Pret a Manger in City of London, Westminster

I'm disappointed that they now close an hour early, they used to close 12am now they close at 11pm.

I'm always on the lookout for great coffee spots, and this one stands out as one of the best I've visited. The café is spacious, offering a wide selection of food and pastries. The restrooms are well-maintained and clean, which is a nice touch. Most importantly, it has a cozy atmosphere with plenty of comfortable seating, making it a truly enjoyable place to relax. for someone like me who've always been a big fan of coffee shops in London, especially those that offer spacious seating and excellent restroom facilities. I will definitely be back!!

Good reasonably priced sandwiches. Good service. You might not find a spot if you'd like to have your food inside.

this isn’t the best photo, however if you zoom in you can see flies on the straws, and also some on the walls. it was disgusting and unsanitary. although it looks like there is not a lot, i can assure you that there were more than what it seems in the image.

Tables very unstable and if I didn’t have a lid on my drink I would have had a cup of boiling tea on my lap. Mentioned this to the manager but she seemed completely disinterested. Just appalling customer service. Also, all these refuse men coming up the stairs with five or more trash bags dripping coffee all over the place. How revolting.

Good location but a bit pricy, coffee is bland , nothing special, vegan sandwhich is nice but labelling a bit vague. Dull atmosphere bit nice friendly and helpful staff.

Manager forgot put in the bag honey to porridge, put tissues for me. When I walked back and politely ask to add honey, he don’t even smile to me. Im not talking about say sorry! This pret is broken. Horrible service after all.

Just had a coffee with a friend but served in a takeaway cup although we sat in.

Ordered two hot chocolates. I felt that weight was different. Checked it after foam was melted. One of them was literally half. Check the pictures. The left one in the beginning and second picture without foam after few seconds. This is redicilous.

Great little pretty, gets busy at times

I was in Pret today, I ordered a latte with oat milk, when I received my order and started drinking it, I got a whole coffee bean, the taste of the latte was also terrible, I asked to remake it, and when the guy was remake it for me, I saw how he made the coffee, the latte comes with one shot of espresso, but instead he poured half a cup of coffee (I can guess that it is the remains of an Americano or something) and the rest he poured milk, latte is not made like that. Please,pay attention that your staff is fully trained in coffee before making it for customers. I go to Pret very often and I always like the coffee here, especially the latte. But this time I was very disappointed, it was not a latte, it was something incomprehensible

The place is suitable for a break where the legs can relax while the mouth works (good food/drinks at reasonable price). Free Wi-Fi, with plug for charging.

We are visiting from Texas for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour. Late at night we stopped 15 minutes before closing to grab some food and we were also dying to use the restroom. They had already locked up the bathrooms, but were kind to unlock it for us. Then when we left, we walked across the street to the bus station which was about 1-2 minutes away. While we’re were waiting at the bus station, one of the workers ran across the street because my friend (my VERY forgetful friend) left her credit card in the shop. Tomorrow we fly back to Houston Texas so it was really amazing that he ran to give her the card. Thank you and cheers!

this shop has nice sandwiches which are great for lunch. all the food is fresh too - lovely to see😁 the staff members are friendly as well despite the fact it can sometimes be busy here. and there are lots of tables & chairs to sit at so no problems !!

I like that it closes later than the rest, but have at least one 24-hour, that would be nice, please, and thank you.

A nice place and a good option for drinking coffee and eating light and varied sandwiches. I liked the tuna sandwich, delicious, and their American coffee is excellent, with many branches in Britain. Good luck to them.

Nice large pret with plenty of seating space.

years ago Pret was a chain of good quality, now the matcha doesn't taste of matcha but it's just green, the sandwiches have horrible combinations of ingredients [like chicken avo and mayo, yak!] and the guys at the till don't want me to use the toilet unless i order before - i'll go there just for the apples from now on

Came during the pride parade and queued to use the toilet. One male employee was aggressively harassing people who were queuing, when we explained i am disabled and need to use the toilet urgently but am definitely buying something on the way out, he said he didn't care and "that's what they all say" and tried to stand in front of me He tried to claim someone would be checking receipts at the toilet door (their weren't, he was lying to intimidate people) He was so aggressive to me that people in the queue came to ask me if I was okay. Disgusting behaviour, especially when I explained to him I can't bring a drink or food into the toilet for hygiene reasons, he again said he didn't care Completely ruined my view of pret. I understand toilets being for paying customers, but being aggressive and saying I was lying about disability is disgusting

