This is our Christmas tradition. Me, my step sons and their dad (Lads n Dads) have a Pizza hut every Christmas Eve and the Metro Centre.

Order did not arrive, pizza hut told me nothing they could do. The lady i spoke to was lovely and was taking orders from her manager, however more clearly needs to be in place for instances such as these..two disappointed kids..joke!

Friendly staff with great service, the Scottish restaurant manager is a gent, really welcoming nice guy

I'm not normally keen on pizza hut but I have to say this was the nicest pizza I have had! All the family agreed. It was very different to other pizza huts and to top it off the manager was lovely. Couldn't do enough for you. Definitely be going back to this one

Ordered delivery- the food was cold on arrival, I guess no condiments or napkins either. The pizza itself looked alright in the box but tasted mediocre. Very underwhelming experience.

Stopped off for some post shopping dinner, staff were very accommodating and professional young tall blonde girl and Scottish gentleman, we chose the buffet the pizzas were all delicious and piping hot with excellent choice, the Hawaiian a favourite overall, salad bar was well presented and all fresh too with more choice than other branches I've visited (bacon bits) (raisins) Would definitely visit again, less than £30 for buffet lunch including unlimited drinks for 2 people is good value, one of the better pizza hut outlets I've visited, the one I visited in Rhyl north Wales was appalling

don't know what's happening with pizza hut orders at the moment thus is the second time I've ordered and the pizza has been stone cold I've collected pizza from pizza hut in my car without a heatproof bag and it's still been warm enough to eat when I gotten it home ,

always order from pizza hut but today the quality of the pizza was very poor more dough taste couldn't taste toppings and the pizza was cold when it arrived I don't expect it to be oven hot as it has to be delivered but it was so cold it had to be heated up in my oven .

Paul is always welcoming when we come to hut. And the staff are equally friendly. Kiera was server today, was pleasant as always.

The Scottish Manager was really helpful, the food was really nice and the tables were spread out so we weren't talking over anyone. We all enjoyed it

I visited there on 29/11/24 at about 8pm. The food was excellent. The staff and the manager were brilliant. Excellent team..😁👍

We required assistance to place order, which we were told had to be completed on an in restaurant screen. Although there was hardly anyone in the restaurant, the duty manager didn't appear to want to help us. He was extremely rude and we left without eating.

Quite often come to this Pizza Hut as it’s one of the best around. The staff are always so welcoming to me and my family and give us the best service we’ve probably ever received. We normally come in on a Friday and receive exceptional service from both Heidi and Rebecca, can’t thank these ladies enough for being so lovely and welcoming to us. The food on the other hand; omg to die for! We absolutely love the buffet so many different options to chose from! Salad bar is always a good hit for me and the family too, always looking fresh and stocked when we dine! Thank you for the exceptional service each and every time Pizza Hut!

Disappointed in our order. Food freezing cold when picked up after them “losing our order” rang to complain and they hung up on me!!!! Pizza was dry and basically full of flour at the bottom. Dough balls aren’t cooked correctly. Who we need to complain to as this food safety issue now.

Ordered through Uber Eats and can't believe they had the cheek to send this pizza out ! Pizza Hut must have a shortage of pizza sauce as they don't like to add it to their pizzas, was the driest pizza iv ever had ! Absolutely foul it was just cheese and pepperoni, no tomato sauce could be found on this monstrosity! Very disappointed in Pizza Hut !

Came with family after shopping at metro centre come here quite often as kids love pizza was served by a lovely young lady new worker here think her name was Sophie had dark coloured hair and glasses she was very helpful nice to see young people being so helpful and polite

Went in last night and was served by Paul the manager ! Honestly an absolute gem and provided amazing service. Lovely food , lovely service, lovely team !

Paul, I think he was the manager, was brilliant. It was really refreshing to speak to somebody in hospitality who is just really friendly and nice to talk to. This was 30 minutes before closing time, so it speaks volumes about how good the staff were because usually you would get death stares close to closing time. But I honestly couldn't think of one thing to fault them. Thank you!!

The food was fantastic but the order was later than expected as it was very late which wasn't ideal as our guests were due to go home with their baby

We dined here for my son's birthday. Food was fast, hot and delicious. Service was great. The staff were so accommodating and helped make his birthday special. They even helped us sing happy birthday which was a lovely touch. Thanks so much and we will be back.

