Phat Phuc Noodle Bar in Kensington and Chelsea

Found PHAT PHUC by a content creator on YouTube called GARY EATS. I think everyone should watch his review as I couldn't do as much justice as Gary. We had Beef Laska and Chicken Pho both were executed well. fresh ingredients and very flavoursome. Fully recommended a visit to this fabulous eatery. I love this place. The food is great and the service is reliably quick, so great for a super tasty work lunch.

Love this place - always come for lunch. 10/10 for value, staff is super friendly and the food is consistently good. Highly recommend the roast pork on rice - for a pound extra you get it on egg fried rice and it’s amazing.

We had Prawn Laksa and Sticky Rice & Mango. Warm laksa is the best on a cold day. I'm not a big fan of coconut, but it was mild and had just the right amount of spiciness. While the sticky rice was still warm, I topped it with mango and finished it off as a dessert! However, the prices are so high that it only costs 4,000 yen! I groaned afterwards, so I wish I had only eaten camel. The store was busy and there was a line.

I’d put 5 stars even just for service, the waiter somehow found two seats for us right away despite the long line, since we were willing to sit outside. And man was it worth it! Laksa was so creamy and tangy, with juicy prawns and tender chicken while the char siu impressed us with its super fluffy dough and sweet filling. Loved the atmosphere as well, casual, informal yet so cozy.

Ordered Dim Sums and Tofu-Veg Laksa - totally tasteless! Definitely not worth another visit or recommendation. Pull up your socks guys

I delivered so didn't take in the atmosphere, but I did take in the food which was sublime. Had the khari laksa with prawns. The broth was explosive with flavour. Good prices too

A bit hidden for those who don't know. Small and cozy place with nice employees. Great food. I recommend the Edemame beans and Dumplings/Dim Sum. Hand-made, hat you can also see because the menu is manageable Definitely very good prices

This is an average spot. The name of the restaurant suggests it’s Vietnamese but Laksa is from Singapore and dim sums are traditional Cantonese food. The Laksa broth didn’t have any umami from the prawns and was not salty or hot enough - all we could taste was the coconut milk. The rice noodles were pre-cooked and put in the bowl, they quickly added the broth when the order came in. This means the cold noodles pull down the temperature of the broth and makes the whole noodle dish not hot enough, which is a big no no for Asian noodles. The guy taking my order and payment was very impatient as my initial attempt didn’t go through and required me to insert my card. I would’ve forgiven him if the food was amazing. 🥲 Overall, it might be good enough for people not familiar with Asian food. But if you’re looking for something truly authentic, I wouldn’t recommend it.

A real street food! Delicious, fine, fresh, simple. Order when you arrive then wait to be seated if you are eating there. A great address and as usual, a formidable organization which makes everything smooth and relaxing. A menu with 3 soups, including the legendary phò, fried noodles, rice… there is something for everyone! Run to this hidden place at the bottom of a staircase in the heart of the Chelsea district, the Vietnamese meeting place par excellence for a more than fair price.

East Asian food. The place is very cozy and homely. The food is delicious. The owner of the restaurant is the one who serves. She has a beautiful and hospitable spirit. I ordered noodle soup and spring roll.

Street style small eatery off tucked away just off King’s road. Prawn curries are really good. Spring rolls and other starters were just OK. Expect a 20-30 min queue time when you visit.

Local restaurant! I went during lunch and there were a lot of customers. It was a taste familiar to Koreans. I want to go again next time

What a little gem of a place! If you want some super tasty food tucked away then just come here , we were lucky as only a short queue but it was worth the wait, the menu is small which I like as you know the items they do sell are perfect! We had a laksa and a pho and both delicious! The steamed buns, chicken dumplings and duck wraps all excellent!! If you're in the area check out Phat Phuc, you won't be disappointed.

