The Pitta bread was rock hard and everything else was disgusting, close down the shop please.

The food wasn’t good, lacked flavour and was dry.

Normally wonderful food. and the only place I can get my spicy itch scratched. however, tonight's order I had my normal flavoured pita, and all 3 were hard like they were stale or had been in the microwave. it kinda spoils the whole meal as I use them to eat the chicken in and they were inedible.

The food was quite tasty, the burrito was nice but I paid for extra chicken and it didn’t feel like there was any extra in there, over all it was far too expensive. What we ordered was not worth £45. Very expensive for 2 meals and the chocolate brownie tasted horrible and flowery and had to be thrown away so a waste of money to add that to the order.

Haven’t been able to leave a review for a while but today’s meal really did deserve it. The food was super fresh and full of flavour. Let’s hope that whoever is in the kitchen cooking today is there to stay.

Chicken came as the wrong flavour and X2 fries were missing

I had a really disappointing experience . The food was honestly terrible, rubbish —everything tasted stale and didn’t seem fresh at all. On top of that, the place didn’t feel clean, and it made the whole atmosphere uncomfortable. And also the food took ages The staff seemed uninterested and unfriendly and freshie , and I could barely get anyone to help with the simplest requests. To make things worse, there was loud, India music the entire time, which was distracting and really took away from any chance of enjoying the meal. I won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for good food or decent service.”

Just ordered for the first time food was delivered hot and on time was actually delicious loved the extra fries thanks pepes my new take away place xx

On top of that the driver refused to get out of his car to deliver the food and my friend had to go out to collect it!

Order never arrived. When I used the built in messaging service to ask the delivery where he was, he set the order as delivered and the food never came.

They're super busy at evenings and they mess up the order, not enough sauce on chicken n rice, the quantity of chicken not enough and chicken burnt!

the delivery driver never showed up to collect the food, food was not delivered, couldn't get in touch with just eat. Had to call the restaurant and ask them to contact just eat on our behalf, customer service is non existent from just eat - abysmal. I want a refund and better customer service, the app does not provide a mechanism for dealing with this scenario

Won't go back. Fries hard. Burgers not all that . Expensive too. Tried quesdilla too. Nothing special. Large fries are fukin tiny

Order regularly and one of my fave spots but recently the sauce is watered down (literally it was watery and not spicy - I order extreme so that’s saying something) and the chips had barely any perio salt (which you have to pay extra for, so I expect my 50p worth!) I think it’s under new management maybe?? and you can really tell. Quality gone downhill.

Pepes has really gone down hill

Definitely not worth that price, I upgraded to a large meal but the size is innacurate and the meal didn't even satisfy my hunger. The food came almost cold and fries tasted as if they came straight out of a freezer to fry/boil. Won't buy again.

Food quality has declined. Hygiene is at an all time low & the staff ate rude, they can't be bothered most of the time, which is sad because it used to be a decent spot along time ago.

I’ve had from every Pepe in Birmingham and my lord pepes smethick is the best one I’d ever eaten in my whole 23 years of living …. It was that beautiful I had to ring the shop and personally say thank you!!! I will be coming to this one from now on…. The food was mouthwatering and beautiful and the lovely man on the phone took care of me and delivered my food to top standards (I’m very picky) and this I couldn’t even complain …. The driver came on time , but very rude. Told him to call earlier as I was on seventh floor , in order to get downstairs on time. He calls when he’s already downstairs, and kept calling . Got there told him thank you and he kept quite and left

We order from this establishment every week but have noticed a decline in their hygiene. We are frequently finding hair in our food. Initially, we gave them the benefit of the doubt but now it's bordering on unhygienic. Food Standards Agency if you're reading this, please pay them a visit.

my order was not correct I paid for large fries piri salt this is not what I received I also order chicken and rice box flavour hot extra chicken again it was lemon and herb flavour an didn't look like extra chicken compared to other other chicken and rice box ...... really upset as I spent over £47 also delivery didn't handle with care sauce cups broken leaving sauce all over the drinks again so upset didn't even enjoy the food as it was not what I ordered

Terrible delivery experience. Was told order will be delivered within 20 minutes. Driver took from ship and then disappeared. When asked why he was so late, shrugged his shoulders and said he had a problem. Will never order again.

i normally get delivery with uber eats but i decided to order inside snd the food was so divine. it was much better then when i order delievery, the sauces were so good and portion wise is amazing

She instantly tutted when I answered the door, gave me my food without my drinks so I asked where my drinks were and she walked off muttering shrugging her shoulders. She then knocked the door with the drinks and tried to laugh it off however I did not find this funny.

I thought I'd try the food here once again and it was cold and dry. the xl burger was dry and cold and the rice and chicken box was dry in the middle. 2nd time the food has been like this won't ever be ordering again. waste of money and time.

Not a problem with Pepe’s, always great quality food however Just Eat delivery driver showed up to destination, I was waiting inside my workplace as it was raining, driver however marked as delivered despite not even trying to contact me. I went out into the rain to try and find driver however no-one outside and I have not received any food. Very disappointed in Just Eat’s delivery service and expect compensation.

Been a long standing customer. For sometime it's been under new management and since then the service has gone down hill. Always get order wrong, staff laid back and lack customer service skills. Last time I'm ordering from here. Plenty of other places to take my money.

Since it's been under new management there is always an issue. Orders are never ready on time, staff lack customer service skills, absolute poor communication.

I placed the order at approximately 18:30 and requested to be delivered by 19:35. While tracking the status of the order the time kept on changing and t one point it even said that the food will be delivered at 20:15. Based on this I decided to call the restaurant and was told the timing is changed by Just eat and need to contact them. Watched the lady microwave the pitta then throw it across the room on the grill, a bit crazy! Because it was microwaved it did get stuck to the wrapper. Apart from that overall decent, chips were covered nicely with peri peri salt. I choose hot for my double pitta but I’m not it could have been hotter. Decent option for a quick bite!

I enjoyed eating my fajita meal; it was good, and the staff were helpful.

All the food was on the floor, they did not even clean the floor and tables. All the workers are just walking around like they come for chilling. So much food was on the floor.

The wings and fries were lovely, albeit the wings were on the small side. The pitta sandwich was very dry and not alot of sauce was used, so it barely had any flavour. The packaging got stuck to the pitta as well, ripping most of it when i tried taking it off, so i ended up using a fork and knife to eat it. Customer service when i called was great and friendly

Ordered chilli cheese bites- you get three. Ordered a large chick n rice but it was tiny i would hate to see what the small looks like. The chicken was burnt and not nice at all i couldn’t even finish it. Wont be ordering from here again.
