Staff was not very friendly, veggies were burnt, pasta was over cooked, and it was all quite flavourless to be frank. Wetherspoons has more flavour…

RUDE!!! Zero respect for customers. I urge management to speak to whoever is in charge with greeting customers at the door. We where yelled at to close the door before my family where even all through it. Bad attitude and we are definitely not about that when spending our money for any dining experience.

The food here was delicious. We chose to share a cheese filled bread twist with garlic butter to start. Braised Tuscan beef with mash and a margarita pizza. Then we indulged in lemon meringue and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Every single dish tasted amazing and the beef was 10/10! The waitress was kind enough to allow us time between each course as we don’t like to rush our food. This was very appreciated as many restaurants bang out course after course and you leave feeling bloated because you’ve eaten too fast. Our waitress (Angela) was very professional and friendly, as were all the staff we encountered. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would revisit again if we were ever in the area.

Good menu options, service here was great. Both server and manager; both patience and polite, not rushing customers. Good ambience. Only criticism would be for the prices you'd expect slightly bigger portions. A generous portion of pasta/cannelloni would better suit these prices...nonetheless would probably go back as it's better than other Italian chain restaurants. Was able to use NHS blue light card here which helps.

Fatto A Mano across the road is so much better....... After my nephews fingers got trapped in the front door and the staff saw/heard this happen (he screamed out crying) the staff choose to ignore us, made us wait 20mins in the cold with 2 toddlers and gran with a walking aid, only to eventually tell us they were closing in 30mins. Another customer kindly came and gave some ice in a tissue for my nephews fingers. Luckily, the staff at Fatto A Mano on the opposite side were more humane, lovely staff and their food is so much nicer than Prezzos.

Please don't go there, It's neither Italian , nor cuisine

Food service was bad. They kept serving other tables though the other tables came later. Started to cheer the plates even though we we still having our drink. The next surprise was that the bill was placed on our table though we were still eating

I stopped for a quick lunch and as luck would have it, I met a waitress who spoke Italian, very kind, she helped me with my choice and recommended it really well, nice and clean place, good first courses and also pizza, fast service, prices expensive for Italy but good for central London, friendly and helpful staff.

Came on a wet Thursday evening. We had a reservation, and it was very busy. On arrival we were shown to a table downstairs with a few other people. My fear was , with us all arriving at the same time the service would be slow and poor . On the contrary , the very efficient waitress took all drinks orders ( by this time at least 5 other tables had arrived) and they were very quickly delivered, as was our food when ordered . The food was lovely, usual Prezzo fayre. Our waitress was so attentive, we had a toddler and baby with us and nothing was too much trouble. I noticed the manager several times coming down and helping serve and check all was well. Full credit to the manager who has clearly trained his staff well and delivers such excellent service at such a busy time

Service was slow. Food was okay but could be better. As my wife was having her last bit of food they came and cleared the plates whilst still eating!

I recently visited this Prezzo branch and had an unpleasant experience. Upon entering, I was greeted unprofessionally by a staff member, Angela (she was not wearing a Prezzo uniform, just normal clothes). She asked if we had any allergies, to which we replied yes. I opted for the vegan menu option to prevent any allergy attacks. However, when I kindly asked Angela for the vegan menu, she displayed a rude and stroppy attitude about it. She even said, “I told you to check the barcode,” which I found unhelpful and dismissive. I explained to her that I feel more comfortable opting for the vegan menu due to my allergy concerns, but her attitude did not improve. Whilst we were looking at the menu, Angela didn’t give us much time to decide what we wanted to order. She kept coming to the table to ask if we were ready to order-this happened three times. We felt rushed, as though they wanted us out of the restaurant. Later, another man, also not in uniform, came to take our order. We informed him of our allergy again. When I referred to the menu, I saw that "vg" stood for vegan, so I ordered a vegan salad. However, he rudely informed me that it was not vegan but vegetarian. I pointed out that the menu clearly stated "vg" for vegan, yet he continued to be impolite, though he eventually took my order. When my order arrived, a young lady in uniform served the salad. I noticed it came with a dressing and asked her if it contained dairy. She admitted she was unsure and said she would check with her manager. I found it alarming that the dish had been served without confirming whether it was safe for someone with allergies. She returned later and assured me it did not contain any allergens. However, I still felt uncomfortable consuming it and asked for proof of the ingredients. Angela then responded in a very unprofessional manner, saying, “We know what we are doing,” and took a photo of the ingredient list. I explained that it was irresponsible to serve food without checking for allergens first, as this poses a significant risk. Angela rudely repeated that they take allergies seriously and dismissed my concerns. I emphasised my right to ask for ingredient verification, which she reluctantly acknowledged. The overall experience was highly disappointing. The food was cold, hard, dry, and flavourless. The staff were conceited, unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. They need to take allergy concerns more seriously. I would rate this place zero stars due to their lack of professionalism and poor service.