Was here with a bunch of friends when the Barista started to yell at our group to shut up. Extremely rude and unprofessional behavior, especially considering the fact that we could have been told to be a little quiet in a more decent manner. Also want to point out that the cafe was completely full of people who were equally as noisy. Please hire staff that can communicate effectively instead of in a rude manner.

they’ve got a nice seating area and the cooler drinks are good, but the chocolate croissant i got was extremely stale and the restrooms smelled bad 😔

Horrible experience. The barista yelled at our group through the cafe for talking. While the store was filled with other people speaking loudly as well. He said “I can’t concentrate” while screaming at the top of his lungs. Extremely unprofessional. If you can’t do your job, don’t blame your PAYING customers. Pathetic. Cancelled my subscription after this.

This used to be a good venue, not any more. Flat white was very poorly made, place wasndirty and scruffy ,staff were miserable ..Pret you can do better. Only one cabinet with sugar, etc by the door where people were in line also scruffy.

Had a salad with my sisters around 1:30pm today. We were sitting by the window, facingPiccadilly/Green Park, when an Asian looking man with a blue facemask approach our table and started clearing away the lids and salad dressing containers from our table. We assumed he was a member of staff, but he was a thief who stole my mobile phone right next to me on the table. By the time I realised what had happened, he had walked out and disappeared. Staff wasn’t very helpful. When I told them that a man who seemed like staff had stolen my IPhone and walked off, they suggested to call the police. How could I call the police without a phone? When I asked them to call the police, they somewhat hesitantly gave me the café‘s landline phone. After handing the phone back, I wasn’t told ‚ we are sorry or is there anything else we can do for you‘. Very upsetting incident. No security at Pret‘s, anyone can walk in and steal from customers. There is a security camera on the ceiling, but I was told by staff footage will only released to the police if requested by the police. Customers beware! Never going back there.

The man at the till, cheated with the price. I charge double its value. Other days I have eaten at this chain and it hasn't happened to me. I ask for a ticket to buy and they don't give it to you.

It was a convenient place to eat. However, he was pickpocketed by a vagrant who entered the store. The staff at the store did nothing. It's close to the subway entrance, so I think the store staff should be more careful.

It takes a sad company to develop a code process to exclude people from their loos who haven't already ordered. Maybe show a bit of decency rather than create a code system to deny desperate souls. Your coffee and service ain't all that either. Raise yourself up to Macdonalds' level - much classier than you.

I recently visited the Pret Manager at Green Park Road, London and ordered a Latte with Oat milk. However, I was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the coffee I received. It tasted more like a diluted coffee with just a faint hint of oat milk. As a coffee enthusiast, I have a good sense of what a latte should taste like, and this experience was far from satisfying. It's disheartening to see the reputation of Pret A Manger compromised by such poor coffee quality. I strongly recommend that the management checks on the particular branch to ensure that customers receive the quality they expect and deserve.

The staff are helpful and the food is good especially the baguettes which are always fresh. There's a downstairs with lots of seating so you can usually find a quiet space.

A special place for breakfast and drinking coffee Various sandwich options

Best bacon, chicken, lettuce and tomato sandwich I’ve eaten. And that for just under £3 (at the club member price). The coffee is also really great, especially the gingerbread latte. You can taste its freshness. Would highly recommend getting a member subscription (you pay £30/month to get up to 5 barista drinks a day and get the first month half priced!).

Chain that offers ready-made and pre-packaged dishes to be taken independently from the fridge and then paid at the cash register. These are mostly sandwiches and sandwiches which have a slightly higher quality than the pre-packaged ones found in the supermarket but which are sold for 5/6 pounds. It says that they are made the same day but they have a very long list of ingredients with the same things you get in supermarket sandwiches. For me it makes no sense to go there given the low quality and prices. Maybe Londoners who don't know what good food is might like it.

The first place I go to eat when I come to London. Best coffee on the planet in my opinion. Ham cheese and mustard toastie is unbeatable. As an aside... anyone interested in excellent business process execution should spent a few minutes in this place - or in any Pret - watching the team serve dozens of people perfectly and take payments smoothly without seeming in a rush is inspiring.

Very slow service by staff who don’t care. Added a yer later: who the hell makes a double espresso by pouring the contents of two cups into a third? That’s right nobody except this Pret.

