Currently in this restaurant right now as I type this out, Food quality not the best I was lied about the reina special on the menu saying it’s bit better than lamb chops, never listening to a waiter again, looks clueless serving upstairs when I asked him for bread he only bought 1 portion upstairs with 5 pieces inside whilst there was 8 of us on the table, I hope the owner is as quick to see this the way the food should have came quick rather than it being left there to go cold and then serving it to us, I will not recommend sitting up stairs anyone who does come to this restaurant as there’s only 1 serving with quite some space.

Having been here numerous times and always excellent we decided to book our Christmas works do here for around 20 people. We pre ordered as required. On turning up there was only one person working in the upstairs restaurant. It’s took over half an hour to get the welcome drinks out, and then any drinks after this were the same timeframe again. Food although tasty was sporadic at best, in fact two people’s meals came out after everyone else’s meals had been finished. How can you get something so wrong. From start to finish it was terrible and ruined our works do. We will never eat here again

The waiter was respectful but the table service was AWFUL. I can for my 16th birthday because I was recommended it by a family friend but after my experience I will not be coming back. We ordered our food and drink and was given some bread as appetisers 1 hour later still waiting for our STARTERS they told us that they gave our food to the people next to us not once but TWICE. They tried to reconcile by giving us a third starter but we refused and left. 16th birthday ruined.

We were one of the first people to eat at this restaurant as we are at on their opening night and have been back many many times and absolutely love this restaurant .however I definitely think this restaurant must have changed hands since we last went as the meal was definitely much more expensive. Lamb wasn’t soft and butter as normal but was tough and tasteless.Will be finding a new Turkish ,money is hard to come by ,for cheap tasteless product if you’re charging lots more, and dropping your standards on your quality perhaps it Time to look elsewhere …Such a shame

Can't fault the genuine Turkish food.

Fuimos aquí como un grupo familiar de 8 el cumpleaños de mi esposa el sábado 16 de noviembre. Lamentablemente el servicio fue terrible, lento e incompetente. No tenían una mesa preparada a pesar de nuestra reserva, para la que llegamos justo a tiempo. No nos atendieron durante 25 minutos hasta que pedimos nuestras bebidas. Luego tomó mucho tiempo de nuevo para pedir comida. Nuestra camarera entonces no tenía una comprensión básica del menú de alergias o el proceso para comprobar estos. Nuestro entrante tomó 50 minutos después de llegar allí, y nuestro principal 1 h 40 minutos. Ninguna explicación, disculpa ofrecida u oferta proactiva para remediar. Nuestros hijos pequeños estaban muriendo de hambre y mi suegra estaba molesta. Nadie verificó que todo estuviera bien con la orden. El gerente nos dio una pequeña cantidad después de que se lo sugerí, y después de acusarnos de exagerar el retraso. Se fue cuando pedimos bebidas, no cuando reservamos. La comida, cuando finalmente llegó, era bueno, pero no increíble y definitivamente no vale la pena la horrible experiencia. Tuvimos que ir al bar a pedir nuestra factura para evitar otro largo retraso en el pago. Evite hasta que vea comentarios que digan que el servicio no es un sh*tshow.

If you want ANY sort of service go elsewhere. We have been here on three separate occasions and each time the service is non-existent. The food is good but then it is in all Turkish restaurants, but the staff are over worked and over stretched, they try their hardest but even they admit the management have not sorted it for months. On our last visit it was a running joke with all the tables as to who would get a drink or any food first, which when you are spending hard earned money on a night out shouldn’t be the case. Plenty of other places to go to, we won’t be returning.

Best turkish in Chichester! The food is always consistently good. Seems a little pricey but you get massive portions. Takeaways from Reina are a must too! It always arrives hot and fresh with so much food. If you like a little mixture of food, you could share a kebab and then grab a few sides. 100% worth a visit

The food itself was really good but I felt the service was poor. The chicken wings were delicious so was the sea bass dish with salad and grilled mushrooms. We went there after a long day hike and just wanted to eat our food in peace. We were offered a table upstairs where a massive and loud birthday party was going on which itself is no problem ofcourse but we should have been to told atleast! We could have waited to be seated downstairs! Also mid meal they turned off the lights twice for the birthday party's cake cutting, without even telling us and we were just sitting there in the dark not knowing whats happening!