I was part of a staff team taking some school boarders for an evening meal out. 10/10 would do again! Greeted at the front door, we were shown to our table for 16 with smiles and laughter, as we were all introduced to Anthony, the manager. By the end of the evening, all 13 of the children had unanimously called him "Anthony the Legend"! So, so friendly and humorous, he built a fantastic rapport with the children, and wasn't afraid to respond to their cheeky comments in kind! Very knowledgeable and reassuring about the various allergens in the group, he was extremely accommodating and created a very comfortable atmosphere for the children! Alongside the brilliant service, the food was amazing! Even our allergen burdened members, found themselves enjoying their food, definitely some fantastic alternatives! Definitely will be returning - thank you Anthony!

The girl who served us was excellent

I had food here at lunch today as a party of three and we had the buffet. The buffet was constantly restocked and the waitress even took a request to the kitchen for a pizza my party would like to see on the buffet. She came to let us know when it was there aswell! The service was fast and both the restaurant and bathroom was very clean.

Although Pizza Hut is a standard chain, Poppy who served us tonight made the difference. You can tell when somebody is dedicated to work.

First time in my life at Pizza Hut! Food was really nice, we did have a little bit of an issue with the food but the manager couldn't have been more helpful and resolved it very quickly! My only real complaint is that the tables are a bit too small considering the size of the dishes you are getting though, especially when there are 4 people there, hence why the atmosphere has been marked down!

Lovely clean restaurant. Chose to order the old fashioned way by the waitress rather than QR code orders. Had a family maxi meal deal 2 sharing pizzas, 2 sides, 4 desserts for £49.99 plus drinks at 3.99 each but these are unlimited. Staff were lovely and super helpful.

We opted for the buffet and the quality of the pizza was really good. The staff were helpful and friendly. Special thanks to the manager for being so kind!

Originally meant to be delivered at 18:50. Was delivered at 19:40 nearly and hour later. I’m pregnant so waiting to eat food for nearly an hour was disgusting plus with the price of the delivery, you expect hot food. The driver picked up the order then went to the metrocentre only to go back to Pizza Hut. What is the point if the food is going to go cold in that time? Not impressed and want a refund!

ordered for delivery and it said it had been delivered at 18.29 but I've been sitting waiting nearly an hour for it to arrive. I was just wondering if it was still coming or not.

Food was all cold, cardboard food boxes were wet, soggy due to heavy downpour, none of the food were in any thermal carriers, delivery driver handed me the boxes never spoke a word and left. Very disappointed especially when I paid over £60 and paid for delivery.

Never been to Pizza hut for years. Granson chose this for his birthday. Great choice of fresh pizzas. Loads of fresh salad. Could order on app but we ordered from the lovely friendly staff explained different offers. We'll definitely be back.

Shown to a grubby unclean table. You order through the app and they have the audacity to ask for a tip prior to food being brought out and for non existent service. Expensive and unclean

When we walked in we were greeted nicely in a timely manner. The kids were given colours and activity pack without us having to ask which was nice. We were told that we could order via QR code or we could get help if we needed. Food came out in good timing, friendly service. Very happy. Best pizza hut in newcastle/gateshead.

We had great service throughout and the variety and freshness of the buffet was great. Restaurant and toilets were very well kept.

Asked twice for garlic spray on edge of pizza. Never got it. Pizza was tasteless and lacked cheese. Garlic bread was limp and lacked much garlic. Loud music was playing in car park over the restaurant's speakers. I won't be back.

Loved the pizza, the starters were okay and the cookie dough was amazing. I'm not too keen on the new order system though, you no longer speak to anyone you just order on the app. I get that this will suit some people but it's not for me.