Normally good place.. NOT today. About 11 people in queue with 1(!!) , in words ONE person to do it all.. On top of his tasks he RINGS fod HELP like every 20s.

Dead Spider inside the Food, Disgusting!!! The staff is friendly, the food seems good. I buy a humous & falafel mezze salad ytd night. But when I eat it this afternoon I found out dead spider in the mash which is super disgusting omg. This is hygiene and food safety problem. I might not buy anything from this Pret. I hope there will be follow up or refund.

Worst customer service regular user of coffee from pret staff must be more informative and polite. In the app and online it says open at 5:30 today morning when i was there its closed well staff was inside wave at them keep ignoring come closer very rude and they we don’t know when its gonna open . Unbelievable idiots

The rude little man at the counter decided to get pissy when I asked for an “ice coffee.” He decided to let me know that iced coffee wasn’t specific enough and their “latte” was the same. For everyone else on the planet outside this store, iced coffee is brewed coffee with some milk over ice. A latte is brewed like an Espresso with milk. Why does he work here? I didn’t need the snobbery. Never again for sure. When I tried to explain he was too good to hear my words.

On a recent visit I was told ' We don't do filta coffee , innit! Two of the loos were broken and the coffee tasted like tar. . Well done Pret for a disastrous central London branch.

Honestly I'm not much to explore "chain" restaurants, but this one was a great experience, we don't have these in my country of origin, reason why I am reviewing such a place is because the sandwiches here are amazing, the prices aren't high for what you're paying for, atleast the sandwiches are worth it and the natural juices. I completely recommend this place if you need a quick bite and you're close to one, only complaint I have is that you pretty much have to do everything yourself other than heating up your food (by this I mean, I meed informartion on some of the products and none could provide me that information at the time, it can get a bit busy the place).

They rudely tell you to leave from sitting at the tables at 21:00. The cafe closes at 23:00! Lazy staff who don’t want to clean up later!

MC Donalds für Frühstück. Das Essen ist zwar lecker, aber selbst für Londoner Verhältnisse vollkommen überteuert. Das Konzept ist nicht zeitgemäß. Alles doppelt und dreifach verpackt. Da bietet jeder Tesco das gleiche Angebot. Die Toiletten waren bereits früh morgens total verdreckt.

Mostly not clean during early morning hours. Staff is very noisy(especially if you sit downstairs) not to mention the clouds of fruit fly that have never been trewted properly by the management in charge!!! Shame

Pret A Manger' coconut rice milk mocha is a must try! The place also offer good range of dairy free and gluten free options. And their sandwiches were surprisingly tasty - fresh and well presented. The shop is also very clean and tidy. Overall, good value for money and great costumer service -  friendly staff and fast service even though it was busy.

I like this Pret very much, fast service, pleasent people behind the counter and well made strong, black Americano:)

First of all, not sure why are you asking customers if they eat in especially if you charge them extra, when you just pile up the sandwiches and hand them to customers just like that, have you heard about trays??? Then, you obviously mixed up my toasts, put them back in wrong bags. Then, why on earth do you slice the sandwiches when you toast them if you only bother to cut the top slice of bread??? Zero effort. Maybe staff should stop giggling with each other and pay attention a little bit more.

It was ok experience here. One member of staff seemed to be doing the most of things all from being at the till, filling in shelves and cleaning the toilets. This member of staff no matter doing all this was the one smiling and being helpful. Shame they don’t have name badges on as I would give this guy a bonus. We went there Saturday morning and he was wearing cream ( white ) t shirt. He brought me fresh made soya latte all the way to the table after they mixed up my order.

Once you've seen one, you've seen them all. Period. For me, service is always a negative. You're one of thousands in a day, so don't expect anything above average...

Rude staff, no customer service skills whatsoever. Popped in to get my toddler a hot drink, asked the front desk lady for a small children's drink, she advised on a small hot chocolate for kids, a babychino..confirmed this 3x with her, took payment. The barrister made a large hot chocolate, no communication whatsoever between the 2, when I asked the lady I ordered with she said' we don't do kids drinks' didn't apologise or try to rectify the mistake. Carried on her work. Totally rude, will stick to Costa!

Broken toilets!!! Not allowing customers to go but they still leave whoever wants to go at their own discretion!!! Totally unacceptable behaviour! After reading more reviews about this prêt à manger, it seems their toilets are deliberately closed for a long time now!
