PipsDish in Hackney

We went for a Sunday roast in the upstairs dining room. The food is quite decent. Unfortunately the experience is let-down by the FoH staff - no one seems particularly happy to be there and our waitress had a real attitude problem. I will not return.

Discovered this little gem whilst on a trip to London. Light and airy with a contemporary decor and friendly atmosphere. Excellent menu - perfect for lunch - the food is all freshly prepared and cooked to a very high standard. Very reasonable prices too! They also cater for functions so would be ideal for this. I'll be back next time I'm in London to try sample more from the menu. Decent wine for me and good range of beers for my husband.

It is probably not easy to find poutine in London but after eating poutine in Montreal do not expect this to be like the original. It is a good version and tasty but not as good as the canadian one!

Clearly understaffed, although there were only about 6 people in the restaurant, still managed to take 30 mins just to produce 2 cokes… waited 45 mins for food before giving up.

My daughter and I come here every other weekend and we never get bored. It’s always great service and the prices are very reasonable
