Well cooked and presented food, helpful and pleasant waitress.

Went early doors but still loads of people. Great lively atmosphere. Went for the seafood broil it was enormous obviously fresh not frozen and do tasty Matty our waiter was attentive and friendly throughout

Amazing food and lovely staff. We ordered hot Meze for two, charcoal grilled whole sea-bream & two desserts which were so delicious with generous portion. Highly recommended!

We were part of a group that had booked their Sunday Roast bottomless brunch for a birthday party approximatelya month i advance, with a party of 6 adults. We had travelled up from the Midlands, others in the party from the North East. On arriving at the pre booked time, we were told that there was no Sunday Roast menu left as it had all been used. After some discussion (difficult as the live music they had on was way too loud for a restaurant), we were told we could have items off the normal menu or the brunch menu, but it wasn't clear if the bottomless element applied or not. Eventually, we ordered some drinks and sat waiting, and waiting. After a further ten minutes with no signs of drinks arriving, we left. Appalling organisation, particularly annoying as we watched people on the next table being served up a roast dinner. The venue appeared to be very understaffed for the numbers of diners, particularly the one person we saw behind the bar. If you are running a restaurant with background music, it should not be so loud that diners have to shout across the table to be heard or to communicate with the staff. Needless to say, we shall not be returning.

10s 10s 10s across the board!! What an amazing find. Visiting from London and had a fantastic Christmas Day lunch here. Food was delicious, best Christmas lunch I've ever had. Staff are fantastic, warm and caring. We returned for the evening for a Christmas party... music, dancing and a lot of fun. This bar/restaurant has just nailed the dining out experience with a whole lot of fun thrown in. Can't wait to return... thank you James and staff for a very memorable time 🥂🍽🎶🥳

WORST bottomless brunch ever. Done them all over the city and this was the worst service, had to chase for drinks constantly, slow service, rude host who clearly couldn’t cope even though it wasn’t even packed. Avoid if you actually want a drink.

Unreal food, but Sophia was an absolute highlight the best service ever!

We wanted to try the seafood boil. Was so disappointed. Looked nothing like the TikTok video. Where was the steam? Had no smoked sausage, too many mussels. Didn’t ask how spicy we wanted the sauce. Seemed to be more interested for the party that was booked for 7pm. Service was sound but forgot some cutlery for the butter. £140 later, will we return?… no. Never.

What a fantastic afternoon we had at 8 Water Street celebrating a 21st. we booked for brunch and was not expecting to get such amazing service, honestly i would definitely recommend it. Fantastic singer, the 2 staff who served us (can’t remember names)🫣🍾🍾🍾🍾too much prosecco! but wow they really looked after us, thank you for a great afternoon 🙏🏻

Llegué a las ocho y media de la noche anterior - el muchacho detrás de la barra me miró fijamente desde lejos hasta que finalmente me di cuenta de que no iba a venir y por lo que tuve que gritar esencialmente para preguntarle si todavía estaban sirviendo comida. Eran geniales. Nos llevó a una cabina y la gente en la cabina de al lado estaba vapeando. Le pregunté si se les iba a permitir seguir vapeando y me dijo 'no te preocupes - ¡tú también puedes vapear! ' Los asientos de la cabina estaban sucios y cubiertos de migajas. Que no nos fuimos entonces fue un milagro menor, pero por alguna razón nos quedamos y pedimos comida. Teníamos beyti y un kebab de pollo a la parrilla. Ninguno de los dos ganará ningún premio, pero en realidad sabían bastante bien, así que fue una pena que fueran decepcionados por el lugar. El mismo chico detrás de la barra nos derramó vino. Echó la mía por toda la mesa, la miró y se alejó y nunca volvió. Finalmente me compré unas servilletas de la zona del bar para limpiarlo yo mismo mientras él se quedaba a un metro de distancia charlando con sus compañeros. El personal parecía congregarse hacia la parte trasera del restaurante, algunos también vapeando en este punto. Nadie hizo una revisión y cuando nos fuimos nos dimos cuenta de que nos habían encerrado. Muy recomendable si te encanta un restaurante sucio donde los clientes, y aparentemente el personal, se les permite vapear dentro.

Excelente comida. Buena opción en el menú. Buen ambiente, buena música. Personal amable. Muy bien diseñado con cabinas individuales. Volvería la próxima vez en Liverpool y sin duda recomendaría.

