Absolutely dreadful. There is an older guy, quite grumpy, EXTREMELY rude, would not go again unless he leaves the place if i’m honest.

Service was ok, were told we could sit basically anywhere we wanted as it was so quiet. But the table we chose a light outside made me feel we were at a disco not a restaurant. The chips were definitely not home made as described, more like frozen done in an air fryer. My pitta was covered in so much grease I couldn’t eat it and my partners chicken was still pink in the middle. First time and unfortunately last time we’ll be eating here

The food is always exceptional, delivery is always on time whether delivered or collected. Would highly recommend.

We've eaten here several times before and never disappointed by the quality and value of the food! I am a creature of habit and nearly always go for the mixed grill, it's so so tasty and filling and amazing value for money! Staff are Always friendly and helpful and food is served in a timely fashion!

Lovely venue for a family celebration. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent choice of food, with Greek and Italian dishes. All the food served was very good. Would have been good to have a wider choice of wine.

I went to this restaurant with my cousin and his wife on a Saturday evening, and was extremely impressed with the food and service. The food was first class and very plentiful. The staff were very very helpful and welcoming, a credit to the restaurant. All in all a really unexpectedly good evening out, thank you all

Delivery was on time but food disgusting. Chicken was very chewy and we ended up throwing away. Meals also seemed to be bulked out with chips when not specified in item description that chips were even included. Would have rather had more veggies or salad.

First time we have ordered from here the gyros were delicious . All the kids loved there pizzas . Everything was hot , fresh and decent portion sizes .

Why is there no option to pay with cash?? Im a regular customer but if i cannot pay with cash then you have lost my custom.

Visited Petras last Friday, food was good & service excellent. It wasnt overcrowded, plenty of space between tables for privacy etc just a nice space to dine. Nice area & a nice restaurant.

The most delicious restaurant in Britain.. The staff is friendly.. The employees are pleasant.. A very clean restaurant and the bathroom is also clean.. We had a shrimp dish with rice, a vegetable lasagne dish, a grilled chicken dish with potatoes.. and a chicken sandwich with potatoes.. All of this is very delicious.. One of the dishes had too much salt and it was replaced heartily. I thank you very much for this restaurant and I wish you more success, creativity and development. The lighting is beautiful and the atmosphere is great, and the dining experience is great!

My partner and I popped in here whilst out for a walk in the nearby woods. I had the steak with Diane sauce, let me tell you that sauce was absolutely beautiful, so full of flavour. My steak was cooked perfectly too. My partner chose the Stifado, she didn't say much whilst clearing her plate (always a good sign), I did have to stop her licking the plate which confirmed she loved the food too 😀. Really pleased we spotted this little gem of a place.

Thoroughly enjoyed the special menu, great value for money, service and attitude was second to none.

Fruit bags and cucumber bags missing from order as well as all the dips

payed over 38 pound for my items for loads of my things not to come and won't answer the phone so I can sort it. its payed for there for I expect my stuff.

A prefect place to drop onto especially on a wet day in the North East. We had a warm welcome from the gentleman waiting on tables and he helped us with our choices. The food was tremendous and very flavourful. I particularly enjoyed the chicken arrabiata but my Dad had the kleftiko and that looked gorgeous. We also had a pudding each and they were large and extremely tasty.

Not bad Greek food, needs some work with water and plumbing I suspect as there is a faint but noticeable sewage smell when you first walk through the doors. Other than that the place is quite nice with simple meal, with a variety of Greek and / or British dishes.

UPDATE, MAY 2024: Last week it was our twins 18th birthday and we book Petros because we all love the place and we had wanted to celebrate with the whole family, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and the Grandpa. We were not disappointed. The staff and the food were exceptional and the night was perfect. Thank you. We have been to Petro's a few times now but last night was for our sons 16th birthday. The service was friendly and we didn't have long to wait for our food and drinks and the food was exquisite. Just the right amount to make you comfortably full. We all had a great time and got to use the Petro's voucher we'd received at Christmas making an already affordable meal for 5 even better.

Excellent food, excellent service, great low prices and nice clean toilets. Deserve way more customers as very quiet when we were there. We sat outside with dogs and were very comfortable.