Went on a busy December Monday night , service fantastic as was food, very friendly staff. Thank you !

overcooked food, not solving problems, overcharge on bill. Food had been too long in deep fry(instead of pan) which did not make the chicken batter ´golden´ as stated on the menu, rather dark brown. A simple pasta bolongaise was very poorly made, tastless and a twining tea was £4. They were not rude, but kindness only takes you so far and they didnt fix food complain, they asked to fix it, when we said yes, manager came and asked again instead of just fixing it, he explained this is ´normal´ making us feel bothering them with poorly made food. If you can not deliver service and you can not deliver fair quality food its not a place people go back again. Not to mention they charge more for a meal then on the menu. If we didnt check we would be overcharged with the excuse that it was the wrong button on the till. Chain restaurants doesnt mean always bad food but in this case it reminded me to stick with eating at independent restaurant owners who care about quality and service.

Upon entering, pleasant restaurant but quickly disappointed. The waiter was not pleasant, I wondered if he had made a mistake in his profession Cuisine 1 for the pizza dough, topping 0 was (tomato + cheese + ground meat) it did not correspond with what I ordered So next time I will avoid!!!!

Starters. - Pale un-chillied prawns. Barely warm calamari. Just a single anchovy on another dish Back to kitchen and dealt with but poor, particularly for price.

We are extremely disappointed with the experience at your establishment at Trafalgar squares. When we entered the shop, it was because we urgently needed to use the washroom. As we were trying to head downstairs, one of the staff rudely informed us that we couldn’t use the facility. The behavior was completely uncalled for and showed a lack of empathy. We were in a dire situation, and instead of handling it politely or offering assistance, the staff’s attitude was hostile and unprofessional. This treatment was shocking, especially since we were prepared to place an order right after resolving our immediate need. Such behavior creates a very unwelcoming environment and discourages customers from returning. Please take this feedback seriously and consider training your staff to treat customers with basic respect and understanding. Thank you.

Das Essen war kalt und geschmacklos. Die Sauce auf der Pizza sehr süß, der Käse ohne Geschmack. Dazu eine schlechte Preis-Leistung. Nicht empfehlenswert

Went to Shaftesbury lane branch Saturday evening for pre theatre meal booked at 5pm which was pointless as there seemed to be no reserved table ask for a slightly quieter table and was quite abruptly told it was very busy (and loud). Ordered pesto gnocchi which was, I can only describe as, pasty, it stuck to my teeth, my wife had what was supposed to be a small pizza with a side salad, described as a thinner crispier base, it was a normal pizza base cut in half, which was tough to cut. We had 2drinks vodka and coke and a small lager. We were going to have a coffee but it took too long for the waiting staff to return. So we went and asked for the bill. Basically 2 cheaper end main dishes and 2 drinks for £50. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Fuimos a la rama de Shaftesbury lane el sábado por la noche para la comida previa al teatro reservada a las 5 pm, que no tenía sentido, ya que parecía que no había una mesa reservada pedir una mesa un poco más tranquila y fue bastante abruptamente dicho que estaba muy ocupado (y ruidoso). Pedido pesto ñoquis que era, solo puedo describir como, pastoso, se pegó a mis dientes, mi esposa tenía lo que se suponía que era una pizza pequeña con una ensalada lateral, descrita como una base más delgada crujiente, era una base de pizza normal cortada por la mitad, que era difícil de cortar. Tomamos 2 bebidas de vodka y coca y una pequeña cerveza. Íbamos a tomar un café, pero el personal de espera tardó demasiado en volver. Así que fuimos y pedimos la factura. Básicamente 2 platos principales finales más baratos y 2 bebidas por £ 50. No regresará pronto.

