The team at Rajah Rowing cooked us a fabulous take-away feast for a family gathering. There were 14 of us so we had a variety of dishes including curries, dahls, tandoori chicken, breads, poppadoms and chutneys. Everything was delicious but we would like to give a special shout out to the onion pakora. Rajah Rowing were incredibly helpful and kind - they helped make our evening a huge success. I highly recommend them.

Delivery took over an hour which is awful considering we only live down the road. And they forgot our poppadoms and free side!!

food was fantastic, will definitely use them again. only complaint was the menu is poorly laid out, say i wanted to order king prawn madras i would have to call the takeaway as there is no option to do this anyway best curry I've had had for ages pete

Food arrived 10 min late, portions were very, very small (especially rice). I've ordered Garlic Naan but it didn't taste "garlicy" , my vindaloo wasn't hot enough. I'm a bit dissapointed, won't be ordering again.

Ordered a set menu with chicken korma and chicken rogan. When it was delivered it was chicken korma and LAMB rogan. The food that came was cold, especially considering it didn't have far to come, so it can't have been fresh.

It was nice as always delivery was delayed which can be expected sometimes however I did receive a call from them to inform me and apologise. Definitely order from here again food is always fresh and tasty!

I have used this restaurant under different management but this was awful. . . .the lamb tasted 'odd' as did the Paratha (Bad Ghee?) Enough to put me off I'm afraid, SO much competition around here. ...

This is my usual takeaway. Flavours were there but chicken had the texture of rubber.

The food was nice but I ordered a bottle of coke and we requested a bottle as our special offer but got 3 cans instead! Quite annoyed as paid for a bottle 3 cans is not enough for 6 people!!

2nd time I've ordered from this place. Food is quality, but both times have been 30 mins or more late

Speedy delivery with tasty food

Poor takeaway service. I ordered pilau rice but got plain rice instead. the madras lamb curry which was supposed to be hot was sweet instead. Inefficient delivery personnel (I even gave him a tip!) who was less than courteous despite the screw up.

Excellent food. Would order again and nice to actually see a friendly delivery driver other takeaways have awfully rude drivers but this place is good. Top marks

I'm torn writing this review as the food is good but the service is abysmal. This is the 3rd time Rajah have forgotten an item - twice Bombay aloo and now the bottle of drink. There's a common denominator here and it's the extra notes on the just eat app - it's the area where the restaurant ask you to tell them what complimentary dish or drink you'd like, but it's clear they don't read it. I was so sure they wouldn't read it for tonight's meal, I even called in advance to make sure they did, but alas, I have no drink that I ordered. The first two times this happened, I gave them the benefit of doubt and called to give feedback, rather than leaving a poor review. However, it's clear they don't listen and I now have another disappointing experience. If you have no intention to give complimentary dishes or drinks, DONT ADVERTISE IT!!!

After the mill being 15 minutes late I called the restaurant who informed me it was on its way after waiting a further 30 minutes I'm still hadn't arrived so I called again to ask for my money back they inform me they can't give refunds through just eat I have to contact just eat I only live 10 minutes away from the restaurant I couldn't work out why my new hadn't arrived when they informed me they had already left the restaurant. My mail arrived one hour and 10 minutes late. But I refused it. If they had called to say they were running late this wouldn't have been a problem I would've had the option of going elsewhere.

Turned up without my onion bhajis, and Pepsi when I ordered Diet Coke. My main dish was only half full. It's really a hit or miss takeaway this one..,not sure I would order anymore

Not at all impressed!! I was craving this meal and when it arrived the chicken was cold, the sagg aloo was cold and the tarka Dahl was let's say swimming in oil. I've never left a review on just eat before but this was appalling overall it was very tasteless and won't be going there again!!

Was 25 minutes late - took over an hour and 20 mins for them to deliver it and I had to call and chase it where the staff were trying to take my order, really not getting what I was saying about it being late!

Got my order 1hr 15 mins after order. I was charged extra for a keema naan even though I never received one and I asked for no coriander leaves which wasn't adhered too. Not good.

Having tried pretty much all the takeaways in the area, I enjoy the food from Rajah the most. The service hasn't always been smooth - popadoms without the raithi, forgetting the complimentary dish - but they do read your feedback and delivered the complimentary side dish this time round. Overall, very happy with Rajah and thoroughly enjoy their food every time!

