Nice people, great food at a reasonable price.

Picturesque village pub. Very cozy. Love the vending machine outside. Cost me two jars of honey!

Needed to find a good pub restaurant midway between us and friend. Did the goodle search for a dog, family and vegetarian friendly pub near salisbury and this came up. It didn't disappoint on any count. At least 4 vegetarian starters and 5 vegetarian main courses available. None of which were moving mountain style meat substitutes. Between us we had the Korean tofu burger, lentil & veg tagliatelle colognes and the seitan bbq ribs..all were superb. Despite being very busy with 2 large groups, the service was attentive without being pushy, friendly and very accomodating..drink choices were excellent too with 4 hand pump ales on. Will definitely use again

There was a big group of us for a pre-Christmas lunch and we were all unanimous: great food, great service and great atmosphere. Lou and her team did brilliantly and we will definitely be back!

23 of us went for the Whites Christmas lunch. It is rare that 23 could be in agreement but on this occasion we were. We had a really terrific meal, all different meals were of the same high standard together with great service from lovely people in a lovely pub atmosphere. Couldn't rate more highly. They obviously went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time! Thank you!

Highly recommend this. Accommodated my wife's wheelchair and me during a very busy lunch time. Great meal. Best to book ahead but do go.

We have visited on several occasions and we have been very happy with the food. This time all our roast dinners were very poor: the lamb had an odd flavour and all the meat was tough; the potatoes were not crispy and only just warm; the vegetables were too hard and under cooked. One of our party ate very little as she couldn’t cut or chew it.

Amazing experience from start to end. Coming all the way from NZ my good friends brought me here. The Manager and staff were exceptional. I had the pork belly and omg was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend to come here for food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. 😌

We go here every so often for a meal out as the food is tasty and generous portions. We also had our wedding reception here a few years ago, and everyone had a fantastic time!

Sunday lunch with my wife on 6 October 2024. Traditional Sunday roast beef with all the trimmings. Good quality beef, lots of excellent roast potatoes and plenty of gravy and delicious veg. Followed by the best sticky toffee pudding with custard that I have had in some time. Highly recommended!

The lovely lady that tended to us was brilliant, and her suggestion for me on my starter was spot on pumpkin soup amazing my steak was so tender just loved it.

Wanted to find a pub for lunch on our way to Bath and google came up with this one. Couldn’t fault anything, welcomed as we walked in the door, excellent service and food and weren’t rushed (a leisurely two and a half hours well spent, as we didn’t want to rush off due to appalling weather). And it was very busy, especially for a Monday and I’m not surprised.

Fantastic location, lovely helpful staff, excellent choices on the menu at fair prices, local ales, great for kids and dogs! A proper English country pub, hurrah!

Great pub serving really fabulous food. Have visited a few times now and every menu item we've tried has been top quality. Nice atmosphere and not too busy at lunchtime when we visited. Prices are reasonable (more expensive than the big chains, but then the food is so much better - so well worth it).

Popped in for a ad hoc lunch on the way to the New Forest and what a delightful pup. A warm genuine welcome when we entered and the food was great value for money and delicious.

Fabulous old village pub 10 minutes from Salisbury City centre. A good selection of real ales and a reputation for good food. Lovely beer garden too!

We went here for my friend’s wedding reception. What a fabulous venue! We were in the beer garden area with many marquees set up, including a hog roast being served in one of them. There is a ‘hatch’ into the beer garden meaning guests didn’t have to go into the pub to order drinks - this was easier and quicker! Drinks were a little pricy at £6-£7 a pint. The staff were extremely accommodating and clearly have a lot of love and passion for their business.

Lovely country pub. Lovely lady boss L., she made sure that she's done all she can to help us get to Longford Castle ( private/ not public access without appointment).And we got there in the end, even though we got 7-10 minutes late to be picked up by the bus booked to enter within the grounds. We had only cheesy fries, being so hot outside, but nice atmosphere, peaceful and good prices. I took pics only without ppl, privacy reasons.

I've used this pub since the late 80s when it was a hall and Woodhouse it just happened that my name was HALL& and drinking partners' name was WOODHOUSE, so we spent quite a lot of there over the years Good old country pub

So horrified to hear that they threw my parents out tonight due to my mother’s reflux medical condition flaring up unfortunately during her birthday meal. Happy 73rd birthday mum! She was as discreet as she could be. How about asking her if there was anything you could get her? Uncaring, Snobby, rude. Food was also basic.

What a great find! Discovered this pub whilst my partner was in A&E. The Landlady couldn't have been more helpful as there was nothing that was too much trouble which was greatly appreciated as my day was going from bad to worse. There seemed to be lots of regular clients, the food was very nice as was the pub with well kept gardens. They are also dog friendly. I highly recommend this pub where the sense of hospitality hasn't deserted them. I will be back when we I next come this way.

Fabulous meal here today- the garden is stunning, service was prompt and friendly, reasonably priced, generous portions and a brand new play area for the little one as well. What a find! We will be back (a lot!)

