We stayed here over the weekend as visiting friends. We checked in fine and was given a room in the main building. We was right down the end of the corridor & Approaching our room 206 there was no lighting I noticed outside our room. Like other reviews I read previously we noticed a slightly damp smell, it wasn't too overbearing but noticeable . We were situated on the motorway side so we wanted to make sure our heating/cooling system was working. Sadly it didn't turn on. So we headed back to reception. The lady on the desk promptly sorted this and gave us a new room, this time in the other building left outside of reception. I must say this was so much better. Newer , modern rooms and definitely warmer , we felt comfortable straight away. I feel the rooms in the main building are in need of modernisation. Slept well , beds comfy and lovely soft bedding. However I woke up with awful neck strain as the pillow didn't agree with me. Breakfast we opted for full English. Was fairly busy as it was Saturday morning. The hot drinks/juices and continental were well stocked. The two toasters were situated in the corner, which wasn't ideal as you had to squeeze past a table and then you'd have to squeeze back past the people queing to make their toast when the toast was finally ready. I feel this could be moved to a place with a bit more wiggle room. McDonald's and M & S food are a stones throw away. A good stay overall, quiet nights sleep would stay again if in the area. I'd throughly recommend a room in the outer annex building. Photo 1 was from our first room and photo 2 is the room we moved to.

Stayed at overnight at Petersfield Premier Inn while in the area for a family wedding. The manager Jay was fantastic going above and beyond, upgrading our room and sorting an early check in so we could get changed after a 4 hour drive down. The room was brilliant for a family of 4 too.

The room was fine, standard premier inn. I found the initial interaction with staff a little abrupt and had to ask for info such as where breakfast is etc. Also we were staying in a family room in an annex and were told we could only have one room key which was a pain. We did have a problem in that the second bed wasn't made up and no towels etc. When we went down to reception and spoke to a different member of staff these issued were addressed quickly and professionally on what loked like a busy night, thank you for that.

Spacious rooms and basic facilities but good value for money. Could do with a bit of tlc but don't let that stop you staying there. The beds are so comfy and the heating system works very well. Excellent location as options for breakfast on your doorstep.

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was clean and the bed very comfortable. The hotel was having problems with deliveries for the restaurant. They kept us informed and we still had a lovely meal in the restaurant. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming despite the problems thay were experiencing. We would definitely go back.

My husband and I visited the Premier Inn Petersfield the weekend of the 6th-8th of December, we travelled down from North Lincolnshire and were delayed by a few hours due to an accident on the roads, I rang the Hotel and spoke to a lovely lady on reception called Debs, who put our minds at rest that the reception was manned 24/7 so any delay would not impact on checking in and she wished us a safe journey (this was the weekend of storn Darrah) On arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted by Debs at reception and shown to our room which was impeccably clean, and she had left us a a little basket of extra tea, coffee and milk in our room with a lovely personal note, she also made sure our room was to our liking and asked if we needed any extra towels etc not to hesitate to ask, she was extremely helpful and professional. As previously stated the room we had (210) was clean and tidy, the shower room was clean and well stocked with shower gel, hand wash and clean towels. The bed was extremely comfortable, best nights sleep we've had while travelling, so a big plus point for both of us. I would highly recommend this hotel if passing through the area, the cost is reasonable, and the beefeater restaurant and bar adjacent to the hotel is great for breakfast or an evening meal (we just had the breakfast) there is a mcdonalds opposite and also a fairly priced garage on site. On a personal note I would like to thank Debs for making us feel so welcome, she went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. We will definitely be coming back the next time we visit family who live in the area.

Not the best Premier Inn we’ve stayed at but good enough for a couple of nights. Every single member of staff except one were friendly and helpful. We had a small breakfast issue which staff rectified without fuss. Room clean and comfortable, with friendly room attendant ladies. Interestingly we were not charged to park. Attached Beefeater is overdue a bit of TLC as other reviewers mention, but food was good and staff friendly and helpful in the main. Yes the inn is adjacent to the busy A3 but glazing eliminated noise for us. I would return if in vicinity again.

Lovely hotel, gentleman on reception went above and beyond for my parents whose air conditioning unit wasn't working properly, unfortunately he was on the receiving end of my hot and agitated Dad but remained calm, professional, polite and provided him with 3 fans (it's very warm here right now). Our room is amazing, clean and extremely comfortable. Food in the restaurant is lovely, only 1 grumble.....waitress brought food out and told us we had to get our own cutlery, had we known this beforehand we would have got it but to be fair, she could have brought it over when she noticed we didn't have any. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation

Location is the only let down of the Premier Inn experience here. Located next to the A3 at a service station. McDonalds, garage forecourt or Beef Eater are your main dining options, and the location is a good (and difficult) walk to the town.

10 of us celebrated a Christmas get together. We had a small room with log burning stove to ourselves which was perfect. The set lunch menu was very good indeed and the service couldn't have been better. All of us said we'll definitely go back with other friends and family.

Just had a large party of us there having Christmas lunch. The food was really beautiful, piping hot, clearly home made, and perfect portions and combinations. A really classy meal. Super friendly and helpful staff, and a lovely atmosphere.

Service was good but food terrible. I ordered fish finger sandwich- it came out on soggy white bread.. it represented something a student would throw together after coming home drunk. Zero presentation zero taste.

I recently had a frustrating experience at this pub. I received an £85 parking fine for parking just 10 minutes, during which I bought a coke. I've tried calling the pub multiple times, but their phone number never answers, and there’s no way to email them a copy of the transaction. Most places like golf clubs and hotels have clear signage or an iPad to validate parking when you enter the premises, or someone asks you to do it. And if you do get a fine but can prove you were a paying customer, they waive it. But this pub is different. I wasn’t looking for a sign outside because, honestly, it’s a pub – you don’t expect a parking validation policy. I want to warn others: be careful when visiting this pub and parking. You might end up with a hefty fine for a quick visit. It’s clear they don’t prioritise customer service or transparency. Instead of making themselves available for contact, they seem to prefer hiding behind the supposed legitimacy of there being clear signage in the car park, while unfairly taking your hard-earned cash.
