Qissa in Sevenoaks

Staff very attentive and good excellent

Having tried a lot of Indian restaurants in the area, Quissa is definitely my favourite. The flavours are outstanding and they offer a variety of interesting dishes - the onion bhajis and the sea bass lime coconut curry is a particular highlight. The restaurant is also beautifully decorated and the service excellent. Highly recommend.

We had such a great time celebrating New Year's Eve at Qissa. The food was delicious and very well priced. The atmosphere with live music was wonderful and the staff were all helpful despite how busy it was. Thank you!

First visit and fab Saturday night dinner. Suggested by my brother and he was not wrong. So many Indian restaurants in Sevenoaks are so average but this was a winner!

Came on Boxing Day for a last minute meal. Greta service, very friendly and delicious food. Highly recommend!

Not your traditional Indian restaurant! Limited menu, but everything we’ve tried exceptionally good. Great service. Nice ambience. Reasonable price. Recommended.

Go-to place when I don’t feel like cooking or just fancy exceptional Indian cuisine. My favourite touch is that staff remember your regular preferences and I reached a point where I don’t even need to order my drinks, they will be there same time as the menu. I would rank this as my top favourite casual restaurant in the UK.

The food was not as expected. The tikka masala was spicy and more like a bhuna and not creamy or almondy and the onion bhajis were very greasy.

Qissa was one of my favorite restaurants I visited in Sevenoaks. Everything in the menu was so good and I would highly recommend when you go you try multiple dishes because you can’t go wrong. The Dynamite Chicken was my favorite dish and one of my favorite dishes now of all time! It was so good we ordered multiple of them! Everything else was so good as well! The team here made our experience so amazing! Next time I am in Sevenoaks I will have to return.

By far the best in the area. the food is always fantastic. Just ask if you want anything made a little less spicy, They are happy to help. Overall brilliant restuarant. Will always use.

We could park (free) around the corner in the evening. Restaurant is not big. Intimate and cozy. Staff were very friendly. Starter was delicious and main course also very tasty! Didn't regret eating here. Prices are certainly not expensive. The food has a spicy taste. If you don't like spicy herbs then better not eat here! We actually really liked it. It is busy (we are full) so booking is advisable. People from India also eat here so that says enough!

The food was excellent. Service was good, could have been a bit quicker. They seemed under staffed. Atmosphere was nice except for a flickering light bulb which was quite annoying.

Absolutely beautiful food, highly recommend 👌 My go to Indian restaurant I have dined in and had multiple takeaways and it has never once disappointed me.

We had a table of 7 for my son’s 15th birthday celebration with family. We had ages from 13-80 years old. The Qissa team was ever so welcoming and accommodating The food is always delicious and flavourful. And to end the evening Qissa played Happy Birthday tune and brought out a surprise treat for my son for us all to sing and celebrate. Qissa will be our first thought for a meal out for dining. Thank you Qissa for coming to Sevenoaks!!

This is the best Indian/ Subconntinental food I have had. The quality and taste of the thoughtfully prepared and presented cuisine was at par if not better than most high end Indian restaurants in Mayfair. Highly recommended!

the bhajis were literally the best thing I've had in my life, We weren't going to order them, but I'm so glad we did. I'd cross mountains for those bhajis. Plus they made my pregnant wife happy and not grumpy for once which is a bonus. Curries were excellent as always!

Delicious food, amazing service and great atmosphere. All dishes hit the spot and staff couldn't be any more helpful. The gravy with the railway lamb curry was elite, keema naan phenomenal and onion bhaji top tier. Well worth the visit if you are ever in seven oaks.

Had a great experience ordering from Qissa for our son’s birthday party. Special mention for Rinaldo for ensuring our request was addressed. Food was really flavourful and fresh. However, I would request to reconsider pricing as it’s a bit too high or offer some discounts or run a loyalty scheme.

Fantastic quality food and it’s amazing they deliver to Borough Green. It’s one of those rare occasions when a small takeaway through passion and quality control got to opening an always full restaurant, best in Sevenoaks.

We came across this restaurant last minute and are so glad we did. The food was gorgeous, best onion bahjis ever, and the staff were fantastic. Shout out to Robino (spelling probably incorrect sorry) who was fantastic. We just moved to the area and will definitely be making this our go to from now on.

Food was great as always and they kindly offered a free drink to my dad for father’s day! Loving the hippo cocktail! And they even gave my son his mocktail in a hippo too!

Best Indian food I’ve ever had! The staff were so friendly, excellent service. Really nice restaurant and atmosphere. Went here with my boyfriend and we had the butter chicken and the Lamb Bhuna Ghost Adraki. Everything was mouth- watering. We don’t live nearby but would go back to the area again just for this restaurant!

I have tried many Indian restaurants in London and surroundings, this is hands down best food I have had. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was calm and lovely. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

We’ ve been going to Qissa for several years now and Dilip and his staff are superb ! The food is absolutely tasty …one of the most authentic Indian restaurants around …the service is fantastic with the staff being super attentive …some of our absolute favourites are the Lamb chops , Paneer chilly , railway lamb curry and Punjabi Murg - the flavours transport you back to India - highly recommend it

First time here and it won’t be the last. Friendly and attentive team delivering excellent food. Well worth a visit.

Now Edited. Avoid at all costs. We waited 90 minutes for an order to be delivered. Nothing. We phoned 16 times and left messages. They just ignored our calls. Eventually they called us back and claimed they couldn't find our order. There are several much, much, much, much better Indian restaurants that deliver in Sevenoaks. Since that review we tried Qissa again, this time eating in, and I can honestly say, as a lover of Indian food, Qissa is right up there. The food is utterly superb and surpasses even the best local Indians that we have frequented many times (we all know which ones they are). The flavours are vibrant, full and all the dishes we had as a group and several times as a couple, have been cooked to perfection. We have also tried the delivery service again, which now works very well. Congratulations to Qissa for getting sorted. We will continue to support you, both by attending and using your now excellent delivery service.

Tried to book online twice, they just kept cancelling my booking without any comment as to why. Also, their website is riddled with possible viruses, it's the only site that my virus checker absolutely hates. Anyway, super unprofessional all round. UPDATE (in repsonse to below) Firsly, my reservation was not for tonight, it was for 3 days time, if your system shows it was for tonight then there is obviously something wrong. Secondly, I did not cancel anything at my end, I received an automated cancellation from you - I did nothing between making the booking on your website and receiveing the cancellation - and it happened twice. Thirdly, I use professional anti-virus software, it's currently ranked the #1 professional anti-virus software on the market, so it's a problem with your site, not my anti-virus software. As to leaving a review within 10 minutes, I wasn't aware that you had two wait a certain time to leave a review, I'd assumed having my booking cancelled twice with no explanation from the company was enough to warrant a review - if you think otherwise I suggest you consider whose fault this is, as it's clearly not mine. But, by all means, be argumentative with people that live 5 minutes from your restaurant, that will work well for local custom.

First & last time ordering from Qissa. Had come highly recommended so we gave it go. Starter Samosa was cold and weird, more like a baclava than a Samosa. Lamb shank curry was indeed very good but other curry dishes were more like soup and the portions of chicken were far too small. When the free poppadoms and dip are the highlight, you know you’ve gone wrong. 6/10
