Pizza Hut in Newcastle upon Tyne

I used to have pizzas from Pizza Hut many years ago, but I hadn’t tried them in a long time until recently. I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh, hot, and delicious they were. The toppings were perfectly balanced. The experience exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely be coming back here for more.

Food is always top notch and ready when they say it will be. Everything seems so fresh. On a road full of pizza shops this one is the best. The staff are also great

This is our go to but no more we all had food poisoning from this place ordered last night and we were up all night being sick avoid this place disgusting

Absolutely shocking service. I ordered delivery and it never arrived. I sat waiting for one hour. Called the shop and nobody answered. Called the following day and spoke to a rude woman on the phone who said they were closed and she can’t issue a refund of £30. Fuming

Pizza Hut is supposed to be the same where ever you go, However this is not the case. This branch is fantastic, the pizza are amazing, the toppings are very fresh, there’s plenty of cheese. The staff are always very friendly. I called in here last early last year for my lunch & was so impressed with how tasty the pizza’s are, we now travel from Consett when we fancy a pizza.

Meal was delivered on time and nice and hot was lovley as usual

Service was pretty fast and the staff were nice, nothing to complain. Size of the small pizza was still massive lol so very pleased, tasted great too and definitely well priced. The sides were okay, nothing bad. Would happily go again :))

I really liked opened the box and discovered the hired delivery person helped themselves to a slice and bit into another slice and left the leftovers. Very poor quality delivery staff.

Be aware. Do not make the mistake of ordering from here. I placed my order on Wednesday night while visiting Newcastle. My food was all cold. And burnt- incompetent staff and so called managers have taken two days to call me back after a numerous number of calls to them. They expect to me to have the food to return 2 days later after I’ve left. She had the cheek to tell me I’ve probably ate the food and want a refund. Disgusting behaviour. Rude incompetent. Found her to be very incompetent. At first I thought it was her English giving the ‘manager’ the benefit of the doubt till she used profanity. Highly recommend you to avoid this store or it’s staff

Excellent service and tasty pizza

One of few Pizza Hut had that put decent amount of cheese on nachos. Piping hot when arrived.

I ordered a medium pizza with my order and it didn't arrive. I tried calling the place several times but no one has picked up. The driver said that there was no other item with the delivery.

By far the worst pizza we’ve ever ordered. Pooled Grease pooled on the top and made the bottom ridiculously soggy. Went to call to complain about it and no answer even though they should still be open. Go to dominos instead

The lass who made the delivery apologized for being late because she was in an accident on the way! I hope she's feeling alright and wasn't badly hurt.

Haven't been here for years, it was a weekly visit when we lived in High Heaton. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was very tasty and well worth the price and travel....Will be returning very soon.

The food had an expensive £2.44 delivery charge and a service charge that was. more expensive than i though at £1.44. I live about 2 miles from that Pizza Hut branch and to pay over £27 for a pizza i with a 20% discount still comes to over £27 with 6 chicken wings and chilli sauce, with no drink, that’s expensive compared to a small independent Pizza shop. About a month ago i ordered from Blue Sea pizza shop in Wallsend and their pizza was just as good, if not better than from Pizza Hut and a few £s cheaper, with a better cheesy filling in the crust. Also by not ordering from Pizza Hut you’re not ordering from some big American corporation.

Horrendous overcooked pizza and disgusting staff. Supposed manager has no respect or manners in general. To be told to come to the shop drop the food of to be then told im wrong? A knife couldnt cut through the pizza.

We were staying at the Staybridge Suites, and fancied a pizza. On googling, Pizza Hut was the first place to come up and it said we could have it delivered via Uber. Placed an order for 2 pizzas, 2 sides and a bottle of juice. I was kept updated on delivery times, and 2 minutes before it said it was due to be delivered, I received a call from the delivery driver as he was unsure of where to go - so I told him to just leave it at reception and my husband would go and collect it. My husband was so quick, he actually met the driver as he came into the building. There was no issue with the food - it was exactly the same as from any other pizza hut. Even with the offers, it feels expensive - we were almost £35 for our meal. On the plus side, it was delivered to our accommodation. Would I use this branch again? Don't know is the honest answer....nothing wrong with it, but it wasn't amazing either.

Chillingham Road Pizza Hut sent us the wrong order, and the driver had to return, pick up our order again and come back. The organisation at Chillingham road Pizza Hut seems to have a problem.

