Pave Howarth in Bradford

Gets rave reviews but not for my 2x takeaway bacon and mushroom on baguette So easy to cook but obviously not my order bacon well overcooked and the mushrooms tasted like tinned now upon writing this I know they will go defensive but no excuse people go to these quaint little places and have superb dishes but nothing something so basic as a bacon baguette I could have returned to complain but my beautiful Labrador enjoyed it 😉

Lovely food, friendly service. Perhaps the odd moment of forgetting cutlery and plates that felt a bit disjointed. But overall a lovely experience.

Called in in a cold wet November day and had one of the best lunches ever. Great choice of fine wines to complement the charcuterie and cheese boards, or you can opt for a simple but nevertheless very tasty baguette, including the Christmas specials. Or you could try the small tapas/ casserole plates ( highly recommended order two for a light lunch, three if you need something more substantial ) or savour the delights of French onion soup and for the cheese lovers there is a Raclette Grill. It’s Menus offer a great range of freshly prepared foods, so don’t expect fast food experience, waiting times are very reasonable given the relaxed and warm atmosphere in the dining area . an Pave also has an excellent range of coffees and teas which is also a must . Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff can advise on food options if you are in any doubt or just need clarity on anything including allergens which are all fully catered for. Totally loved the experience and definitely on our ‘must do again list’

Super meal as always. Great atmosphere. Just sorry to have to be hurried at the last moment with the bill as we only had 2 hours for our meal. After 2 bottles of wine we would have liked just a little longer. I know it says this is the policy when booking, it just seems a shame but it seems to be the way it is these days.

Excellent food at good prices. Dishes are tapas style and I would recommend 2 dishes for a normal appetite. I had the French Onion Soup and the chicken casserole. My wife had the Cassoulet. Leave room for a dessert.

Relaxed dining, the restaurant specialises in small plates and sharing platters of cold meat and cheese - so you can try lots of things. Staff were lovely, service fantastic.

I have just arrived home ( a few miles outside of Hebden Bridge) after a first-class meal at Pave in Haworth. We had 4 'tapas' style dishes (between two of us), which were better that any other tapas I have eaten in Spain or elsewhere. The music went well with the food and, for once, it wasn't too loud, unlike many places, where you cannot have a conversation. I would highly recommend this bistro. Why fly to Europe when you can eat European food in Haworth?

Wow wow wow…. We had a cake of cheese supplied by Pave and boy did they deliver. Myself and my partner are from a combination of the north and south of england so it was important for us to have cheeses that we not only loved but that also represented a bit of us. Pave guided us with their excellent knowledge to help us make the perfect selection. We went for a Wookey Hole Cave Aged Cheddar, Smoked Red Fox Red Leicester, Yorkshire Blue and Cornish Yarg. All were absolutely delicious. All of our guests were absolutely blown away and all said it made a nice change from the usual boring sponge cake and too much icing. If you’re looking for something a little different (and even more reason if you’re a cheese lover!) then this is for you. You will not be disappointed!

I had my doubts because of the tourist spot it’s in. However, the menu was interesting with something for all palates and tastes. The escargots were a welcome surprise, the raclette excellent and the Brie brûlée very special. Not a great choice for drinks, but adequate. The service was quick and friendly and I’ll definitely return on my next visit.

A little gem !!! Unexpected find as to be honest Haworth was wet and cold and mostly shut ! Could not have been made to feel more welcome . French onion soup delicious as was the coffee and we left with a takeaway box of cheese for the journey home

Enjoyed a superb meal tonight. The atmosphere was really good with the pianist. The choice of food was exceptional. The service was first class and the food arrived promptly. The quality of the food was great. My wife had a good vegetarian choice and said it was some of the best she has ever had. My choices of pate and chorizo etc. was so tasty. Highly recommend a visit.

We popped in for lunch and it was perfect for a rainy Monday in April. Warm and friendly with a menu which felt authentic. The French onion soup looked delicious and I nearly had the spiced lentil soup but changed last minute to Brie baguette. Craft beer too. Very friendly waitress. We had been recommended to come here as our friends had visited the week before we came for a short break to Haworth. We were not disappointed. Popped in for lunch when we first arrived and had a delicious French onion soup. We also managed to book a table for the Saturday evening. We were given a lovely little table at the front of the restaurant and we felt that we were in a little French bistro. We had some lovely tapas but also ordered the racklette which neither of us had tried before and it was fabulous. Great selection of wines too.