Estábamos deseando venir aquí nos veíamos encantadores en instagram lugar es precioso por dentro reservamos bottomless brunch estaba muy ocupado la comida salió muy rápido no se ofrecían salsas ni nada y las mesas no estaban configuradas, las bebidas no eran las mejores fresas daiquiri estaba fuera una máquina de granizado no eran los mejores los martinis pornstar que parecían hacer de una gran jarra y no tenían una foto de Prosecco con ella, para bottomless brunch no eran muy rápidos Sé que estaban ocupados pero pedí bebidas y estaban jst en el bar esperando a que se les sirviera el personal era amable y el cantante que tenían en era muy bueno, pero hacía mucho frío allí también un poco decepcionante

Mi familia y yo visitamos este restaurante en la noche del 6 de noviembre y las primeras impresiones fueron muy buenas. Fuimos recibidos por un amable miembro del personal y se nos mostró a nuestra mesa, que era una cabina privada y era muy cómodo. Nuestro pedido de bebidas fue tomado rápidamente por un bar muy eficiente. El ambiente y la temperatura del restaurante era perfecto. Mi hija no podía faltar a su elección de música y el volumen era justo y no demasiado alto. Pedimos nuestra comida y esto llegó en una cantidad razonable de tiempo mientras disfrutamos de nuestras copas de vino. Todas las comidas estaban calientes y bien presentadas. Los tamaños de las porciones estaban por encima de la media y el sabor y la calidad de la comida era de un buen nivel. Optamos por los postres en lugar de un entrante y no nos decepcionó. El pastel de queso biscoff estaba delicioso y es, sin duda, el mejor que he probado. Era tan fresco y el tamaño de la porción era más que adecuado. Saludos al chef por nuestra comida de esta noche. Lo único que lamento es no haber conseguido la receta de su tarta de queso. Bien hecho 8 Water Street y esperamos volver a verte pronto.

I recently had an amazing experience at a local restaurant where the food and drink service truly stood out. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Finalmente, además de las £ 75. 60 factura que pagué con tarjeta, me cobraron otras 17 libras. 40 en comisiones bancarias. Entonces, ¿con qué tipo de banco mata a sus invitados tiene un contrato? Only popped in for drinks. It was absolutely choca block with people having a lovely time. Music was bouncing, and the food smelt gorgeous. Will definitely be back for food and drinks next time.

Congratulations- worst dining experience I can remember. I couldn’t eat my food - the salad looked like it was in the bottom drawer of my fridge for a month. The lamb was a questionable meat. The calamari looked like onion rings and had the consistency of old rubber bands. Impossible to get service. Loud hip hop music and vaping teenagers. What a train wreck.

Quite possibly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Was out celebrating my friend’s birthday, one of us in the group was served raw chicken and another made to feel extremely uncomfortable for having dietary requirements. Manager was super unprofessional and rude, my friend has reached out to restaurant but no response.

Lovely place and lovely staff who are very attentive and the food was delicious. Had a lovely experience and will definitely be going back xx

Amazing food & drinks. We had the roast and bottomless drinks, it was fantastic! The service was great! Melissa was our server and honestly she could not get any better! She was so attentive, she served us quickly and made good suggestions for us to try with drinks and food. She was just great! All round great afternoon. Booked as gluten free. Starter came out with normal bread which I had to inform staff. Main meal was meant to be without special sauce to make it gluten free. Advise staff I could not eat it. Manager took it from bill and offered another meal but by this time I really did not trust the kitchen. It has been many years that I have been to a restaurant where the manager has not taken my order as I am gluten free Would advise anyone who is coeliac or gluten free to be very careful as I now have serious consequences. Night out in town ruined

Food was ok, had a groupon offer and was charged additionally for the main menu after confusion between staff about what was included in the offer, couldn't be resolved after explanation, very slow service as well. Much better places to go if you want turkish/mediterenean food, would not come back.

Wow!!!! What an amazing venue. We were celebrating a family birthday and had the most special night. The food was lovely, and the staff and service was excellent, I do have to mention Nathan who looked after us all night, nothing was too much trouble for him, thanks so much again I will definitely return.