Just off pretentious Kings Street of Chelsea, Phat Phuc serves a mean bowl of laksa reminiscent of Penang. The place is so authentically Asian, it comes with a vociferous auntie shouting orders and where you can sit. It is also so authentic that kitchen hygiene is dubious and you can have extra fried shallots. But I digress. Whilst the duck pancake and dumplings are quite average, it is the egg or rice noodle laksa and its rich broth that sets this place apart from others. The chicken was soft and tender, while the egg noodles had a wicked density and bite that made every slurp delightful. A wonderful place to stop over when you're tired of shopping. If you can a seat, that is.

This place is so much more than I expected I had beef noodles. Without doubt these are the best noodles I have tasted. I can’t wait to come and visit again. Thank you. X

What a hidden gem! The whole vibe automatically transfers you away from London! We had the famous Laksa and the duck pancakes. Both were delicious and will come back soon.

Ordering and seating yourself was an easy task. The Prawn Laksa was delicious- I wanted a tad bit more flavor but adding a bit of sriracha gets the job done. Great cheap eats

This is such a gem. Been here for decades but bought my aunty recently whilst we were at Royal Brompton hospital. Great food.

Laksa was exceptional. Dumplings were really good. Pho was very refreshing.

We loved the shrimp Laksa, at a very good price and accompanied by a beer, it is everything you need for a quick stopover in the neighborhood.

Used to be so good but now is just an upright scam for white folks who don’t know what authentic Asian food should taste like. We ordered pho, the noodle was HARD and literally UNCOOKED. Had to be sent back with a passive aggressive look from the boss. Server was not serving, literally just standing and pointing u to get stuff for yourself. New pho came, literally taste more artificial and instant than the 2£ packs of instant noodle I have sitting at my cupboard in my kitchen. The amount of beef you get for 13£ is the size of half my palm. Think they changed management along the way. Boss man from before used to be way better. Now it’s just out right crap, and a scam. So disappointed as the good reps was cultivated by the old boss. Only pick up a business if you have the heart to serve and nourish. Avoid at all cost.

The Beef Pho is tooo salted. And the servers attitude are really bad. Regretted a lot. I vomited it after eating it and it smelled like chicken essence. The pho was so hard...

Absolutely unreal! Amazing value in Chelsea. What a find! Delicious is an understatement! Had prawn Laksa and was perfect. Staff lovely and friendly. Great atmosphere . In a hurry or would have had the rice pudding with mango. Will be back again! Thank you !

Large queues for good reason delicious authentic laksa & pho.

Tucked away just off Chelsea High Street, there’s a cozy, no-fuss noodle bar serving up delicious dishes. We both tried the laksa (one with prawns and one with chicken), and it was fantastic. Although they don’t take reservations, the 15-minute wait for a table was smooth and well-managed. The floor manager is attentive and quick to clear tables, keeping things moving efficiently. Ordering is fast and easy, and while the seating is outdoors, it’s enclosed and heated for comfort. Definitely worth a stop!

Amazingly this place is hidden down an alleyway. As soon as you get there you are transported to SE Asia and eat fantastic street food, quickly served but tasting superb. I will return…A LOT. Great value and informal but friendly service.

Acceptable bowl of pho, lime upon request. Laksa is definitely not Malaysian/Singaporean, as they do not use the right rice vermicelli, instead the same rice noodles for pho.

Had a lovely beef Pho on a weekend. There was quite a long queue, but it moved quite fast and it was worth the wait. The pork buns were very tasty as well. Dog friendly

The laksa and hagau were of decent quality. It didn't taste amazing, but it was good.

Guys this place is just so wholesome! We ordered the chicken dumplings which were so yum. I had to get up and order another starter so chose the vegetable spring rolls which were nice and crispy. The beef laksa was so flavoursome and we also got the beef wok fried noodles. The beef was so soft and the veg was crispy. We ended the meal with mango sticky rice which was one of the best I’ve tried in London, the mangoes were sweet and soft. Highly recommend this place and will deffo be coming back. Shout out to Omar for the great service!

