Piccadilly Whip Ice Cream and Coffee Emporium in Tower Hamlets

Me cotizaron un precio total de £ 150 para esto, a lo que accedí y transferí un depósito de £ 50 inmediatamente. El día del evento llegó una camioneta de helados y la señora que servía le preguntó a mi hija si le gustaría un cono o sundae. Supuse que como ella había preguntado abiertamente esto, los sundae estaban incluidos en el precio acordado originalmente. Una vez servida mi hija me fui y regresé adentro. Después de unos minutos me di cuenta de que los huéspedes regresaban de la furgoneta con varios helados, piruletas y granizados diferentes. Cuando pregunté esto con los invitados me informaron que la señora que servía les daba a elegir. No cuestioné esto, ya que supuse que al ser una empresa que había tomado un pedido muy claro y como me habían dado un precio fijo por un servicio, el funcionario habría sido informado de los detalles de la reserva. Cuando volví afuera para ver a los invitados vi a la señora sirviendo ofrecerle un granizado a un niño indeciso. Me acerqué a pagar el saldo de £ 100 como se acordó y me sorprendió ver que el saldo había aumentado a £ 202. Cuando pregunté esto, la señora me dijo abiertamente que le habían dado instrucciones de “darles lo que pidan”. Luego me dieron el teléfono para hablar con alguien de Piccadilly Whip que era nada menos que grosero y condescendiente, incluso declarando que me había hecho un favor (a pesar del hecho de que mi reserva y depósito original fue tomado) por alguien que asistiera a la fiesta en absoluto, ya que en realidad estaban reservados. Como no me había preparado para desembolsar £ 100 adicionales en efectivo y no tener dinero en efectivo en la casa, entonces tuve que dar la vuelta y pedir a los invitados de la fiesta dinero en efectivo, que era absolutamente mortificante 😩 A pesar de hacer una queja formal a Piccadilly Whip no he recibido una disculpa, mucho menos un reembolso o cualquier otro gesto de buena voluntad por lo que claramente fue una mierda por su parte. Ciertamente no volveré a usarlos en el futuro y recomendaría a cualquier otra persona que busque un servicio de helados que busque en otro lugar!

¿Por qué esta camioneta de helados se intercambia en una escuela primaria sin una licencia comercial para el consejo de Castle Point todas las tardes de esta semana cuando el consejo le ha dicho que no se le permite sin la licencia correcta, es muy caro y no es justo para los padres de los niños que no pueden pagarlo, también bloquea completamente el camino que no es seguro para los niños?

£10 for a plain vanilla softserve ice cream. Honestly!!!!! I bought 3 softserve ice cream, no topping, no chocolate, no fancy cone. £30! This is just ridiculous and more than the high end Venchi Italian ice cream which is far far better. I feel stupid and cheated.

By the time we got to the Tower of London our family was hot and bothered by all our city sightseeing. The little one immediately spotted the ice cream on offer and the slushie machine so we had both. The young lady running the place was very kind and patient. My niece loved the little palm tree cup she got to keep as a souvenir of her visit and we enjoyed some great tasting icecream as an ideal refresher and to recharge our sugar levels!

Very nice service and very nice coffee verity with flavours not to strong just the right amount love the cakes and ice cream and hot dogs going again everyday love them so much very nice to talk to and always service with a smile

2 hotdogs, w cheese. £24!! Come on!! I realise that places like this have to pay rent, but seriously?!? Talk about stiffing tourists for prices! The hotdog wasn’t even particularly good, rather watery to be frank, and 2 pounds for a (small) handful of cheese scattered on top. Extortionate!!

Wow, it's great taste indeed. We stopped here and tried a few different dishes. We love the taste of the ice cream, it's amazing. Next time you visit, try the Pistachio, its taste is amazing.

DO NOT EAT OR DRINK HERE!! I ordered 3 hot dogs, and the guy told me he gonna give us the chilli hot dog. I told him that I don’t want it, because we don’t like spicy, he told me, this hot dog is not spicy. I asked him 3 more times if he is sure and the answer was always don’t worry, it’s not spicy. When we got the hot dogs, I couldn’t even have more than one bite, because it was crazy spicy... I went back and he said sorry, I didn’t know that’s gonna be spicy for you... well, we just throw them away... £21 rubbish!

We stopped by this place to get a warm cup of coffee and hot chocolate. Never again. They were both so watered down that it seems they reuse the same coffee grain and chocolate mix 20 times. I did not expect an Italian espresso, but for the price, we expected it to taste like what we ordered. Just awful!

Well this place was recommended by one of my friend and it turned out to be quite disappointing. The Ice cream was good ,but coffee tasted terribly bad.

I love Ice cream but this is not the best I have tasted, I have tasted better for less money but that's London for you (Top prices)

I heard a lot about this place from my Friends in India and really wanted to come here and let me tell you i was not disappointed. A must visit place for Ice cream Lovers.

Before visiting the Tower of London, we thought we would have coffee. Piccadilly Whip seemed like a suitable choice - wrong. At this permanent footpath outlet, we ordered two cappuccinos, a latte, a mocha and a hot chocolate. So bad was the coffee that all were thrown away unfinished. Only the hot chocolate could be consumed. (Lucky that person!) Do not buy from here. Too late we found far superior outlets around the corner closer to the Tower entrnace.
