Pret a Manger in City of London, Westminster

Allam was more abrupt than a dictator in removing us from our seat 45 minutes before they closed. Also they're mixing mops and buckets from different areas of the business - probably toilet mop for the kitchen floor.

Lovely Pret shop. Staff are great especially Hardik.

There is always one along the way and it's great to already know what to expect in terms of standard and quality. There could be cheaper options to eat.

Very good Chicken pesto & rocket wrap nice coffee ☕ but too many people hanging around they just sit in there whoever is in charge grab the bull by the horns and throw them out.

I am incredibly disappointed with the experience my friends and I had at Pret. We arrived at 6:30 pm for a hot drink and a light bite, only to be met with shockingly poor customer service. We found an empty table for four and were just about to decide on our order when a staff member abruptly told us we had to move because they were closing part of the restaurant. Reluctantly, we shifted to another table on the other side, only to be informed that we couldn’t dine in and had to either move again or take our order to go. They were shutting down two-thirds of the restaurant to prepare for closing—despite it being only 6:30 pm and the shop not closing until 8:00 pm.To make matters worse, there were very few seats left in the tiny section they intended to keep open, and almost all were already occupied. So, with over an hour and a half left until closing, we were essentially forced out and left scrambling to find somewhere else to go. This whole experience was extremely frustrating, and out of principle, I will never be returning to Pret.

Just as good as the other Prets, plenty of seats available.

I recently visited Coffee Shop, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The staff seemed more focused on their phones than attending to customers. As a result, we had to wait an unreasonably long time for our coffee. This level of service is not acceptable, and I hope the management addresses this issue to improve the customer experience.

First Pret I've been to, so I can't compare. But, I found the staff rather unfriendly.. food was alright, nothing too special.

Usual range of Pret Fayre. Duck wrap seems to have more cucumber and less Duck each time. Be prepared to share with a person working on laptop trying to take up space of 4. Becoming pricey to eat in.

I’ve ordered the same tea hundreds of times both in this branch and other prets across London and I always request honey to go with it which I’ve never been declined as I feel as though it’s only a sensible thing to ask just like sugar or milk. This time I had a look first on display to see if there was any left and once I saw none I asked one of the staff to see if they had in their storage room. As someone who’s been to this place countless times, I didn’t find the way I was talked by the senior staff quite pleasing. She basically implied that honey is only for breakfast porridges which I’ve never heard of or been told by anyone. I’m ok them not having honey in stock as that’s no one’s fault but I do have issues people not checking what they have property. And if it’s really only available for porridges which I don’t even know is true or not I would like to see it written somewhere. I order the same tea same style 5,6 days a week. The way I was talked this afternoon I’m sorry but that is not the way you talk to a customer.

Shabby place with pre-cooked microwaved food of questionable quality: an insult for an average Italian.

First time I've been disappointed in a Pret. Cardboard ham and cheese sandwich. Not very nice in this Shaftesbury Ave one.

Great place for a decent coffee and chat. We always find a seat here, which is good in such a busy area. Polite staff.

Superb 'hidden' gem of a Pret in the heart of Soho . . . But shhhh, don't tell anyone!

It's not cheap at all. You have to read the ingredients of the dishes carefully, not always what is written on the product sticker describes it. Nice, clean place, extremely kind staff.

Normal standard , good clean, good coffee, polite. Nothing to criticise.

Only 1 out of 3 bathroom works.

I love a Pret. Don't get me wrong, quality of food and drinks is the same as any other Pret (i.e. well above average and dependable). However, this is the one Pret with the rudest staff anywhere I've been. Anything you can think of, they've done it: shout at customers, not listen to what they're saying, completely omit to put in the coffee order after one has paid, arguing in front of customers while the queue is waiting.

Ordered a decaf oat cappuccino, and for the first time this week in London it wasn't too hot, and the froth was incredible. Although the barista (the quick East Asian girl) was alone, she smashed it.