Lovely restaurant. Got there at about 6pm on a Thursday, it was relatively quiet but an hour later was quite busy without being loud. Nice relaxed setting, no blaring music which I love. James was looking after us all night and he was so lovely, a real credit to the restaurant. The cocktails were gorgeous and were on 2 for £12 before 7pm… definitely recommend the pineapple margarita and lotus biscoff cheesecake! Would recommend for the price especially for a group on offer!

Booked for bottom less brunch for 90 minutes Food was out within 10 minutes which was amazing they took pur drinks orders and waited over half an hour for our first drink we then asked for another My partner ordered a budwiser to be told they where sold out he didn't like the other beer option so had 1 drink We had 3 drinks within the time slot we left before our time was up as we where just waiting and waiting There was a lovely server Kim who came to our section even though it wasn't her own and apologised and left a bottle of procecco as she said she had noticed our wait and it was unacceptable she also brought my partner a bottle of desperado as that's the other beer he liked she was amazing and went out of her way to help up The food was really nice was just a shame on the drinks as I have been to a few bottomless brunches before and never been thirsty at a bottomless brunch before

We regularly visit here because of the great quality food , service and beautiful venue. We had the roast dinner, bottomless brunch and now we tried the three courses for £18.95 The menu offers so much choice ! The food was delicious, calamari and creamy garlic mushrooms and prawns to start. mains- great portion sizes washed down with some great cocktails. I recommend trying the Beyti! Baklava and cheesecake to finish! If you can! 100% recommend coming here.

Came here for bottomless brunch and initially was lovely, food came out really fast however the service of drinks was really slow for a bottomless brunch and you would definitely get more out of it elsewhere. The lady serving us was lovely but some other members of the bar staff were quite rude and followed a couple of us when we went to the toilet to make sure we hadn't left! Was all fine however 2 of us, who had the chicken kebab (only ones who had meat in our meal) woke up the next day so unwell, really sick and really bad stomach pains and all we can put it down to is that meal we'd ate as we hadn't had anything else and the other girls are fine. Wouldn’t come here again.

A lovely relaxing atmosphere. Food was excellent. Great service. Reasonably priced. Our only criticism was that the air conditioning was a tad too cold. Would we go again? Most definitely.

Food was really good. The only downside was one of the chicken wings was undercooked but the staff couldn’t have been more apologetic and gave us a free cocktail and desert. The biscoff cheesecake is the best cheesecake I have eaten in a LONG time if not ever. Excellent service and atmosphere.

Was initially quite impressed as the place looks lovely. My friend was treating me to the Bottomless brunch we chose the prosseco which was pretty rotten also asked for a strawberry as felt no attention to detail was there..the waiter said no problem & stuck one on each of our glasses with his dirty hands..ordered food but one of our dishes was missing the chicken so asked for both meals to sent back as I didn't want to eat on ny own ..meanwhile we ordered 2 cocktails & although the bar person seemed to have nothing to do these never arrived ..cutlery was dumped on the table...I could go on..decided at this point it could only get worse & we decided to leave so can't comment on food but service appalling will not be back.

Absolutely divine!!! There was a staff member called Kim, who went above and beyond for us. Made us feel extremely comfortable and assisted everything we wanted as the fussy customer I am with food.

Me and my husband. Whent to this lovely place .yesterday 8 July 20 24 .the food is outstanding. And so delicious. And the service .was absolutely fabulous. The young lad there is amazing. Booked here for a table of 10 for a 60th birthday meal on a Sunday afternoon. The night before I took a cake, balloons which were already blown up in a bin bag, banners and cello tape to ensure a fuss was made of the birthday girl. We arrived and there were no balloons or banners up and we were with the birthday girl, we asked for them and decorated ourselves. We were seating and had booked and paid deposits for the bottomless brunch. We instantly noticed that service was slow. The venue wasn’t too busy at this point but it got busier as the time went by. Bottomless brunch only included about 4 cocktails we had daiquiris, Prosecco, beer and pornstar Martini I think it was. Took a bit of time to get the drinks going and as it started to busy up you could see they needed more staff. Food wise some of us had chicken kebabs and some had Lamb kebab. Some weren’t impressed with the food but I enjoyed what I had. Long story short, I ended up taking my sister to A and E on the Wednesday, she was sick as a dog, she waited hours in A and E and was in so much pain she was on IV pain relief. She had to do a sample in the hospital and a few days later she was still really sick and got a call from the doctor in A and E and was told she had a severe case of food poisoning ( can’t remember the name) . She was asked if she had eaten out anywhere and in particular had eaten chicken. The only place she had been to differently was this restaurant. She still now 2 weeks on is having pain in her tummy. Turns out 3 of the other girls in our party had also had the same thing but not as severe for them, seemed more like a 24-48 hour thing for them. Apparently this food poisoning has an incubation period of 48 hours and seemed about the right timeline the doctor said.

