Pound Bakery in Warrington

I`ve also been to the shop in St Helens. Everything I`ve bought has been under-seasoned. Shame really as it`s great value but really just needs a bit of salt and pepper. My daughter agreed. I had a pasty and she had a meat and potato pie. Come on Poundbakery, put some salt in and I`ll be back!

the clue is in the name cheap eats and drinks but value for money good place to go for a snack or drink while in golden square

I regually go to pound bakery for a sausage roll and they are always so hot and tasty also so are the gingerbreads they are delicious

always busy some time to busy staff are usually helpful and ok food most of it is good some could be better but you get what you pay for

Perhaps the worst tasting food you can buy in Warrington, I called in to grab a sausage roll on way to work but I soon realised my mistake when I saw the grease coming through the bag before I had even left the store.....one bite and they went in the bin. Never to return

not too keen on meat sausage rolls so i was intrigued to see they sold vegetarian sausage rolls. not dissapointed very happy and very delicious. also really quick service

Great chain of snack shops to get a pie or pastie etc. Their 2 for a pound items are smaller than rivals, but quite frankly they still represent excellent value. Ther'e tasty without being top class. If you want a quick value snack they probably can't be beaten.

the pound bakers is ideal for a snack or a drink situated in the golden square shoping comlex just because its cheap does not mean the food and drink are not good because they are

What you get is what you pay for , fast service quality ok. Good if on a tight budget , certainly a lot of choice , hot and cold food.

hot pasties are unde rfiiled, and usually loaded with black pepper, cakes are nice, and the sandwiches are good for a pound.

It was very quick and worth the pound I spent. One of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten and for only a pound. I was incredibly impressed and continue to go as it is such good value

Had a short time to grab a sandwich on the way to the bus station and was in and out in no time. The queue for the other pastry shop was stretched out the door?? I walked into Pound Bakery, grabbed a cheese sandwich, handed the lady £1 and walked out the door... Without even letting go of the sandwich! Best pound spent

The pies and pasties are really tasty here and you can usual get the two for a pound offer so you can mix and match. But honesty for a pound you get a quality freshly made pie etc with lots of filling and to me very good value indeed. The staff always seem very friendly and welcoming.

YES IT IS A POUND FOR EVERYTHING IN THERE and for what you pay for a pound you get more than a pounds worth of value they serve great sandwiches and sausage rolls. when you can get a 500ml bottle of fanta for £1 whereas in asda it is £1.25 very happy and a tuna sandwich for £1 whereas in asda it is £2.00 and £1.70 in greggs it is very good value for what you get

Have noticed items like sausage rolls have shrunk, as have the baguettes. Ends now cut off but still £1. Liked the full baguette, will give them a miss now

Good value and edible. Been in a few times late on and its a bit bare but thats the case with all the bakers. My first choice for a bit of pasty action.

Part of the Sayers bakery group, same quality as Sayers, at an excellent price. Good fast service, so if your in s hurry no problem. Only called in for one meat and potatoe pie, but was offered two for a £1 ( one was 80p )

I overheard someone moaning that the sandwiches look 'unfinished'. Well, they cost £1 so don't expect too much but you know what, they will do. Personally, I do prefer more to the sandwiches but the cakes and naughty treats are just as good as more expenses places.

Does exactly what it sez on the tin, food for a pound, highly recommend the carrot cake, 2 for pound, bargain!!

I have found most of the products in the shop to be very good for the price. good and hot with reasonable fillings. I would be encouraged to come more often if the staff were a little more friendly towards the customer.

Pound bakery are a company that gives cheap and afforable pies, Sandwhiches and cakes/drinks for a pound it gets very busy during dinner time. Staff are helpful and can get quite annoying being a small shop queing up and walking round the way you came in however this is just a minor. Food is delicious from steak pasties (Pies) to pizza slices or tuna baggettes. enjoy eating here when shopping in warrington shame they cannot create a space to sit out side like table and chairs and order food ect