Such a delicious meal at Reina tonight. Food so delicious and Turkish wine delightful. Ozzy was a wonderful waiter - try and get to be served by him - so attentive and nothing too much trouble. Great evening!

This restaurant food not bad but service was to bad.i didn't finish my food bt the staff came two time and ask me can I take all things it's really annoying for me and my kids and also it wasn't busy time.they take service charge £6.21 bt they didn't ask me also my husband gave £3 tips.1 bottle of coke was £4.20 how strange it was.i never recommend anyone to go there.

Had one of the best mixed grills in a Turkish restaurant. From the chilli and garlic dips to the grilled vegetables and the super fresh and aromatic Turkish tea, everything was out of this world. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was very modern and the dining chairs were extremely comfortable. Strongly recommend and will definitely be visiting again!

A large group booking which shouldn’t have been accepted if unable to manage larger groups. Poor service, very slow to take food orders - 45 mins after everyone seated, long wait for simple starters, one missed altogether. Main meals came out on sporadically, again one meal missed & had to be chased. One meal sent back twice as cold. Cost reluctantly removed from bill. Not worth the service charge of 10% at all. 3 of the group have had symptoms of D&V since…

We had the lunchtime deal which was starter and main for £15.99. They also brought flatbread and pickles in addition. Food and service both excellent. Comfortable Seating. Note. a 10% service charge is added on which is optional however I think a tip should be customer initiated rather than part of the bill.

To be honest, it's the best in this region.I began with the classic mezze platter, which included creamy hummus, smoky baba ghanoush,The lamb was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the dish was both hearty and satisfying.

Reina’s used to be our go to when we had people come stay with us from out of town, a real gem but unfortunately we didn’t receive the standard of service we’ve come to expect and unfortunately won’t be returning. They accidentally served my friend who is six months pregnant a strong alcoholic mojito instead of her mocktail. I would recommend not offering cocktails that closely resemble real cocktails if you can’t handle keeping them separate. She’d already taken a good few sips before they realised and came over to inform her. The worst part was they let her know very casually and didn’t even apologise. They replaced it with the right one eventually but didn’t so much as take it off the bill. Ended up ruining the evening to be honest as she was very anxious about having consumed alcohol while pregnant. Such a shame!

We celebrated a birthday with the family at Reina Kitchen. We arrived around 6pm and the restaurant was empty, but soon a few more folk arrived. We received a warm welcome and was shown to our table. Drinks ordered and they arrived quickly. The décor of the restaurant was nice and the chairs comfortable. We order starters and the Halloumi and Sucuk and the Octopus was tasty. The cold meze platter Houmous, Girit Meze, Cacik, SpinachTarator, Saksuka, Baba Ganoush was disappointing. The mains dishes were varied, the Chicken Kulbasti was very tasty. However, the Sarma Chicken Beyti and the Lamb Shish with yogurt sauce were lacking some flavour. The mixed sea food had some nice flavours and my favourite was the mushrooms served with the dish. The service throughout was very efficient.

Absolutely spot on!! This has always been a firm favourite and were a little worried reading reviews about new ownership and food quality. We took the chance and I have to say it was better than ever! Fast, polite and efficient service and gorgeous lamb & chicken shish!!! Beautifully tender and juicy and the lamb perfectly pink. I just wish I could eat here everyday!!!

Excellent meal at Reina Kitchen. We came on a Wednesday afternoon and they gave us some free starters and salads - apparently they were using them for photos and they would go to waste, lucky day for us! The waitresses and waiters were lovely and very efficient. Excellent deal on cocktails from 9-5pm, I had the lychee martini which was absolutely delicious. But of course the most important element - the food was fantastic. Everything tasted so fresh, so well seasoned, so flavorful - we somehow managed to eat absolutely everything. Will come back here when in Chichester - a must try. Plus, we had a gluten free diner with us and they had lots of options for her. We’ll be back!

