Pondok Fresh Falafel & Juice in Bournemouth

It's disappointing that this place isn't vegetarian/vegan anymore, the falafel is good so I decided to still order. Wish I hadn't because at the same time my falafel was being made, burgers were being fried on the grill. Since there was no ventilation the restaurant smelt disgusting and even though there are two grills, both are used for warming up wraps. I saw the server going to warm my falalfel wrap on the grill that had just been used for grilling meat and had to quickly remind him that I'm vegan and that is a no go so he used the other grill but I wasn't convinced how clean it was..... Needless to say it left a bad taste in my mouth (figuratively) and I won't be going back

This place is amazing. I went there on the spur of the moment for a takeaway lunch. The menu is mainly falafel, halloumi and avocado with some amazing salads. you can have either in a wrap or a box. The restaurant decor is fresh, funky and clean. The staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was prepared fresh as I waited. When I took it back to work to eat, I had a wonderful surprise. The packaging of the food was great and the presentation was attractive. The food was absolutely deeeelicious (I picked the avo and halloumi box meal). It is also very clean and healthy, so for those who are conscious of health and wellbeing I could not recommend this more. I honestly think I could eat here every day!! I cannot recommend enough. Thank you Pondok, I will be back soon

Really tasty for a quick lunch. Delicious wraps and smoothies. Good service, friendly and good value. Highly recommended especially good for vegan / vegetarian but equally tasty for everyone!

Wonderful fresh food from an independent restaurant. Staff were polite and courteous and the wraps and tapas were amazing. Don’t judge the simple, café like decor from the outside - the food is fabulous!

Excellent service, very friendly staff. The falafels are exceptional! The hummus and tahini sauce were very good, the salad greens were fresh, everything we ordered was homemade.

On holidays in Bournemouth and we found this small place. We decided to try and so glad we did. The food is amazing and the people very friendly. Before the end of our holidays we are going back. The avocado and halloumi wrap is just delicious. So bad they are not in London.

The food here is phenomenal the service the food the seating it is all welcoming. The staff are lovely and make me feel very welcoming as I come in nearly everyday. There smoothies to wraps to burgers are all homemade and taste fresh I would rate this a 10/10

We had the family feast and the koshari. All we freshly prepared from scratch. All tasted lovely and such variety. Very impressed. And excellent value too.

The family and I loved the food and drink at Pondok! It was absolutely delicious and so nice to get a healthy and fresh meal which is quick and easy with the kids! Lots of vegan options for my husband and I and veggie options for the children. We ordered some juices and couldn’t believe how good they were, freshly squeezed and all food and drinks made to order. To top it off the service is so kind, friendly and welcoming! We highly recommend!

i have my coffee (— mocha or flat white) here on nearly every working day and i frequently have food items, too — halloumi wraps, falafel. The food is prepared fresh in the café and to an exceptional standard — and the food is always very tasty. i really don’t know anywhere in this town where you can find coffee as good as the coffee served here. Finally, the staff are lovely and always helpful. One of the workers is very funny + always makes me laugh! Pondok is a gem in this town.

Lovely staff, good food, decent price, quickly served and overall wholesome experience. The flat white I had was deliver within a minute and make it to the proper style.

Me being vegan and having a passion for eating lol I absolutely love Mediterranean food. It being a juice bar too. Just buts the cherry on the top for me! Absolutely lovely people who work there and the vibe is right everytime!

I thoroughly enjoyed this, everything tastes so fresh and really good portion sizes. Will order again 🙂

Pondok food is just amazing and it's by far the best falafel I have ever tried. Also every single member of staff is just lovely and willing to go the extra mile. It's one of my favourite places now. Highly recommended!

We visited on Monday lunchtime with our 4 year old daughter. Couldn't have asked for more - great, freshly prepared food and lovely people. Definitely recommend a visit.

Me and my Fiance ordered the falafel & hummus wrap with haloumi and all the salad. All the ingredients are freshly made in house and are sensational, fresh and very healthy! I will be back very soon!!!

I ordered the Pita Pocket and Sweet potato fries, the food was fresh and delicious. The falafel was yummy and the sweet potatoes were so good, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I highly recommend this place, I would go back again.
