Excellent attentive staff, delicious food, reasonably priced. Really enjoyed it and will be our new default Italian restaurant!

Absolutely fantastic, had a goats cheese as a starter and a fillet steak cooked medium rare & a delicious tiramisu. Came with my pals, extremely fast service i have to say i was really impressed with the standard and general quality of the food there was. Have to mention however there seems to be a young man there he's absolutely terrific, very direct and always first to serve our table, great chap he was, however would recommend to others, i will 100% be back soon. Thank you pinocchio restaurant.

Food was perfect, portion sizes were great, service was absolutely spot on and all food was brought out fast, and fresh, the service especially the nice young man that served us made the experience a lot better, will definitely be returning.

The food was very fresh and amazing. Young lad served us, as soon as we walked in he seated us. He took our drinks order and served them instantly. Upon taking our food order he also gave us his recommendations which was lovely. The food came out really quick with staff checking on us making sure the food was okay and if we needed anything else. The dessert was enjoyable although we were practically already stuffed from the starters and mains. The presentation of the food is really amazing itself. Pinocchio’s has the friendliest staff, definitely the best Italian restaurant and is absolutely worth going, will definitely be returning.

Had a table for 4 booked for Friday night. We have eaten here a number of times in the last year. This time we wee seated upstairs. My initial disappointment was unfounded as service was spot on. Food was tasty, I can’t fault the quality, my one moan is that portions are quite small. I had monk Fish and prawns, not for the first time. It’s served with 3 orange segment size bits of potato and a tiny bit of veg. Had i not had a bit of garlic bread starter id have left hungry. Please just put a bit more “ roast potato” then 3 orange segment size piece with the dishes. £160 bill so don’t want to leave felling still hungry.

Amazing restaurant. Great service, food and ambience, cannot fault it in any way.

Outstanding in every way - I had an excellent meal (mussels, followed by pizza) here a few nights ago while visiting the UK. I shall be back, whenever I can!

A gem! There are so many superlatives you could use, but let's get straight to the point here, it's just a great place. The food is superb, the service is equally as good and pricing is what you'd expect of a good Italian. Yes it's Ashton and they're charging Manchester prices, but you know what? Who cares when the food is of this quality? Genuinely one of the best Italian eateries around.

Welcome was excellent, seeing other diners food made me realise it was going to be good. The menu was wide but not too extensive to make choice difficult. The wine list was wonderfully Italian with a wide range of regional choice. Atmospheric place and service with a smile and brio !

This place is Mega. Always made to feel welcome. Top Notch food everytime & fantastic for the price. This is probably my favourite Italian restaurant & It's definitely the best in Tameside. No doubt what so ever.

We have been to Pinocchio’s a number of times . Each time the food, service and overall experience has been fantastic. I felt compelled to write this review having been to San Carlo in Manchester and Pinocchios in the space of a week. I can honestly say Pinocchios beat San Carlo hands down. The food, service and value for money is first class.

We always have a warm welcome when we visit and it never lets us down. They have a good early evening menu Monday to Thursday and a wide selection of Italian wines; we are particularly partial to Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore. It's usually busy though, so be sure to book!

Can’t comment on food but we were not impressed. We booked a table for three for a 21st birthday meal at 6.45 on a Thursday night and well over a week in advance. We turned up just as two “regulars” walked in before us and I held the door open for them and let them enter first. Restaurant was busy with two 4 seat tables and a rubbish 5 seat round table near the bar/in the corridor available only and lo and behold the two regulars were given one 4 seat table in the window and the waiter then tried to seat us in the walkway area. When I questioned this and asked why the two regulars who had taken the table for four or the other decent table I was given a load of crap about those being booked for four and not available, (this with most of the four seat tables with two people sat on them), and despite complaining that we had booked well in advance we were simply not listened to and stonewalled so we walked out. My advice is don’t bother booking for a special occasion, just turn up as it seems they just give tables away to walk ins but be aware they put regulars first. Spoiled the day and sons 21st tbh.

Our absolutely favourite restaurant in England! Visited again tonight. So sad you are about 30miles from us. Wish you would open a restaurant in Nantwich! We love those little extras you provide as well as delicious meals that many restaurants in England have forgotten like checking glasses are not empty and pouring the wine as the glasful goes down, and of course giving the customer a little limoncello at the end of the meal. Those are the little things we love. Keep it up and we will be back again.

Brilliant revisit after 15 years, when performing at tameside hippodrome and guide bridge, I used to have a meal here before or after show. It has grown and is so gorgeous and splendid setting. Lovely food, delicious service, so cared about us, cannot wait to come back again

Three of us dined yesterday. We asked for a 40 minute break between our starters and mains. Told no problem by the head waiter and just to ask when we wanted our meal preparing. The food turned up after 20 minutes. Seems our table had asked for the mains. No we had not. The head waiter brought the food, I told him "this is a surprise" he said it was to him also. No apology. Our friends sea bass was dry and overdone, my Steak Diane was not hot enough. The fillet steak rossini was well done when the order had been for medium rare. My husband complained and the waiter asked him to check the middle?? What for? It was overdone. A new meal arrived but my husband ate alone as we had finished ours. We were charged half price for the fillet steak but that wasn't the point. The food had been prepared deliberately early because the restaurant didn't want to stay open after 10 p.m. Simple. We won't be returning.

