Great value (£11) freshly cooked to order breakfast. Far better food and value than a eatery we visited last week.

Visited today for lunch in the bar and was so impressed by our server, Sam. He was so polite, very attentive and I wanted to give him a big shout out. Food was very good. We will come back. Thank you!

That was some Really good service yesterday, you welcomed us in with a smile and good manners. Gave us good compliments about me and my brother and further more, you made our boxing day the best one.... EVER!!! 😁 Definitely worth coming in again!!

Six of us booked for 4.30, 3 of us arrived at 4 so got a drink in the bar & another friend arrived and went in and waited at the table. She wasn’t asked if wanted a drink. We joined her once knew she wasn’t asked in there. Eventually we got served and then waited 40 minutes for our mains 3 of which were turkey & nearly cold, 2 of us sent them back tobe microwaved. We still weren’t asked if we wanted drinks. The restaurant wasn’t busy and staff were standing around chatting. We ordered 5 desserts 3 were Christmas pudding we waited and watched them sat on the hatch for 25 minutes then put in the microwave. We asked to see a manager a young man came over very uncertain how to deal with our complaint of our food and lack of drinks He went off to talk to another manager who came over and then walked off rolling his eyes at us without a sorry. Our bill was brought over by a general manager claiming she was sorry but it was wrong as was for 12 people then a waitress brought it back with a £7 discount for our inconvenience. The food the service and attitude was ridiculous We won’t be going back.

We booked a table here in December, uopn arrival we were greeted but had to waut at least 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order. We not offered any drinks and had to call somone over to order them. The staff were not froiendly at all, the food took 40 minutes to arrive and the roast dinners were cold. We called over someone who siad he was the manager , he offered to warm the dinners up in a microwave, no mention of a replacement. he dod offer a disovunt off the cost of the meal As this was the only option we accepted, We then ordered ot sweets which took 25 minutes to come ( the restaurant wasn't even full). We complained again at which point another member of staff came over, looked at us and rolled his eyes. When it cam to the bill we were presented with a bill for £300 which was clearly someone's elses ( there were 6 of us) At this point the general manager came over and them preceded to tak e15 minutes to sort out the bill. For a bill of £120 we offered a discount of £7....which was frankly derisory. At no ponit was any apology offered and the staff were very sullen. We have eaten here several times in the past and not had an issue but this experience means we shall not be returing.

What an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Took us half an hr before we were even acknowledged by staff. The food when eventually arrived after another 40 mins was lukewarm and had to be then heated up.Sevice was dreadful. Then another 35 mins for desserts to arrive . Restaurant has really gone down hill along with the staff.

Brilliant breakfast. All the staff are lovely very considerate and hard working. Would definitely recommend. Food came promptly and was lovely. Will definitely be back

Extremely disappointing. Everything form the prices, the portion sizes, the quality and the service was not up to my expectations. Many menu choices were not even available. The bacon burger and festive stack bore absolutely no resemblance to the menu pictures, they were much smaller, and the bacon burger didn't even contain cheese, as indicated on the menu. The burgers were dry and tasteless, the portions of chips child size, and they had the cheek to charge 99p extra for barbecue sauce. The starters were also small. The service was also poor. None of the glasses from the refills were cleared, nor was the rubbish from the Christmas crackers. We also had to ask for more drinks and the desert menu, while at lest 3 members of staff were just stood chatting to what seemed more like a friend than a customer. I would save your money and go to McDonalds instead, nicer burgers, better value, faster service.

Breakfast!! Forlorn comes to mind ,very disappointing got nearly all the orders wrong ,a very sad breakfast indeed one of the worst I’ve had

My portion size was miserable (certainly avoid the smothered chicken unless you fancy a wing sized piece of meat!). Staff totally uninterested in their jobs, waited ages for any service, ended up going to the bar to pay the bill. Restaurant wasnt even half full, pretty dismal all round sadly.

We’ve eaten here many times in the past but today was probably our last visit. We had booked a table for lunch. It was 40 mins before they took our order. They seemed really short staffed. It was another 30 mins before they took our food arrived. Mine was lukewarm. Another meal (fish and chips) was the smallest piece of fish , about 10 long. It was really hard to get the attention of the staff. There was another long delay before they cleared our plates. The bill was wrong. We were I. The restaurant for 3 hours altogether. No apologies from the staff of slow service.

Ordered food for the kids and myself. Main menu burger is exactly the same as the kids menu one with the only difference that the bun is bigger. Came with no crispy onion, apparently they forgot to say they run out of it. Ordered sides for the kids that never came to the table but they tried charging me for it. Waitress couldn't care less when enquired about it. They have a huge list of things not available, basically the menu was halved Quite slow serving drinks a food

Nice staff food ok sausages not the best though. Rooms ok, quite close to the road so you get some road noise.

Came for a meal with friends. And we had a really great time. It was so busy, and the staff were amazing! It must have been so stressful but a smile was always on our waitresses face her name was Donna. The manager Emma was also very helpful and asked if we were happy etc. Which we were. We felt very well looked after. Meals were all fab.

