Not cheap. Service was great. Guy was very helpful. No real atmosphere to the place. You make of it what you bring to it.

Service abysmal. Had the cheek with whack on a £5 service charge after having to sit through thunder face service.

After you wander around and as they say, shop till you drop, eating at one of the restaurants on site seems a great idea. Might as well be at one of the other ones but Yo! is unfortunately a total waste of time and money - cold old sushi, stale food, all so bad! At least the presentation and the service for the table service were good. Do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else.

What the hell have they done with the ordering system. Not only have they removed the lights on the belt, they have now just gone and removed ordering online to the table. So now now only do you have to wait for someone to come to the table (which is never) whenever you want to order something off the menu or drinks. I went when it wasn't busy, can't imagine when it is you'll be waiting forever to order anything. It's ridiculous why they got rid of it. Food was nice as always but won't be returning.

Forgotten how much we love this place! Lovely food, bit of a treat and warm welcome from the staff.

Ordered the spicy squid. It was absolutely revolting. Clearly frozen, it was soggy and not properly battered/breaded. Tasted like salty fermented fish.

Went to yo sushi in Speke for our tea tonight and the food was amazing as always! They appeared to be short staffed but the servers somehow had smiles on their faces, shout out to Niko who served us she was so lovely and attentive despite being rushed off her feet! See you again soon!

We have dined here on lots of difference occasions over the years, my kids love it, when I saw they do sushi school I just had to book, James was brilliant with the kids and adults, very informative, the sushi school is great value for money as you take home so much food, we will definitely be booking again, thank you

We attended sushi school for our daughter's 12th birthday with a group of friends, some with additional needs. James and Oli were amazing with the children. Very patient and delivered the lesson in an age appropriate way. The children all absolutely loved it. Any children who were unsure about ingredients were offered alternatives and thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended birthday activity! Perfect for pre teens!

Had our daughters 12th birthday party here, doing one of their "sushi-school" sessions. All the children absolutely loved it, entertaining, interesting and as tasty as ever. Fantastic service from head chef James. Highly recommend! ❤️

Great food. Great service. Great experience.

Used to be better when it didn’t have the belt with the food on. Clearly makes the servers work harder, you have to wait longer to pay because they are run off their feet. Couldn’t tell what much was on the belt so ended up having to order off the menu anyways then the servers have another job of bringing the food to you rather than how it used to just come to you on the belt and stop in front of you. Definitely preferred this.

4th time visiting and once again was fantastic , wonderful polite service, food was delicious, I highly recommend the chicken gyozas and cherry doughchi. Prompt service, table and surrounding area was very clean. Yo speke is a go to for me now

Hot food not hot enough, sushi and sashimi food not enough cold and didn’t looks fresh. Maybe because our dining time nearly close of the day

The sushi is not bad, but too pricey. Ramen is bad, tastes like instant noodles and costs 12 pounds.

This new Yo! Is a great new addition to Speke retail park. Staff are very friendly, the place looks very clean and the food is great! To top it off the little one loved her bento box, but might need some practice with her chopsticks!

Manger rude. Was waiting outside with dog and popped in to get food and she barked at me to get out. Good cold and portions far too small for price. Had better experience at other restaurants so this venue is definitely letting the brand down
