Premier Inn East Grinstead hotel in Tandridge

Older hotel but clean and comfortable as expected.

Premier inn very close to where we were going convenient parking and access pub next door for food good for night away

We were forced to check out after only three hours because we realised a man was standing right outside our room door eavesdropping! Once we banged on the inside of our door he legged it. We packed our bags and reported the pervert straight away! On our way out we informed the receptionist. She apologised for the unfortunate situation, but didn’t refund us for our brief stay (Also, she only notified us that she’d changed our specially requested room because of ‘maintenance issues’ once we arrived.). Definitely wouldn’t recommend or stay again. We’re traumatised!

Sadly there to attend the funeral of a dear friend. Room clean, tidy and welcoming. Bed extremely comfortable. Friendly staff. The Star Inn also warrants recognition for its great food, friendly staff and atmosphere.

Best place to sleep while in East Grinstead

such a great reception. turned up 45 mins early. gentleman helped get us in rooms early. also helped with directions to nearby shops and supermarkets. rooms are standard. looked clean when we entered. beds are super comfy. no noise from outside, busy road.

Unfortunately the breakfast was poor.

Good night sleep guaranteed 😴 The breakfast however in this Premier Inn branch can/should be avoided as it is below the expected standard.

I stay in premier inns often for work this one is quite small but was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was in an adjacent pub and the staff were very attentive and the hot food was cooked individually so was great. Large sufficient car park

All I can say is WOW. I've been a cleaner for 14 years and I have very high standards. This is the cleanest hotel I have been in so well done to all the cleaners. When I checked in, the lovely and friendly lady on reception called Aison A was extremely welcoming. She was very quick to check me in as I had a migraine, she also made sure I was checked in for breakfast the following morning, I can't fault her at all. The only thing I would say is that breakfast should start at 6.30am rather than 7.30am as I have to rush my breakfast to get to where I want by a certain time. Overall they delivered a great service. I would stay here again.

The Star next door is also lovely

Cheap and very accessible, breakfast was cheap and worth it served hot and the portion is quite generous. Staff are welcoming and helpful

Room was clean and warm. The secondary glazing helped to eliminate noise from the nearby road .

Lovely PI, very conveniently located for my preferred parking for Gatwick Airport. Very friendly chap on reception. Usual very comfortable rooms and a great night's sleep.

Had a very pleasant stay here,cannot fault it in anyway. Staff were so helpful and friendly. The restaurant door where you can get breakfast and all meals for the day had delicious food. Again the staff were lovely and so obliging. 100 per cent.

Stay at many premier inns every month through work. This is one of the poorest conditioned one I have seen. Bathrooms are pretty much falling apart. The local restaurant for breakfast, the star inn serves a very sub-standard breakfast too. Would not return.

Friendly staff, clean room, good location. Fair amount of noise through walls/ceiling from adjoining rooms. £4 for a bottle of water! £3 for a bar of chocolate. Exterior is tired and lacking upkeep

Stayed for work. Room OK, but no WiFi available. Was told to use local pub WiFi but < 1 bar signal.

Good room and decently tidy, only lost a star as shower head was terrible and only drips water. Friendly check in staff. No issues

Left Gatwick at 2am stopped here to see if there was a room before a 4 hour drive back home as yet again the M25 was experiencing problems,, And was told that they was fully booked when they quite clearly was not and had an almost empty car park, Night staff obviously couldn't be bothered to check us in, so we didn't even get an experience of this hotel. Really not what I would expect from a major hotel chain. Going to make a complaint to head office. Can anyone really afford to be turning customers away
