Honestly, are you really reading a review for a pound bakery? It's cheap, the food tastes good, it's a bakery and the staff are nice. Simples.

The Pound Bakery is located in the main precinct in Accrington town centre. It provides a wide range of baked goods, all made on the premises. They are very low in price however the quality has always been good. Particularly delicious are the warm sausage rolls and the Cornish pasties. They are generous in size, well filled and relatively nutritious. The staff are pleasant and service is usually quick.

Great choice of food both hot & cold. Always one of the best food deals to be had here, Can feed two of us for less than £5, inc a drink (*_*)

Value for money.... it is a pound bakery after all, cheap and cheerful. Not for me but doesn't mean to say others may find this bakery ok, worth a try and make up your own mind.

This is the only place to buy Cornish Pasties and Sausage Rolls. They are both a very generous size and come at a price of 2 for £1 (you can mix and match). There is also a wide range of other pies and cakes etc. The Cornish Pasties are the best I have ever tasted and can form the basis for a dinner or just be eaten as a snack. Either way, they are delicious and quite filling. The quality of what's inside appears to be of a good standard

Having driven past Checco’s numerous times and saying we must eat there, we finally went for dinner last night with some friends. The premises are traditional Italian and quaint For starters we had deep fried Brie, meatballs, chicken livers and the salt & pepper halloumi from the specials menu. All dishes were hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. For mains we had pizza, chicken, fillet Rossini and pasta sugo from the specials. Again every dish was great. We shared some puddings (tiramisu & profiteroles) which finished off the meal perfectly. Service was polite & friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back soon!
