Pizza Hut in West Lothian

Yesterday at 2:45 pm, the restaurant was almost empty, yet the lady at the counter refused to let us in. She asked us to wait until 3 pm. We pointed out that the restaurant was empty and asked why we couldn’t be seated immediately, but she didn’t respond. As more people arrived, she told them the same thing—that they would only be allowed in at 3 pm. The restaurant was in terrible condition. Several tables were dirty, and trash was left on some of them. At 3 pm, she finally let us in and handed us the menu. That’s when we noticed that the unlimited buffet ends at 3 pm (as indicated in the menu, see the picture). The lady’s attitude was incredibly rude, and thankfully, she didn’t serve us. We were a group of six, and we deeply regret visiting. To make matters worse, the food quality is not what it used to be. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and we won’t be returning.

It's busy, and I know it. But we were sat, told who our server would be, and advised we could order via QR code, or with our server ... but we haven't seen them yet. Ordered a while ago ... ... and as I was typing this the order finally arrived. Salad bar was mediocre... with most of the sauce sitting empty and one person trying to replenish in the middle of her other duties. I don't think I'll be coming back again. The pizza and garlic bread were fresh and as you'd expect from The Hut.

DISGRACE!!! When dinning here we were disgusted at the cleanliness of the cutlery and glasses, one glass even had lip marks. The waitress was rude to us when we asked for tap water. Then we put a pump of diluting juice in the tap water (we assumed it was free), the waitress came up to us straight away and said are you going to pay for that. We then had to pay for the diluting juice which was £2.69!!! When we barely used two pumps. We thought we were extremely over charged for it and we didn’t even know it wasn’t free because it was available right next to the tap water. The pizza was also cold and garlic bread was burnt. The music being played was at a perfect volume then abruptly turned up. Overall we were disappointed and won’t be coming back.

I love coming here quite regularly. Nice atmosphere, the staff are polite, friendly and welcoming. My one criticims is to do with a change they've made recently to the thin pan pizzas. Some green fleck, garlic oil, powder or flour I don't know has been added. Not everyone likes garlic and sometimes there is far too much added. I don't know who decides changes to the menu, why or what possessed them to think this is a good change to make. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. There was nothing wrong at all with the way the thin pan pizza dough was before for a long time. It unfortunately makes the buffet less appealing, which sucks as it's the most affordable option on the menu.

Came here late night with a friend for her birthday for dessert to takeaway and the ladies working were so lovely and friendly and made my friend feel super special for her birthday. I've always had a lovely experience in this restaurant!

Went in for a little snack at 9pm & the service ladies were absolutely fantastic. We had a lovely time & can't compliment them enough. Thanks :)

Shopping in livingston decided to eat at your pizza hut,what disapointment.took 15 mins to get food ordered. Decided on buffet salad was fine pizza took ages to eventually get 1 piece of edible pizza. My husband decided on ham and pineapple none left and what was on display we cdnt get the knife through it.chips were dissapointing tasteless. I don't think they use real cheese on the pizza. Went for ice cream, more ice than cream tasted watered down.wont be back at pizzahut

3 hours late, delivery time amended on 3 occasions and the food was stone cold

Dont know where they get the salad stuff from but it was rank, the irn bru overpriced and the pizza was absolutely rank, waitress came to table trying to sell dessert and i replied i would like to complain regarding the meal and she promptly just walked away. Imo steer clear

My food was cold and the order was incorrect. No peppers, no sweetcorn

order delivery time kept getting pushed back ...the restaurant ended up extending it to 45mins after initial delivery time. Delivery driver himself was actually very quick. onion rings cold and pizza luke warm, half the pizza missing toppings and the bottom of it looks like it was cooked on top of old cheese from previous orders. Having worked in food retail before it's almost as though their oven probably needs a very deep clean. will not order from here again. absolutely not worth waiting for.

It is not valuable I don't recommend.

Took ages to get takeaway order as I watched the staff make several desserts instead of assisting me. Service was slow and had to wait atleast 10minutes for service/to order. Salad bar food looked old and unpleasant.

One of the best pizza huts I’ve ever been to but the food always comes late the margarita pizza is vegetarian the staff are ok but the food is really good the best restaurant in the food court great chips I love the kids meal comes with a small pizza and fries with juice and ice cream all lastly salad recommend

Took my grandson for lunch. O n arrival first thing said was it's card payment only today. No hello or any welcome. Once at our table we were told to scan the barcode and order through that. Waitd ages for our glasses to get drinks but when food arrived it was great quality. Not keen on having to order through an app while in the restraint but guess that's the way the world is going.

Terrible. Never again. Incredibly rude shift manager when we were there. Terrible pizza, poor so-called salad bar, not value for money AT ALL. Don't waste your time and money.

Honesty the worst dining experience I’ve had in a while I’m literally never going to go to another Pizza Hut again, would have asked for my money back but the staff were quite kind and I didn’t want to hassle them.

