Very inviting, welcoming, splendid place

Terrible service, takes ages to get served no apologies when they have forgotten some stuff (special mention to the blond waitress). They are not attentive either. When you ask for the bill or anything else they clean the tables instead of prioritising customers and you just WAIT FOREVER. Staff need to be trained properly!

We ate very very well! The food is very good. Also the attention, Francesco very amiable and kind. The place is nice, big. Truly recommendable

Disfruté de mi tiempo aquí, que es importante cuando se come solo. El personal no me apresuró y me dio el espacio y el tiempo que necesitaba, pero también fue bastante tranquilo en mi visita. Disfruté de mi comida, pero leyendo otras críticas a continuación estoy de acuerdo - tal vez era soso. No soy experto en fotografía, así que no pensé mucho en eso en ese momento, y me lo comí todo. Tamaños de porción buenos también.

Food was amazing! We had two lovely attentive waitresses, one who was on her trial shift!

Delicious food and super service 😋

Was craving some Pho so I tried this restaurant, the Pho was super yummy, my friend who had only tried Pho once many years ago absolutely loved it too. It was perfect to warm you up after being so chilly outside. We had a comfy booth seat, the atmosphere is very nice and cozy. Our waiter was very friendly. I thought it was very reasonably priced, it was 12-13 pounds for a bowl of Pho. Something to note is that they only accept card payments.

After having tried multiple Phos in London this has to be one of the best ones so far! And the staff is super friendly which makes it even more enjoyable.

Food was great, just not a fan of the "optional service charge" that is already added to your bill and I don't recall seeing that mentioned on the menu, just a small note at the bottom of the receipt. I understand it for tables of large groups, but there was only two of us.

El viernes 6 de septiembre, alrededor de las 2: 00 PM, visité el Pho Café en Islington por primera vez. Desafortunadamente, esta visita se convirtió en una experiencia profundamente traumática. Momentos después de que me sirvieran la comida, un hombre típico de Europa del Este (que parecía un gitano rumano, ya sabes, los que mendigan y dejan las cosas en el tubo) – alto, grande, ancho – con hombros, redondo – se me acercó. Estaba incómodamente demasiado cerca y en silencio colocó un pedazo de papel con escritura en mi iPhone a mi lado en la mesa (que yo no sabía entonces). Su comportamiento inmediatamente me inquietó. No hablaba, pero el mal me miraba con una mirada inquietante, casi depredadora. Cortésmente le dije que no tenía efectivo y le pregunté si podía irse. La situación se sintió mal desde el principio. Su papel incluso tocó mi comida, aumentando aún más la incomodidad. Inmediatamente después de que este hombre se fue, me di cuenta de que mi iPhone 15 Pro Max había desaparecido. El robo había usado el periódico como táctica de distracción para robarlo. Estaba en estado de shock y pánico, buscándolo, pero había desaparecido sin dejar rastro. El sentimiento de violación era profundo, e incluso ahora, me siento incómodo por comer fuera en los restaurantes. Este incidente pone de manifiesto una grave falta de seguridad y atención al cliente en Pho Café. A pesar de que esto aparentemente es un problema conocido en el área, el personal no nos advirtió a mí o a otros clientes del potencial de robo de teléfonos. La ausencia de medidas proactivas o advertencias es motivo de grave preocupación y debe abordarse de inmediato. Si me hubieran informado de los riesgos, habría sido más prudente y habría guardado mi teléfono. En cambio, me dejaron vulnerable. Es profundamente preocupante que el restaurante priorice evitar la publicidad negativa sobre la seguridad de sus clientes. La ausencia de medidas proactivas o advertencias es reveladora. He decidido no volver nunca a Pho Café, y recomiendo encarecidamente a otros que extremen la precaución si deciden visitarlo. Este restaurante no es un ambiente seguro, y cenar allí significa arriesgar su comida y sus pertenencias personales valiosas.

Good place, food was good but service was a bit relaxed

Quality of delivery has really dropped off. No lettuce anymore with spring rolls, hardly any fresh herbs with bun noodles or rice dishes. What happened?

I was spoken to rudely by a blonde person who had her hair tied up in a bun when I requested a different seat due to medical issue. She seems to be the "manager". Rude to staff members and also to customers. She spoke to me dismissively and aggressively when I mentioned that I was unable to sit on a stool. She also spoke to a male waiter very dismissively who was trying to help on my behalf. Won't be back. There was an Asian male waiter there was very kind - thank you to him for trying to help. I feel sorry that your manager is dismissive. Good customer service comes from the top. You can speak to people respectfully and kindly regardless of whatever issues you are going through. I am sure there will be a response from the owner who will not address the crux of the issue - manager rudeness and lack of inclusivity/adaptability towards customers. Update - "safety reasons" were not mentioned in person, so the below response is not strictly true. Is there going to be a response regarding the rudeness of the manager?

Correct, we really liked it, not located in any tourist area, we had a quiet dinner, we were a group of 10 people with teenagers

Great prawn curry, the flavour is lovely and rich and good portions. Love that they give cauliflower rice as an option. Starter of beans were delicious as a side too.

There is no such good food in Hong Kong. If you like spicy food, you will definitely like it. The portion is also very sufficient.

Service was wonderful, very good server Francesco, food was pretty good-alright, chicken curry the 600kcal one was slightly funky like a coconut but not really, but still pretty filling, and I enjoyed it to the extent that I've worn a bit of the soup on my shirt 🤣 Anyways yea atmosphere is nice not bad at all. Service charge 12.5% but deserved absolutely. Thanks to Francesco and the main man with the bushy moustache for helping me with apple pay. I'll definitely go next time, and perhaps for an actual pho. Not bad at all.

Went to Pho Islington as a group of 4 For starters we got baby squid (standard flavours 5/10) Vietnamese chicken and prawn pancake (exceeded expectations, great sharing dish, 9/10) Mains, we got king prawn curry soup (similar to Thai green curry but lighter, generous serving of prawns 8/10) House special crab pho (fully bodied broth, hearty and great with chilli oil 7.5/10) House special chicken pho (tomato and lime broth, the green veggies were very fresh and tasted even better with the addition of chilli oil 8/10) We also got drinks - dragon fruit lemonade and the non alcoholic negroni was sour/ citrus- perfect if you prefer something tart Thr Vietnamese iced coffee was the best coffee I've had in a while! Get this when you visit. The service was great too, servers were very friendly and helpful Overall experience 8/10

Don’t like that the service charge is already on the bill because if you are not check it you could pay it twice. Also I prefer to have the option how much to tip the amount I think is ok.

Good food, fresh and flavorful. The brisket pho is very good. Definitely worth a visit. The staff is very friendly and will do what they can to make sure your experience is good. The place was busy which caused the staff to be a bit overwhelmed, but the food came out quickly and they made sure I knew they wanted my experience to be good.

I tried to have lunch here at 3pm. There were tables available even though only about 1/4 of the restaurant was open, one of the tables had a couple of boxes on it which could have been easily moved. I was not welcomed to the restaurant, in fact my visit started with rudeness from what appeared to be the manager! I was then told there were no available tables! I pointed out the various empty tables (in different parts of the 1/4 restaurant which was open) but I was told “that part of the restaurant was closing” - which bit? All of it?? I have experienced rudeness from this restaurant before, but I doubt I will return again.

Just WOW! Hands down, this is the best food I’ve eaten in a long time! It’s incredible. So tasty! I loved everything, also their cocktails. I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed. The service was great too. PLEASE come to Sevenoaks Kent!! Yum!
