Needs a bit of a spruce up, but very clean, polite staff and a great location for the ferries

No air conditioning; rooms are extremely hot and uncomfortable Outdated, noisy fans from the 90s No food available on the return trip Long wait times for a table at the adjacent overpriced pub with poor quality food We booked Premier Inn for both legs of our trip to Europe, expecting a comfortable and pleasant stay. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. Issues: No Air Conditioning: The rooms were unbearably hot with no air conditioning. The only cooling option was a noisy, outdated fan from the 90s, making it difficult to sleep or relax. Lack of Food: On our return trip, there was no food available. We were told we couldn’t get a table for three hours at the adjacent pub, which we had tried on the way up and found to be overpriced with poor quality food. The kitchen staff there were noisy and rude. Alternative Dining: We ended up getting food from a local Chinese takeaway and had to eat it in our room, which was not ideal for a family with kids. I would never stay here again and highly recommend you push on to the next hotel to stay. This Premier Inn falls short of its name and expectations in every possible way. Save yourself the trouble and find a better place to stay.

Staff seemed pleasant enough and location is good in terms of access to Dover including ample parking, however a few major things let it down. In a nutshell, bring an airfreshner, check your heating works, don't rely on having internet and don't bother getting the breakfast. Stayed for one night. Upomln entering, the hotel smells quite stale. In our room the window was open. Not an issue to get some fresh air except the room was now cold and the wireless thermostat in our room didn't work. Secondly, you couldn't have a shower for more than a minute because the water wouldn't drain properly and the bath would fill up with waste water. Thirdly, the wifi is a complete joke. They state on the website that you can skype. You can't even load a webpage on their ridiculous wifi with a upload speed of 0.36mb. On top of this, the wifi keeps disconnecting and you have to keep going through the validation process. Lastly, this unfortunately annoyed me the most. They advertise the famous unlimited breakfast. I prepaid for this. All hot food items have to be ordered through waitress/waiter and are therefore not on display. On top of this, they missed a breakfast item that I ordered and they never came round again so I could order more food. In addition the breakfast was flavourless like it had been reheated. So much for unlimited.

My first choice for a stopover when getting an early ferry. The usual Premier Inn standards. Friendly helpful staff, comfy bed etc. The only negative is that the free wifi is slow and you need to pay extra for a decent speed. Given that there is poor or no 4G signal locally it feels....wrong.

Premier Inn Dover has a wonderful service for their guests. My wife has selected this hotel for celebrating my birthday 🎂 The manager of the hotel Dana was amazing and humble with the guests. Staffs were kind and friendly also. We are taking excellent experience with us❤️

I went to watch the football very nice pub with friendly barmaid. Also guest ale was only £4.20 a pint and very tasty. One slight grip was that the juke box was on making the commentary on the match hard to hear. As the pub was fairly empty and most customers seemed to be watching the match (it was a 5.30pm kick off) I would hope for the juke box to be off. I will definitely come back again but not to see the football unless the jukebox is muted during the match.

Really disappointed and probably won't use again. So booked a table weeks in advance for New years day for 6pm. Knowing there wasn't a lot open that night in the area and we want a decent meal ending a brilliant couple of nights here and having dined here many times before over the years. But unfortunately the limited menu was literally sold out of any thing containing a meat product apart from the burgers. No chicken wings, steak or lamb?? Know surly whoever is ordering the kitchen supplies knows how many guess you have in the hotel and booking plus. Allowing for any walk-ins you can quite easily have your kitchen stocked with plenty of food for your bookings that evening, especially being part of the hotel. Not everyone wants fish & chips. Now Sophie the young waitress was fantastic, she was very professional and apologetic but I did stress that it wasn't her fault or problem. It completely lays at the feet of the kitchen. As for the limited food we received the burgers were OK but smoothed in sauce. crab on potato totts was awful. Just a smigging of crab served on Icelands frozen potato totts. On my photos you can see pervious reviews and meals eaten here.