Buffet ok restocked regularly by staff. Staff attentive and polite checking food and drinks were fine.

Went for lunch today with my mum and brother and I got a virtuous veg flatbread, asked for it without the rocket but they accidentally put the rocket on it which didn't bother me. They also made a fresh one without the rocket which goes above and beyond and was much appreciated. If 6 stars was an option I would've chosen it.

Dreadful. Exceedingly rude duty manager, certainly not value for money. If you like garlic laced pasta, this is the place for you, otherwise ....AVOID!!!!! Yuk. Even a complaint letter to Head Office, they sided with the totally fabricated story of the duty manager rather than the customer. Never. Ever. Again.

Haven't been here for some time but it's safe to say I won't be back... Myself and my son had the buffet, none of the pizzas were very warm or the pasta... 2pm and the place was empty, now I know why... I actually felt sorry for the staff.... £30+ to leave feeling disappointed 😞

£20 for as much pizza, salad and ice cream you cam eat and as much juice as you can drink. What's not to like about it? Only downside is the selection of pizzas isn't the best

Applied for a job that they had available on indeed. Filled out the application to be told they are not recruiting. Why advertise then and waste peoples time?? Also ordered a pepperoni pizza on the offer 2 weeks ago and all the pepperonis were crispy and not very nice. If you want good pizza stick to dominos the quality of the ingredients are so much better and dominos is actually cheaper

Food was excellent and had decent GF options at a little extra cost. Well worth it as pizza was a good size. The order at table is ok for tech savvy but they did say any issues someone would take order the old fashioned way which was nice to know.

The buffet is really good because it allows everyone to eat what they want without ordering meals each that may not get eaten. The only thing was the pasta wasn't topped up while we were there.

Amazing service from staff. Laura (I think was her name) was lovely and very helpful. And a man with a beard and glasses but I didn't catch his name. Food was lovely, all the staff were friendly and kind.

So I'm giving five stars for this experience with my grandson. Lunchtime during school holidays, Thursday 4th April. No pre-booking but we got a table ok. All in Buffet - as much pizza as you want; different bases, I prefer thin base, toppings, good selection. Nicely cooked. Or pasta - a couple of choices. Salad too. Great that there is a healthy addition. Bottomless drinks. My grandson not into fizzy juices but had diluting juice which was readily available. After our mains? Well the ice cream factory of course!! Add your own sauces and toppings. Soft ice cream. My favourite! Great. At £9.99 for a child and £15.99 for an adult - good value I would say. And the ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ too for the chef making the pizzas that day - he was working so hard, so fast, keeping the different pizzas topped up and serving individual preferences. A worker to hold onto and reward for his work ethic. Thanks to all. 👏👏👏👏👏

I ordered a pizza 8.45 it was delivered at 10.44 phoned pizza hut at 9.45 aware the closed at 10 the driver was supposed to be there 20 mins earlier but had not showed they very kindly remade my pizza as the one sitting there was cold. when it was finally delivered the driver and his partner told gave me an excuse for being over and hour late. just eat does not pay us enough to deliver that far (10mins from my house). that attitude is extremely unacceptable for a customer. I would like a refund!

mega bad man, nothing like how a melt is supposed to be. like what..

We had the 3 cheese melt and the BBQ chicken melt which came with fries, unlimited salad, ice cream and refillable pepsi. The melts and the fries were piping hot and reasonably priced. The toilets were clean and well maintained. The service was excellent and based on this visit I would certainly recommend this restaurant .

This place need to be shot down. This is third time when we could not eat there because they are short with staff. They offer us McDonald near by haha. After 4 years we revisited again poor food poor drinks quality near 0 no recommend again nothing changed it is time to close the business

Food is good but crowded and the tables and waste bins are not cleared. Trays and waste were lying all around. Restroom is horrible.

Today is amazing day after long time visit to Livingston Outlet Shopping Centre it was great pleasure visit with family to Pizza Hut. The friendliness of staff on arrival and the offer of help if I couldn't use online ordering was nice.

Been yelled at by staff member for not waiting at the reception when there was no one there / no signs saying to wait there to be served. Left immediately and will never go back again.

Buffet today with my daughter.. Pizza 🍕 was hot and plenty variety 😋 salad was fresh we really enjoyed our lunch

Kids chose a visit here for dinner. Found it to be very expensive especially given you're told to order with a qr code and you get your own drinks etc. We ended up waiting quite a while as our food was delivered to the wrong table. In general our food tasted alright, the onion rings were a bit soggy. Kids enjoyed the ice cream factory although everything was incredibly sticky and there was a puddle of melted ice cream on the floor. We were sat next to the red blinds which clearly haven't been cleaned in a while as they were very dusty which is a bit off-putting.

Fantastic service, friendly and helpful. Great pizza and sides and the deserts were good too. I would return.

We had a quick visit after shopping. We could not fault service, cleanliness or food. Lovely pizza with as much salad and soft drinks as we wanted for a great price. There is an icecream factory for kids and they can help themselves to Icecream and toppings We will be back.