Their menu is small but expertly curated, and you really can’t go wrong with anything you order. Every dish feels crafted with care, offering authentic flavors that bring comfort, especially on a cold or rainy day. It’s the kind of food that feels like a warm hug. The staff here are attentive, doing their best to help even while keeping that casual, street food vibe. What really makes this spot stand out is the value for money. The prices are fair, great value for the quality you’re getting. I travel to London a couple of times a year, and this place is always on my list, especially in the winter. On a cold, rainy day, their noodles are like the ultimate comfort food for the body and soul.

Only downside is how early it closes!!

Visited on Sunday lunchtime 1pm, queued for 25 minute in the rain but food came within 5 minutes of ordering. Very simple menu and open kitchen cooking and some outdoor tables for dining. Laksa and pho was amazing and decent price. Toilet is available but need key to access.

Really cute little spot with great service. There was quite a line to get in but didn’t take too long and the food came out pretty quick! Would definitely go again just because it’s amazing value for money. Ordered the laksa (pictured), spring rolls and mango sticky rice.

Lovely spot for a laksa. However, they have quite a limited menu so it was disappointing that they didn’t even have any bun on there. I wouldn’t recommend the noodle salad, have a laksa.

Chinese people don’t lie to Chinese people, pho is super delicious. The fried noodles are a bit sweet, maybe Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai prefer it.

It has a campy feel and is a bit hidden? Yes The owner is friendly and seems like a local. My friend, it's delicious. I want to go again.

It’s a really, really delicious restaurant. If you like flavors with spices, be sure to try laksa with shrimp! The staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable🫠 If I had known in advance, I would have come every day... … Be sure to go!!!!!!

Very limited menu expensive and not all that great.

I ordered the chicken and beef pho they both are bland and the meat quality was not up to par. The Laksa was very watered down and tasted like instant laksa from the grocery store. I took back the beef pho and the “boss” brushed the whole situation. Very unprofessional and didn’t even apologise. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! P.s the hostess was very passive aggressive. I kindly asked to move to a table inside the tent and she proceeded to say it’s reserved. When there wasn’t even a reserved sign.

My favourite local spot with the best laksa in London! The steamed shrimp dim sum makes for a delicious starter, and the mango rice dessert is good too. They always take great care of me every time that I return as a loyal customer.

The Pho was okay not great, the laksa was better but not special. Queuing here was atrocious. There were 4 of us waiting to be seated for a while and the hostess was a bit rude. I would not visit again.

The laksa was really good one of the best ones I've eaten. BUT the Pho was very average and the service was awful. They were rude and although their seating area is all outside and are dog friendly they wouldn't sit us "inside" i.e. under the tent, and they were waiting for the 1 table "outside" to be empty. So although there were at least 10 tables empty, they chose to put the people behind us first, so in the end we had to wait over 45 mins even though our turn was 10 mins after we joined the queue. We also had a toddler with us that got cranky and instead of prioritising us (with our turn) they were extremely rude and unhelpful. I will definitely not go back nor recommend it!

Finally checkout out this place, they only open 10-6 so have to come on the weekend. The entrance is right next to a flower shop. First of all they don’t have service charge, because there’s practically no service. I came at 1pm and there was already a queue, expect roughly 20mins wait. The place is busy with a unique street food feel. While you are in the queue, you might be asked if anyone wants to sit at the bar, inside(referring to the tent) or outside(open space next to tent) when seats become available. Once you got a seat, you’re expected to go to the bar and place the order yourself (no one told me this, I asked person next to me). Make a note of your table number which is written on the table with sharpie - they will ask this when you place the order. You have two noodle choices for laksa, I think the egg noodles would be too soft for me so I went for the rice noodles prawn laksa. Portion is on the small side, but taste of the soup and generous toppings make up for it, the prawns were jumble and crunchy, whole basils and herbs on top, slightly spicy coconut soup was spot on.

Didn’t expect to come across authentic Vietnamese food in Southwest London! I had the prawn laksa, and it was soooo tasty and sophisticated, just how true Asian food should be. It made me feel like I was travelling to Southeast Asia.

Prawn Laksa was very good. It definitely needs to be tried. The employees were very attentive. The price was affordable, the portion was large.