I went with a friend, it was the first time I have been there, the service was excellent, the people nice and courteous, the food was delicious 😋. I would recommend it to anyone. My friend paid the bill so I couldn't say how much it cost. It was however a lovely treat.

Just a perfect meal, amazing attentive staff, nothing too much trouble and the food was gorgeous. Very busy when we visited on a Friday night. I had the Chicken Papadelle with Pine nuts and brandy, superb 👌🏻, all our meals were just spot on. Would recommend to anyone who wants to eat classy Italian food served by professional and attentive staff.

Absolutely top-drawer. The staff and chefs at Pinocchio never fail to impress whenever we visit. We were here for my wife’s birthday meal, the restaurant was quite busy for a Monday night, and we were given a good table near the window downstairs. We all had Calamari to start which was lovely, and the mains were fantastic too. I opted for the Rack of Lamb off the specials board which was delicious, my daughter had the Gamberoni, in which the king prawns were cooked to perfection, and my wife had Monkfish, which she loved. The staff are always pleasant and attentive and we always leave here saying how nice it was. Good to see a local independent Italian restaurant doing so well.

I had my surprise 30th yesterday well what can I say. Rude manager, rude staff made us all feel uncomfortable. I would never return again. staff need training on customer service management is poor. very disappointing

Celebrating our grandson's 12th birthday and our son's new job. Great food and good value. The only minus was a 30th birthday party who behaved like idiots and will probably leave a bad review as they left early but this is no reflection on the restaurant.

Went for a birthday meal for the first time after many recommendations. Everything was amazing - service and food was five star. Only issue was a group who were loud and rude. The owner eventually asked them to leave. Wasn't his fault and didn't put me off. They can't help how other people act. Definitely recommend and the ribs and fillet steak were unreal!! Complentriy desert for my son due to his birthday

I had a rib eye steak in tomato based sauce to die for. Was off the specials menu, which is a shame

Second visit. We had a great time, staff are friendly and service is fast and efficient given how busy it is. The food is delicious. The garlic bread pizza starters are a must. For mains we had monkfish and fillet Dolcelatte both delicious. Tiramasu desserts were big portions. Next time we will share one. This is our new fav place.

This is about the 4th-5th time I’ve been here, never once had a bad experience, on arriving I’m always greeted with smiles and hellos, service is extremely good, a relaxed yet professional service, the drinks are always fantastic. I’ve eaten a different meal each time I visited, from pasta/ pizza to steaks, and every time I’ve enjoyed the meal so much, myself and my partner the same. You get the feeling that it’s a family run business that care about giving great customer service and delicious food and drinks,

The food is amazing and as a group we have been here several times. However on the last few occasions we have found the staff upstairs to be rude, bossy and hurried. One waitress in particular is very forceful and brusque in her manner. So as a group we have decided it's time to go elsewhere. We will miss the food but not the rude upstairs staff.

Had a fantastic Sirloin steak in peppercorn sauce, cooked to perfection. Starter was also delicious, home made potato and leek soup . This was about our 4th visit, never displappoints each time , we will certainly be returning.

Excellent... yummy. Classy. Italian... we pass by during a trip to Manchester and was highly surprised. We were actually lucky to have place. Sadly we live pretty far but if you live or pass by manchester and/or around. Don't miss this place. Highly recommend 👌

First visit, but really impressed.

New Years Eve - we had an excellent meal and the service was brilliant. We had various starters including mussels, meat balls & soup (we made a mistake and didn't realise the mussels were cooked with chilli which mum can't eat but we were very pleased that the dish was replaced with one cooked without chilli with no fuss and speedily served). We had the fillet steaks and sea bass, all cooked perfectly to everyone's request and finished off with wonderful sweets and can highly recommend the tiramisu and creme brulee. Even though it was very busy the service was great and welcoming. We weren't rushed when we asked for a break. All in all a 5 star experience and the very best start to our New Years Eve celebrations - thanks to all the staff and chefs, your efforts were very much appreciated.

The best Italian food in Manchester! We have been going to this amazing restaurant for years now and the food is excellent. The staff are so kind and welcoming and the service is impeccable. No waiting for drinks or food and they go above and beyond to make everything your evening special. Even when we go as a large group we always get served at the same time, We have meat eaters and vegans in our family and the separate vegan menu is fantastic, you don't feel like an afterthought which is nice. I believe the steaks are to die for! If you want gorgeous food at a very reasonable price then I highly recommend them. I haven't found any restaurant in the whole of Manchester that serves more delicious food!

Okay food, nice atmosphere. The only complaint is that they didn't brulé my creme brulé. It had lots of crunchy sugar on top but was not heated to form a sugar crust, which is the point of a brulé.🙃