Walked into the pizzahut at the Metrocentre and was greeted by young girls that just looked so fed up of being there. I was told I could just find a table and sit where I wanted. I was told to order everything using the table QR code like they did in the old days of Covid. There was my table of 2 and maybe 2 or 3 other small tables in at this time. When I stood up and approached the counter, I asked if I could get some help at the table and just take a simple order for pizza rather than going through the whole app carry on - we all know what I mean. To then, my pal noticed one of the staff leaving, who then made eye contact with the person who was on shift where the member of staff working shook their heads as though I was totally out of order to actually ask for service at their place of work while they are at work 😂 So this straight away just kinda annoyed me from the off but we've all met that type of 'team member' that is out radged because they have been asked to work, whilst at work. So then to the food. I was really looking forward to this bit because I've never really had a rubbish one yet. Well, when it came out it was the wrong one all together so they switched it for the right one. The food that came out just didn't taste as fresh as it usually does and all the sides just seemed very standard. Like Lidl standard - no offence Lidl, your service is better.

Restaurant was not as busy as it used to be with families. We had the lunch time buffet. A good choice of fresh cooked pizza and 2 pasta dishes. Very good fresh salad bar. Staff were pleasant and made sure everything was to our l byiking.

the pizza was inedible as when we opened the box the pizza was stuck to the lid and all on top of each other ,the delivery driver was polite saying sorry for the wait , was it like this because it was delivered on a bike

Just what you'd expect from Pizza Hut. The food was tasty, came out quickly and was of excellent quality. I had a margarita pizza. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a pleasant day. The toilets were clean and well-stocked. Very clean and tidy. The music is pleasant. Great experience. I recommend a visit.

Pizza was cold and looked like it had been dropped and the slices put back in the box by hand . Disgrace . Especially at £21 .

The lass who looked after us was lovely, she really went above and beyond. I wish I got her name. She was a credit to the place. Food was ok, nothing special. But I'll definitely return for the lovely staff who looked after us.

I ordered the pizza at 16:00 the estimated time of delivery was 16:50-1710 the pizza arrived at18;07 it was cold and the box did not have a seal on like it usually does. the delivery driver did apologise and said they had been busy

Well I can't really comment on the food because we walked out of the place after being shown to a table. We sat down in a booth and immediately felt uncomfortable. The seats were grubby and sticky as were the the menu's and the table. After looking at the menu and seeing the extortionate prices for basic food we got up and walked out. We ended up going to our usual Italian restaurant and had a 3 course special for a fraction of what we would have spent at pizza hut.

Unfortunately when the pizza arrived all the slices were on top of each other ! Ended up not eating as they had stuck together not great for sharing

Delivery time was pushed back by 10 minutes. The food is okay, its more the lack of availability of drivers that's an issue. However once a driver is assigned, they deliver the food very quickly.

My experence they was horrible I soon as me and my two boyfreinds got they were laughing at us giving ya dirty looks the staff as soon as we went to the buffet they went are yous gay my 2 boyfriend garry wasn’t happy because it was his birthday and they spat in our pizza

Ordered on a Tuesday night, the delivery driver waited at the restaurant for 20 minutes, and then drove to the wrong address. The pizza arrived cold, and the majority of slices were black because of how burnt it was. Ive ordered from this location for months now, and the quality is declining.

Exactly what you would expect from pizza hut. Food was good and came out fast I arrived close to closing time and the quality still great. I had the individual stuffed crust as well as the cheesy bites.

Excellent thoroughly enjoyed, good value for money with Buffet. Disappointed with fries as they had a seasoning that was spicy, and they were not advertised as such. Child could not eat them. Please could you have on menu plain fries, thank you.

Popped in to grab a quick dinner with the kids, food usual cheap and cheerful what made the visit that extra bit different was Heidi, didn’t do nothing special but she was just so friendly chatting to the kids, making time to speak to us, my 4 year old talks for England she made time to listen to him…will defo be back if only to see her…

Absolutely awful place customer service is zero they talk to you like there doing you a favour by letting you in, the place it’s self is filthy needs a good deep clean we as a family of 3 walked out after they way the manager and another young lass spoke to us i definitely won’t be back, don’t bother booking they don’t even ask you and you’ll be seated where they tell you and don’t dare ask to move

Food was cold and delivery was late and needed to walk one street over to collect. Would like a refund or voucher to compensate for such a disappointing experience. We had to warm up our food in the microwave when it arrived.

Excellent service for our family birthday meal. The staff were so friendly, service was quick and food was hot and really good, only criticism would be the salad bar was a bit sparse and messy. Bonus was bringing our cake and singing to our 6 year old granddaughter, made her very happy. Thank you for a lovely night