Thought we would try here for a change especially after scouse ghetto gourmet and all the Instagram posts. This restaurant is more style over substance, the food is just ok nothing special,but more expensive than akasya on bold street as a comparison it's streets ahead, service was very slow. Toilets not great either, they had an unclean smell wouldn't go back or recommend. Doesn't match up to the social media posts. Disappointing.

What a lovely place this is, the staff are really friendly & the food is delicious, this was our second visit over the last week and both times the food & service were spot on.

Visited on 1st July for 3 course meal. Ordered kebab combos and cheese cake for dessert! Food presentation was amazing! And the taste matched! Well worth it. Top class customer service from a small blonde girl. Will definitely be returning! You will NOT be disappointed!!.

Tried this place for my birthday dinner! Ordered the mixed platter for 2 which had lamb chops, ribs, chicken, kofta etc, great portions and the meats were all well seasoned and well cooked! Moist and tender, nicely charred! Came with bread, fries, salad and rice! Good enough for 2 people if you are really hungry! Even 3 people could share this! Biscoff cheesecake was also nice! They have a lovely ambience and decor!

Went here yesterday for a birthday. Our waitress Kim was amazing! Food was unreal, lovely atmosphere and brill deals! Will 100% be going back very soon.

Had dinner for two, the food was excellent but! there's always a but, the menu said the seafood dish would come with a scallop placed on top, it didn't, so we asked why the staff were really good offered to replace the whole meal but we declined the offer, not a big deal, but then told the chef had chopped the one (as per the menu 1) scallop into the meal, but it hadn't, and that was the disappointing bit. The food is worth 5 starts, just deliver what it says on the menu or tell it as it is.

Booked dinner with small kids. Unfortunately Large piece of broken glass on the table in front of our baby from the night before which I had to hand to the waiter. Clearly a rowdy place as there were a couple of tables of bachelorettes well pissed at 5 pm. Music pretty loud. Food was ok. Waiters were nice.

Great food and great atmosphere,

A hidden gem, having visited several times I cannot fault this restaurant. The decor is stylish, this includes the rest rooms (I never thought I'd ever use the phrase "Gid you see the taps?") and the whole place is spotless. The staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient, making every effort to place one at ease and assist in any way they can. Excellent selection of drinks (though if pushed there a couple of wines I would add to the list) and the draught beers are served perfectly, try the Moretti; you'll see what I mean. Food quality is outstanding. Even the basics are very good indeed, bread is light and fluff yet tasty. The rice is so good my brother (from Nepal) asked how it was cooked, one of the chefs came to the table and explained. Meats are marinated well and cooked to perfection, Vegetables are fresh and crispy in the salads and cooked are delicious. Finally, price....a lot less than I was expecting, certainly much better value than many "high end" establishments without compromising on quality. Ideal for business meetings, casual dining and special occasions.

Lovely place to sit and enjoy drinks and food

We visited for lunch, 4 adults and a toddler. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter who was engaging and attentive. We ordered 2 club sandwiches, a cheeseburger for the toddler and a halloumi pizza and sweet potato fries to share between two. Within 5 minutes the waiter came to tell us they couldn’t do the club sandwiches as they had no bread except for Turkish bread. This was no problem and new choices were made of a chicken burger and Caesar salad. A few more minutes passed and the waiter was back again to let us know they couldn’t do bacon as the kitchen has become halal. We were ok with that but thought it strange the menu had not reflected this. Another 5 minutes went by and the waiter was back again to explain they did not have sweet potatoes, so we ordered fries. Within a few minutes all our meals arrived and we were served hand cut chips instead of the fries, we were told we wouldn’t be charged for them given the issues with the menu which was a generous gesture. We must admit the food was good with the exception of the Caesar salad which lacked not only bacon as explained, but also had no Parmesan. We felt so sorry for the waiter who did an excellent job under embarrassing circumstances !

Write open while it is closed from morning to evening, on top of that it is no longer Pier Eigt but another name. A waste of time !