Pho was really nice. Wouldnt recommend the egg noodles. It's probably fresh but not slurpy. Its just eating the noodles separately from the broth.

Hard to beat a low key venue that just delivers tasty food. Queued up for around 20mins at 1pm on a Sunday which was faster than we expected. Order up at the kitchen and the food comes out pretty soon after. Tried 3 entrees and 2 mains...they all hit the spot. Bonus points for funny name

Opining as a Singaporean - Laksa is decent, but nothing to write home about. Your standard Singaporean food court laksa. Pho is not very good. Get it at Song Que instead. Mango sticky rice is decent. You decide whether it is worth queuing for all these for 20min on weekends.

You can get noodles for just over 10 pounds. It has a lot of ingredients and feels like a good value, and the taste was delicious without any strange taste. Since you'll be eating outdoors, we recommend going during the warmer months of spring and summer.

It has to be worst Vietnamese I have had in London, the first time in my life I have been served Bun Chay - Vietnamese noodle salad - with over cooked tasteless chicken chunks over a bowl of random unseasoned European style rainbow salad - at the bottom, it’s a small portion of warm soggy egg noodles - wow - still shocked by the good reviews , maybe it’s a Chelsea thing …

Phở đặc biệt wasn't authentic, however wasn't awful either. The broth wasn't a Vietnamese clear broth like you'd hope for. The staff were friendly enough and the outside dining area was a nice experience in the humidity.

This place is not worth the hype. One should manage expectations. We had the Mee Laksa (This has a nice taste but was not spicy like more authentic versions) and the Beef Pho (This was disappointing as it lacked flavour and felt very average). I enjoyed the ambiance -relaxed and fun and the staff were friendly. However the food was average, we had to queue and couldn't help but feel there are better options in London.

Holy Phuc that was delicious! Beautifully orchestrated and organised chaos, amazing food and good fun on a nice summers day. Would highly recommend and well worth queuing - queue moved fast for us today 🙌 We had fried noodles, Laksa, Dim sum and Pork buns. All different but equally delicious 😋

A locals secret location. Super tasty food and authentic atmosphere. Usually a long queue around lunchtime as many office workers get lunch there but it’s pretty chill outside these hours.

It's my first time eating laksa and it's so delicious that I'm writing a review as soon as I eat it. The rice noodles were a bit more delicious! If I get a chance during my trip, I want to come back and try dumplings.

Even when waiting in line, turnover is fast. Food came out quickly. Worth a try. The quantity is not large. You might miss it because you have to go down the stairs.

Foods are good although not exceptional. Would recommend the Prawn Mee Laksa. Delicious. The queue on the weekend can be crazy during lunchtime.

Restaurant is v. popular with locals and hidden from the Kings rd. Queued for 2 mins. Dishes arrived in ten mins. Staff are always smiling and saying hi. Great if you're short of time and want to be served quickly.

As a self-proclaimed pho connoisseur with over 40 pho spots tried around the world, I have to say this was probably the most disappointing experience I've had. The broth was shockingly bland. Even the pho I make at home has a better flavor profile than what I was served here. Sadly, this place just didn't measure up. Also, I'm not sure why they call themselves a vietnamese place while serving laksa as one of their main dishes.

Coming here was the best option! I enjoyed my food soo much and will be coming here more often. I ordered Chicken Pho then I was able to add soy sauce and chilli oil to suit my taste. The scenery makes you feel like you are in Hanoi! It was very straight forward to order your food and be seated. The welcoming waitress was soo lovely and the staff were very helpful.

Sensational spot, great setup and really give you the “Asia” feel. Our favourite quick meal in Chelsea. Don’t miss this!

It was my first time trying authentic Vietnamese food and it was delicious. I had the prawn Laksa and the spring rolls…..yummy🤩. I highly recommend this place. Service was great and quick and the price is very affordable. Will return for more delicious food.

A very special Vietnamese restaurant! The taste is quite good. It is said that it has been opened here for 30 years... There is always a long queue... Remember, don't eat too late because it closes at 6pm