Booked this ad hoc on visit to mother in law who lives here. They had previously had coffee here but never dinner. So glad we made the choice! Fabulously flavourful food and in a sharing style which adds to conviviality. You can tell the ingredients they use are top notch and authentic also. Chorizo second to none and frankly, squeezing huge bulbs of freshly roasted garlic into a baked camembert was heaven. The in laws enjoyed both soups- best French Onion ever tasted apparently. Also, the wine wad apparently great quality (I don't drink but the others lapped up 2 bottles of the Chianti!) Service was very friendly, down to earth and efficient and there is a nice, cozy unpretentious vibe. We were very impressed and think you may have some new regulars! Thank you.

My wife and I visited this brilliant restaurant last night and had beautiful food... The service was impeccable and the ambience warm and inviting... I can totally recommend eating here as the quality is outstanding...

We were sat at the best table in town with a view straight down the famous High Street. Staff were lovely and friendly. We went for a mix of small plate tapas and all were very tasty. Oave also does a range of excellent wine. Some are quite expensive but all can be bought by the glass and the ones we had were gorgeous. We must return for more including the meats and cheeses.

My boyfriend and I came in for a spontaneous spot of lunch on Saturday after reading some fantastic reviews. The food was amazing, we shared tapas style dishes, along with a cheeseboard and lovely wine. Most of the staff were lovely, especially Holly as we had a friendly argument about which way was the correct spelling! On a more negative note, another staff member (didn't get the name) but she had orange/red hair and wore a black shirt was quite rude and abrupt with us, and took plates off us without asking, and as we were still eating. The rest of our experience was amazing and we will definitely be back next time we are in Haworth!

A splendidly different menu comprising mainly cheese and meats meaning it took us a while to make a selection as everything was so tempting, service was first class. Our only disappointment is that as we were staying for a few days in Haworth its a long way to go back!

Fabulous food. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great atmosphere. We loved dining in the cellar and the attentive service. We particularly appreciated the tapas serving size so we could chose a variety and share. The charcuterie board with several dishes on the side was delicious - please try the paprika mini roast potatoes, you won’t be disappointed.

Stopped off for some lunch after a walk around the lovely little village. We had French onion soup which was a little bland if honest and unfortunately I found two hairs in mine. We also shared the Camembert which again didn’t have much flavour to it. Positive sides was that the presentation was excellent. Also find it odd they have high chairs but don’t supply a kids meal. Service was fantastic though, so thank you.

So glad we found this trendy little place. I have to admit we were not looking forward to eating here. To my surprise it was superb. The food, atmosphere and staff were brilliant. My wife and I both agreed that it was the best meal out in a long time. The owner came out of his way to chat to us. Will we return again, absolutely and won’t leave it too long.

After passing Pave on numerous occasions, and always wanting to try it out, I finally made it last Friday January 26. The place is super! We had a table in the cellar downstairs and ordered a beautiful cheese board, some wonderful tapas dishes and of course some accompanying wines! We were served by Clarice and Liv. Thank you for making our night so wonderful. Our experience from the second we walked in the door until we left was amazing. We were so impressed that we were texting our friends and booking our next visits before we left. Staff, food, ambience, price and service are all 5 star. An absolute must for those who love great food and wine with a touch of the Parisian dining feel.

We ventured out to Haworth for the first time for a festive evening. The weather came in sideways so we seeked shelter here at Pave.... OMG what a gem we stumbled on. The concept of cheese, meats and wine in such a cute setting is genius. The staff were very welcoming, we were lucky to get a table as they were so busy. We are definitely coming back! They made our trip what was almost a wash out truly worth it!

If you've never been to Pavè then you're missing out on the loveliest wee charcuterie restaurant, cafe & deli takeaway. Welcoming staff, warm atmosphere, delicious food & attentive staff. They even lent us a ceramic dish to bake the camenber cheese we bought! We love it so much we've popped in 3 days in a row 😋

What a cosy little restaurant hidden behind the shop front. Dishes are served tapas style with lots of choice and meat and cheese boards that you can build yourself which is appealing. The mini casserole dishes are flavourful and authentic and would highly recommend. The staff were friendly, efficient and very welcoming to us and our little dog.
