Brilliant takeaway in Thornton Le Dale, the food is always perfect, delivery time is always under 40 minutes and the staff are so friendly..... Definitely recommend this place..

Stayed in a lodge not far from here and got there late so tried pizzaland from the reccomendations book inside the lodge. Brilliant pizzas full of flavour and not greasy like some takeaways are. Also tried a chicken parmesan and that was very nice as well would definitely reccomend if your looking for good fast food and good value for money.

We were on holiday in North York, from Northampton and we found this pizza location. We have not eaten great pizza like this in a very long time. Thank you for much!

GREASE GALORE Take no notice of the people that say its not greasy tried this place twice this year hoping the first time was a one off. Pizza was absolutely swimming. So much grease the garlic dip wouldn't even stick to the pizza. Over priced delivery charges £7 for 4 mile is disgraceful total for order was £34 for a 14" pizza and 3 dips

5/5 for Pizza Land. We were staying in Pickering for the night and found loads of places to eat closed before 8.30pm, we found pizza land 5mins away from our hotel and it was amazing. I would truly go back again.

Ordered two pizzas, one veggie and one Americana, for delivery to Premier Inn. Delivered pizzas were both excellent and so tasty. Will defo order again when next stay in Premier Inn

Staying at premier inn and needed a bite to eat , ordered 9” margherita pizza , flavour was okay however it was very greasy with oil , the 1pcs chicken selection box was really nice overall food was good

I have eaten many pizzas over the years, but never have I had one as good as this. The pizza was amazing, great toppings not greasy and full of flavour. I had the Rancher and I will use this place again. I can't give any stars for atmosphere as I ordered online. Brilliant pizza, brilliant service and didn't have to wait too long for the food.

Food was decent However I thought £2.50 for chips was expensive but £5 for a bit of cheese sprinkled out of a bag on the top of my chips is a disgrace! This is not acceptable in this day and age. The chip spice had white bits in which looked like dandruff and tastied funky… due to this I had to abort mission “overpriced cheesy chips” and throw it in the bin but apart from that it was a very tasty meal Thank you pizza land PS… wear a hair net next time ;)

Genuinely best burgers around!!! Don’t think it’s possible to find anyone who could do it better than pizzaland! The cheesy chips and Donner meat is also amazing!! 😍 always really friendly as well . 10/10 all round !

Ordered a pizza, chips and a tandoori chicken kebab. They said it would be 40 mins. 2 hours later it came. Pizza was OK. Chips cold and hard. Chicken tandoori kebab was just chargrilled chicken and cold. Would not not recommend especially for £30.

This takeaway restaurant overall is a fantastic place to go. The staff are absolutely friendly and hardworking. They are very chatty like you’ve known them for a while, that friendly! Fantastic customer service! There are a huge amount of choice on the menu, not just pizza, other popular food too! There are also a huge amount of choice in terms of pizza toppings too. For the pizza, there are 4 different portion sizes including 9 inch, 11 inch, 14 inch and 16 inch so however hungry you are, there are a range of portion sizes to choose from. The photo I uploaded is the garlic sausage pizza 14 inch, it tasted absolutely amazing! Full of flavour! The food is amazing! The restaurant is definitely what Thornton Le Dale needs.

The food was lovely and great service would recommend to anyone staying at High Oaks Grange.

Last week after working thought get myself a special kebab all on on order when came no sauces kebab meat all dry sorry but not for me anymore £17 thrown in bin

Very disappointed - paid over £35 for pizza, chips and dip

second time they’ve given me food poisoning now, i’ve ordered from here for over a year and rarely had issues so i let the first food poisoning slide but when i’ve phoned up for a refund this time they were very rude basically calling me a liar. luckily i ordered through food hub so i’ve been able to get my refund

Picked a takeaway supposedly chicken tandoori kebab from here this evening. Salad was nice and fresh but must say the chicken was that well cooked it was dry and even black on one side.We were told it would only be ten minutes so can only assume it was being specially warmed up for us.

Do not go!!! Food is disgusting!! No Salad, No Sauce please..... They just add it anyway. Can I have cheesy chips please?? Hardly any cheese and it's not melted. Place is a joke, it's dirty inside so wipe your shoes on the way out! Place needs shutting down and it's worker's arrested for the quality of food there serving. -3/10

Very quick service, I ordered a margarita pizza and a garlic bread and both were ready within 10 minutes. After a poor takeaway from the pizza place in nearby pickering I thought I'd give Pizzaland a try. Pizza was certainly an improvement, just a little bit too greasy. £17 for a large pizza and garlic bread not terrible.

Best Doner kebab for miles. I drive from kirkbymoorside to here . Our local kebabs aren't nowhere near as good.

Ate from here 3 times in a week as food was so good.... Picked up as less than 10 min drive from pickering where we were staying. Innocuous looking small shop but excellent food Pizza was great especially thin crust margherita.... also had the lasagne again very tasty and the chicken kebab was lovely and tender and smokey (XL size could have fed 2 people) Food was all freshly prepared and hot and staff were friendly Kids thought it was the best pizza ever Thought the price was decent too Would never expect go to a kebab or pizza shop for chips so got some from the chippy next door also tasty too Thanks fellas 👌

My first time using a takeaway in this area. Okay I expected to pay a little more to my home city but if I had realised it was going to be in access of £32+ for 2 pizzas, a garlic bread and fries I'd of gone to Figaro's in Pickering and it would of been cheaper!! I paid extra for stuffed crust on both pizzas and check out the photo!! It was stuffed with fresh air!! No cheese at all!! Local to me in my home town it would of been £6.50 for a pizza plus £1.50 for stuffed crust Garlic bread with cheese is free over £10 and the fries £2 and decent food. Clearly they need competition in the area to push their prices down and food quality up. The food is mediocre, nothing special, pizza base chewy and I found bone in the toppings. The chips was awful but the garlic bread was okay, again chewy though and as I said above got ripped off with the stuffed crust. Looking at what's in the area its hard not to use them if you want pizza. If you can, avoid.

