Visited the restaurant two times in two weeks. Any restaurant that pulls you back deserves a shout out, as does pho lan and the warm family that serves delicious Vietnamese food.

Food was quite good but not the best,service was the same as food and the atmosphere was the best because we had plenty of choices of where we could sit with good decorations.

First time here & it certainly won’t be the last. Welcoming & friendly staff. Excellent food & reasonably priced too. Thanks & see you again soon! x

Some of the MOST delicious takeaway food you will find in Hull! Delicious and very well priced. We like the spring rolls, soft shell crab, stir fried noodles, and vermicelli salad noodles. We particularly like the beef with ginger and spring onion, to go with fried rice with mixed veggies 🌟

Very tasty food, great value for money, interesting range of options from a tasty pho to goat or frogs legs curry. We had 3 dishes, all delicious.

Amazing place, came with my mum and they were so sweet and welcoming. The food was delicious and so fulfilling, 10/10 would recommend and come again!

Another hidden Gem right on our doorstep😍 Amazing food all cooked fresh and full of taste. The menu all looked / sounded amazing was hard to choose what to have. Will definitely be returning asap to try other dishes….. Very well priced for the portion sizes. You will not be disappointed if you give these guys a try.

Food was amazing, balanced perfectly. Had the Goat in Galangal sauce, with side order of rice. Decent sized portion and plenty of sauce. Staff very friendly, kind. Defo worth a visit. Can't wait to go back again

Excellent food. As a regular visitor to Vietnam 🇻🇳 this is as close to traditional Vietnamese food as you can find. Very good quality ingredients too.

Small restaurant, but pleasant decor with Vietnam pictures adorning the walls. The intermittent flickering of the lights was a little off-putting, but forgotten once the food arrived. The food was served promptly and with a smile. All the food was delicious from the starters to the mains. My vermicelli noodle beef broth with rare steak was delicious, a little bit of the very hot chilli condiment went a long way 🌶🌶🌶🥵 but I loved it. The free watermelon to finish is a nice touch. All in all, a great 3 course meal with drinks for a very reasonable price £20-25 per person. Highly recommended. 👌👌👌

We were disappointed with the food to be honest. Quite bland. Precooked chicken that comes in packets, not the best. Curry weak, not great. ‘Street food’ style. Would we try again, probably not. Price wise, ok, no complaints.

Great pho, great fried salt and pepper shrimp, amazing house lemonade and we were given refreshing watermelon on the house at the end of the meal. Lovely place with great calming background music. Definitely coming again and recommend all to visit.

If you want authentic, delicious Pho, then come here. The rice noodles were cooked perfectly, the broth was packed full of flavour, with a generous serving of tender beef. Fantastic value for money. The service was great.

Tried a takeaway from Pho Lan this evening, absolutely beautiful. Chicken Satay skewers were the best ever, special fried rice, chicken in black bean sauce, both very tasty. Friendly staff, we'll be back for a sit-down meal!

Really nice vibe in the restaurant. Staff are very nice and explain the menu well. For starters we had soft shell crab(10/10), frogs legs(10/10), prawn toast(10/10), papaya salad(10/10) and summer rolls(2/10)- these were just full of lettuce and herbs, not enough prawn. For mains we had Pho(6/10), shaking beef (6/10). The meat in the Pho was so soft and portion was generous but I have had better broth. The shaking beef sauce need to be thicker, was too watery and portion was too small for the price. The coffee needs more condensed milk.

Just had a great meal at Pho Lan, was absolutely beautiful, very reasonably priced, good service, tried the frogs legs, I’ll tell you , they where lovely, crispy on the outside, juicy in the middle, like chicken! Will definitely be going back👍

Food was delicious, service was slow. But only one team member on the night we went. Very relaxed atmosphere. Food offerings cover a large array of tastes and very delicious. Despite the relaxed service, I would not hesitate to return.

A great selection of food choice including quale which i had never eaten before, and loved. The staff were very friendly and answered any questions we had. For starters my wife and I shared a dish of salt and chilli prawns and also the quale. The salt and chilli were the best ever. Even better than the previous nicest I had ever eaten! (Aroma) for mains I had the duck and rice which was delightful and my wife the beef and black bean. There was nothing on the menu which I would not try. A nice clean restaurant with subtle music and very clean washrooms All in all a great meal at a great price. A very easy 9.5/10