Really nice traditional pub with a fantastic outdoor play area for the kids. Also a few good vegan options to choose from including vegan ice cream for pudding. I had the vegan lasagna and it was delicious!

By far the best Belly Pork Roast Dinner I have eaten anywhere.👍 The service was exceptional too. Thank you to ALL from the chef, KP and waitresses. Such a lovely place to eat.🤗 Will be back for more soon.

O dear. Our experience is out of kilter with the reviews of others. Our waitress was stony-faced, forgot to ask my husband what he'd like to drink and didn't seem bothered when we gently pointed it out. We're not big eaters but the portion sizes were small, especially considering the prices being charged. The best features were the tea and coffee, and the barman, who was engaging and friendly, going above and beyond to treat customers like guests. Sadly, we won't be returning.

Eaten at the Radnor twice and on both of these occasions we had the most perfect experience. The food is excellent and plentiful. The staff are very friendly attentive and helpfull. Nothing is too much trouble. On our next visit we are taking friends.

Popped in after a hospital visit, but wasn't expecting much. What a nice surprise to come out having had a decent couple of pints and a good lunch. So often disappointed when you go somewhere new, but quite the opposite here and would definitely be back when in the area. Great service from friendly staff. 👏👏👏

Popped in for a snack lunch. Superb greeting by friendly staff. Assistant manager was particularly helpful and knowledgeable about the ales on offer as well as the menu. Prompt and efficient service and our sandwiches were excellent. From the breads to the fillings. Delicious chips and a suitable side salad. Beers were tasty and well kept. Lovely atmosphere and a decent view out back to the stream. Definitely worth going to.

Great pub. Hands down the best Roast in the area. I live in Downton and the food knocks all my locals into a top hat. The staff are great. Proper pub.

I came here for a meal with 3 friends on a Friday evening after visiting a friend in Salisbury hospital. As the kitchen was about to close at 8:30pm, they took our order by phone and when we got there the food was lovely and lots of it, in fact I haven't felt so full after a pub meal for a while! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, an altogether nice village pub. We will come again, many thanks.

Wonderful meal with good friends. We were meeting friends at the Radnor Arms but we were running really late after being stuck on the A303. We phoned in to the pub explaining our traffic dilemma and they were so marvellous they held services until we arrived 👍🏆👍. The Halloumi bytes you must try (definitely not for sharing if you can avoid it). We were so late I really didn't have great expectations for my steak but I was wrong as it was just perfect. The staff could not have been any more welcoming or friendly. Will definitely be eating there again. 👍👍👍👍

The loveliest staff ! Every seat was taken and the place was bustling but the girls never lost their cool, always time for a chat and to help disabled clients to their car! Dropped in on the way back from somewhere today on the off chance they had a table and, very fortunately, there was. However, if you are considering eating here, I strongly recommend booking ahead, either on the phone, or through the website. This is an extremely popular pub and the odds of getting a free table are slim. The service is extremely good and the food is astonishing. We both had mains and puddings. The portion sizes are enormous, but more importantly, the quality of the food far outstrips what you may be expecting from a country pub. Value for money here is off the chart. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We will be going again. Often.

Celebrated Mums 90th birthday yesterday. Food was really good and service was brilliant. Very friendly staff. As we all travelled from different areas it isn't really local to any of us but we will definitely look at doing this again.

First time here for a 70th birthday celebration. The food was fab, although stupidly I didn’t take any pictures.

Went to this lovely village pub to celebrate a 50th birthday for lunch. Arrived to friendly welcoming staff, and a nice busy but calm atmosphere. We ordered drinks and chose a lively table outside in the shade. Our food was ordereded and a feast arrived. We had the Hoi Sin Bom Boms to start with, and were absolutely mind blowing. Presentation, quality of the home made food and everything about this dish was fantastic. More drinks ordered then the mains, cheese ploughman's, white bait, and a Peri peri chicken burger. Again, all homemade and to the highest standards. The portion sizes are crazy big, so you won't ever go hungry. Boxes were offered by the friendly waitress for us to take home. The entire meal came to kess than £100 for the four of us. Great value, great location, great garden, great staff, great pub!!

Birthday treat. We have been to the Radnor Arms several times and have enjoyed our food. However, last evenings meal was disappointing which was a pity as it was my husband's birthday.Sadly we will not be returning.

Great place.great people. Fantastic food

As soon as we walked in we were given a very friendly greeting: always a great start. We only popped in for a drink but decided to eat and were very pleased with the quality and quantity of the food which was good value. The friendliness was consistent among all the staff and for me that's an essential ingredient sometimes missing from some establishments. The fabulous collection of beautiful and unusual dahlias at the front was a delight too! So we'll be adding the Radnor Arms to our list of pubs to re-visit.

Their soups are always amazing and this is usually where we take people visiting the area. Their specials are always spot on. Great local, good outdoor seating if you prefer.
