Princess Fisheries in Leeds

We love this fish shop and have been coming hear years , the shop is well loved and is a massive part of our community the owner and his assistants are always really friendly and I’ve never had a bad experience , the fish and chips always been nice reasonably priced the prices have gone up a bit but it still worth every penny. We’ve another fish shop in the area and I’ve had that’s a few time and it no where’s nears as nice.

Found on google and decided to visit. Looks a bit like a brothel (I can’t lie). Fryer trying to speak to customers but couldn’t hear him (he either needs to speak louder or leave service to server). People behind us in the Que was served first (probably because we was young?!). Server was young, didn’t have a clue and asked the fryer for help every 2 mins. Tea tasted fine but lid tasted funny, smelt funny too. Reasonable prices, very cheap to be fair! For the price can’t complain at the quality but if you prefer quality then go somewhere else tbh. As for the food, sausage was barely battered, chips average but greasy, fish dry & paper wrapped. Gravy below average, curry average & tiny portions of sauce.

Lovely traditional fish and chips really tasty and value for money. Nice friendly service too.

Fish and chips cooked just how they used to be. Lovely chips and fish beautifully white and and fresh tasting with crispy batter. Got scraps put on mine, delicious meal and a great surprise and rarity to find someone who knows how to cook them correctly.

The first time I went, chips were perfect. Tonight, the fish was burnt as the chips were underdone and as yellow as margerine. Don't go, they can't be bothered to do things properly anymore

Get proper chippy chip shop chips here. Had a right big fish too. Good atmosphere inside. Fella really knows how to fry a good bit

I’ve finally found a good fish shop in Leeds!! 🙏🏻 Fantastic food and really generous portions. Fish was well battered but tender too. Chips were divine. And also great value for everything. Just wish they were open for longer! 😩

Came across this place randomly, what a find. There isn't actually that many good fish and chip places in Leeds as they're usually bolt-ons to kebab shops and pizza places that sell frozen, pre-cut chips. This is a proper yorkshire chippy with fresh 'taters. Its bang on.

Really tasty fish and chips. Just popped in for the first time in years with my daughter, we both had F&C. The batter was perfect, fish was pure white, chips tasted great too.

Was quite disappointed with tonight's fish and chips the batter to the fish was all soggy it like it was under cooked the chips were cold £ down the drain not one person in my house has eaten or enjoyed there meal