The manager there is so rude and always look unbothered by the job , very sad overall . Didn’t even say thank you while serving me and the other custumer . What a shame

Very busy and full of people in a rush, not a very comfortable location to stay for long periods, though I'm sure some budding writers and remote workers might enjoy that. The food and drink is standard Pret stuff and is good quality, the service is fast and seating is hectic.

Very friendly staff, packaged food was nice but 2 stars due to the state of the bathrooms. Completely dirty even at 8:30 am when they have only just recently opened for the day. Also missing a toilet seat. Will not return to this pret.

I asked for a filter coffee, A simple request. She said black or white, so I replied white. She gave me my coffee saying ' black filter' I reminded her it was white and she changed it with an attitude. Her grasp of English was not fantastic, which I guess was the root of the problem. As for the coffee, it tasted awful !!

Mohammed was very nice and accommodating on Thursday, and my drink was prepared very quickly. He was very happy to help despite it being very close to closing time (which I appreciate is the worst time for anyone to come in!) I hope he receives this feedback, as he is a valuable asset to this store!

It was not my first time here and I had been subscribed for my coffees for a long times. I had requested to have a large cup of soya milk and I was only given a tiny wee one. Usually, whenever I’m at to other outlet I will be given a bigger cup soya milk. I think my request was not too much to ask for and hope the management will be more accommodating on the customer requests. I was told by the manager Alex ( Firth road) that’s the company policy for soya milk is a three quarter size cup or else the beverage cost will be very high. Come on, what’s a joke!

It's a Pret ....nothing special but fortunately not over busy so not a long wait and plenty of seating.

Food is great, same as other prets, but the service in this particular branch is enough to put anyone off going back there. The manager on shift was horrendous to deal with. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. And everyone looks miserable to be there. It is definitely not a pleasant atmosphere to walk into. I will not be going back.

Seems like my usual Pret order can’t go through at the same price at this pret, bad experience with staff.

It's stuffy inside today, it's overcrowded and it smells bad. It is a place that urgently needs to find a solution to human health and ventilation clean oxygen issue.

Working conditions unacceptable, fruit flies everywhere and toilets are a mess. Please sort out the staffing levels as it is incredibly unfair on the two staff members on the floor having to manage a busy Friday evening.

Everything are fine except toilet needs to be checked more often.

Nice coffee! I was here on a Saturday early morning and was just happy to find an open cafe. Ironically, Soho is super crowded and with all sorts of restaurants at night, but early morning on the weekends, its nearly impossible to find something around here to eat or drink, so was just very happy to find this one. Was always going to Cafe Nero in the corner, but the line there was too big this morning, so found this one, and started alternating between the two, always nice to have options! :)

Staff was so nice and polite. I forget that they are closing at 17.00 clock . Still they served me....👍👍

Service shocking kept calling for ten minutes then barista came, service 😑 rather bad shocking, the customer service assistant had a rude attitude and most shop out of ingredients.

On the website shows that it opens at 7 am, but he never does. I work nearby and fancy a breakfast early in the morning but unfortunately this pret doesn’t open at 7 am. I have a subscription too :(

Pret Website and Google maps state that this store open at 7 am. Just tried to come in at 7.50, employees were inside but doors locked.

It wasn’t my first time buying food in this shop, so the rating will be 4 stars. Today I bought lunch, and first time ever my veggies weren’t fresh so I am a little disappointed as that’s my favorite salad at Pret. I had to pick out unfresh lettuce and tomatoes as these just didn’t taste right. Hopefully that was one time mistake.

Toiles were our of service, just like the last three PRETs I have visited in the last couple of weeks. Is it now company policy have the toilet out of service to save on costs? I thought it was a legal requirement to have toilets in a restaurant this size.