On arrival checked if we could use a 50% discount voucher, all went down hill following this prices certainly increased and portion sizes decreased well certainly the pizza toppings. Pizza hard to cut knife very blunt, ordered a dessert, wrong one came the waitress reluctantly took it away and eventually returned with the correct one overall poor customer services disappointed as been many times before and always been great may of been better if not using a voucher

RUDE manager who refused our tastecard despite it being advertised on the app. Said that tastecard is limited to 30 sittings per day despite the restaurant being empty. Even had to pay a service charge despite the rude and awful service because the tiny tablet screen we had to pay on was not clear and I think that’s how they con a lot of people! AVOID this place. Ended up with a 50 plus bill for 2 people and not much food. Dessert was also a tiny and ridiculous sized portion.

Excellent pizza and professional service for once executed by European staff. Nice and fast. Well done and thanks for taking good care of us. We recommend it

This is my first visit to this restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant. The place was very clean. Gwen met us and provided amazing service. Thanks to her our visit was very comfortable. We were surrounded by attention all the time. Service was very quick. The food was amazing. Lasagne was mouthwatering, I am looking forward to going back for more. Pizzas were really very good. All family enjoyed the food. We thanked Chief and left.

The restaurant itself is very nice and we loved how close to Trafalgar and Leicester square it is. But the food was unfortunately below average, even for these sort of chain restaurants. The pizzas came with very hard crust, which was impossible to cut, and the taste in general was subpar. It's a decent choice if you're hungry and need something in a pinch, but if you're actually looking for a good culinary experience, look elsewhere.

Food was fine but nothing special. The service was good, though, and there was plenty of comfortable seating. Overall I don’t feel the value matched the price of the dishes.

Our third visit pre theatre visit on Saturday. Service good but the food portions have withered. Crab and Lobster pasta had 11 pieces for £20! Very poor value!

Manager was rude on the door regarding usage of taste card, and he continued to be very blunt and unfriendly when taking our order. He also got our order wrong so had to send food back before receiving the correct pizza. The food was subpar, pasta was like it came out of the microwave, Pinsa pizza was tiny for the price and was a very standard flavourless pizza. You would be better off getting a ready meal and a frozen pizza. If the food was cheap, it would be understandable, but for mains nearing £20 you expect a lot better.

Having just spent 9 weeks In Italy, the food here st Prezzo was below par. I realised yesterday the food here is microwaved. My pasta was tepid on the outside & mouth burning in the middle, over cooked. My husband had Crab & Lobster Ravioli, which was the opposite to my Pasta, it was too aldente. We have agreed in future we will not be visiting anymore big restaurants.

Horrible service, very bad. Will never be here again, asked for a chilli oil and the waitress avoided it like a pro. Never made eye contact again.

One word. Disappointed! The service provided by this restaurant was unprofessional and rude. We went in with a taste card discount which was confirmed by the workers that it was fine to use before hand and which we have previously used in Prezzo before. We ordered a jug of water to share yet when served the glasses were dirty and clearly used without washing after. When asking for the bill we showed the taste card code to use but to our surprise the waiter refused to accept the discount which we were previously told we were able to use. He made up an excuse saying they don’t accept it in this restaurant even though we have used it before. The staff made us feel stupid and it really is a shame the rest of our evening was ruined as we were expecting to make our moneys worth considering the prices were quite high. Wouldn’t recommend and will not be returning.

