Friendly staff & tasty treats, but prepare to queue! Soups are getting predictable, but membership deals are decent for London prices. Salads could do with a new change and more appealing to veggies

I agree with the other review that Pret is overrated. Pret has been successful to fool the public and staff for years. Pret has strict mystery shopper scheme in place forcing staff to smile. I write on this on expret.org

Terrible store. I have a dairy allergy so asked for vegan cheese instead of normal. Server used sames gloves that he had handled meat products to touch the vegan cheese. Not so much an issue for me but imagine the cross contamination. Then used the same gloves to touch the veg. Hearty Italian was toasted but when I eat it was rock hard. Not soft like usual. Finally ingredients did not taste fresh. Also, a colleague who also visted with me found a piece of short hair in their food.

We ordered at 9pm. At 9:45 the food had not arrived (the restaurant is only a 5 minute drive). We called the restaurant and they told us that the food would be with us in 25 minutes. We called again 45 minutes later as the food still hadn't arrived. They told us "6 minutes". It wasn't until 20 minutes after that when the driver called us because he couldn't find the flat (not his fault). In summary: the food was fantastic and we would definitely order from them again. But we received our food an hour after it was supposed to arrive. This is unacceptable. The strange thing is that the exact same thing happened to us with a local Indian restaurant 10 days ago. Perhaps this is an issue with Just Eat and the restaurant didn't receive notification of the email, but if that's the case then the restaurant lied about how soon we would receive the food we had paid for.
