Racca Green Fisheries in Wakefield

This used to be a great fish shop but the quality and portion size has gone downhill. Their are far better local fish shops now and we will not be using them again.

Beautiful food and lovely service . I’m on SlimmingWorld so the lady helped me with SW options on menu . Food was piping hot and so delicious . Would highly recommend

used this chip shop a lot over the years. the fish does not taste the same, weird taste, not haddock or cod taste.

My husband and I have visited Racca Green Fisheries a few times now , we call there when we visit my mother in a nearbye Nursing Home .The fish and chips are the best we've tasted in a long time the quality is second to none ,staff are friendly and helpful would highly recommend

We called on chance, not being locals we weren't sure if it would be open. Glad it was,they were delicious. Staff were friendly, place was clean as chippies go,value for money. What more could we want? Will definitely be calling again. Let's hope it wasn't our lucky day .

Decent chippy this one and always has been. Clean and tidy, friendly staff and the snap is good. Been coming here years and standards never slip.

The people there are very friendly and the owner is sexy af! nice food. Gravy is best and service was great.

Called in after smelling the nice aroma with my partner got fish and chips twice then took them home to eat we both enjoyed them very much will call again when down racca green again

Always enjoy our fish and chips from here.quick service,usually cooked to order.It is very local to us so visit quite often.The service is quick and very friendly.Spotlessly clean and easy access.

Drove out Knottingly way heading for another chippy not far away. Decided to give this one a go instead. Soooooo glad we did. The best fish and chips I've had since the late 1980's when Harry Ramsdons did the best ones (in my opinion!) Will return here every time from now on- great quality food, reasonably priced and genuinely nice staff!

I am very pleased that this fish and chip shop is local to me, though perhaps a little too local!!.The service is very friendly and the fish and chips are delicious, never greasy! & really good thing is being able to have a small portion which is great for the kids..would definately recommend this shop & going by the cues, it is very popular.

Being from knottingley and having lived in scotland for some time the first positive about this place is the price. I got my grandad a small fish (which is a decent size, and they generally throw a couple of chips in there anyway) I got a small fish buttie & 2 scallops and a sachet of tommy sauce £5 exact. BARGAIN. Also this place could take the Pepsi challenge with any chippie in Wakefield council area with regards to fish and batter quality. Great little chippie.

They say the best fish and chips money can buy is at the sea side and for the surroundings their right, but this place has the quality of fresh fish caught straight from the sea, the batter has flavouit taste nice and you'd be right to think that all batters from fish shops should have flavour but some places such as a stall in Bridlington and the kings Arms in York don't. Im a fan of the good old fish and chips so take it from me racca green fisheries you're doing great.