Went because we had Tesco vouchers, which were easily accepted. Very busy & lots of tables quite close together. Asked not to be next to little kids - sat down & two mins later they sat another lively family next to us. Staff were overrun & too busy to help each other, doing their best but should be more of them on busy Saturday afternoon at height of season near tourist sites. Chicken burger was delicious, pasta was nice, affogato left on side before serving and had been pre cooked and heated again. Tiramisu bit bland. It was a typical chain restaurant trying to make as much money as possible & not really about the ambiance. Was ok for what it was but have been to better places & wouldn’t choose to return.

Came across this Italian casual chain not far from our hotel in Kensington and were pleasantly surprised. The burrata salad was delicious, the dolce pirate pizza was awesome, and the spaghetti and crab were tasty and fresh (however missing the "generous portion of crab meat advertised. Nice menu, friendly staff.

Good, not great, food. Tiny portion. Really bad service. I expected much better. I ended up getting tired of waiting and simply left cash on the table to pay for the entree and walking out. The food was good but not worth the money. Like a McDonalds of Italian restaurants.

Les pâtes étaient trop cuites. Attention : j'ai constaté un écart de 20 livres entre l'addition et le montant qui m'a été débité sur ma carte bancaire. J'étais étonné de ne pas avoir de reçu de la part de la serveuse, mais je n'ai pas forcé. Ce n'est qu'après être rentré chez moi que je me suis aperçu de la différence. Erreur ou fraude? En synthèse : je ne recommande pas ce restaurant. A l'attention du chef cuisinier de prezzo: n'hésitez pas à aller voir sur internet comment faire de véritables spaghetti carbonara.

Extremely disappointing! This was a reservation made with a Taster card before a trip to the Theatre. The manager refused to honour the Taster card offer but more to the point, the way he made us feel totally ruined our and our friends’ evening. I wish we hadn’t gone there or that they had not advertised the Taster card offer, in which case we would have either gone somewhere else or not expected the discount. The Taster card is not free. If they advertise offers using the Taster card, they should honour it. We will not be returning! Apart from that the food was as you would expect, it won’t be difficult to find alternatives.

It was very nice however the pizza was a tad bit oily and the pasta was a tad creamy but everything else was nice 😊 .

The grilled chicken in the salad had a terrible smell and rotten taste. This is most likely due to the gas grill not being cleaned properly. The pasta was watery and tasteless

I have sent a complaint to the head office as the Manager is very rude and as soon as he heard we had a tastecard ,he said that the restaurant was full even though the waitress showed us to our seat and the restaurant was half empty.And he told us that there was no space in full view of other diners who I am sure heard.I have no intention of coming here again

Prezzo London is a casual chain serving up Italian classics like pizza and pasta. While the menu offers familiar dishes at affordable prices, my recent visit fell short on service. The staff seemed tired and unenthusiastic, which took a bit of a damper on the overall dining experience. It wasn't a terrible meal by any means, but it lacked the vibrancy you'd expect from an Italian restaurant. If you're looking for a quick and affordable Italian meal, Prezzo might be an option, but don't expect exceptional service.

Super restaurant, my boyfriend and I were served very well, they were well aware of my food allergy and showed me a menu adapted to my needs. The food was very good and the staff very friendly, I would definitely recommend it.

Great food and drinks but one of the waiters didnt believe that I was 11 (the kids menu was up till 11) so that created a wierd atmosphere and he was just kind of rude

Disappointing Visit to Prezzo Italian While I recently dined at Prezzo Italian, I can't recommend it. The food was just okay - edible, but not flavorful or exciting. Here's what fell short: Bland Food: The dishes we ordered were just okay, nothing special. Inattentive Service: The service was slow, and our waiter seemed tired. Loud Ambiance: The restaurant was noisy and made conversation difficult. Considering the price point and other factors, I wouldn't recommend Prezzo Italian. There are better options for a satisfying meal.