This is my favourite beefeater so far, has a nice separate eating area upstairs and the food was spot on. The team are really friendly too ☺️

Dirty place ,the carpet is disgusting and the whole place looked very tired.

What a lovely meal I had with my family, it was so relaxed and the atmosphere was very chilled, again we had the pleasure of Donna our waitress for the duration she couldn’t do enough for us she was very polite and attentive. The food was lovely very hot and well presented, Thanks again we will be returning. Donna is a real credit to Rackstraws Farm

Can see why this brand is slowly going under, service is slow and food is awful ordered surf and turf for an extra £8 for 2 hard prawns and some ratty calamari would not go back

Enjoyed a lovely lunch today My hubby had a burger cooked how he liked it very hot chips I had sirloin steak very tender & med rare as I asked Fries were really nice & lovely & hot Friendly waitress & the restaurant was clean & tidy Emma the manageress greeted us & showed us to our table she’s always lovely It’s local to us so always pleased we enjoy it especially with a 40% of voucher which is always very welcome

The restaurant was very busy but despite that the service was very quick. Our waitress was Donna. She was so polite and cheerful and made our meal a delightful experience. Donna is a credit to Rackstraws and embodies the traditions of politeness, efficiency attention to detail. We will certainly return to Rackstraws again.

The staff try to help as much as possible. They did a fantastic job with the number of people who were there 👏 😀.

This is a nice Beefeater restaurant. Which sits almost at the midway point between Southampton and West London. So for us and many others, it's been & remains a great place to meet friends and family for a great meal and a few hours of catch-up chat 😉 Oh yes, the service is good, the food is usually good as is the atmosphere. Plus, it sits right next door to a Premier Inn.

Staff pleasant as usual. Chef Fin cooked the best chicken I ever had, served with a smile by Jake. Thank you once again, I will be back :)

Had a good meal from here, and the waitress was very lovely, never felt in a rush and she was generally interested to talk to us. Just wish they could be more accommodating with customer requests when it comes to the food. I wanted to have the Vegetable skewers but without any mushroom as I don't like them but was informed these were already made up and couldnt be changed, I just wonder what if I had an allergy. They also didn't have any sour cream for the potato skins but I mean not the end of the world. Overall was a nice and relaxed evening.

Came here for lunch. Great location and inside are good. Young lad behind the bar couldn't fault him. He was always there to help out. I'm not sure if it's policy, but we had to grab our own knife and forks. The food was lovely. Bacon Burger was lovely. Mrs. liked her salmon and potatoes. Will come again.

Abysmal. Poor service, not overly friendly, food mediocre, drinks full of ice so half full, & despite not bring busy, the staff there were took ages between ordering, & receiving it. Note also that their so-called customer care team don't care at all, with a blunt, & very disinterested & ultimately unsatisfactory eventual reply. Then after that just ignored!!

The bar man was extremely polite. He caught and let a butterfly free big fan! Beer was ok had a Stella and it was just a standard pint No dogs unless outside.

Came in for a celebratiory meal of ribs and a pint with my partner this evening. We were served by Georgia, who was amazing, she was attentive, friendly and prompt. 10/10 service Despite being quite busy, food was quick and delicious making for a perfect spontaneous meal out. Thank you very much, we can't wait to come back! :)

The decor is quite boring, grey and dull with no atmosphere, we ordered for three people & 2 of them were very disappointing with calamari and steak the worst.

A major disappointment, the food was terrible, I ordered the Sunday Roast, oh how wish I didn't! It was warm, dried out with tinned vegetables! Fortunately the portions were fairly small! I will never visit this place again, especially when I compare it with The Brewers Fayre Monkey Puzzle (Farnborough) I dined at yesterday which was much superior. The server asked if everything was okay when the food was almost finished and they were not busy.

We took advantage of a special offer. Great deal. First time here. Would go again - inexpensive meal out - staff lovely. Thank you.

Great little pub old fashioned looking but very modern inside bar area was cosy and the dinning area was outstanding the service was good to along with the food there was no delay in getting our food either our group of 11 thought it was great night out

A very pleasant experience: food and service excellent. The surroundings were also very clean and well spaced. It was our first visit and on this experience will certainly make further visits.

One of the better Beefeaters I've been to. Sunday roast was good quality and a tasty range of puddings. Excellent, attentive service. Recommended as a restaurant with menu choices to please all at a sensible price.

Had a retirement dinner for 11 in Rackstraws last night. I have got to say it was brilliant. Everyone enjoyed their food and also I need to mention the lady who was waitress, Maddie. Her timing with each course, remembering each person's order and general presentation was outstanding. A credit to the company. Would recommend going to this place!

The full English breakfast is cooked to order. Plenty of selection with the continental breakfast including fruit.

Average food. Fairly slow service. I ordered a signature’Baconeater’ burger. Very poor for the price.

Service was amazing, the barkeep ben gave excellent service with the drinks and was a very friendly character, both welcoming and assuring whilst consistently making sure everything was how it needed to be.