Not often you say ‘wow!’ when you taste the starter but this place is so very very good. Choose things you’ve never had before. Be brave and try everything. Excellent service by genuinely lovely people. And the bus stop is right outside so you can people watch too!

My JustEats order was cancelled after 15 minutes without an explanation. Edit: an explanation was given once we arrived at premises but I suggest you address this with Just Eats as there may be other people who are impacted. I increased my rating to 4 stars and food to 5 as it was excellent!

Nice place to eat . Nice menu and good pricing.

We have eaten here many times. The food is very good and staff are friendly. Unfortunately portion sizes are shrinking significantly and prices are increasing. £4.20 for a bottle of Coca Cola, £4.45 for a CUP of mint tea - not a pot, not even a refill of hot water. I'm not surprised the place seemed very quiet.. It's a pity but there is better value to be had in Chichester now.

We went here at the beginning of the week. Whilst the food was good, the service ok, we do have to say the prices have really gone up.

Nice meal at Rein Kitchen. The food was deliciously authentic and the staff were very friendly. Only slight downside were the drinks ; my eldest daughter ordered a Turkish yoghurt and she quotes ‘it tastes like salty milk!’ My younger daughter ordered a fruit juice, it was a mix of all sorts of sweeteners with no actual juice. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relatively warm, if not a bit quiet for a normal lunchtime. Will recommend to friends though.

Very nice restaurant with excellent food. Nice atmosphere , modern restaurant with attentive staff. Menu selection is good and prices are fair. Portion size is ok but not overly generous. Sorry no pics as forgot to take. Enjoy.

Looking for a place to grab a good kebab for a takeaway and these guys obliged as they were closing... Honestly one of the best bang for buck kebabs I've had. Chicken shish was super clean with amazing salad even though it was at the end of shift for them, had an amazing conversation with the staff whilst I waited, and loved the good people, good food and good vibes of the place. I'll definitely be back.

Best Turkish meal i have had in the UK. Need to book as it is really popular.

First thing that impressed us was the really comfy chairs, such a nice change from the usual wooden chairs you get at certain restaurants. The food was excellent and plentiful in both the starters and main course's. The lamb chops are a feast in themselves so the extra sides we ordered barely got touched. The staff were friendly and helped in our choice of food. It was worth the 30min drive to visit here and we will return 👍👍

Booked Reinas for 12 people for my boyfriends birthday. For a large table the service was very good and the food was spot on! Overall the best part of the evening was when it was time to bring out the cake and the staff played happy birthday loudly through the speakers and the lights had a lil party going on. Its a great way to do this for birthdays and was the highlight of our night. Thank-you so much :)

We went as a group of friends we arrived on time as table booked a waiter pointed us to table everything was fine until then we waited nearly 20mis ready to place food as well as the drinks order as no one approach's to our table we waved a waiter to take our order after a long wait order is been placed starter came before the drinks after starter we were ready for mains as we ordered 3 mains 1 salad but unfortunately received only 1 main and salad as we started sharing and eating the mains which we got we thought other 2 mains on its way we waited for 15 more minutes nothing turned up nor even waiter to ask is everything ok ! So again we have to wave someone to tell 2 mains dish still missing after 15-20 minutes we received remaining 2 mains . FOOD WAS REALLY DELICIOUS we enjoyed the food BUT WORST SERVICE EVER RECEIVED.

One of the top eateries in Chichester. We were in Turkey a fortnight ago and realise that this place is 100% authentic.

Excellent food - quality and value. Staff a bit chaotic (three different people tried to take my order) but friendly, and the food, décor, and level of comfort were all excellent! Would probably change the music choice if I ran the place!

