Prima Donnas in Bromley

Went for dinner with a friend. Had the set menu which was lovely. I had cornfit duck cooked to perfection with sweet potato and a side of vegetables. Really nice. I had mango sorbet for dessert which was equally nice. Good location and ready parking too.

Had an amazing Christmas Day dinner. The staff were wonderful service brilliant . The food was delicious . The atmosphere was very Christmassy friendly ,We will definitely be going back for Christmas Day , We always go through the year ,But it was our first Christmas dinner 5 star , well done to the management

This used to be our go to restaurant. The last 3 times we’ve been have been disappointing compared to how they used to be. The oysrers Rockerfella are delicious- I would go back for these alone. Our mains were fillet steak and sea bass. Presentation was not great on either dish. Where these dishes used to come with hand cut chunky chips and crushed new potatoes with spring onion respectively, these now come with skinny fries and fried potatoes. Nothing wrong with the food, but it’s lost the ‘wow’ factor. The side vegetables were uninspiring. Desert was a huge disappointment- poached pears with sorbet. The pears were hard, tasteless and grainy. Sorbet was ok. Complimentary chocs at the end were a couple of Lindor.. again nothing wrong with that, but what has happened to the chilled artisan chocolates? It seems Prima Donna’s has increased its profit margins, at the expense of their food. This is a lovely restaurant with a lively atmosphere- but it used to be so much better. We’ve been going here for 25 years. We eat out a lot, but I won’t be rushing back here. Disappointing.

Nuno is really cool and he gave my little sister free chocolate and two lolli pops 😁 also the chocolate ice cream is sooooo good.

Our family's favourite place to meet up for a delicious meal

Enjoyed an immensely delectable dinner here whilst visiting family who live nearby and are regular customers. The menu was full of so many delicious choices, it was hard to choose. All of our food was hot (temperature) and flavorsome. Everything was great value too. The thing that makes this restaurant special however are the staff. They are so welcoming, friendly and attentive. Highly recommend, just wish we had something as good near us.

Been here before but came back on Friday evening. Had the set menu which good. My friend ordered mackeral and trout both of which were dry unfortunately. I had the duo of lamb and chicken which was good but my starter was quite bland in flavour (artichoke salad). The atmosphere is good but thought the service was ok. No point someone coming and asking you how your meal was at the end of it rather than a few mins in which you would normally expect . Charged me for a bit of chilli oilm found that rather silly when you pay almost 40 pounds per head at the restaurant.

These people know how to host and make a meal enjoyable and the food is always great! I went in the past and had their set meal which was excellent value and included a drink. My friend had a starter of seafood risotto and we are still talking about it year’s later. The menu changes with the seasons and there are always a good selection of dishes. This time however we ended up pushing the boat out and having Surf and Turf. It is not cheap but it was definitely worth it. The steak was gorgeous- well cooked, flavourful and just a beautiful cut of meat and the lobster was prepared in such a way that it slid out of the shell- didn’t really require an implement. Mango and Rum and raisin ice cream didn’t disappoint to finish off. Friendly, attentive staff, excellent food. Lovely warm atmosphere. Couldn’t fault it. Be careful where you park though!

Really bad experience here. Waited 30+ minutes for our table we had booked, when we eventually complained about the wait we found the table had been ready for a while but no one had told us. We were then told where our table was and had to find it ourselves, rather than being shown to it. Service was terrible the entire time we had to try and grab the waiter’s attention (it was busy but not extremely busy). Food was ok but nothing amazing. The lady there in charge (most likely manager or owner) was very rude and did not apologise for the bad service once. Definitely will not be returning - not friendly or welcoming at all.

Good food good and friendly service. Perfect for lunch

We went as a group of six for dinner. The atmosphere itself was nice and the team were friendly and attentive. We had a mix of pasta, risotto and fish dishes. Overall, the dishes were decent (though I'm not sure any of us felt the taste and quality truly justified the price). It's probably worth a try at least once but not somewhere we'd go back again and again.

Not eaten at this restaurant before as we aren’t local however, the food was absolutely amazing! We all had empty plates and full to the brim. The staff are lovely, the service is fantastic! Would recommend it’s 10/10!

Great oysters, liver and bacon is the best, they also do carafes of wine, enough for 1 person. Had G&T, came as a double, only noticed when bill came, should really let people know, particularly if they are driving All in all will go back

Ok not what it used to be but still a good meal

Went for an 80th Birthday celebration and had a very enjoyable evening. Hadn’t been for ages and was very pleasantly surprised. Food and wine were excellent (surprised not to see a Côte de Provence rosé on the wine list) and service was very good and professional, although we did have to remind them about wine we had ordered and ice and a ‘sorry’ is always nice? (that’s why only 4 stars). Certainly didn’t spoil what was a lovely celebration and the birthday cake provided was delicious. It was noisy (it was packed) but ambience was good and we will definitely return more often.

