Best pie and mash in Essex We’re from east london, so we know our pie and mash!!! We always do takeaway and it reheats perfect.

Born and raised on Pie and Mash in The East End. Not going to lie, I wasn’t expecting much but happy to admit that I was wrong. One of the few good independent PAM that I’ve been to in Essex. Stunning pies. I’d normally leave pictures but tbh, I just wanted to get stuck in the second I saw them… Just try it, and if I’m wrong then you don’t know what you’re talking about

One of the best pie and mash shops in Essex. Been working in witham for 2 days and eat here both. Highly recommend to the lot of you lot

When your showing Spurs v West Ham in your club what better way to round the afternoon off than with an East End tradition, Pie Mash and Liquor, how amazed was I that a London tradition had found its way to Witham, I had to try it first so 3 days before match day I did, started with an amazing cup of tea followed by double double double (you all know what that is). 10/10 for me then upon paying placing my order for 60 Pie Mash n Liquor for the big game was never a problem, it leaves me to say my punters were full of praise on match day thinking they were in the East End. What a find and what a team Polly’s have see you soon.

We went here yesterday and spoke to the kind and helpful woman behind the counter, she answered all the questions we had and the looked clean, tidy, cozy. The food was beyond amazing, we've had pie and mash from several different shops over the years and this was by far the best. The pies were very flavorful and tasted just how a pie and mash shop pie should. The liquor was plenty for a large and had that distinct, authentic flavor that it's known for and we all loved it very much. We would highly reccomend going as it honestly doesn't get any better than this and we look forward to going again soon!!!

had the 2 and 2 , the pies where great , had the liquor first time and loved it. all wash down with a spotted dick pud . will be back staff where very friendly and helpful

We arrived as a table of nine, a reservation was taken days previous but when we arrived there was just a load of excuses ranging from “we forgot to do it, we don’t have reservation signs, you’ll just have to wait” to the ridiculous “we don’t actually do reservations”…… but you do as you took it and confirmed it!! Just a bizarre (and rude) way to run a business. The person that took the reservation days previous was literally standing behind the counter. Totally understand if your business model is not to offer reservations……. but then why take one with no intention of honouring it, and then try and make it the customers fault when you let them down. We went on my late dad’s birthday, for the reason that he loved pie and mash, that probably made the whole situation hurt a bit more. Can’t comment of food quality as we were never given the opportunity to try, but customer service is terrible!

We pre ordered 6 meals, all ready on time all excellent value and tasted great ! All 6 of us really happy will become a regular lunch option!!

This has to be the best pie and mash I have had in Essex/East London since the regular visits to Nathan's along the Barking road before every West Ham home game. Double pie, double mash, liquor, chilli vinegar and a choice of drink for less than a tenner, yummy.