Far too expensive for a place which is based on a self service,orders by app...prices like in a proper restaurant. Staff slow and too relaxed as we felt they only cared about the closing time

I went with my wife, son and grandson. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We didn't have to queue, had a nice table and were served quickly. Was there after cinema with son and grandson. It is still good but I remember when there were seafood pizza options, chilli flakes at the table and more options at the salad bar.

My pizzas squished (seemed like boxes put on their sides). Cheese bites used to be cheese coated in breadcrumbs now it is the same as round the pizza.(it should have said this as we paid a lot for bites with little cheese and not what was expected). The chicken wings were from the smallest chicken we have ever seen.

They don't take cash which is really disappointing.

When you scan the code at your table, it's basically self service. You pay on your phone, collect the pizza yourself (if buffet) and it's all done by you. Great place to have pizza and then walk 30 seconds over to the cinema afterwards.

Choice of buffet until 3pm or order from the menu. Staff was so helpful, helpful for us to choose from the menu, nice and clean place with clam environment. Loads of salad with tasty food

A big chain restaurant that serves decent food. Rare find. We had food from the buffet. All very fresh and frequently replenished. Can’t ask for much more.

Wouldn't go back. Kids pizza was tiny. The flatbread was tasteless and the unlimited salad selection consisted mostly of wilted lettuce, watery peppers and jalapenos. Probably the last time I'll eat in a Pizza Hut.

All staff friendly , kind and very kind. I praise all the staff you employ at the Livingston branch, Armadale Center. All good was tasty especially ice cream factory. I will be back for weekday buffet.

Went in for lunch with a friend and my month old baby. Asked if I could get some boiling water to make feed up for my baby, I was told they couldn't give me any due to health and safety, but there was a microwave in the food court across from it (so I'd need to have left the restaurant we chose to eat in to feed my baby) but I didn't have any water with me as I didn't think it would have been an issue add it hasn't been in any other place. Waitress then had a light bulb moment and offered a teapot of boiling water, what a palaver just to get some water.

Was looking forward to a nice pizza here today but seeing as they don't accept British legal tender I went elsewhere as my bank card wasnt working properly, your loss pizza hut is pizza express's gain sort it out or forget it 🤡🤡🤡

The food was fine, but we didn't get the cheesecake part of our order. We were going out that night so we wouldn't have had time to wait for it if they'd sent it later. No idea how someone can look in a bag, check out against the receipt and say "yup, that's ok, send it to the customer!" Won't be ordering from them again. 😡

Hi I tried to speak with someone last night on a live chat because my order never came because they couldn’t get a driver and it’s saying that it was delivered I have contacted Pizza Hut and they have advised me to try sort this out with just eat because the order was placed on here and there’s nothing they can do until I contacted yous. I would like my money back or the food I ordered. After I tried to cancel my order it wouldn’t let me do I spoke with someone on live chat but when I went off it to get my order number it wouldn’t let me back on to speak to him I want this sorted asap.

Fab pizza, service was great, and we got assistance with the app. There was a kids' party happening at the same time, but service was seamless. Highly recommend the GOAT pizza.

Pizza arrived cold......twisted, fliped, messy. Really it was looking like somebody shake it......kick it and shake again and delivered to me after that. First time in my life I received food like that. And was cold!!!!! Cheese bit's was hard....no nice melted any more.... After that I'm sure I will never order any food from this restaurant and definitely no recommend that to anyone.... I'm totally disappointed, it's just brakes my mood for this eavning. Thanks!

£27 for a Pizza that was badged as serving 2-3 people……. Called up to complain and was informed that the sharer size is 14” twenty seven pounds!!!!!!

Was brought to the table and we asked for the buffet and was told they would prefer if we ordered from the app instead but no where on the app did it have an option for tap water! The server was very bland and didn't smile or look like they wanted to be there! The food was ok It would be nice if the names of the pizzas were beside each pizza as I grabbed a few slices of one with BBQ sauce for the base which I don't like so that was a waste! It's ok for a quick visit if you're going for the buffet, staff could do with being more engaging and smiling once or twice!

We visited today with out grandson for a bite of lunch. We opted for the buffet lunch which was fine for us. Had a bowl of salad, some slices of pizza and some pasta( which I have to say tasted funny). Our grandson enjoyed his pizza and ice cream so a good time had by all. Or So I thought. We were going straight home then, but on way on road home I had to divert to Dobbies and was quite violently sick and I'm afraid to say an upset stomach. My stomach is still very sore now, it's not what I had to eat beforehand as I had had NOTHING to eat earlier. So I don't think that I will return very soon to this establishment

Pizza hut is not what it used to be very average now.

Today I was scammed by this team at Livingstone. Had taken 3 chocchip cookedough icecream and they charged me 19.37£ and what we got is only cookie in boxes. We were kep waiting for more than 30mts for the same too. Such a big chain doing such scam saying we ran out of icecream when asked. Please watch out.