Visited with the family after a number of years absent and we were so glad we went back here. The staff are attentive and friendly, made the kids feel comfortable and adjusted any menu items when we needed to. The veal escalope was cooked very well for my main course and tasted lovely. The family fed and the piano player and singer rounded off a nice evening. Will not be leaving it as long as we did till the next time.

First visit to this restaurant. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food good and well presented. Proper linen tablecloths and napkins were a nice change from the usual paper serviettes. Will definitely eat here again.

Food fantastic staff not good Whilst clearing our table waiter dropped knife went on my husbands back leaving sauce on his shirt no apology. Spoke to our main server who then went and spoke to him both thought it was funny and still no apology. Asked for bill server said do you want my number. Eventually got bill paid by cash but didn’t pay service charge or leave a tip due to the above, as walking out spoke to a lady think she was the boss she apologised for bar staff and said if we send the cleaning bill she would pay Then the server come over with a credit card machine and said we needed to pay £70 more pointed out in front of everyone we had paid our bill in cash leaving off the £14 service charge Maybe he couldn’t count or was trying to pocket some of the cash who knows Needless to say won’t be going back not because of the food which was great it’s the staff

Visited on spec on a Sunday evening. It was very busy but they were able to accommodate us. In spite of being busy, the service was great and the food excellent. Great experience and would definitely recommend and we will return!

Very good food and reasonable priced on set menu

Visited Prima Donnas on Easter Sunday as a party of eleven and could not have been more disappointed with the quality of food served on the fixed menu. The Thai fish cake starter was dense and tasteless and relied on the sweet chilli sauce to give it any resemblance of flavour. The lamb was over cooked and dry this was accompanied with stale roast potatoes which had obviously been cooked a lot earlier and the vegetables especially the broccoli was again over cooked and mushy not forgetting the cauliflower which at best is tasteless as it was at this meal. The desert completed the hat trick of substandard food, hot cross bun pudding with custard was a dish of tasteless mush, not quite sure how they managed that. Would have been better going to pub for Sunday dinner at a fraction of the extortionate price charged for the set menu. This was not my choice of restaurant, any advice I can give to anyone thinking of going to this place is “don’t “ 👎

Very disappointing! Food was barely sub-standard to the point where I was unable to even cut my broccoli. Outdated decor and outdated service.

Bizarre customer service with the waiter making odd jokes which were just unfriendly, confusing, and a little rude as opposed to funny. Food was average at best, tagliatelle was greasy and liver, bland. We have just left and honestly after hearing such amazing reviews, we left dissatisfied and when we declined to pay the service charge not one staff member questioned why or were concerned. No one asked how our food was or were even bothered to check in. Sad experience for what was deemed to be a great experience. Would not recommend.

Outdated and disappointing venue. Staff were unwelcoming and neglectful. The decor was a horrific throwback to a 1910s cruise liner. The food was substandard and greasy, to think this was an establishment that was revered within the town is shocking. The no toilet roll in the toilets was an unsurprising addition.

As usual a lovely meal in addition to a superb service!! Their attitude their food and their place...all a great combination!

SUNDAY LUNCH - The service alone was 5 stars! Unfortunately, it was the food that has brought my rating down today! The Sunday Roast was just 'average', and for a group of five we recieved just one plate of vegetables between us... additionally for dessert the "apple crumble" had surprisingly no crumble on it; & instead came as a sponge cake with some apple on top which again was just average.

I rarely give 5 Stars... Prima Donnas deserves it. The way it looks... tables laid out beautifully with red, white and silver, the way it feels... everyone's enjoying themselves - it's warm and friendly... as are the waiters/waitresses - every one of them is kind, friendly, courteous. And finally, the food (and wine) is lovely: Between fine dining and affordable - all very palatable. E.g. 3 course Set Sunday Lunch (plenty of choice) for a £26 (plus tip) Highly recommended - we visit regularly.

Simple. The best restaurant for miles around. The chateaubriand is excellent and the house wine is affordable and very likeable. We have visited many times and never dissapointed. Highly recommend

Very good local Italian which seemed to be very popular with customers. Wine list fairly decent with extensive Italian wines and the menu was expansive. I thought food couldn't have been good but was very surprised. The whole table really enjoyed their food.
