We got takeaway last night it was beautiful chicken korma delicious and chicken rogan josh very tasty

The curry was just a bit boring. So was the rice. It was very similar to the chicken tikka masala you can buy from Costco

Food is really lovely and tasty, expensive to eat in, was about 35 a head for us all in with drinks. No one had more than 2 drinks. Music was a little loud for my taste and not authentic. Air con a touch cold. Service pleasant and quick. All in all pretty good 👍

Ordered a chicken tikka masalla and chicken tikka starter along with sag aloo and the only taste u got was fire 🔥 , burnt my taste buds beyond repair , all of these items are supposed to be flavoursome and mild but they had one level which is vindaloo. The chicken tikka starter was grey and drowned in water with not the normal onions and peppers certainly was not normal. Would not recommend this to anyone .

Waited nearly a hour for the food to come out and had to ask! Offered a free drink for the inconvenience. For a restaurant with few tables wouldn't expect to wait this long. Shame as it local but won't go again.

A really great restaurant, it's quite small - nothing wrong with that - the food excellent & sensibly priced. Been there a few times now & always enjoy it.

Went on a Friday evening and thought it was going to be busy but it was not so busy and I have to say I was blown away with the food I had, it was the tastiest and I loved it 😋😋🍻

First time using this restaurant. We chose online ordering for home delivery. Food arrived promptly and everything was really tasty with good sized portions. Will definitely be our first choice from now on.

Food was excellent as always, but even though it was a busy night I think that waiting just over an hour for the food to arrive is poor.

Not sure why people like this place so much. The food is okay at best, but it was always swimming in oil.

The worst Indian takeaway to date. POPPADOMS have successfully managed to improve on their last horrendous effort and have finally tipped me over the edge! Someone has clearly tripped and tipped an entire tub of coconut into every dish we ordered, it was so sweet I have booked a diabetes check. I think the naan was made last year and was only suitable for paving slabs. The level of spice depends on the moons orbit, I suggest you get your mouth fireproofed before attempting the poppadoms curry challenge. I have now booked myself in to have my eyebrows put back on with tattoos. Delivery time is accurate as per GMT+5.30 not UK time. Happy F****** Mothers Day

Tried for the first time , had a very minor hiccup . Excellent driver and management staff . but the food is were it counts and yes we will be ordering again.

Lovely food and great service would recommend this little restaurant nothing to much trouble for the staff went as a couple and there was no rush to order can have a drink at your leisure and then order your food

I ordered some food online as family we were crabing some curry. If you have eating indian authentic food , you wouldnt want to eat here.

Went for a meal and have to say the food was excellent. Doesn't look great from the outside but the food made up for it. Photo is just of the starter!

Takeaway food used to be superb. Recent order was disappointing, nan was inedible (dry and stale), could barely find chicken in Chicken Saag which was watery. Will not order again, but I am sure that will be a relief to their delivery staff who was clearly not happy with dropping off at my door.

Food was yummy but the lamb saag portion very small not even half of the normal box.

Food was nice , but portion sizes are now in half. Nahn bread half the size , mixed starter half the size. Used to be very good value , but now I think I'll look elsewhere.

Superb takeaway food was excellent and delivery was quick

Outstanding evening with fantastic food and great service. Service wise, I can only describe it as one of the most pleasant, non-intrusive and genuine of experiences. Softly spoken, great smiles and nothing is a bother. The way customers were interacted was just the level you would require. Food wise, I and chicken tikka massala, keema naan, special fried rice and also poppadoms to start. Main course was superb, excellent flavours and one of the best around this area I've visited. Keema naan, meat on top rather than inside, was just genius and I don't think I could ever eat a basic keema naan again, such a simple thing to be happy about but truly mind blown. Slight constructive criticisms as follows: mint sauce served with poppadoms, slightly bland and lacked texture but for those who like subtlety, than you won't be bothered by this. Special fried rice, it was boiled rice with egg and peas, although it tasted nice, its slightly not what you exactly pay for. Overall, 100% will recommend to anyone and will certainly be visiting again

Worst Indian I've had in a long time, mint sauce was tasteless and the mango chutney was extremely runny (water like consistency). The tikka and korma sauces were like they came from a jar and the chicken was extremely dry. Feel robbed right now.

Used to be lovely delicious food but our last order was such a disappointment the quality was really bad, dry chicken, burnt onion bharji, dry half size portion of mixed starter. Standards need definitely looking at! I won't be ordering again, shame!

New to the area and What a little find this place is . Small , cosy and great service . Food was incredible and very tasty . Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be visiting here again or getting a takeaway ! Would recommend.

Orders and arrived 10 min early with our food ready to go. Tikka masala was nice as was the chicken bhuna. Very big portions. The P.Naan was great however much more thinner than other indian restaurants but very tasty. Overall very happy with the service and food altogether

Friendly staff, delivered before the time stated over the phone (or you can pre order online and is always on time) delicious food, lots of great flavours and really good value for money. Always our go to for an Indian takeaway in Farnborough!

Staff are always helpful and polite. They know what to suggest if a customer isn't sure on what to pick. Food takes a bit of time, but we didn't feel like we waited way too long as it's cooked to order. Great atmosphere as not a lot of seating inside. Great placs to come for a birthday dinner and they will do their best to accommodate bigger groups if ooked ahead with enoigh notice.

Had a lovely meal here on Sunday evening, and was a perfect short detour from a long journey along the M3. Serving staff were very friendly and attentive, and interior is warm and inviting. We ordered the Tadka Dahl and the Chettinad. Food arrived promptly, was fresh, well-presented and delicious. All for an extremely reasonable price. We’ll definitely be stopping here again on our M3 travels.

