Pircio Restaurant in East Hertfordshire

The atmosphere was fantastic. Staff were very attentive and the food was absolutely amazing the Pircio burger was fantastic. For 6 of us it was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back

What an amazing place, a nice number of people in there on a Wednesday lunchtime. which, in my mind, is always a good start. The staff were friendly, efficient, and provided first-class service. The food was amazing. My party of three had the lunchtime 2 course menu for £17.95 and the portion size was just the right amount. The decor is brilliant to look at, beautiful lamps, various statues. They have hit the right amount of eclectic style while still maintaining elegance. The seating was comfortable, and the toilets were spotless. Would throughly recommend, and I will be going back.

Went in for dinner by myself, unusual combination of Turkish and Italian menus in a very unique environment. Service is very good and can recommend the pida and bakalava, chips were a bit disappointing but would definitely recommend.

Great food, good service as always

I've been here several times now, and always enjoy my visit. The place is lively and busy but they have loads of efficient and friendly staff so service is always fast and the food is always fresh and delicious. The lamb kofte is my favourite, but I've also had good pizza here. Today I also had dessert, and particularly enjoyed the chocolate fudge cake with icecream, despite being incredibly full from my main!

What an absolute joke. If you are looking for somewhere with great food and good service, this DEFINITELY IS NOT THE PLACE. When we arrived they had completely messed up our reservation, they had no record of it, even though I had called twice to confirm. They stuck us an a small table that was completely useless, the service was shocking, the people that run this place are so rude and dismissive that it’s actually laughable. The place was packed full of 18-25 year olds so I guess they can afford to get away with being rude and offering terrible service, you can clearly tell they don’t really care what the customer thinks.

Very nice the steak is amazing and they are nice the service is good and if it's your birthday they put a hat on you and sing a song . Decoration lovely the inside is warm .

2 full menus on offer at Pircio, Italian and Turkish, although I assume their focus in Turkish and that's what they should stick to. I ordered a pizza and it was probably 2/5 but everyone else's food looked to be much nicer (they all ordered shish). The baklava was outstanding, not overly sweet and a good size.

Food is fantastic, both Italian & Turkish, atmosphere is always great vibes. Service is always great, super friendly staff. Cocktails are great too. Great places to go for occasions, dates, that kinda thing.

Beautiful fusion restaurant is didn't know we needed, turkish and Italian food served in a great building. Food is cooked fresh and fast. Great for groups at it's quite lively so not so great for an intimate dinner for 2 I would say.

I called yesterday to book a table reservation. I made the booking, but today the manager called me from a private number. It is not good manners to call from a private number. This is unacceptable behavior for a restaurant; you need to show respect.

You feel welcome the moment you stepped into the restaurant. Service was quick and excellent. Servers was really attentive and friendly, they kept checking in on us to see if we are happy with the food. There’s 2 sets of menu to choose from, between Italian and Turkish. We ordered Italian and food came within 5 - 8 mins. Serving was generous even for kids meal. I’m positive we will be back

A cool restaurant with delicious Turkish food and kind staff. We went there as a huge group with kids (34 people in total). I tasted lahmacun, pide, etli sarma beyti, chicken shish, liver, and ottoman kadayif. All of those were above average and delicious. I found only the "Old Fashioned" cocktail below average, it could be a bit stronger. The average main dish price is £15-25, average starters price is £5-10. Beers are around £5. Just keep in mind that the restaurant doesn't have a car park. There are some paid car parks nearby.

Beautiful restaurant. It gets incredibly busy. Food is average but it’s a solid compromise for large groups. There are steps into the restaurant. There was a foldable ramp but this wasn’t in use. The staff were really nice and proactive - helping to lift the buggy without being asked.

Pircio was an unforgettable experience! The chicken sheesh was the best I’ve ever had, and everything else, including the chocolate fudge cake, was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the personal happy birthday singing made the evening extra special. Highly recommend!

This is the third time we’ve been back now - what a great place! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great but what makes this place is the staff. We were lucky enough to be served by Lucas last night and what a great asset he is to the team. He remembered who ordered what dish, nothing was too much hassle, he questioned a drink choice when a different beer was asked for in error so thanks to him we got the right drink and he even wished us a nice holiday when we left that we mentioned once not long after we sat down. Super impressed and cannot wait to come back. Thank you.

The Italian food in this restaurant is mediocre but the Turkish food looked brilliant. If I return, I’ll try that part of the menu!

First time visiting area and food was very good.

