Lovely little quaint site. Nice atmosphere, very warming and welcoming. Team are great and very helpful. I came here with the wife over the weekend and we can both confidently say I will be returning. What’s even better is we saved a little on our bill as we are both Odeon Limitless members as we could use our 25% off! Absolutely smashing!!

We went to Pizza Express as part of a family celebration. Overall the food was very good and the service excellent considering how busy it was. There were some issues at the end with not being able to make a payment by card as the systems had gone down. We had to walk to the local petrol station in the end to withdraw cash. The young staff dealt with it very well but it would have been a positive if the Manager had come to speak to us personally to apologise for this issue and perhaps offer a drink or desert as a acknowledgement for the extra time and inconvenience caused. Hence one star deducted for that. Otherwise a nice evening and well done to the young staff there dealing with the payment issues!

I've been eating at Pizza Express since the early 70s which says a lot about their consistency. The meal my family enjoyed recently was a standout experience because of the staff. Five stars all round.

We had an incredible experience at Pizza Express last night—both the food and service were top-notch. Our server, Pablo, was outstanding—friendly, funny, and truly genuine. He always came back to our table with a huge smile and a determined attitude. He made our evening memorable! Keep up the great work, Pablo!

Went for dinner here tonight and the food and waitress serving us where both fantastic. However… who I’m guessing was the manager needs to learn some decorum. There was clearly an issue between her and the woman serving us. Of course I can not know what this issue was and bad days at work happen. Yet the way this was dealt with was simply uncomfortable. The girl was being clealry told off several times and other staff and the manager where actively sniggering at the poor girl when the server walked off to complete the tasks she was set. Not very mature and certainly not good customer service. I would not visit again after such a childish display.

The Hampton Court restaurant has lost its sparkle although the food was excellent and service good. Very very expensive though. Not many people in the restaurant. Pizza Express not what it used to be

Very exspensive for a bit of dough

We didn't eat in here but stopped to order a couple of pizzas to take away. The waiting staff were very helpful and advised us what we could /couldn't order as well as taking our order quickly. I had a gluten free base, and unlike the pizza express Esher gluten free, this base was very thin, soggy and overall didnt taste very good at all. Ive had way better at other pizza restaurants. If youre after gluten free, Im not sure this is the best option

Horrendous customer service. Ordered from deliveroo. Food was stone cold and was advised to call the restaurant. Upon calling I was spoken to in a very rude manner and was hung up on twice before they began ignoring me completely. Horrendous service, spend your money elsewhere.

AVOID. This place advertises one menu In the window and then charges another amount once you pay. When I spoke to the manager, a lady with short dark hair, she just shifted blame to another manager who “must have forgotten to change the menu”. And brushed it off. I’ve worked In the service industry and this was not a good way to deal with it.

We’d booked a Pizza Party for next week at the Surbiton branch for our daughter’s 14th. All the invites were sent out but when I called just to reconfirm the numbers, I was told the booking didn’t exist! Scrambling now, I called other nearby branches but it was the lady whom I spoke with at the Hampton Court branch who told me it might be possible to fit us in. She promised to call back the next day, which they did, to tell us they would indeed be able to host. In my blind panic last night, I’d already made alternate plans so I was sorted by this morning. However I have to say, I was really impressed with, and grateful to, Hampton Court branch for actually getting back to me as promised and offering to help. So diligent, professional and courteous. To Sam and the other lady I spoke with yesterday (sorry, I didn’t get her name) I say: thank you so much. You reflect very highly on your employer and the brand.

A decent Pizza express, in need of a spruce up and the toilets could certainly do with a refresh. Staff friendly and helpful. Food for my friend with an allergy was prepared well and overall a fine experience.

1st visit to this location. Nice venue, friendly staff, but very slow service. Pizzas took over 25mins to come out, wasn't that busy either. Will still try this venue again in the near future, but service needs to speed up.

AVOID THIS BRANCH. Despite the food being nice the staff were very unhelpful while Simon the manager was notably hostile when we tried to apply vouchers from the pizza express app. Flat out denying to add certain ones to the bill so that we ended up having to spend far more than expected. Definitely won't be returning.

We had an exceptional experience at Pizza Express in Hampton Court. Cancel your trip to the National Science Museum and go here instead. Fehmida made sure everything went along smoothly. After all, humps and hitches are for camels, not Pizza Express.

