Pedí pollo y buñuelo de pescado salado para un almuerzo de fin de semana. Grandes porciones y muy sabroso. La cantidad justa de especias. El jugo de piña y jengibre fue un punto culminante. El personal era muy amable - este lugar es simplemente impresionante.

Lugar muy ocupado, solo para llevar. Estaban cerca de cerrar cuando llegué, así que tenía opciones limitadas disponibles. Sin empanadas de carne, pero la verdura estaba sabrosa. Tengo pollo, arroz y guisantes con col. La porción era enorme, y muy sabrosa, tenía sobras para el almuerzo. El servicio puede ser un poco hosco.

No 1 restaurante jamaiquino. Tuve su jugo de savia agria helado hoy y me quedé boquiabierto, me llevaron a Jamaica a casa de mis tías. Gracias por su deliciosa comida y buena costumbre hoy.

When I was younger I used to visit the branch in Dalston. Therefore, I naturally thought this one would be equally as good, I was completely shocked. The resturant had almost sold out of all of it's food before 3pm on Sunday. The resturant had a crudely hand written sign plastered to window stating they took card payments over an certain amount. When served the cashier told me to go the cash machine next door as their card device was not working and due to it being an weekend it would not be repaired. I advised her to take the sign down as it was misleading but that was met with lack of pro-activeness. The large menu and price board had masking tape where changes had been made unprofessionally with marker pen indicating new cost. I wanted to order an ackee and saltfish dumpling but had to order both separately. When I opened the metal takeaway container it was full of oil and hardly any saltfish. The smell was that of old stale food and after three bites I had to throw it away. It really was that awful. I also went for oxtail & rice and peas. I asked the server for less rice as I knew it would probably be a lot. She automatically said we can't give you anymore meat. After tasting it I was happy with not receiving more meat as the meal was bland and the oxtail was cut in extremely small hard pieces. There was more bone than meat. I would strongly advise people to use other carribean takeaways in the area as it was not tasty at all.

I am addicted to their patties. Plenty of filling and beef is nice 'n spicy. Saltfish is lovely too. Always buy 2 at a time!! Reasonable price too

I was dissatisfied with a matter issue and spoke with the owner about the problem and was very pleased with the outcome. The owner offered me complimentary meals to my satisfaction. This was awhile go but wanted to highlight the good customer service until some other West Indian restaurants/takeway. The staff is not overly friendly but the food is good.

Been eating here since a child and still go back with hope and can be pleasing at times. I can not denying the last time I had fried chicken it was very dry and inedible and the last festival I had was tasteless, but in between that I have had steamed fish and fried fish that was good.

I visit peppers and spice regularly. The patties are sumptuous and tasty, with exceptional pastry and flavour. The menu is varied and caters to all palettes. This establishment offers authentic Jamaican food with passion and verve. If you want fresh, delicious Jamaican food, peppers and spice is the place to visit.

They shouldn’t even get 1 star. I am a Rastafarian from birth and have NEVER consumed meat (other than certain types of fish) in my whole life from before birth. My boyfriend (also Rastafarian for many years now) ordered fish soup, was told they had no fish soup but had vegetable soup, which he then ordered instead. However, after he returned home with the soup and I had already drank some of it, to my horror, I discovered red meat in the soup. I called the PEPPERS AND SPICE, TOTTENHAM HIGH ROAD to complain and instead of apology, I received interrogation, accusation and further aggaravation, bearing in mind I have potentially been poisoned by consuming red meat for the first time ever in over 30 years of my life. I went to the restaurant for my refund and received even further interrogation and aggravation. The person in charge stated: “Your boyfriend must have ordered the meat soup! How could HE not see the difference between the meat soup and the vegetable soup?” Excuse me, PEPPERS AND SPICE, you serve soup in polystyrene cups that human eyes cannot see through and my boyfriend asked for VEGETABLE, so why would he expect meat?!! BEWARE THIS DANGEROUS ESTABLISHMENT!!! They will kill you and blame you for their wrong!

I was driving down Tottenham High and thought I would pop into Peppers and Spice as someone has recommended it to me. There was a queue of 5 people when I entered (Postive, Queues usually mean good food to me). Problem was I got to the front of the queue (after about 10 minutes) and the lady completely ignored me and started talking to the woman behind me. I was confused... was I invisible?? Had I offended the woman? The server there went into a full blown conversation with the lady behind me and started serving her instead of me. I could not believe it... I was polite and waited for the next worker to serve me whom was very quiet and she seemed to realise from my facial expression my disgust at what had just happened. The lady that got served ahead of me seemed to be a friend of the worker. I ordered a curry chicken with was ok. The rice and peas didn’t taste great but the chicken was ok. From this visit I won’t be returning... I would recommend driving 150 metres down the road to Brown Eagle or Jerkies. To the owner.. I recommend some staff training on customer service and maybe some customer service mystery customer checks. Service was too slow and the staff member that did eventually serve me wasn’t friendly.

Walked in and was told rudely that there was nothing left of what I ordered, 30secs later the chef came out and said that there was. The place was no where near closed and everyone else who walked in after me got great service. I can't help thinking that the girl did not want to serve me as I am different than there usual customers they get in there.

The meals are value for money and seasoned Caribbean style. The local drinks and sweets. It is a great experience chatting with staff.

Great food and service! Way better than the Dalston branch as that store is very rude and the food in the Dalston branch has gone downhill. Will be back very soon! :)

By now I think I tried everything on their menu, never been disappointed. Food was always tasty, portions big, fair price. And I also noticed improvements in the staff's behaviour, that used to be awful. Still plenty of room for improvement: Put a menu where people can actually see it. If you are not Jamaican, you have no idea what the place has to offer. And it's a terrible loss for the place and the customer. Keep on working on the friendliness of the staff. A smile is the curve that sets everything straight :)

Best Ox Tail Stew in Tottenham- usually has butter beans or dumplings and the meals are only £6. Love this place when I can't be asked to cook because the food always tastes great and fresh and the portion size is definitely worth the money.

L'apparenza inganna perché è il classico posticino un po bruttino e maltenuto sconosciuto ai turisti che offre però cibo da strada eccellente ed a buon mercato. Porzioni abbondanti e sapori intensi. Uno spettacolo per il palato specialmente post chi ama il piccante. Servizio un po' lento e poco predisposto ai turisti (insomma un po' ineducato).

The food is average but gets busy at lunch times, however the food is not as good as it use to be, but ok for a quick fix if your really hungry.,

Este lugar tiene buena comida, pero el servicio es realmente un impredecible. Te dan una camarera que presenta bien, pero a veces cuando visite te servido por una camarera que tiene un problema de actitud y muy brusco. Las ensaladas son agradable y fresco y el pollo frito es genial, mis favoritos son las sopas aquí son encantadores. Mi consejo es que las mujeres un tio!! El servicio con una sonrisa te llevará más de servicio, ser amable no cuesta nada.

Me viene aquí ahora y luego a tomar un bocado.