We recently went to this Prezzo right behind Trafalgar Square (3-5 min walk) and had a good time. The restaurant can seat more than 60 people and also has a bar with various cocktails. They have a few vegetarian options on the menu, and you can get some of the non-vegetarian options without meat as well. We had garlic bread, which was totally different from how it is served in the US (less cheesy). Missing the garlic bread, taste in it . The house olives bowl was very addictive. I had Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni, which came straight out of the oven. It tasted very good and was filling for one person. My family had Chicken Alfredo Rigatoni but without chicken. It tasted very good. They replaced the chicken with soy, which tasted a little different since I am not used to eating soy. They also had vegan cheese. The chocolate cake for dessert was served on a plate with the cake and cream separately. The servers were polite and very patient. It did not take much time for the kitchen to prepare the food and serve it. I would give the restaurant 4.5 stars. I would love to return here on my next visit to London. Despite being close to a street full of Italian restaurants (Irving street), this one stands out with its excellent service and delicious food.

Post London 10k we came to celebrate as a family of 3 with our two year old daughter. Arriving 45mins prior to our reservation - the team were so accommodating and sat us immediately. ILIR was out waiter and he was so professional, polite and attentive to our needs as vegans. Very glad to have eaten here over the other restaurants nearby. Thanks ILIR and team - we are very grateful

Amazing, we found this place as we were trying to eat some Italian food, the place was super nice, quiet and relaxing. The service was so good, the guys was super kind to us and patient. Finally our food was super tasty, a beautiful place with incredible food.

Had a wonderful lunch with classical tomato pasta and a burrata on top. Then a lemon meringue as you can see on the photo. Delicious atmosphere lovely and the service perfect. Can remember the price but it was not expensive.

I ordered a beef burger. It was the worst burger I've ever eaten in my life. There was a lot of salt. the meat was disgusting. I was able to take a sip or two. Unfortunately, it's too bad... I paid much more than the price list they showed outside. a total disappointment

I arranged a small networking event and we all met at at Prezzo at St. Martins Lane on 25th April 2024. The restaurant atmosphere was cosy and friendly. Our Waitress was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to check a the type of olive oil being used in the kitchen. Lorenzo who first took my table booking was also extremely helpful and friendly. The food was excellent too!

Portion are way to small, they give you 10 pasta pieces, so waste quite a waste of money. You can go any other Italian restaurant and get a better portion that's value for money, also when food came out it wasn't warm, so if going at busy time be expected for food to be not up to your expectation. The food was 6/10, but do not recommend.

This is a very nice place just off of Trafalgar square to catch a quick meal before the shows. I had the chicken and my friend had the pasta. The service was prompt and patient.

I visit this prezzo twice this week with my family while in London, i must say that the service is outstanding, the food quality is great. The kids loved it, we surely recommend it .

Great location, great food and atmosphere. Went to celebrate a birthday with my friends and we got served very quickly despite the dinner time rush. The waitress who served us was very attentive and always made sure we have a drink on the table. We made it in time for theatre too, it was a great spot since we didn’t have far to go. Would definitely recommend.

I never wrote a review, but this was an absolute horrible experience. I ordered a pizza with aubergine, basil and burrata. The staff was very nice and the time wait was good. When the pizza came, I was very excited to eat the burrata. First bite and it seemed like I was eating an ice cube. Asked a staff member to sort it and minutes later same completly frozen burrata came back. I have never tried a paper thin pizza with such low quality and flavour. An experience I wouldn't recommend anyone to try.

Zero atmosphere, zero waiter interest, zero taste. From start to finish, in and out including starters ( of which 1 had to ve sent back, being undercooked and bland) under 50 minutes. Lasagne so hot ( obviously microwaved) could barley touch without loosing skin to roof of mouth. Overall avoid

The location is great. The location adds a lot of value to this Prezzo. I believe the service and food have seen better days. It still has quality but far from what can be an Italian restaurant with this location. It has another advantage: it has longer opening hours, which allows you to have dinner after watching a play.

