Wouldn't go back here if it was the last Chinese open ever, 2 hours for delivery then when it come order was short on food, so when we did ring up to complain yes it will only be ten minutes......an hour later it turned up food tastes like water if I could give zero stars that would stll be to high

No show... 1hr quoted, no food turned up. The address had been delivered to previously. When we tried to call the phone has clearly been taken off the hook!! Terrible service. Never use this take away on a busy fri/sat night if you actually want food!

Ordered last night.told 45 minute wait. 1hr 50 minutes the food arrived. My wife had given up and went to bed..told driver I wasn't accepting the order as it was way too late .Was contacted by shop asking why order had been turned away. Excuse was they were busy. Nothing offered to make amends...Avoid...no customer service

Tried the Peeking house chinese takeaway sneakyeat Whitehaven tonight for the first time. This place doesnt look much from the outside perhaps even a wee bit scruffy and certainly put a few people off including myself but thought I would give it a try but what a Lovely takeaway and great value for money at £17 including delivery. I ordered a Quater duck pancakes came with spring onions and cucumber with a plumb sauce so tasty and tender not fatty at all and enough for four. It's pretty hard to make a plate of Chinese food look good but very tasty and not fatty or greasy at all. 2 mains red Thai curry ,chips and chicken chow mein both delicious I have recently visited a Thai restraurants in Ambleside and windermere and this was probably better only criticism and just a personal preference was an authentic Thai curry shouldn't have pineapple in but seriously tasty. Def be ordrering again the best takeaway Chinese I have had for a long time fresh tasty and great value for money.