We love poppodums. We have had many meals there at the restaurant. Really first class service delicious food. Takeaway is just as good. Great food delivered on time.

Great starters, pashwawi nan was top draw, BUT the chicken in the chicken vindaloo was too chunky and hard, not tender.😔

Top Notch Indian Food. Delicious Tandoori Chicken(Nostalgic Indian taste), Dal Makhani & Naan Bread. The restaurant decided to treat me with some free popadoms and mango chutney. Thank you, first class customer service.

My first time at poppadoms n I didn't like it korma didn't taste like a korma wasn't creamy at all n other bits weren't nice either I was very gutted considering I spent a lot

Been eating at Popadoms for over 20 years. Amazing flavours and quality dishes. Only once have I had a poor dish from there (I think that was down to a new chef). An amazing return in all the time I've eaten there. Top marks from me! A particular favourite of mine is Chicken Nashilla 😙👌

We used to eat in here at least once a month and since March 2020 have ordered takeaways which have been great. However the last 4 or 5 times have been very hit and miss, with tonight's being a definite 'miss'. The Monsourri chicken which was always a favourite of mine tasted nothing like it had previously with no depth of flavour. The butter chicken was made up from what seemed like off-cuts of chicken, not the usual chunks of chicken we've come to expect and the same kind of thing was in the Monsourri. The 3rd meal was the standard Chicken Curry, but as we'd never tried that before, didn't know any different. The meal we'd had delivered the previous month was stunning and like we were used to, but this lack of consistency makes us doubt how often we'll go to Popadoms again, which is a big shame as we've been going there pretty much since it opened.

We used to be regular customers here but after tonight's experience can't say we will be going there again! Had trouble ordering online so phoned them up to place the order (3 mains with rice and 2 naan) and paid for it was told it would take about an hour (understandable for a Saturday night) however when the order hadn't turned up 1hr 30mins after ordering I called and was told that it was on its way... 40 minuets still nothing called them up and turns out the order didn't get sent through to the kitchen! Very disappointing now waiting for a refund and won't be returning and will be going else where! Ended up having to go to Cove Onon and had a very nice battered sausage and chips

I had the chicken korma best one in a long time. Will definitely have it again

Just wanted to say had a really nice lockdown delivery this evening from Popadoms. Online ordering was easy, delivery was quick, food quality very tasty and arrived piping hot. This was first time ordering with them and will definitely be going back for any future curries as been let down before from other local restaurants in Farnborough.

Our third takeaway and is as enjoyable as the first..lovely hot and fresh and very tasty..and a smiling face with delivery..Well done Popadoms.😀😀😀😀

We have been using Poppadoms for many years but I think I standards are slipping. We ordered a home delivery this evening and when it arrived it was barely warm, so I rang to let them k ow and we got a partial refund which fine, but on my second mouthful of the curry there aere 2 long hairs in it. phoned and got a full refund,but wont be using them again.

Such a shame used to be a good local takeaway but over last few months quality has been very bad, dry tasteless food. Shame if have changed chefs, will now be looking for a new better Indian

Takeaways don’t often feature in my reviews, but this one is worth it - in the menu there was a new item - Mustang Chicken - glad I tried it was so nice - fusion of Indian and a hint of Chinese. We don’t go anywhere else for Indian takeaways now - Popadoms have (fingers crossed) never failed to deliver on quality.

What can I say excellent little place never fails to serve up the best food. We were a party of three enjoying a girlie catch up had to wait a little Longer than usual but this was because it was so busy due to the discount promotion yet as always the food was excellent and the portion sizes above average the staff were helpful and polite would recommend this little place

Came here for a birthday meal for a friend and we were delighted with our experience. The food is out of this world! We asked our waiter to order for us we given a wonderful array of different food that was a mix of Nepalese and Indian. For sure, we will be back here! :)

Fantastic food fantastic service

Food is great, tasty and cooked to order. Staff are very friendly, never been disappointed either eating there or take away. Restaurant is very clean and they look after their customers.

After having Ghandi’s revenge all night, I have decided to write this review. We ordered to separate curries and got two exactly the same, the sides looked like they had be regurgitated by a small animal and didn’t taste much better. Then to top it all off my favourite nan bread (keema nan) looked like it had been running across the road when it got hit by truck, I have never in all my days had such a disgusting meal and shall not be using them again!

Very disappointed this evening have used Popadoms many times . I had large prawns biryani with vegetable curry. 5 prawns in the biryani and 1 tiny piece of potatoe lots of sweet corn and a couple of pieces of green pepper (vegetable curry).!!! Not at all like a 'proper biryani' . My husband had Lamb Dhansk usally hot and sweet but which he said tasted like a normal curry. Don't know what's gone wrong !!!

Well what a lovely surprise I haven eaten here in years and all I can say I wish I had. The food is excellent and quite large dishes. The staff are very polite and friendly and there is no rush at all love this place

In truth, we only went here because we couldn't get into one of the two Weatherspoons in the area. What a blessing that turned out to be.

Ordered for delivery, took about 90 mins to deliver, the food was cold, the curry watery and delivery driver was rude. All in all not a great experience and won’t be ordering delivery again.

Got take out and was not given what was asked for and even burnt the popadoms disappointed

Waited forever and a day for my delivery, left on hold for 10 minutes listening to the staff in the back ground. Avoid delivery like the plague.

Lovely little place to eat. Small enough to mean you great service but they do the most amazing food. Definitely the best Indian in Farnborough by far. They also do take away with free delivery and as they have Nepalese chefs tou get a few Nepalese items to choose from as well.