This is only our second visit and I must say we were not disappointed. The food and service were excellent I can recommend the livers to start and the octopus main. Might want to book as the were quite busy for a Monday night which is great to see. Will be back for sure

Authentic taste, i liked how the taste was not tapered to the assumed local palate. We expected more sides with the cusines, especially the sea food platter. Would definitely come back soon.

Nice atmosphere, but if you do have any plans after this make sure you give yourself double the amount of time you think you have as the service is painfully slow. The food was good but I feel like I could of gone to a kebab house, saved a lot of money and would of had the same experience. Overall mediocre

We had lunch, the staff were lovely, the food was nice but the venue was incredibly noisy because there were large families having lunch. It may be less noisy at night.

This was intended to be a relaxing evening out for dinner and wine at a popular restaurant we had not visited before. Unfortunately they have not paid any attention to the review on 3rd March about rushing customers despite replying that they would. We were approached constantly by various waiters asking to order drinks and food when we had already done so. The starter of cold mezze was an expensive array of dips with 2 spoons and no bread. Had to ask for some. We were only half way through eating these when our mains arrived and the waitress started moving plates around the small table to fit them on. Hang on, we’re still on our starters. She apologised and placed them back on the pass. Then another waitress brought the mains straight back again and we had to refuse them. A third waiter then asked us why we didn’t want them. It was just ridiculous. Eventually after a reasonable time we were asked whether we were ready for the mains and we had them delivered. I cannot fault lamb shank but my wife’s order of 3 mixed kebabs were dry, tasteless, and served with dry grated carrot and chunks of red cabbage and onion. When the waitress asked and my wife replied honestly how the meal was, she delivered a lecture on how Turkish meat was cooked. Having been to Turkey and also eaten the cuisine many times we have never had dry tasteless kebabs before, and think it’s more a result of leaving them on the pass for half an hour rather than the cooking method. This restaurant is fine if you like fast food. Unfortunately it’s not fast food prices.

I hired the upstairs room to celebrate my wife’s 70th. Birthday. James, the manager, couldn’t do enough to help the planning and execution of the event. The food was delicious and plentiful, all the staff were delightful and the addition of Charlie serenading us (on James’ recommendation) made the party atmosphere complete. I would highly recommend Reina Kitchen.

We always go to the same restaurants because we like what we know. I suggested going somewhere different and we decided on Turkish food. 1st time at a Turkish restaurant, so we weren't sure what to expect or what to order. The waiter was very helpful in explaining some of the dishes. I ended up getting the Reina special, as per picture. Wow! It was so nice. The meats were grilled to perfection with no fat. And the salad and rice were amazing. Finished with Baklava desert. Again, very nice. I think the partner wants to go again next week.

We had a lovely experience. Both the kitchen and bar staff did their best to satisfy us. The courteous bartender did the best cocktail I’ve ever seen. Will definitely visit again

I’ve been having trouble deciding whether to leave this review or not - but I feel I owe it to them. Ok - so for the simple stuff - the food was absolutely delicious. Everything cooked to perfection and proper tasty. But the tricky bit - and I know this might sound strange - but the service was just too quick! It was all just too much - to start with I have never been asked so many times if I am ready to order. I made myself clear from the start (I actually said it 3 times) that I wasn’t in a hurry - but our waitress just didn’t take it on board. She was lovely and very attentive but ultimately delivered service that made me feel hurried and frustrated. If I have already said I’m not in a hurry more than once it is not advisable to then come over before the starters are even finished and tell me you want to bring me my main. I was then told they would have to ‘heat it up again’ when I was ready. Not cool. In the end we did get a fresh dish and it was lovely. I’m saying this to help you learn. Going out to dinner is an experience that for some they don’t get the chance to do often - listen to your customers, give them an experience that makes them feel relaxed - not rushed in and out the door as quick as possible. Do that and your already fantastic restaurant will become even better.

Had a lovely dinner last weekend. We had a big group of 7 people we were sitting upstairs and the nice gentleman who served us was very helpful although the food came a little late.

