Pret a Manger in City of London, Westminster

Fast, efficient service from the Barista’s at Pret, no matter the time of day. I especially enjoy the Pret chocolate chip cookie, which is far superior to cookies from rival coffee chains (Starbucks et al). The cookie has the right amount of crunch, with a soft, buttery centre and generous chunks of melted chocolate chips. The cookie is simple yet flawlessly executed and always served with a smile from the friendly staff. Wow!

Bought a posh cheddar baguette, went to eat in the park, discovered the baguette was burnt and bitter, brought it back after a bite, thinking it would be an easy swap out, no problems. Was told that that’s how they are supposed to be and he wouldn’t swap it for me, then refunded it with a surly attitude and made me purchase the same item. Really poor customer service. Like a lot of reviews here, the atmosphere in the place is overly aggressive and made me feel uncomfortable.

Good place for a quick sandwich.

Great spot to quickly grab breakfast. They don't cook it it's already on the shelf, you just grab it buy it, and the heat it. Truly delicious as well

I have been to this pret 3 times recently and on every ocasion the coffee is not up to the standards of the other branches. People working there seem to have a careless attitude.

The worse coffee ever!! Staff have no idea how to make coffee. Boiling and very watery. Tried to give feedback and short Indian guy with foul breath became very aggressive. Dreadful place. AVOID!

The staff here have the commuter rush DOWN. Slick but friendly service. Get you coffee quickly in and out.

Amazing service from the whole team who memorised my order of a white strong cappuccino the first time I ordered it and provide amazing service. The whole team are friendly and welcoming and it’s by far my favourite coffee shop. I need lots of coffee and there is only one place I’d get it around here.

Quite confrontational in here. I ordered an extra hot oat latte, which was the same as the person before me. An Oat latte was called out, and soon after, so was the extra hot. As soon as I heard, I went up to the counter and mentioned this. The barrister asked if the coffee was hot enough, to which I responded no. She then made a remark and said: "Well, it was because you took someone else's" I reminded her that the lady infront had the same order. To which she responded: "There's a BIG difference!" I asked if there was a problem making my coffee hotter? Honestly, I have never had this issue before. In no way have I ever been made to feel uncomfortable at the numerous Pret's I have visited. The Barrister was also quite huffy, and was about to reuse the cap that fell on the floor! In addition, I was 1/3 people in the store. I didn't see the need for this type of behaviour. When visiting this store, the servers are confrontational. So, word of advice, DO NOT TAKE THE WRONG ORDER, EVEN IF IT SOUNDS SIMILAR TO YOURS! RECONFIRM OTHERWISE THEY'LL HIT YOU WITH A FEW SNIDE COMMENTS. I paid for my coffee it wasn't free and I mistook someone else's order for mine. Discipline on behaviours comes to mind, as does good customer service!! That's all, thanks!!

Came in not expecting much from the pret. I thought “It’s just a pret, how special could it be?” How far I was from understanding the truth of how absolutely brilliant it was. The coffee and food were great but it was really the customer service that makes the place shine! I have never felt so valued in a pret by those working there. Had good conversations about the best food options never failing to give me the right choices. Hopefully they are doing well! Hope to come back to familiar faces or at least have the same atmosphere as before!!

Very bad! Lady took 2 times my cocacola 1,90£. No chek. Just rude face. Mayby becose I have no hair, cancer....! Go in another place..

I always love to go to Pret A Manger, although I think it means “ready to eat” in French ( I speak a little bit of French ) they have very good vegetarian options which are delicious, and also they are very quick when they work, I have one concern though… they have the new hot chocolate “ marry berry hot chocolate “ - I think - and in the ads it has whipped cream, but in reality, they always run out of it,

The best Pret!!!! I am using over 1 year pret at different locations (due to work), but Villiers Street is so far the BEST. The service is always excellent, team is super friendly and they really care about their customers. Thank you Pret's heroes for always looking after me and the rest of customers. Dale, Cosmin, Mohamed, Christian..and the rest of the team members I am not aware of the names...thank you so much for your efficient and excellent customer service.

Purtroppo nella mia esperienza i Pret a Manger, oltre a portare una pessima calligrafia francese, non sono mai apparsi come validi posti dove mangiare a basso costo. Il servizio dimostra di essere sempre gestito ai minimi assoluti per massimizzare il profitto del luogo, ai danni del consumatore, lavoratori e del servizio. I panini sono perlopiù scadenti e troppo costosi per quanto poco offrono, ricordando un po' la stessa sindrome che affligge i Mcdonalds.

Always friendly staff despite being a regular in the busiest of times. Familiar faces happy to say hello and being personable. Wide selection of drinks and food, always fresh and available. This is my regular however all Pret stores would receive a similar review, many thanks.

Fantastic service from the staff at this store. Shame I didn’t take the baristas name but he was very polite and hygienically clean, cleaning as he went along and made the perfect latte. I definitely will be using this store again.

