Pepe's in Cheltenham

Food was fast, from ordering to colecting my Double texan extreme hot was waiting under 10minutes. Food was all nice fresh, hot and spicy aa i like it. Will be back at some point. My first visit.

rice box was lovely juicy and Delicious i really loved it thanks to Kishore brother he deal us very nicely and food came time and it was warm and superb hats off to peri peri

I recently dined at pepe pepe piri piri and it was exceptional from start to finish! The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening out or a celebration. The staff was attentive without being overbearing and made us feel truly valued. As for the food, everything was fresh, beautifully plated, and absolutely delicious. Overall, an outstanding experience that’s well worth a visit. I’ll definitely be returning soon.

I always tell them to put cutlery in the bag and they always forget it’s been 3 times I have been there and they keep on doing the same mistake

Waste of time and money. A friend of mine ordered some food for us recently and what we received was laughable. His chicken wrap was miniscule and my pita with chicken was the saddest looking sandwich ever. They put a sliver of chicken breast in it and some chopped iceberg lettuce. That's it. All yours for over seven quid. Portions of chips were tiny and one drink was missing too. Luckily Deliveroo refunded us the money. Avoid.

Well if it arrived i could let you know!!! But no delivery and an answering machine... £33 out of pocket and going to sleep on a empty stomach!

I am they're regular costumer waiting for the food for more then 1hour then see the delivery driver chating with his wife no even try found the adress whoever i call the store they try lie me adress was not down even put the phone down very disappointed food was very very cold

Ordered about 12am. It claimed it would take 1 hour and 10 minutes for delivery which is incredibly slow given their proximity. Waited up for it but food never arrived.

AVOID!!! Travelled from Sheffield to Cheltenham to buy a car and thought I'd go to the trusted Pepe's for some food. COULD NOT BE MORE OUTRAGED!!!! Served by a dead soul. The chap didn't talk, didn't smile, and had 0 emotion. That wouldn't matter if the food was any good. TERRIBLE. After waiting 25 minutes for a XL Meal and half chicken, it came, with the chicken hot and the burger and fries mild to warm in temperature. That's not the worst part. No joke, bare in mind I'm STARVING - there was literally half a fillet in the burger. Half of the burger, was just bread, the rest was the fillet. I showed the chap, and he said its how the fillets come. Disgusting behaviour! My friend had the chicken, said that was just grilled chicken with sauce on top. COULD NOT BE MORE DISAPPOINTED HAVING BEEN SO HUNGRY! HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE FOOD, HORRIBLE PLACE. AVOIDDDD

They sell chicken and rice, but had no rice for 1 hour???? Very poor from a large company that should know to cook rice.... This was dinner time of 6pm.....

Been ordering from pepes for years and it still reigns champion as not only the best peri place in Cheltenham but the best takeaway full stop. Healthy delicious food at a great price, no reason to not keep coming back. The guys in there are great also, always willing to help with customisations (I always like everything extra saucy)

Food is really good, but they have become stingy with the portions, specially on the chichen&rice boxes, even if you pay for extra chicken they do not add a decent quantity of chiccken in it

Worst customer service I have ever seen in my life no joke. Worker that served me and my mate looked like he wasn’t even taught how to serve customers correctly and was extremely miserable. Food on the other hand was terrible too, chicken felt brittle and old felt like it had been few days old definitely wasn’t fresh, I am writing this review the day after and I cannot get off the toilet as this place have given me food poisoning.

Called the restaurant a couple of times, they didn't answer, and when i got there and place order they took my first order, and they refused my second order. When i told them that i was trying to get in touch with them, the guys who took order nooded and laughed on my face, and i explained and shown him that the number in google is wrong and he didn't even cared for no acknowledgement no appreciation or basically didnt give a damm about it gave me a side eye.

Took ages to arrive, had to ring the restaurant twice. Not it has arrived, I’ve been delivered a small and yet I’d paid and upgraded to a large. Not impressed

Staff were extremely rude, went in at about 11pm on 23rd December and someone had said it was only open until midnight so asked if open til 2am as useful, man flipped me off and I said that is rude yet he didn't care and refused to apologize - please feed back to him, from front counter.