Simply delicious. Had the meat feast calzone and it was the right size and full of filling flavour. Definitely worth visiting.

Food was ok, but wasn't offered a choice of sauces or salad which the menu stated and asked for chip spice on the fries which they also forgot.

Stopped here as we was staying at a campsite nearby, and the food was gorgeous, that much so that we are devastated it's not our local :(

Used twice so far when in the area. Genuinely the best pizza I've had and such a vast array of choice. Very friendly staff I'll definitely return when in the area again.

Just had a lamb donnor kebab delivered,it's the best I have ever had,it was delivered right on time,will order again.

On holiday in the area, had the cravings for a pizza so thought we would give the local Pizzaland a try. What an absolute delicious pizza, great base, full of lovely toppings! Possibly the best pizza we've had....had a few too. My wife who ordered the pizza said the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hopefully we'll be back, shame you don't deliver to Burnley.

Went yesterday with my son as we were camping nearby. They were all really friendly and welcoming and gave my little boy a lolly. I had a lamb kebab which was one of the best I have ever eaten. Will definitely return when I am next in the area.

Second time now I've turned up under an hour before closing and told 'we're closed'. What's the point in having opening times if they are made up on the day. Generally good food in the past, but how can I review properly if I can't buy food!

Nice food but doesn't travel that well

Really poor service. Ordered on Just Eat at 5.30ish for collection at 7pm - they obviously hadn't got the order and I ended up waiting half an hour anyway for the food. We had 2 pizzas - both were nice but won't be ordering again as it was abysmally slow and they didn't even apologise. Very poor.

Nice pizza and friendly staff, when we got there. Plenty of fast food, chips, etc. I had a chicken parmesan, which was slightly too well done on the bottom. Apart from that, we'll worth a visit if you need a pizza.

Very pleasant people. The food is absolutely fine. Not expensive. You can not expect top class food at these prices, but if you are hungry and patient then it a great place for food.

The worst takeaway I have ever eaten , we waited over a hr for food then because salad was missing we waited another 90 minutes for it to arrive by which my kebab was not only cold but rock hard and unappealing, I had no choice but to throw it away. The other food was cold when it arrived and quite awful but kids needed feeding ! .I will never order again from here

Camping round the corner, walked In ordered it was ready in 15 mins and the Pizzas were amazing and fresh! Was sceptical after reading reviews but, I would definitely recommend!!

Absolutely disgusting, ordered my pizza at 7.25 and it arrived at 10pm with 2 of the 4 extra toppings missing, awfull pizza smothered in sickly bbq sauce, my garlic sauce was missing, so £2.50 worth of food simply not there and then £5.50 for delivery and service charge! The guy on the phone had the nerve to tell me he will not remove the delivery charge but he will do me a deal next time lol like there is any chance atall of a next time! Avoid this pizzeria they are clowns and the food is terrible!

We ordered a pizza and parmo, the pizza had the wrong topping and the parmo was burnt and the chips were cold. £21 quid and threw it all away. Rung up.to tell them and they said we will send us the correct pizza on the next order?? No thanks I will not be ordering from.here again

Missing items all the time, delivery is always late up to 2.5 hours since I order it. food is nearly always cold by the time it arrives and items are sometimes missed off my order and you waste your time trying to get them corrected as you get a abusive man down the phone at you! customer service stinks, I really would give this a place a wide berth as in Pickering there are some decent ones. They also charge you £5 for delivery to Pickering. Day light robbery!

Absolutely disgusted. Last week I ordered a calzone without garlic because I'm allergic to it and it had garlic on it, they informed me they would replace it on my next order, subsequently I've made an order and they haven't sent it even though I had specifically written it down in the comments asking for it. I phoned them up and the guy says he didn't look at the comments, also I had written down no onions so I've checked my burger and it has onions on it. I've had to throw that away, once again I've wasted my time so I'm going to put it on social media how dreadful this establishment is. Also going to post it on the just eat app as well

I ordered a meat feast pizza, and obviously it was a cheese garlic bread with a couple of stands of meat, absolutely disgraceful as weve been customers for a while. When i rang they just hung up, will never order from there again dreadful. Nina

Was nice food 4 months ago. Just an update Been a regular for a while now. Last 2 orders have had problems with missing items. food late on all occasions upto an hour late last time. 40 minutes late this time. I thought I'd give them a final chance 3rd time lucky? Nope. Ordered at 6.45 for 8.20pm give them enough time because they have always been late. delayed. Arrives at 8.55. No bottle of coke that we ordered. food was cold again like when the pizza slice is just solid. I'm really disappointed but I've given 3 chances. Will not be ordering again

Best BBQ chicken pizza ever !!!!

Terrible customer service, they cancelled my online order as the distance was "too far", after they charged £5 for delivery. I ring to change the order to a collection but i am interrupted rudely by "too far, too far" and they abruptly put the phone down. Ring again to then be told to make the order again online, but they still quickly take it but rushing me off the phone again.

We were at cropton forest for a week and these guys delivered... Absolutely amazing food... Succulent meat not chewy at all... Chicken ws lovely... Fresh salads... And fresh food... Very generous portions...
