We come here at least a couple of times each week. Favourites are the bread, sausage rolls, smoked salmon and scrambled egg croissants, and the ham and cheese baguettes, but everything is great. It's a really great place.

We love the Real Patisseries and use them a lot, but occasionally standards drop. Always three raspberries on top of the Raspberry and Blackcurrant crumbles but none yesterday? My husband bought it around noon yesterday and it’s not as if raspberries are exotic/hard to get!

Every time I go, there is nothing. They have all the sandwiches for half an hour during the whole day. I think the manager of the shop is inexperienced.

Emma ! You are a legend. I rang up yesterday evening to organize a surprise thank you goodies package for a colleague. Emma helped me pick the right treats, did an over phone transaction, and as a kind favor personally delivered the goodies to the recipient (who was both surprised and delighted). This was above and beyond my expectations. This personal touch rarely happens now a days and to experience such personal service, made this experience all the more meaningful. Thank you

We have been enjoying RP goods for many years now, but have noticed recently that the crumbles are nowhere near as good. Bought a couple of Raspberry and Blackcurrant ones last week and they were virtually all crumble and nuts and hardly ant fruit. I mentioned this to one of the staff and she said production was now done in a unit in Southwick. NOT an improvement sadly.

I go to Real Patisserie pretty much every week and I love it so much. I always order their vegan croissants and lots of oat lattes, I don't know what coffee they use but it is SO GOOD! My fiance is also obsessed with it. The staff is always so friendly and nice (even when it's packed), which I always admire so much because I know they don't get paid a lot to work there. My only negative thing to say is that I wish they would clean the steam wand more. It's happened a few times that someone in front of me buys a latte with cow's milk, and then I buy an oat milk latte and then they don't wipe the steam wand, which is gross.

Real patisserie never disappoints. Amazing quality food which is tasty and not too expensive, great variety for all dietary requirements with beautiful looking food! RP delivers across all aspects and being a regular visitor here, I can tell you it is consistently brilliant! Best almond croissant there is.

I regularly buy our work from home lunches from RP. The quality is top notch. Coffee is good too. I ordered sandwiches, quiche and cake for a celebratory lunch back in September, the sandwiches and the quiche Lorraine were superbe. My absolute favourite sweet thing is the pear tart.

Despite living much closer to a different bakery we regularly drive to Real Patisserie instead, as the food is always delicious and the staff are polite and professional. We used their delivery service during Lockdown which was seamless, and are pleased to see that all of the staff are wearing masks in store.

Love the coffee and the French fancies but the sandwiches are an absolute rip off. A cheese and ham baguette.. Consists of a long thin slice of cheese and a thin folded over piece of ham. A couple slices of tomato and a thin layer of hitter in one sure. All this for £4.25. What a rip off. Shame as I like the outlet and will get coffee but never to have lunch. Portion control gone mad.

Good bread and croissants. Very nice staff! Rather small to eat in and not very comfortable. I tend to take out the food I buy.

A consistently excellent small chain of bakeries, which delivers French based patisseries (croissants, tartlets, cakes) and a great selection of breads, including sourdough and some awesome sandwiches and baguettes.. They even offer all the ingredients and sourdough starter for you to have a go at baking yourself.Staff are always friendly and good value

So pleased I popped in. Got a take away egg & bacon sandwich. It was delicious. My first visit to this place but will definitely return. Lots of veggie food which my friend would love. Great service & friendly staff. Loved how they wrapped the sandwich in brown paper, made it very easy to eat when on the move.

At rather late notice I asked the wonderful people at this patisserie to make an assortment of sweet and savoury dishes for a picnic at Glyndebourne. Right from the offset, they were charming, helpful and paragons of professionalism. Several of us had allergies to various foods, and this was handled sensitively and with judicious care. Especial thanks should be given to Iona and Frank, but everyone I spoke to was really, really lovely. All the food we ordered looked incredible (I wish I had taken photos) and tasted delicious - we were even complimented by another table at the picnic. In particular, the quiche Lorraine, bouchée a la reine and the chocolate tart were very well received! Once again, thank you so much for making our day so special. We will definitely be using you again.

While staying with family in the area we found this very nice patisserie. We found a great range of quiche & summer fruit tarts all made on the premises daily. They also a range of handcrafted breads and other pastry items. They have a couple of eat-in seats and do takeaway coffee & tea. We can especially recommend the strawberry & raspberry tarts !!

Popped in for open mic night . Lager and drinks well over priced. Pint of Amstel over 7🦑 a 🍺. With a vodka and splash at 14🦑 total. Which was well over the top. Open mic very quite . Staff liked it . As they get a chance to show their skills off 🎸. It's a No from us. Try the Neptune's Monday night jam much better , cheaper and staff are much more friendly.

Went for a large family birthday meal (20+ people) and had a positive experience. Pros The food - The Beef Bourguignon was delicious - tender and slow cooked as described with a rich sauce/stew - definitely the highlight of the meal by far. The Brûlée Camembert with grape chutney for starters was also tasty, but could have been a tad more runny if I'm honest. The Crème Caramel was fine, although in hindsight I might have tried the Crème Brûlée instead. Staff were polite and attentive - not much more I can add in respect of this element. Appreciate that it was challenging to cater for such a large group. Dealt painlessly with the allergies/intolerances of guests - there was a separate menu without the need for a very lengthy discussion and endless disclaimers, dishes for people with dietary requirements were served with little flags in them and staff had evidently been told the names of those who these dishes were to handed to. It was handled well here, however I'm still at a loss as to why other establishments struggle so much with this as it doesn't appear to be a particularly complex undertaking if the right process is implemented - dear reader, if you've concluded that my lengthy spiel here is the result of some very negative past experiences elsewhere in this regard then you'd be correct! Decent atmosphere - didn't feel like we were crammed in like sardines and no excessive music so could actually have conversations with those around me (another thing that other restaurants frequently get wrong). Cons Toilets left a bit to be desired on arrival and there was no handwash, however this was sorted out quickly when it was pointed out. Overall a solid 4 stars - would definitely consider visiting one of the other branches closer to where I live.

Really lovely place to stay. Staff are very welcoming great service. Breakfast was 👌👌👌, loved the local ingredients. The sea view double room had a good working space by the beautiful bay windows, I was lucky enough to be visiting on a sunny winters day which made it even better. The restaurant area also has a great working space by the bay windows. Not to mention great location for the beach Look forward to coming back here. Had everything I needed

Sad to say the cover over the rear garden has gone thanks to our useless council, but a planning request is in using the petition as proof the roof is needed. The menu is still expansive, from peppers du padron to fillet and giant prawns. Excellent quality and quantity.

such a lovely place, with amazing customer service. as a coeliac, i felt safe eating and the kind staff made it so easy to speak to them about my queries, such as recommending the buckwheat option (gluten free and vegan) and on cross contamination by using a separate hot plate. 100% recommended to anyone with a highly sensitive gluten allergy, felt absolutely fine after eating and will definitely be returning, thank you so much!!!