Disgusting never again will go here, chicken was pink tastes like soap like they have put it through the dishwasher abour 100 times the poor burger was still clucking at me the bun was soggy all my lettuce was gone chips was dryer then the Sahara desert my Pepsi was warm like someone had been sat ontop of the can a good half hour before packing it never ever again, my mate got damp Ella I’m sure as she was sat on the loo all the next day

The chips were cold and tasted like rubber bands. I ordered the hot chicken with rice. The rice was overcooked and sticky. You couldn’t taste any spices it was just hot so it burnt your tastebuds which made eating it impossible

I ordered a meal for both my partner and myself and It was vile, The food was cold, we recieved chicken nuggets mixed in with our chili cheese bites, my chicken and cheese wrap thing came with no cheese and the chicken was unbelievable dry and was refused a refund apart from the red bull I didn't receive. I do not recommend this restaurant

Waited 2 hours for food to arrive & said too late to cancel on hour 1. Called restaurant multiple times & says no one available and cannot leave message what great customer service……

Dipu is the best!!! Every pepes in the country needs Dipu, he makes the most outstanding meal, the chicken is so saucy and the chips are covered in peri peri! Give this man a pay rise! From Tom and Brad

My wife and I have visited this place twice in the same week now. First time we collected a takeaway and the 2nd time we ate in the dining area within the store. We had freshly cooked chicken strips in mango and lime flavouring and peri peri flavoured fries and tasty peri peri onion rings. The chicken was hot, succelent and tasty both times and the fries were delicious with their peri peri spicy coating. The sit down area was clean, well lit and felt safe with clean comfy seating. I'll be bringing my kids up next week as they're from out of town and we'll be looking forward to a sit down meal there. Overall a 5 out of 5 experience for us. And as muslims we were pleased to see that the food is Halal. Definitely recommend. If you want it fresh, do it the old fashioned way, get in the car and collect it yourself instead of relying on someone to deliver it for you some time after it was cooked. 😊.

All I can say is, Pepe’s cheltenham never disappoints. Delicious food, friendly service ,everything perfect 👍

Flavouring of the chicken wings had a bit of a mad taste. Can get better value grilled chicken meals elsewhere.

The food was not how we ordered I asked for no mayo on the kids burgers because of allergies yet they still put it on, the kids nuggets meal only came with 2 nuggets and all the chips were cold

Charged me 30p for red salt when it’s supposed to be free, they did not ask they just add extra charges. Staffs attitude was rude and really unprofessional. Received the food late and cold. Pepes is already expensive and then the food is so tasteless. It’s an absolute rip off and I will definitely not return to this scam takeaway.

Very nice thanks- only criticism is :more lemon and lime sauce on the paneer wraps please! Ours only had the sauce flavour come through on about 1/4 of the wrap. Everything else top notch

Very small portions for the amount you are paying. Definitely don’t get the wings, no chicken on the bones. Nearly £4 for 3 chicken wings with no chicken. Low value for money.

Disappointing yet again! £52.24 for a delivery cold food chips only filled halfway. Chicken dry and cold. And yet again they sent the wrong sauces. I ordered chilli 🌶 and they send extra hot so in the bin they go with no sauce to go with our food. Ang you will never ever be able to contact them by phone. Pepe’s have gone down hill over priced chicken and rice.

Forgot half the order and was rude when I called to see what we could do. The other half did turn up an hour later, and the delivery driver was lovely and very apologetic. Although, by this time I’d already eaten the food so it was wasted. Mid.

Probably the worst meal I've ever had from pepes. Wings were tiny. The xl burger chicken was rock hard. The sauce was sludgy. Will be asking for a full refund.

Rip off. The chicken 'XL' is the same size as a 99p mackies hamburger (no exaggeration).The menu says chicken breast in a bun but its actually about a 3rd of a breast. Peri fries had to be microwaved as i suspected when the driver/rider handed me the unusually cold bag. This would lead me to the assumption that it never saw the inside of one of those insulated bags. Deliveroo also has the cheek to ask that you tip the driver, so what is the delivery charge and service charge actually for? Arrived in time, but i'd rather wait longer for better. First time and last time, sorry Pepe but you need to step up your game with so much better quality competition around.

The food was alright, I ordered 2 mild chicken breast burgers and 5 hot wings, it was all lemon and herb flavoured chicken and was bright yellow. Better to go and collect and make sure your order is correct as most reviews on here mention their order was wrong when delivered.