Excellent Italian cuisine! the Caesar and avocado salad is fresh, the carbo and bolognese pasta like in Italy with al dente pasta, the marguerit pizza and the queen pizza are perfect. The decor is not as elaborate as the other restaurants in Covent Garden but don't be fooled by appearances, this is Italy 🇮🇹. THANKS

Der Besuch war zum vergessen. Es hat nichts gepasst. Kalter Empfang. Lautes Umfeld. Schlechte Lasagne, Dessert wurde vergessen. Für mich nichts zum weiterempfehlen. :-(

To say that it was a negative experience is an understatement, don't pass off spaghetti carbonara with cream and becon, perhaps we were wrong to delude ourselves that it could be good, eat at Five Guys or McDonalds, your heart and your stomach Your liver will thank you a little less though.

It's ok, nice restaurant... My wife and sons pasta arrived cold... Had we not had an offer we probably would have moaned about it, but we was in a hurry.

As I entered with my 5 month old grandson, in a stroller, a grounp of young women came in behind me. I paused, momentarily, waiting to be seated. The young women barged in front of me, seating themselves at first table. Thankfully, another quickly became available nearby. I was directed there by the Front-of-House Manager, sat down, and ordered. However, despite placing my order before the four rude young women, their drinks and food were all served first. I waited so long for my order, that the baby began crying. As they were halfway through their meal, I got up and went to the Service Desk, to request that my meal be packed up so that I could pay, and take it away. The baby was screaming by this time. I had hoped for a pleasant restaurant lunch over my long weekend visit to London from Scotland, but rude diners and near non-existent service, ruined it. An unfortunate, and disappointing experience.

Large size pizza is not a large size pizza

They said italian restaurant and gave you carbonara with cream... and it was kinda tasteless, the food was barely okay, but the worst was the waiter who told us offensive jokes, got angry when we wanted to pay separately for our shares because my friend couldn't divide the prices on the waiter calculator by adding the tip... tip which was imposed on us because that with such a service, I would not have given any. Some tourist trap tbh, better to found another place to eat!

Had a great meal here. Catered well for my granddaughter. Managed to get us in (4 persons) at mid afternoon with just a two minute wait to prep table. Food was good, arrived hot, drinks fairly average price for the area.

Nothing to rave about. Restaurant far too hot. Patrons fanning themselves downstairs. Upstairs a little cooler...

The service was exceptionally quick, the food was what I would expect from Prezzo. It was a little bit cramped as it's a small restaurant but it served our purpose for a quick bite to eat before a theatre visit.

My sister, my friend and I enjoyed a lovely meal yesterday at St Martins Prezzo after seeing Les Mis at the Sondheim Theatre. It was very busy when we went in so thank goodness we had booked a table. Our waiter Lorenzo deserves a special mention as he was so lovely.

Superb location in the heart of London! Delicious Italian food, cozy atmosphere. And the service is beyond praise! Been here more than once, really like it. I recommend.

Staff helpful and attentive sadly let down by the food portions. I have never left a restaurant hungry until now. One main meal of crab ravioli was the size of a normal starter and I can honestly say I have never seen such a small, dry and unappealing piece of cheesecake with no offer of cream to try and make it more palatable. Even the extra side of fries was half a small bowl and definitely not worth the money.

Na een aantal uren door Londen gewandeld te hebben gingen we op zoek naar een locatie om te lunchen en zo kwamen we bij Prezzo St Martins Lane terecht. Een restaurant met een heerlijk kerstsfeer. In verband met een tekort aan personeel (waar niet) moest er aan de bar besteld worden. De bestelde gerechten kwamen vrij snel waren erg lekker en de Mulled wine (gluwein) was verwarmend. De sfeer was door de kerstversiering en de inrichting erg plezierig. Prijs/Kwaliteitsverhouding was prima en het personeel wat er was, was erg vriendelijk.