Latest visit feedback: I recently visited Pizza Express in Hampton Court for a quick meal to eat on-site and to grab takeaways for my kids. Unfortunately, it was a letdown. The manager initially refused to allow me to order a kids meal for takeaway without a child, even though collection was permitted. After some discussion, the order was finally placed, including two kids meals and classic dough balls with garlic butter. Upon returning home, we discovered that the garlic butter was missing from both the classic dough balls and the kids meal. Additionally, the brownies that were supposed to be part of the kids meal were not packed. This oversight left my kids disappointed. When I called the restaurant to address the issue, the staff member was unhelpful and refused to offer a solution, even declining to deliver the missing items. The lady I spoke to asked me to collect the missing items myself, which wasn’t possible for me. What added to the disappointment was the complete lack of acknowledgment or apology for the mistake. The staff member was not only unhelpful but also rude in her response. This experience has made me question my decision to continue patronizing the Hampton Court branch of Pizza Express. It’s unclear whether this disappointment is due to staff or management changes, but the absence of accountability has certainly impacted my perception of a once-favorite spot. Old review: I had an exceptional dining experience at PizzaExpress Hampton Court. Notably, James and Beejal provided outstanding service, showcasing their warmth and friendliness throughout our meal. We indulged in a delicious spread, including the classic dough balls, flavorful bruschetta, and the delightful Gardeneria pizza from the Piccolo menu. To complement the meal, we savored the refreshing Strawberry Sicilian Lemonade, which quickly became a favorite for my child. After ice skating we had a birthday meal for 10 people. We were sat at the back of the restaurant which was nice as we didn't have to worry about being a bit noisy. Service was great and dietary needs were catered for really well without feeling like an inconvenience. Overall a lovely evening.

Very poor quality food - Bosco salad using rotten salad leaf and Pollo pesto was overcooked hard pasta In melted cheese with no taste of pesto at all.

We had a family dinner there for my birthday and the staff were amazing, very welcoming and friendly. Sadly my daughter felt unwell during the meal and they boxed up her food and made sure we got the bill promptly. Food was great too

Where do I start? Probably the worst experience I’ve ever gone through in my entire life regarding food and general common sense and manners. Me and my family had a stroll along the river, and we thought we’d stop and grab a bite to eat, this was a massive mistake. The service was appalling. Well was there any service I don’t think so, when I asked for anything,they never came back to tell me they didn’t have it all they did have it. I could go on and on regarding everything, let’s just keep it short and sweet, the worst place in Hampton Court by far avoid this place by any cost and if you’re hungry just go to the petrol station Marks & Spencer’s it’s literally 50 m away from the train station and grab a sandwich. It’s more value for money. I had to even say bye to myself when I left. one good thing tho… it was pretty empty so I think a lot of people have got the heads up

Really impressive service this week. We were greeted by a very friendly lady, taken to our table, given water and were made to feel really welcome, like a 5* hotel. She even made the effort to come over and say her shift was finishing so she was handing us over to someone else. Overall an excellent experience.

I ordered 5 pizzas for collection, and was given a collection time of 19:10. I arrived at the restaurant at 19:15 and the staff were clearly overloaded and hadn’t even started cooking my pizzas. 20 mins later I was presented with 2 pizzas. After I explained that this was not the correct order they eventually gave me the right pizzas at 19:40. The pizzas were OK, but the service chaotic and I don’t intend to go there again when there are better options in the area.

I had a takeaway as I have always had good pizzas from this chain, but at this branch, the pizza was very poor, almost inedible. Maybe I chose wrong.

Worst Pizza Express in the region. No reception, no smile, lack of service quality. What I learn over the years in food industry is wherever you go, the management changes everything and that management should first understand what a customer is really expecting, that is a warm welcoming. Please improve your service.

Disabled toilet door wide open into the main seating area. i tried to close it, but no latch, pizza came with a burnt out crust, waitress got condescending and abrupt when i mentioned it, almost got into argument about the process of pizza making, she was basically suggesting all pizza have burnt crust (black flakes of carbon/teflon stuck to the underside). Really got awkward and she finally agreed to change it. Customers shouldn't be expected to feel grateful for a replacement.

Travelled to this branch in Hampton Court due to more local ones being too busy. Considering we had not even booked, we were very pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff's attentiveness, the promptness of service and the nice table we were offered upstairs. And of course the two pizzas (Padana and Fiorentina) were very good. Thank you very much

Valentines dinner was just OK, it is something they did 25 years ago and still things have not much changed in the formula. This establishment was ok. We were upstairs which seemed unheated which is a bit weird. The food was OK, but the Canaloni had to be returned as the sauce was piping hot.... But the Canaloni itself as barely warm. Disappointed, but they did brought a new plate which was a lot better. Not my first choice of restaurant unfortunately.

Unfortunately the pizza was tough and became like cardboard as it got colder, both of us agreed. However, it was Valentine's Day and the staff were amazing: friendly, smiling, helpful and. I'd go back.

