Pizza Express in Bexley

Two members of the team helped me sort out my menu from the app to get the 2nd Pizza for a £1.00 offer, and were both courtoeus and friendly from point of ordering and through to the payment of the bill. GF Pizza's were freshly prepared and arrived hot, with a generous amount of topping.

The first time we ordered from here was really good. Unfortunately the last two times specially tonight the food was terrible. The pizza was undercooked and very doughy! The food arrived cold. The salad dressing had leaked into the bag as the lid wasn’t inserted properly. Its sad to say that I could’ve purchased a ready made pizza and cooked it in the oven and it would’ve been better than this and would’ve cost third of the price. Really disappointing.

We had such a great experience at Pizza Express Bexleyheath! The food was absolutely delicious, with the pizzas cooked to perfection and the desserts being the perfect way to finish off the meal. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a lovely atmosphere. A special shout-out to the manager, Sarah, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel like valued customers from the moment we arrived.

I usually don't leave reviews, however I was asked to leave one by the manager. Despite the restaurant being busy, we found both the service and food to be excellent. Our dishes were served quickly and the waiters and manager were very friendly and attentive.

Hair in the butter, raw in the middle of the dough balls which did not really even look like normal dough balls, more like dough cakes and not very understanding management. Will not return

Visit here fairly often and always have a wonderful time. The servers and kitchen staff are friendly and super attentive to all my needs. The food (which is delicious!!) Comes out steaming hot and quickly each time. The atmosphere is really lovely. Highly recommended 👌

Delivery driver decided to go shops when he had our food in his car on the way here! Such bad delivery and food was stone cold! Took 50 minutes to get to us after his shopping trip yet this is normally a 10 minute drive!!

Had to wait 1.5hrs to get the food when the restaurant is 10 minute drive away and the pizza must have been left under the heatlamp for the whole time because it was dry, stale and cold once it arrived. Tried calling the restaurant many times but no-one answered. Embarrassing service.

Ordered at 6.43pm where it stated 30-45mins. Pizza arrived at 8.30pm and was stone cold. The pizza was all squished at one side of the box and was not edible. What a waste of money

Extremely disappointed. I got a basil dip when requested another,spent £7 on the chocolate cake to only get a tiny slice?! No cream/mascarpone as apparently they stopped providing this with deliveries. If this is the case, then provide a bigger slice

Cold, undercooked and tasteless (the pizzas were also very small) - so different from how Pizza Express used to be. Very disappointed.

I dont know who's fault it was, but the delivery was very late. Due to the lateness it affected the quality. I ordered goats cheese extra on my pizza but it wasn't on there.

Calamari according to Pizza Express.. I order home delivery very rarely, and Pizza Express delivered food that was just disgusting. Over £20 spent total on order, pizza was delicious i have to admit BUT calamari was from another planet, especially for the price.

the delivery time kept changing later and later, it was not hot when delivered but I was hungry so I didn't want to wait to put it in the oven so I just ate it, it was still delicious

I ordered dough balls and a Large Reine and Double American cheese pizzas. I received the Reine correctly but a Large pepperoni unplaced or the double American cheese.

Amazing atmosphere, the vegan pizza was amazing the vegan cheese melted perfectly and the spicy wings were also very good. Myles provided amazing customer service and was very attentive.

The service in this restaurant is amazing. Me and my family came here yesterday at 6pm and it was really busy. However, we quickly got attended to by a young gentleman who introduced himself as Myles. His excellent attitude and kindness allowed to enjoy our evening with no stress. I suggest whiever comes to this restaurant should always ask for Myles as he is very attentive to detail and he ensured that everything was as we wanted.

food arrived cold. poorly cut. ordered at 6pm, luckily arrived at 7.35pm. atleast the driver got it here within 10 mins from the restaurant. sad, having to leave this for Pizza Express. what happened to quality?

So we've come down from Yorkshire on vacation having lived in Bexleyheath previously. My elder brother ,son and myself visited your branch on 24th Aug (sat) We hadn't booked a reservation but on request was welcomed to the restaurant. Our server was Anita and she promptly showed us to our table and within minutes was there to ask us about our order. With experience and knowledge she guided us through the menu and suggested some items. After settling on a starter for each and a main we were then treated to exceptional service and courtesy throughout..looking after us and making sure we were good. The food was excellent and after three tasty starters we were ready for the main 3 huge pizzas laden with toppings and promptly served . Extra drinks were offered and the service was amazing throughout. After an amazing meal we then ordered 3 desserts which were exceptional..I would highly recommend this restaurant and compliment Anita for her fantastic service..The final bill came to over 100 pounds but was worth every penny. We also tipped Anita for her amazing service for which she was so grateful..an amazing meal..great staff. Definitely eat here again. Anita is an absolute credit to you. Thank you all so much for a fantastic meal.x

We had very good dining experience last night

I didn’t receive my order and it was marked delivered on the system!

Not even luke warm when it arrived, I actually laughed when I opened the box. Sparse toppings on the pizza isn’t the word, no evidence of sauce for the bbq base and the chicken was drier than a nuns nasty. Make sure you have water to hand so you can swallow your food if you choose to eat it. Mine went straight in the bin.

Thanks to the manager and his team at Pizza Express - Bexleyheath. We had organised a birthday party for 16 kids and it’s done extremely well. All the kids enjoyed the experience and the team managed the 2hr party so well.

Our son celebrated his 7th Birthday by having a Pizza Express Party at Pizza-making party in June. I cannot recommend it enough. The party host was really great with the kids and accommodating. It was truly fun. Thank you Pizza Express Bexleyheath.

Pizza was stone cold! The driver came to the house stood outside by their bike for a few minutes before leaving. They came back another 5 or so minutes later holding the pizza box without a heat retaining bag. The restaurant is not far away at all and should have been quick and easy. The driver clearly wasn’t lost as they have been before and stood outside for 5 minutes before coming back.

Sarah provided me with an excellent service, she always goes out her way in helping and is really kind. The pizza is fresh and tasty. Can’t wait to come back!

Watched the driver deliver 3 orders before mine. This meant that the food was stone cold !!!!! We paid £78 for cold food !!!!! Absolute joke

the bruscetta was much more fluffy/springy and bigger than I've had before with plenty of tomatoes and the pizza dough edge was much more fluffy than it has been and alot of fabulous toppings, best I've had in a while

We love popping in whether it's to share a pizza or having something more substantial. It always tastes good and it hits the spot.

I ordered with Uber eats 2 pizzas and a dessert. Surprisingly it took them more than hour and a half to prepare the pizzas. The pizza were freezing cold and not good quality. I paid crazy money for nothing. Avoid that place

Went to pizza express after much thought, the price of food was very expensive and did not have the experience to match the price. Firstly the waiter/host was not very inviting, had to wait for a long time before being seated. We had made reservation on the app and requested a booth , but we were denied and were asked to sit at the tables, despite booths being empty till we left. Moreover the items are expensive and less in quantity and we left hungry despite ordering for 62£ for a family of 4. Mushroom arancini was literally 4 small balls the size of marbles. The melanzane menu item had literally 6 pieces of aubergine in a bowl of tomato sauce. Pizza and Dessert was fine. Not sure why this place is so crowded despite being mediocre at best.