Had an amazing night here last night. Nine of of us for our Xmas night out. We ordered from the Xmas menu and we were not disappointed. Food was gorgeous and the atmosphere great. Staff are warm and friendly . We enjoyed it that much, we will be booking Xmas day here for next year . The menu had something for everyone . We love this place !

Went here last night for a Christmas meal with the girls and it did not disappoint. Amazing food (highly recommend the calamari and kofta kebab) and staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere and a great way to get into the festive spirit! Will be back.

Food was fantastic as always and very reasonably priced. One of the younger staff on the bar was pretty rude about removing the deposit we had already paid from the bill, but other staff whonwere clearly morr senior amd more professional sorted this out quickly. The restaurant was quite busy and our group were struggling to hear eachother over the music at times. Great vibe for the bar area but just too loud for the restaurant. Will definitely be back though as the food was so good.

It is one of the best restaurants I have ever tried. The meat and chicken were cooked perfectly. I recommend the mixed one for two people. You will never regret it. Omid and the staff are very nice and welcoming.

We visited pier 8 as a group of friends. Yesterday. We went on a Wowcher deal and can only say it was very very good value!! Although the restaurant was empty when we went in and was a little bit worrying, we should not have worried as the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were so helpful and friendly, telling us what we could and couldn't have or what we would need to pay extra for. One of our friends. Wasn't sure whether she could make it or not, so they were quite happy for us to order it for her and eat it ourselves if she didn't arrive. The glasses of wine that were included in the deal with substantial and delicious. The starter of a hot meze was absolutely huge and everything on it divine and hot. For main meals, we had sea bass saved on garlic potatoes, and chicken kebabs with rice and salad and Adana kebab, all of which were delicious. Our friend did not arrive and so we asked the waiter to box up the Adana kebab and take it home. Throughout the male we were asked how our food was, and looked after well. It was a brilliant value wowcher deal, and it is such a shame that it finishes on the 27th of November, as I would most definitely have used one again.... Great food, lovely decor and wonderful staff....

Booked a table by telephone a few days ago. Arrived to be told there was a private birthday party and we didn’t have a booking. Assured them that we had callers but was told they they didn’t know who we could have spoken to as nothing in diary. We had invested in a taxi from the Wirral so not best impressed. Offered us to come back next day for a complimentary drink. We had other plans but would have declined anyway. We left the restaurant. Disappointing!

what an interesting place ,all the items are freshly made to there maybe a bit of a wait but well worth it. we both opted for the steak sandwich which came with a loads of chips. steak was very tender and tastily highly recommended

The food here is absolutely amazing we had the hot mezze for 2 starters Everything was delicious and the portion size was generous. My wife had the steak which was cooked to perfection . The Iskander however is one of the tastiest things I have ever eaten .. Iv'e tried this at 2 other restaurants but this was by far the best I've had .

A bit hidden but well worth looking for. The food and drinks are delicious and very reasonable priced. The waitress is attentive but not overly so and the decor and ambiance, very welcoming and calming. Definitely recommend for a night out or a special occasion.

I was in pier eight on Saturday for food and drinks. The place is absolutely fantastic the food was amazing fresh off the charcoal BBQ. Service was exceptional. The place was so busy but we was still made to feel so welcome by all staff...

We booked this for bottomless bunch and it was terrible, especially the service. We were walked to the table and Sat there for at least 15minutes before we had to ask for a menu. A bigger group came in after us and got served immediately....

Omid and his team were very friendly, gave excellent service and the food was sublime. We went in as customers and I believe we came out as friends. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Liverpool I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant. If we lived closer we would be regulars.

Visited here today for a friend's birthday treat, I bought it on a Wowcher offer so wasn't expecting a lot, boy was I wrong, the meal was spot on, we chose to have a starter and main but the starter was MASSIVE so we should have ordered that and a sweet, staff were lovely, very attentive and friendly, would definitely recommend.

I recently dined at Pier Eight in Liverpool, and I must say, the burger was amazing! The service was top-notch too. The juicy, flavorful burger was cooked to perfection, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The ambiance by the waterfront added to the overall delightful experience. Great decor, well made cocktails, delicious food, attentive service.The mixed grill of chicken and lamb skewers was excellent with lamb succulent and tasty. 3 mezze dishes plenty for main course.