I entered the store at about 10:10 am this morning as everyday as it is my usual stop to collect coffee before work. However, the staff today was quite different than usual. The lady collecting my order acted a bit funny murmuring to her colleagues on seeing me, while i was placing my order but I just ignored it thinking maybe it’s just some good banter between them. As I proceeded to wait for my coffee I realised that every other customer that came in after me was served before I was and eventually the whole store got empty after a long process of atleast 10 customers who were served before me even though I came first. Even when I was the only one who was left in the store her it was her colleague who kindly pointed out that I wasn’t served while everyone at the counter was actually aware of what exactly was happening and knew that I was waiting for my order. Her colleague even apologised to me as even he noticed the biased behaviour done by other staff members. Not sure why I was treated like that or if it had anything to do with the colour of my skin. I have been a regular customer for months now but today what happened felt extremely disrespectful. I hope you kindly please take some action about this.

They don't respect the opening times they have (apart of constant changes they donon them) and sometimes, they don't even bother to open.

In the past week I’ve had my orders forgotten, had to remind them and still not gotten my coffee. Plenty of other places for coffee on Villiers Street and other Prets. Just avoid this one.

🥪 Not many items left when we went (6pm) but the Tuna Toastie was delicious, as a hot option! Staff were nice but not so attentive. Good option for a quick bite

No communication between the till and the baristas. Coffees have been done in disorder, so I have to wait a lot for my coffee, even if I arrived before other clients. I asked for a mocha and I had a late... 1st and Last time there !

Friendly staff and quick service.

Toilet is still out of order, apparently "flooding" for in excess of 2 months. Unacceptable to host sit in customers and not offer hygiene facilities for this period. How can the management not find the effort to call someone to fix this serious issue? Disgusting. I spit on your establishment.

Few times that I came to this branch for a smoothie I've been told that the because the shop is closing in 10-15 min the smoothie machine have already been closed! What's next they close the tils before the closing time?? Is the staff in this branch really this lazy? I've worked in a pret a few years ago, and we've always closed all the machines after the closing time.

This Pret A Manger, is near Trafalgar Square. Went in there when the so called extinction rebeliation where claiming to be camping out in the square. The place was full of crusty middle age rejects from Greenham Common days. Who have now left London and gone back to their little village bubbles in Oxfordshire and the likes of. Bought my coffee and left rather rapidly, as I felt I didn't fit in with their beliefs of the global world, and couldn't understand why they where in an establishment obviously run by Satan in their eyes. Double standards???

Convenient if you're heading to the theatre and all resta in the area are full up

One of the best "fast-food" type restaurants. Great service, fresh food. You pay a bit more if you "eat here" and are not taking out. Clean, relatively inexpensive place. Certainly recommended.

The variety of salads, sandwiches and beverages is just absolutely unbelievable. I have never gone in here and not enjoyed my meal.

Busy day of the week is a Saturday morning, in a busy part of town. Staff were efficient and speedy and chatty.. coffee was up to standard. Standing room only.. so be prepared and with a busy place comes the que for the loo..

Stopped in here for a coffee on the way home and the staff were the friendliest and funniest I have come across. He gave me some gentle ribbing over my choice of travel mug (a Disney one!) and it really made my day. Coffee is pretty good too and quick service. Also you get a 50p discount for using a trustable mug!

Not up to the normal high standards of customer serviced when I visited

Burnt scalding milk and no apology- Pret are usually very good and consistent. I waited 20 minutes to drink my coffee while eating my meal and I still burnt my whole mouth and tongue. Not a big deal but it is the first time in years this has happened in a Pret. They have a thermometer but in this one they clearly don't use it.

Quick in and out for easy take away.

The food is good quality for reasonable prices. I expected it to be more, but it wasn't. The staff was very friendly. The coffee wasn't the best, but I would go back for another try because I believe it was just the drink that I chose. I love the options of getting fruit, salad, or sandwhich with whole wheat bread.

Small Pret with no proper seating. Designed primarily for takeaways. Full range of foods you would expect (sandwiches, wraps, salads, hot cabinet, snacks and pastries) and it's still fairly well stocked even by 9am. Good if you're passing from Charing Cross over the river or vice versa and need to grab something to eat. Don't worry if the queue is long - staff are friendly and quick, though don't expect much conversation as there will be five other people behind you waiting.

Small with very limited seating. But extremely quick service (phenomenally quick) and friendly staff - as ever in Pret.

The coffee machine here is routinely manned by what I can only believe is some kind of sun sorcerer. I am routinely awestruck by the temperature he manages to coax the milk too, it is a wonder it does not evaporate at his very touch. If you want a scorching coffee which at the very first sip will render your taste buds unusable for a few days then this is the pret for you!! However, I for one quite like to use my taste buds....
