Piecaramba! in Brighton and Hove

Today was a little bit of heaven for me as trying to find places to eat when you are a coeliac is a challenge. We decided to try Piecaramba for lunch and it was a total winner. We had different pies and they were both good as well as the mushy peas and mash. I had the cherry pie to follow which was delicious. We enjoyed it so much that I will be picking up some for our freezer on our way home as we are not local. Whether you can or can’t eat gluten give it a whirl. Just had a delivery from the restaurant, so delicious! The goats cheese veggie pie is a winner and the gluten free pastry was amazing! So good to find this rare gem for GF as usually pub food is tricky. All tasted so fresh and exceeded expectations ✨

What a great place. Made to feel so welcome by the hosts this evening. Pies are to die for. We all had the pie towers and can highly recommend them all. Totally full up. The place is also amazingly decorated and loved looking at all the decorations and pictures.

We stumbled across Piecaramba when walking around the Lanes and thought we'd give it a go. A huge selection of delicious pies and a choice of mash, four ways. A thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Heard lots about this place and was dying to go there after lockdown and was not disappointed! The restaurant is HUGE with lots of different rooms all themed differently, there’s a Hobbit Hole with a mini cinema showing the Lord of The Rings films, a Batman cave, gaming booths and arcades upstairs…..and I haven’t even mentioned the food yet! The pies are incredible – I had the Hen Party (chicken, ham and leek) which was delicious and my partner has a Bounty Hunters Chicken (chicken, bacon and cheese in a bbq sauce) we both went for the Pie and Mighty option where you get crispy shallots on cheese on top for £1 more! Staff are really friendly and very respectful of social distancing and everything was kept very clean and safe- cannot wait to go back!

Walked past this quirky place in the lanes, our 2 year old twins loving all the superheroes above the door....after a beach visit on a proper british weather july 4th we decided pie was a good shout. Manager and staff were so welcoming and accommodating (especially our little rascals) who were totally in awe of the downstairs surprise.... now you have to go just to see what it is! The pies were pie-fect! recommend the blue steel and notorious BIG. Our fist meal out since lockdown started did not disappoint. Great work guys! We will be back (excuse the pun)

Went in the evening, food was really enjoyable, tasty and a nice amount. Good to see there was vegan options, the member of staff was friendly and informative and discussed the history of the establishment and meals. If we are ever in Brighton again, we will be returning here

This is a review of two halves. Firstly, the food. A mind-boggling selection of tasty pies (including vegan options), gravy to die for (or liquor, if your inhuman inclinations lean that way... 🤣). Great food, great portions and all served up by happy, friendly staff. Part 2 is a tribute to the decor. This is a haven for geeks. From the Mjölnit loo-roll dispenser in the toilets to the Pulp Fiction golden briefcase mounted on the wall, this is a shrine to all things nerdy from the '60s (Modesty Blaise comic strip on the wall) to the present day. Piecaramba manages to pull off the winning combination of great food with a style that makes an old geek like me very happy. A must-visit if you're in Brighton. 👍🖖

Well worth a visit. Fantastic pies, the minted chilli mushy peas were to die for and the gravy and mash were also delicious. Great friendly service, fun and interesting decor. The place is bigger than it looks, with both an upstairs and back section. Loved the giant mug of builders tea. Highly recommend.

We booked to have dinner as two families with teenagers and had a great time. We sat in a booth with SNES and played games including Top trumps. Such a cool collection of the of popular culture and really well layed out. The pies are amazing, the real stars of the place, and I highly recommend chick Norris but they are all good and everyone's plates were empty. Well worth a visit.

On holiday, saw this place I’m really fussy about pies grown up on pie mash and liquor, but gave it a go, it was amazing, considering going again it was a proper pie, and the young girl serving was brilliant really friendly, absolutely loved it please come to jersey

I've lived and eaten in Brighton for over 10 years and this has to be the best meal and restaurant to date! So much so I've been back 5 times in 3 weeks! There is a huge variation of pies to suit all taste buds, allergens and dietry requirements - I'm slowly working my way through the list. My favourite so far is the Notorious P.I.G - pulled pork in a BBQ sauce. I have it with mustard mash, baked beans and pay £1 more to have crispy onions and cheese on top! A MUST! Loads of games consoles, arcade machines and relaxing areas too. See you next week Piecaramba!

It's probably clear from its name, but Piecaramba's raison d'etre is pies. The range available is huge, running from vegan to lamb, pork and game (via chicken and beef). The pies are well made and come with a choice of mash and beans/peas. The prices are very reasonable. My wife and I have visited as a couple and with our (adult) kids. The decor/ambience is fun, based around games, comics and film. You can sit in booths furnished with an old SNES too! And the service is fab. Visit soon, you'll be hooked.

I could not praise the owners of Piecaramba more! We booked the back room for my 30th birthday meal with some friends. The food is amazing and such a great price. There are loads of veggie and vegan options and I could not recommend it more. It's quirky, well decorated and you're sure to be well taken care of. Thank you!!

The new Piecaramba in Brighton is well worth a visit. We were blown away by the décor and as with the other 2 Piecaramba restaurants, you will not be disappointed with the pies. My wife and I both had Beef Wellington pies which were superb....

The food was very dry and the atmosphere was not so cosy. The waiter was very friendly and helpful !

Went in as was the retro vibe caught my eye. Staff were super friendly and made it a great place to stop with the whole family. The pies themselves are epic – really pleased to have found this place!

Found this little gem whilst wandering The Lanes... and we’re so glad we did! Cool place, with a nice vibe and amazing choice of Pies and sides. Staff we’re dead friendly and service was great. Will definitely be back!

My wife and I popped in for a pie and we absolutely loved it. I had chicken and my wife had a veggie option, which I tried too and they were both fantastic! It’s a fun restaurant with warm and friendly staff!

Have been to a couple of the Piecaramba restaurants now and they never fail to disappoint. The menu choices are amazing and the atmosphere in the restaurant is always so chilled. Highly recommend!

In brighton for the day shopping, stopped for lunch here. So much to choose from, I went for the piefall tower which was delish & my gf went with a vegan option, both were polished off! Service was super friendly, would highly recommend!

I have been waiting for piecaramba to come to Brighton since I tried it for the first time in Winchester. I love the amount of vegan choice they have. I went for the Not Dog, mash, peas and crispy onions and loved it. Love seeing...