I'm really unhappy with my pizza it's not been cooked long enough the base is still doughy inside the cheese hadn't even melted,I've had to put it in my own oven to cook some more,something which I didn't want to do,the whole reason me buying a take away was so i wouldnt have to cook tonight.

There’s something about Pizza Hut from the chillingham road branch, it always tastes amazing, piping hot and quick delivery. Other Pizza Hut branches I’ve ordered from don’t compare!

Wrong order was delivered to me. The delivery driver told me a “fresh pizza” would be sent. 20 minutes later the order arrived and the pizza had clearly being lying for a long time. When it arrived it was dry and cold.

Does anyone actually read the “notes to restaurant” section on the delivery order? Because I left very clear directions to my address on it yet the driver was unable to find it. I had to walk to the end of my street to collect my order which defeats the point of having a delivery. My pizza was also lukewarm when I got to eat it. Altogether, not good.

Absolutely disgusting for the price! Food was stone cold! £30 for one pizzas fries and chickens wings! All freezing cold! hardly any topping on pizza! Shared between 2 people! And were both still starving! Will never ever order from here again

Después de esperar más de una hora, descubrimos que nuestro pedido fue cancelado por el restaurante sin explicación. Intenté sonar varias veces y no obtuve respuesta alguna. Piensa que es ridículo que el pedido no se haya aceptado si no pudieron hacerlo por cualquier motivo.

First time I've had Pizza Hut pizza in 15 years. The quality of the pizza tonight reminded me why. Maybe I'll give them another try again15 years from now.

Pizza was ok for the price but the wedges were horrendous, no flavour and most of them where undercooked and hard in the middle. seriously disappointed with this!!

It was really odd that the delivery driver knocked on the gate rather than coming in and knocking on the door... Other than that, food was lovely, delivery time great and the delivery man was really nice. Great value too.

Love this pizza freshly and amazing

Ordered from here a few times and never had any problems. If you like Pizza Hut then this does the job, you can normally get some decent discounts online.

Placed order email confirmation received arrival time 19:30 at 19:45 I called restaurant who had no record of order. Offered to take order over phone however in a hotel so did not know postcode. Contacted just eat on chat who helped by contacted restaurant and put through order again.

Pedimos la pizza de carne y algunas cuñas. Las cuñas estaban frías y llenas de bultos. La pizza parecía cortada por un niño y era extremadamente grasosa. Una de las ollas de salsa que pedí se había metido dentro de la caja de pizza porque las habían metido juntas. ¡Nunca volveré a visitar aquí!

Me and my flatmate decided to the order the two medium pizzas for £5 each, the delivery time was amazing but we were both disappointed to find that both of our pizzas were very very greasy, to the point that the pizza box was soaked. It ruined the pizza entirely as it made eating the pizza turn into an experience that felt similar to coating ourselves in bottles of oil.

Ordered two pizzas to arrive at 9pm at 7:45 pm. Didn't arrive on time ...when I called to query stating I had to nip out to at 9:30 pm I was just dismissed by the telephone operator staff. Extremely rude and not professional. Don't offer a service if you can't provide one

When you order create your own online, they send plain cheese, because toppings dont show on the system as if it were my fault, not be using them again. Thank you very much pizza Hut Chillingham Rd.

The tiny branch of Pizza Hut offers take out food to the Heaton area of Newcastle upon Tyne. I placed my order with a fantastically friendly attendant, and waited no more than ten minutes for my food to be ready. A small pizza, but still a good size for an individual (even a hungry one like myself) came to £3.99. Fantastic value! I left very happy, and would happily return here again, if I felt the need for some late night pizza.

Very very impressed!!! Hadn't used this pizza Hut before but ordered online and my order arrived within 30 mins!! Had cheese garlic bread, loaded skins (bacon and cheese) and a chicken supreme pizza. I phoned the restaurant to see how long it would take as soon as my order was completed and the manager said within 30 mins and it arrived in 25. All of the food was delicious....good portion sizes and hot. I usually use Another pizza place in Heaton but no more. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Chillingham Rd pizza Hut to anyone!!!

Viewed the pizza Hut website and decided that the £5.99 deal was good for us Drove to the shop Could not have the deal despite the advert and being there ready to place an order Offer according to the shop is not available unless ordered online No mention of this on the initial promotion must be in hidden in small print on another email address Walked out of shop and bought food elsewhere I don't need the hassle just something for my evening meal