A lovely little pub with incredibly personable service particularly from Ben. Drinks were good and made quickly for us to enjoy either in the beautiful interior or quaint beer garden. A brilliant place to bring friends or family 10/10

We are a group of retired ladies & we meet up once a month, except for school holidays, & always meet at Rackstraws. We were there yesterday & we had the one of the best afternoons. We loved our table for 8, the service from Magdelain(sorry if I’ve not spelt it properly)was wonderful, the food was very good, a few of us love the chicken curry & good prices too! Your Manager is also a credit to your Company. Only small complaint, two of the ladies had to complain about the coffee having a ‘strange’ taste. They were given another coffee which was ‘ok’.

Second time we've attempted to come here for breakfast. Will be the last. Apparently they are not accepting walk it's as it's too busy. Why even promote it then? They then couldn't answer as to why the couple in front of us who were also walk in's were given a table. Both times I could physically count more than 10+ tables available and more tables becoming available. Steeer clear unless you want to wait nearly 15 minutes to be told no.

Fancied a juicy burger, what better place to stop than a Beefeater! Served by the lovely friendly and accommodating Emilie, food was prompt and very tasty, it's just what I needed! Good atmosphere, restuarant was very clean and tidy

Can't fault it however, I feel the portions have got smaller. They should bring back the 74 hotdog which was lovely.

MAJOR FLY INFESTATION Was sat by the window when there was much availability else where, once seated I noticed the swarms of flies all over the windows trying to escape, huge graveyard of dead flies, how this has not been noticed and dealt with by the restaurant is poor.

Service was on the slow side. There was only one barman working. Not his fault, We were there for opening time on a Wednesday. Suggest they make sure there is sufficient staff on shift and to make sure things like cutlery are full up because we had to wait for that whilst their food was going cold. Overall not negative but certainly not great either. Sorry.

This place is in serious need of an upgrade. The carpets are disgusting and the general cleanliness is poor. We sat by the window, which was so dirty you could hardly see out and the blinds had a serious coating of dust. That said, can't fault the food. Or the service.

The service was not good, waited ages for our drinks and then again for food.

We did eat here at around 14.00.not many people in here. My starter was chicken goujons and a bit of bbq sauce. That was basically it. Looked plain no finesse or inviting. OK I ate it but not great. Then I received my burger and loaded fries. Oh no, no loaded fries just chips so they had to be changed. Oh and also 5 other in our family had to be shuffled around. I was so hungry I did eat the burger and now loaded chips. The chips were a bit unusual taste to be loaded fries. The burger well was just a burger. Nothing special. My daughter was not that impressed with her meal and this was her birthday special meal. They even lost a silver 3 for the cake we bought for her as she was 30 on the day. To me this was an OK meal but really nothing special. This is a place I don't think I will be going back again

Food and beer okay but did take a while to arrive.

We visited on Tuesday 9th April at 7:35pm. The restaurant was about 30% full and 5 workers at the front of house, including drinks. The first perplexing moment came when we were being seated. We asked the lady if we could sit at the table immediately behind the one she assigned but were told 3 words: "no you can't". (The table we wanted and many other tables remained empty for the bulk of our mealtime.) When the food came, we were asked if we wanted any sauces. We wanted ketchup, barbecue & mustard. However, the same lady flagged up that barbecue sauce was an extra 99p! It felt she was almost funny by then. Around 8:30, the restaurant was about 1/4 full, staff started to set up breakfast for the next day - moving tables and chairs away from the middle, opening up the breakfast bar, etc . There was so much for us diners to watch, be it somewhat puzzling as to timing and appropriateness. It took us a long time waiting for the bill, having asked 10 to 15 minutes ago. Only when chased, it was explained that their tills were fine though the card machines were down; the manager was trying to fix. We informed them that we intended to pay cash, not instead. The final confusion came when the bill eventually presented was wholly wrong: the cocktail deal was wrong as well as the food prices. [If they want to response to this, no glossy reply please!]

After a few disappointing times at Bagshot Beefeater we decided to try Rackstraws Sandhurst which was far more superior...were met by Hostess called Donna who was super friendly ordered our food which was lovely great customer experience definitely recommend and will return again 😀

We are a group of ladies who try to meet up every month at Rackstraws,Sandhurst. We met up today, but sadly we were missing one lady, because she passed away very suddenly on Easter Sunday. The service we had from Donna & the team was excellent & we all enjoyed our lunch. We did stay rather a long time but not once were we made to feel as though we ought to go. So, once again, thank you Rackstraws for helping us get through our sad but in the end our happy afternoon.

Really great value for a super meal. Sirloin steak cooked by the chef - Alex was as good as you would get in a fine dining restaurant at half the price. Friendly and efficient service by Pav was much appreciated and completed a very enjoyable experience. Many thanks

Lovely evening, prompt service and the food was lovely, had a small issue with my food, which was acknowledged and the Staff and team couldn’t of been more apologetic and resolved it quickly, we were served by AJ who was an absolute delight and her bubbly personality was contagious and she really made the evening for us! Sadly staff cuts mean service has gone down and prices have shot up. Very short staffed at the bar and now closing early when customers are in and drinking. Seems strange. Why do that when there are 20 people drinking in the bar. Biscoff ice cream horrendously over priced btw