First time ordering and definitely will be ordering again.

I love the Calzone and the Greek wraps on this place. If you get in durung happy hour the value for money is ridiculous. The ability to bring your own wune for an uncorking fee is something i wish more restaurants would do, it allows the restaurant to focus on really good quality food, as this place does. If you have ever been to agreece you will appreciate the authenticity. I woukd far rather eat here than any of the greek restaurants in town.

Cute little night with my husband and two under 4. Service was slow, it took around 29 minutes for our drinks to arrive, however the food totally made up for it. Fresh and delicious. The children's portions are really big and both our children enjoyed their pastas. We both ate from the Greek menu, all tasty, the tzatsiki was amazing.

Honestly super disappointed, over priced for what it is. It's very much an all or nothing place. We were also seated directly Infront of and completely blocking the fire exit. I got the stuffed vine leaves, a personal favourite, there was only 4 small parcels (about half the size of anywhere else) they were served with a single slice of tomato a single slice of cucumber and a dinner plate full of tzatziki. My son had the hummus with toasted bread, this had the same problem with a massive amount of dip, this time with 4 1 inch cubes of bread. The hummus was completely flavourless and extremely watery. I asked for a few olives to be added to my son's pasta, fully expecting to pay around £1 as an extra, however they charged us £4.95 which doubled the price of his meal. My dad order a medium rare steak with blue cheese sauce, there was barely any sauce and the steak was well-done, he sent it back and got a pretty ok steak but it was swimming in sauce.

Excellent food - really really fresh and tasty. The delivery guy was a pleasure and explained what was what in the bag. It’s the little things that make the difference. Definitely be using them again as the chicken was outstanding

Really awful meal unfortunately. Sweaty food that seemed like it had been in tray for a while, chips were stale n hard. The chicken gyros tasted awful and just overall a really disappointing tasteless meal. Won’t be ordering again. The first time we ordered from here we had pink pork skewers but we thought we’d try it one more time in case it was just an off night but once again was a let down!

Good food only thing far to much for me and that's nothing to complain about. Special very reasonable and house rose was delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Have been to this restaurant several times. Menu is extensive and food is generally very good. The chef only knows how to cook Steak well done but otherwise good. Service is quick but you don’t feel pressured to leave at the end to allow for another xitting.

I ordered for pick up from their website. We arrived about a minute before due time but then had to wait over 10 minutes before it was ready. Apart from that though the food was really excellent and prices reasonable. Would definitely use them again.

The staff were so friendly, and assertive the manger even came and asked how our food was she was very happy cheerful person. The food was absolutely amazing couldn’t be more happy with the service. We went for a friend’s birthday and the Manager heard we where celebrating a friend’s birthday and they came out with a slice of chocolate cake with a candle in would 100% recommend to family friends

I had Sunday Lunch and my husband and granddaughter had pizza, my Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious and the pizzas got the thumbs up also.

Food is always great and never had any issues with delivery times. A lovely change from a regular take away.

Ordered Sunday roast beef dinner, the mash was just a boiled potato that had been slapped with a fork once or twice, 1x cauliflower, 1x broccoli, few slices carrot all massively undercooked. A quarter of the tray was runny, wet, stuffing, I don’t think whoever made that knows what stuffing actually is, it’s not to be on a plate like mash potato. Don’t waste your money folks. £15 wasted.

Delivery period was longer than originally advertised on just eat and food was of very average quality. Pasta carbonara had no taste. Have been looking forward to trying here for a while but can't say I'll be rushing back.

Came here for Sunday dinner and thought the worst when the place was quiet. Genuinely can’t fathom why on reflection. Food was incredible, two-course meal for £12 which included potato skins and a beef Sunday dinner represented more than just excellent value for money. Highly recommend it. Just try it for yourself. We’ll be back. Cheers.

Been here a few times, the service was good. The mains was nice but as my kids always get potato skins as starters we thought we'd try Petros equivalent but wow 3 pounds or 4 they were some crisps sprinkled with paprika, that was shocking really. It's a shame as that poor start sort of colors your evening . The rest of the meal was better.