The food took over an hour to arrive, however it was hot and tasted nice. Wasn't give a Diet Coke which I ordered but was sent a Pepsi that I do not like which wasn't diet! But all in all not bad food! ****

The food was fine, probably one of the better Indian/Bangladeshi takeaways in the Coulsdon and surrounding areas. However, I received just a single poppadom I'm return for my 60p. They should free anyway, so I think this takes the micky

First time using these guys and what an amazing surprise. 15 minutes earlier than expected, perfect temperature and got a madras, rice and sag aloo for a tenner! Saying that, the food was amongst the best I've had from a curry house and I've had a fortnightly dose for nearly ten years. 110% recommended! 😋

Just one complaint. Ordered 4 chutneys with popadoms but only received one. Apart from that, the order was complete and the quality of food was excellent

The food is for sure the worse I've tasted around the area. Soggy rice, bland food. Never again. Thankfully I had 25% off through 'just eat' which is some saving grace. I can cook better indian cusine myself. But they deliver on time :)

Not sure what's happened. Whether new management but out order was messed up and chicken tikka masala full of coconut! Not enjoyable for the first time ever. Real shame!

Have used them several times before, usually pretty good service. Had to phone after 15 mins past delivery time, turned up approx. half hour late without free side dish. Told this is not on offer at weekends, yet their own menu delivered with the food and Just Eat site show no such conditions. Eventually they delivered side dish 2 hours after ordering. Food was very good as always, but not sure if we'll use them again, certainly won't use just eat delivery. They need to sort it out.

Food was nice but ordered the meal deal 1 and it came with no popadom or can of Coke as it states.

We waited over an hour for our food. We had constant phone calls for the driver who keeped getting lost then accused us of having given the wrong postcode which had not. which is distrusting considering that the resturant is 10 minutes away from where we live.

One of the only takeaways that hasn't provided a complimentary item. Hardly any meat in main dish and filled with lots of tomatoes instead to bulk it up. Disappointing

My naan bread was forgotten. This is the second time I have ordered from this restaurant and something has been forgotten from my order! The time previous to this you took over 2 1/2 hours to deliver and did not even give a free poppadom for the wait! I will not be giving this restaurant the benefit of the doubt no more the first time I had a take away was lovely but since then there is not the same quality.

after waiting an hour for the delivery I called them. They told me that the order hadn't printed out of their machine, so hadn't ben cooked. Despite the fact I'd received a confirmation email. They told me they would then hurry to get it out in half an hour. It took over another hour to arrive. So altogether an order placed at 7 arrived at after half nine. Very poor. I suggest if your considering ordering from them you think again.

Food was as good or as bad as any high street take away. Delivery a little slow at just over an hour. Annoyed that my free side for orders over £15 was not delivered. When I called, the guy said I was not entitled because it was a set meal. When I asked why I had not been informed when he took the order and given the chance to cancel, he blamed Just eat for not updating the system. pretty shabby and took the fun out of my mid-week treat,

Forgot to give me one of the things I ordered, I then called and told them, they responded that they'd be five minutes but I recieved nothing for half an hour, I then called again and it took 5 minutes - so we couldn't enjoy our meal for about 40 minutes since it was delivered

Didn't taste like authentic curry didn't have nice spices. Chicken tikka masala not the best. Only thing I enjoyed was bread. Will stick with my local next time

Food arrived really quickly and was hot, however the "free side dish" that I had chosen (I spent over £15) was not in the bag and I had a plain naan bread in there instead?! I paid 80p for ONE POPPADOM. The two samosas were just like what you get from Iceland and the stuffed paratha lacked any flavour. So disappointing. We've barely eaten any of what we ordered.

Pleasantly surprised as it was my first use of Rajah and Just Eat. Easy ordering online. Delivery was well within requested time and meal was excellent and plentiful. I gambled on a curry I had never heard of `shatkora`(citrus/lemon) and I really enjoyed it. Shall have to go thru the other curries I`ve not tried b4. Overall-excellent

Food was excellent. Really tasty and not at all greasy. In fact we ordered food from this takeaway on the Friday night, had food left over and decided to order some extras on the Saturday! When we odered directly the food arrived on time... Through Just Eat the order was around 20 minutes late... But well worth the wait :)

The food was great, both in terms of quality and quantity. They did remedy their early error of delivering my meal 2 hours too early by turning up again on time. I would recommend this place.

I stopped using this restaurant last year because of increasingly slow delivery and missing or wrong items in order.I decided to try again as they are under new management. ...They took over an hour to deliver average, cold food and left the can of drink off the order, I DID get the drink but 30 minutes later. ...