Lovely atmosphere and decor. Didn't get welcomed very well. Just told to sit down. A simple hello with a smile and where would you like to sit would be good. Most expensive Turkish food I've paid for. And still left feeling hungry due to portions being small. My wife paid over £20 for some king prawns and salad. Sadly left the place hungry. And paid over £70 for 2 adult meals and one child. Which is crazy.

We love this place!! The food is excellent every time - the drinks are delicious and the service is impeccable. The waiting staff go above and beyond - have recommended to so many friends and it never disappoints.

All very disappointing - wait on arrival to be acknowledged, put on a table knocking chairs with the next table, half-way through the starter before drinks arrive, having to flag down staff to get any service, singer too loud when diners hadn't gone there for music, 2for1 cocktail menu put on the table only to be told at bill time that it was not available that night (as valentines day) - unimpressive all round

Ate here with a group of six, on a busy Friday evening. Food was beautiful, well presented, large portions and overall a great meal. The chef came around after to check on our food and to apologise for the delay to our mains (which wasn't a delay at all, around 20mins between starters and mains), but really did appreciate the service the chef showed. Highly recommended!

Second time visiting with a large party, once at Christmas and once on the 10th February and both times the restaurant was packed and seemingly overbooked. I appreciate that there were 3 large tables upstairs alongside a full downstairs however 3.5 hours for a table of 20 was too long. We had 3 tables, a 10, a 6 and a 4 next to each other rather than one long table so the party was split up which wasn't great as it was someone's 40th birthday who wanted to spesk to everyone. We ordered some efes and cocktails and after 45 minutes got told they had run out of efes. Should have said straight away It had run out rather than leaving us to wait and order our own drinks at the bar instead. It took 1.25 hours for the starters to come out baring in mind we had pre-booked all the food. My starter the mucver had run out and they didn't tell me until I was the last at the table. Got hastily given some falafel as an apology which was cooked for our table by mistake but wasn't given the option to change my order or look at the menu to clsee if I wanted something else. Mains came out relatively shortly afterwards after the host had been given the food order which they should have requested at the start. Overall a poor evening and not a restaurant I would recommend to anyone which is a shame as the food was good.

Always a fabulous meal at Reina’s. The food is amazing and the service is impeccable. We were served by a couple of different staff who were attentive and sociable, especially Berat who was happy to chat and answer questions. Very highly recommend.

I'd give this restaurant a 'good' but that's not an option. It's better than average, but not 'very good'. Huge portions of good but not outstanding food. We ordered too much because we ordered a starter without realising that we'd be given free pitta and dips. Cold mezze starter was more a selection of dips than other mezze starters I've had, and some were tastier than others (and we'd just had some with the bread). Main courses were generous with well cooked meat and a good sized salad. Efficient and friendly service.

Came here with my friends to celebrate a birthday and we usually love it here! However, I was so disappointed. We waited so long for people to serve us, the food was over an hour wait. The food was nice but just made it poor due to the length of wait. We were put upstairs too so wondered if we were just forgotten about.

Arrived on time for our booked table. Waited in the entrance for a few minutes and was pointed to a table by a passing waiter. We sat at the table for at least 30 minutes with only a drinks menu being handed to us. We then left and i don't think any of the staff knew we were even there.

Really sad to write a bad review but our experience was NOT good. Our table wasn't ready, service incredibly slow and disorganised, toilets were filthy- the accessible toilet was blocked and over-flowing. Food was okay, mixed mezze starter was a disappointment. Mains were fine but nothing exciting. Only decent thing was the wine. Such a shame as this was a very rare date night out which turned out to be very expensive and a real disappointment.

I try to avoid writing negative reviews, but having felt ignored at this establishment I feel as though some feedback is necessary. On arrival we were gestured to a free table where we could sit (not shown to a table). Then after having waited 30 minutes, during which time there was simply no service other than being handed a drinks menu, we upped and left. I think they were completely oblivious to the fact that we had left too.