I’ve been going to this Pizza Express since 6 years or so and never let me down. Service, food, location, atmosphere is just amazing. We celebrated my mums 60th & it felt so welcoming. Starter, Main course & dessert were exceptional. While parking can a challenge but it’s under 15min from Kingston town centre where you can get straight bus or location quite close to train station.

For a small restaurant the atmosphere is nearly perfect! The only thing I would have liked to see different was for deliveroo/just eat drivers to not use the front door. As they have to walk past everybody to pick up the food. And let the cold air in! The service is great and the food just as good. You know what your getting with pizza express.

Manager is great and made a big effort to accommodate a group of six with no booking (Kudos) however the service was extremely slow ... It took almost an hour before we got our pizzas served ... Too few staff for a restaurant of this size.

Visited New Years Day with a group of 19 - enjoyed great pizzas with everyone's food served pretty much at the same time and all piping hot. We were sat upstairs and all food and drinks had to be brought up to us by our waitress - a really friendly and polite young lady (disappointed I didn't think to ask her name) who worked really hard and kept us very well fed and watered. Very efficient, nothing was too much trouble and great location close to Hampton Court Palace and the river.

Had dinner here after visiting the Light Trail at Hampton Court Palace. The service was absolutely fantastic from the moment we arrived. We had a super-friendly waitress who was attentive and engaging and checked a number of times to make sure all was ok and that we were happy with everything. Wish I'd got her name as she's an asset to the restaurant and made our evening very enjoyable.

Although it appeared to be fairly quiet and plenty of staff, we waited 15 minutes to place our order and another 40 minutes for our food. We even had to remind the waitress to bring our drinks. I ordered my salad with dressing on the side, but it had oil on it. My husbands cannelloni was 75% sauce, very little filling in the small pasta tubes. Not the greatest experience, we have eaten in much better Pizza Express restaurants than this.

Our waitress Louise was very kind and professional towards us!!!! 10/10 service!!! SHE DESERVES A RAISE!!!!!!!!!!

Great Pizza, I have had many American Hot pizzas from Pizza Express for the last 40 years, this was a good one. Super friendly service from a lovely blond lady.

Somewhat disappointing. Was very excited about the half/half pizza . . . but sadly as the rather helpful chilli signs (that are present on the on-line version of the menu) are not on the menu you are given in the restaurant). A 2 chilli sign would have had me running for the hills . . . but this is sadly what I inadvertently ordered so only half my dinner was edible. Feedback to the team at the time who sadly felt no further action was needed . . . £17.45 was really rather steep for half a pizza. The edible half was really good though but I will definitely be more reserved if I ever find myself in a Pizza Express again.

Oh dear..... What happened? It was empty when we got there this time, the service was poor, and the server really didn't seem like she wanted to be there, hardly said a word and was quite grumpy (as we're most of the staff to he fair). The new menu isn't great and they have removed some old favourites, the portions aren't as big as they used to be, and to top it all off they didn't have toppings for some of the pizzas and only 1 tiramisu....🤦‍♂️🤷🏻. It would appear that we won't be going back there in a hurry (if at all). Such a shame, some happy memories, but I guess all good thanks have to come to an end.

Interesting building, nice atmosphere, clean and tidy. Very good service. Food as great as Pizza Express standards (dough balls are really good). Handy to have lunch before getting on train - Hampton Court station is just opposite side of the road.

It's was decent. My little local pizza place from work. I had a gorgeous Caesar salad. Really well made and presented. Good service from the waiter.

Nice pizzas if not slightly overpriced unless you use a discount code or voucher. My favourite pizza chain however my only complaint with this branch are the staff are so miserable. Perhaps training needs improvement?

Second time I’ve been there with my family in the last six months, second time they’ve totally screwed up the evening. Last time the gluten-free pizza wasn’t gluten free and a family member was ill as a result. This time? Well, it wasn’t quite as bad, but still a less than great experience. Two pizzas were over cooked, one was the wrong order and one didn’t arrive at all. Out of five pizzas ordered, that’s just rubbish. Drinks orders had to be constantly chased, several of the staff members were barely intelligible - not great when you have a partially-deaf family member - and overall it was not an evening to remember, at least not in any sort of positive way. The manager was polite and charming, but his excuse for the poor service - “the staff have barely had any training” - was terrible. If you don’t have staff good enough, don’t open. Or reduce your prices. Or hire more people. Just don’t cheapen the name and further ruin the reputation of PizzaExpress.

Party of 5 on a quiet Thursday- the order for my daughter was forgotten. Everyone makes mistakes but then taking 25 minutes to serve her was unforgivable, spoke to the manager who did comp it but it would have been so much better if he had come over and apologised without being asked for.