Popped in for dinner and fortunately was quite quiet. Service was good and very attentive. Food was excellent opted for the mixed grill x2 which could probably feed 4 people. Price i think is fair for quality and quantity. Also was given complimentary Turkish delight and brakhavk as well as Turkish tea. Would definitely go back again, maybe order less next time as not a fan of wasting food.

Good food good service good atmosphere. The only thing I don't like is the service charge added automatically to the final bill. I like to pay what I believe is fair. If the food was rubbish, I'd be pretty peed to leave a tip if the meal didn't warrant it. Lucky for me, the food was great. I know I don't have to pay, but I wouldn't embarrass myself or my family.. However, it was a nice evening, thank you.

This is a fantastic restaurant. The food is excellent; so much to choose from either side of the menu (one side Turkish, the other Italian). The staff are very professional welcoming, and the service is so fast. We were surprised how quickly drinks and food came! I'd recommend booking a table, as it seems to be a popular place. I used to love Pircio and it's great if you want a cheesy night out with the singing birthday and hat that get passed around but the food really isn't that great. I have eaten here a few times and I'm not blown away, there are so many lovely places to eat in town!

A stunning venue with great food and friendly, attentive waiting staff. My son has allergies and the waiter was very cautious in checking with the kitchen ahead of ordering and explaining potential allergens. Will be back again!

Great atmosphere and great service

The place is stunning, unfortunately too many Happy Birthday singing were going on. Service was professional and friendly. The food could be a bit better. Starter plate was pretty good, but lamb beyti so so. Small portions and meat were a bit chewy. Not bad, but not perfect. Sorry.

We were in Pircio yesterday evening. Really buzzing. Food was excellent. Lukas was very attentive and efficient. We were passing through otherwise we would definitely be back.

Beautiful setting, both inside and out. Plenty of parking within a short walking distance. Huge menu selection - mainly Italian and Turkish. The portion sizes were good and the food was OK, but a tad overpriced. The kids menu options would be better if they included some veg. Skewered chicken was very dry. A bit of quiet, backround music would have helped improve the atmosphere outside. Far too many staff for the number of customers on the day, yet the service was still questionable, unfortunately. The wine was served with cork floating in it. One of the dishes we ordered should have been "on a bed of tiny fried potatoes", but just came with chips. Nobody asked if our meal was OK or if we needed anything else after serving us. 12.5% service charge automatically added to the bill - always find that a bit presumptuous/cheeky, especially when the service wasn't great. Overall, 3 out of 5 at best. Could be a really great place with a few tweaks. Maybe we just got a bit unlucky on the day.

Another amazing evening at Pircio. All very attentive staff, great service. Food was amazing as always. I can't rate it highly enough. Look forward to our next visit.

The service was really excellent. The food was really really good too. The pina colada was very well made with cream which meant it wasn't watery. Even though it was busy it still seemed private where we were sitting. The fudge chocolate cake reminded me of Bruce in Matilda and it tasted great.

The restaurant definitively has a bulletproof reputation of friendliness, high quality food and speed of service, even in busy days. Fantastic the choreography for birthdays. But at high prices, including the 12.5% service charge. Very impressed with the Full Meze, much less with the Cottage Kebab. Next time I will explore other alternatives in Bishops Stortford.

Used to be a really slick place. Food is a bit bland now. It gets very noisy on weekends with lots of birthdays. Service has gone downhill (and they try to charge you for it regardless of your experience). Had a waiter take the wrong drinks order, got told it was my fault, eventually got a replacement drink but it was the same original drink in a different glass 🤯. The Hertford sister restaurant is a better experience currently.

I love Pircio and went there to celebrate my 60th with friends and family. Great Mediterranean and Turkish food, great service and great atmosphere. Be prepared to wear the Birthday hat 🤣🤣🤣

Supposed to be Italian, turned out to be a Turkish Restaurant with Turkish Chef’s??? Why call it an Italian then? Food was awful. I would avoid at all cost, unless you’re happy to chew on rubbish and spend £40+

I came here with 2 friends, we hadn't booked but the staff said no problem and gave us a table outside as they were busy so no tables inside at the time. The menu has plenty of choice, and they also have a vegan and vegetarian menu which I was really pleased about as a vegan. I was interested to try the vegan Turkish boat pide as I hadn't heard of this before, it was very tasty, containing what appears to be vegan cream cheese and accompanied with a side salad. I had the vegan platter alongside this which included 2 falafels, hummus, stuffed vine leaves, olives and a selection of salad/veggies in tomato sauce and a basket of bread. I definitely ordered to much as just one platter/pide would have been enough. The service was fantastic with staff regularly checking in to ensure the food was good. Would recommend!
