Prezzo in Wirral

We had a family xmas meal for 5 adults a child and a baby. Our daughter was well catered for with colouring and activities provided and a kids menu with plenty of choice . Considering it was saturday afternoon it was very quiet which worried me. Unfortunately the food was very hit and miss , the menu had lots of choice . We all enjoyed the starters but the mains were disappointing , pizza’s were good apart from the gluten free option which my sister found inedible. Myself , my other sister and my daughter all had pasta which was watery and tasteless , they all had to be sent back . The staff were lovely and apologised and gave us an explanation as to why our pasta dishes were so watery . The pasta dishes were removed from the bill and new dishes were offered but we were put off by the taste and didn’t take them up on this offer . Sadly we didn’t have a good experience and wouldn’t go back based on the food but the staff were all lovely and couldn’t have done more to rectify the issues .

Went for a birthday and it was amazing. Devoured every bite of food. I myself am a picky eater but all this food was delicious. Service was great and no body had any problems. Would recommend

Out of hospital for dinner with my son, had a serious brain injury. The lady that served us was so lovely and helpful. As for the food it was amazing son had a pizza and a moktail which she just made up for him (amazing), and I had the spaghetti bol. The biggest shock was when we got the bill a lovely note saying the meal was on them with a note saying hope you enjoyed the cocktail x. Been to some restaurants in my time but never a place so amazing as this one.

It’s not cheap for a chain restaurant. There were no offers on , when we visited, so the bill for lunch was circa £100 for a family of four. Food was good and portions were on the large side. What was unacceptable was the state of the toilets (locks broken on several cubicles) and the wobbly table that tilted rather dramatically. The restaurant was clean but looked worn and tired. The staff are lovely, Prezzo Head Office need to pay a visit and invest in this restaurant as the appearance really lets it down.

Service was good, food was as expected from a prezzo, pricey for what you get but had a voucher which brought the bill down to reasonable for what we had.

Awful Experience, Food was all cold after waiting over 1 hr I had the salmon flakes as a starter I nearly choked as there was 3 large bones In it which shouldn’t of been there Head office was very unhelpful.

We arrived at 7.10pm and were asked if we had booked, then we were advised that a table may not be available (even though there were many empty tables!!), but they found one next to noisy kids. We asked to move to a quieter table and that too was met with a frown but they found one amongst the many empty tables. Having got a table at last, we waited twenty minutes without any attention at all and decided to leave and go elsewhere...

Served by the lovely Leah today. She was very attentive, chatty and would joke about with us whilst here. The girl deserves a raise / promotion. She was a breath of fresh air. The food was delicious!

It was our worst restaurant experience ever. Everything was dreadful during our visit. We have arrived on Sunday afternoon for late lunch. Table of eight- 4 adults and 4 kids. Ordered our drinks and food shortly after. Drinks arrived within a short while, however the waiting time for food was 45 minutes!! When approached the waitress to check the status of our food in a halftime, she said “she will check it for us” and never came back, not to mention any apology from them. Once the food arrived, no one even bothered to check back on us if the food was okay. In fact, food itself wasn’t bad, wasn’t good either, it arrived hot but not super tasty, very average quality food. Once we’ve asked for a bill and tried to use a Tastecard, we’ve been told they won’t accept it as we don’t have a QR code even though they could see a full name, expire date and membership number on the website. Totally ridiculous! Won’t be wasting my time to dine at Prezzo New Brighton ever again.

We booked our table for 6.00 pm but we were still waiting for main courses at 7.20 pm. We had to leave without our food because we were due at the theatre for 7.30 pm. We then had to return at a later date as we were overcharged for drinks. Sadly we won’t be returning even though the food looked great. We left the restaurant very hungry!!!

Bottomless brunch is fab. Jacob was very attentive and we never had an empty glass. Rely friendly. Lean toilets. Great service.

Went for a meal before the theatre and wasn't disappointed. The food was fantastic and the service even better. We were served by Emma and she was very attentive and polite. As we're all the staff. I work in hospitality,so I know just how hard it can be. All the staff were calm under pressure and very hardworking. I would definitely recommend going for a great meal and friendly service. I will definitely be back at another time

Come for a birthday meal, service was extremely slow which we may have been happy to look past due to it being busy. However, after waiting over an hour and a half for main courses, all of the tables food was lukewarm and carbonara dish stone cold. Carbonara sent back after explaining to waitress it was freezing and was brought back out exactly the same temperature. Waitress then began to avoid us and our table for rest of our stay and displayed a dismissive and rude attitude. Not to mention, the restaurant is now on the more expensive side.

Me my fiancée and my friends decided to celebrate my friends birthday for a meal. The food was ok but need to do more warmer and hotter. The services was friendly and helpful with free water is better to enjoy. The staff was helpful and friendly

I went with visiting family after going to The Light cinema. We did not have a reservation, but we were seated instantly and the service was excellent. It was reasonably quiet when we went but a nice atmopshere. I had gluten free Fusilli Arrabiata, two of my family ordered Pepperoni Pizza, and my sister-in-law had another pasta dish. Food arrived quickly, correct orders, and the GF food was clearly marked. I hadn't visted this branch for about 12 months but will visit again soon. Thanks to all staff.

Cashless and soulless, could hear the female manager talking to the staff disrespectfully. Food was average at best and not good value for money. They would not accept cash, will never go to a Prezzo again

It's awkward. I wanted to spend more time but the staff thought I was all about the fake smiles. I was treated inferior. I will never recommend here for visitors.

Great food, fab service from our server Ash who was super friendly and efficient. Really enjoyed our pizza and pasta which were beautifully cooked.

We didn’t have high expectations due to other reviews but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Prezzo New Brighton! Service was warm, friendly, attentive & prompt despite being busy; all food was delicious, hot & well-presented; drinks were brought swiftly & were nice & cold. Couldn’t ask for more in such a lovely setting! The only area for improvement is a logistical one: like many restaurants the acoustics are a bit harsh/loud, but this is an issue with most places!

Very expensive for what you get, this is a large chain restaurant so don't appear to put much care or attention into their food. I was disappointed based on the high prices. I'd rather support an independent New Brighton restaurant next time

We had never visited a Prezzo before having had the inaccurate opinion that it was over priced for what it offered. Were we wrong. We had a pre theatre meal here. It was late afternoon on a beautiful day. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was buzzing. I can recommend the meat calzone. All of the food tasty and well presented. Can’t wait for our next visit.

My partner and I have been here loads to eat over the years and enjoy coming. This particular time however was extra great. The staff were so friendly and attentive ( all of them). I had starter and main both new on the menu- both delicious. We both shared truffle chips which were so nice we ordered seconds. Would highly recommend. Great views over the beach too :)

Imagine, four adults and three kids (all under 10) rock up after winning 1800 tickets at the arcade and then then fancying some scran. The youngest and eldest were both hangry. Sad times. We gave Prezzo a bell and they said they’d take us in despite my dismal displays (I didn’t get over 100 even with the rails up for bowling). The geezer took us all in even though we had excitable adults and served us in no time. Thankfully, there was a Geordie geezer who we all understood and he was a legend. He humoured us and was patient. Funny ‘n’ all. Had a full on meal and we were pushing it to get our train. Of course, someone wanted pudding. The geordie legend sorted us out in seconds and got the lollies sorted. I’d have given a massive tip if I hadn’t have spent a small fortune trying to get a sloth from a claw machine

This restaurant is a great place if you would like a little get away for an hour or 2, the food it excellent and the service is delightful. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant as it shows it's greatness in various ways.

Long wait though it was worth it for the lovely food overall good food mid price not cheap not expensive recommend.