The prices are a little too high for my liking. The problem I face nearly all the time is I ask for extra hot coconut latte a lot and it comes as normal hot. Which I do not like. Also the yoghurt with cereal the portion is getting smaller by the day funnily the price is rising. Sandwiches are great but can be slightly bigger for the money you are paying. One problem at this store is there are no toilets

What you expect in a pret. I found a table easily. They had everything I needed. Efficiently served. Staff all prompt and professional. Felt safe and happy as lone traveller.

Nice coffee shop. Be prepared to spend a few minutes in line. Get the coffee subscription. 1/2 price first month. (€12.50) Food tastes OK but is overpriced.

Not great. Couldn't get the drink I wanted because they'd stopped serving it, couldn't pay with cash, cards only, and the eating area closed five minutes after I sat down at 3:30 in the afternoon. I'll not go back.

They should have more sockets and the closing time is not correct

Visited here for food in the gap between Parts 1 & 2 of Harry Potter & the Cursed Child at the nearby Palace Theatre. They were closing earlier than advertised and had closed off part of the venue already. The food was edible but a bit pricy for what it was.

Great Baristas. Busy yet service quick. Get through a queue of coffee lovers in no time! Keep the Soho crowd happy ...... Regular stop for me. Not just coffee. Smile n chat too. Thanks team Frith Street!!

Clearly did not care about food allergies. Their response when I asked about food due to my allergy wad first to keep me waiting for 5 minutes whilst they served others then to day 'we ran out so what do you expect us to do' Not acceptable. Clearly those with allergies are NOT wanted as customers.

Seemingly new staff unclear of what they needed to do, so slow service, but should improve in time. General attitude helpful.

Good service, clean and spacious. I tend to go to Frith Street Pret...rather than Wardour Street. Good range of food.

Hey! I just would like to share with you with my feedback about 1st time in your restaurant. Today 21st of April 2022 around 5:30pm I’ve seen in videos about London tourist’s experiences where there were eating. So there I’ve remembered the name of your restaurant “Pret a Manger”. I went into a restaurant, chose food and went to ask where I can wash my hands because I didn't want to touch the food with dirty hands. the girl at the checkout said that you can't go to the restroom if you didn't buy anything. I said good. after I did take the food, I asked her about the difference between regular tea and organic. during the conversation, she laughed because of my English. Yes, my English is not perfect, I'm just a tourist and English is my 3rd language and I didn't speak it for a long time. she constantly smiled and it was funny to her that I said something wrong or did not understand her phrase. I'm sorry that I'm not a perfect Englishman and why am I constantly ashamed of this now? then it turned out that I had a very old bill of 20 pounds and it was good that I had a different one. I exchanged it at the airport. How could I know that she is some kind of old? she looked at me like I was an idiot. then I sat down at a table and forgot to pick up my croissant. I sat down in front of the cash register and thought she would remember and tell me. but no, she didn't even remember it. I went and took it myself. I was very unpleasant to be in your restaurant and would no longer want to come. Also, I would tell all my friends about it. I find this unacceptable and offensive. I thought that London is a tolerant city at least for ordinary things.

Twice overcharged in 2 weeks PLUS get something you didn't order. Don't waste time contacting the company, they really don't care

One of the best prets in the area, even when they're busy they've always made sure to get my order right.

Pret thoroughly deserve their two star rating for really poor service starting with chaos in the waiting area whilst 10 people looked at each other wondering if the random drinks being called out were theirs or someone else’s. I’m sure someone jumped the ‘queue’ and took our drinks but who can tell when there’s absolutely no system. When my tea with milk arrived it turned out to be milk with tea, definitely not what I wanted so we took it back; asked for another and, guess what, got exactly the same milky concoction again. Tired of the whole experience we accepted defeat graciously but probably won’t be going back there in a hurry.

Friendly customer service, good coffee and clean premises. Very positive experience overall.

The Saturday team at pret are amazing. I felt very welcomed and my coffee was made quickly and made with care. Pret are very lucky to have such a great team of staff!
