Visited before a gig at the Arena, loved the atmosphere, the drinks selection, the service and the food.

Very quiet (Sunday), good music, quick service Booking in advance saved us £15 on tapas

The best Bottomless brunch we've had. None stop, fun and served with not only a smile but enthusiasm. Definitely recommend, probably join you.

I went for bottomless brunch here, very busy and had live music on good atmosphere, we did have to wait a while for drinks to come out due to servers going on their brakes and not putting our order through however it was made up to us later on by a different server with some shots, the portion of food with the bottomless brunch is very good a lot bigger than other places. However the food is nothing special.

La comida era buena y el servicio estaba bien. Íbamos a pedir cócteles después de nuestra comida, todos los menús anunciaban 2 4 £ 10 durante la hora feliz. Preguntamos cuándo era la hora feliz y nos avisaron que la hora feliz no estaba disponible en diciembre. Consultamos ya que todo el menú anunciaba la oferta y no había mención de que no estuviera disponible en diciembre. Un hombre muy abrupto del personal vino y no nos preguntó cuál era el problema, él solo dijo que el menú dirige a los clientes (por escrito demasiado pequeño para leer) a los términos y condiciones en el sitio web que declaran happy hour no está disponible en diciembre. Sugerimos que se pusiera una pegatina en los menús de los cócteles o un letrero que advirtiera a los clientes ya que es engañoso para los clientes. Realmente no queremos estar comprobando los t&cs en línea antes de pedir bebidas, pero nos dijeron que no es posible cambiar o modificar los menús y comprobar los t&cs en el sitio web! Servicio al cliente decepcionante e información engañosa.

Had an amazing time and would highly recommend. First impressions of the decor and atmosphere were great. Our server, Arianna was lovely and extremely attentive. We had sevral cocktails and a jug of sangria. All were amazing. Underestimated how long it would take to finish the sangria. Food was delicious. Genuinely the best nachos I've ever had.

Ordered 2 drinks for my wife and I then we sat down to study the menu. Went for the £25 for 2 meals and 2 cocktails deal. I ordered enchiladas and my wife ordered belly pork. 10 minutes later the waitress came over to tell us there was no belly pork. My wife then opted for the rump steak. 5 minutes later the waitress asked how she would like it done. Another 7/8 minutes went by then the waitress announced there was no steak left. Apart from us there were only another four people in the restaurant. We paid for the drinks and left. No apology or explanation as to why it took so long to discover there was no belly pork or rump steak. It just seems poor organization and a distinct lack of customer care. No one really seemed bothered nor understood that if something is not available the waitress should be informed of this before taking orders.

Would have liked to give a review, but after we were seated we waited nearly 20 minutes and still no one had come to take our order. We gave up and walked out. Looking around the place it wasn't even half full, I dread to think what it must be like when it is full.

Horrible experience. The service was terrible and the waitresses that we had were miserable. The food eventually arrived after a lengthy wait (30+ minutes) in a nearly empty restaurant at 2:30, and to add the other customers were only having drinks. The majority of the food we ordered was inedible apart from the fries. The waitresses were very moody and unhelpful. Thankfully the manager did give us a partial refund but we will not be back again.

Came in on a very busy Saturday and was reluctant (love bottomless but never had a fabulous experience) as usually when ordering drinks you are waiting 10-15 minutes per order but tonight was amazing drinks never empty without the next round on the table and our server Emily was absolutely amazing, so attentive friendly and welcoming would return on her service alone! She deserves recognition!

The one in Manchester was absolutely amazing, didn't quite get the same vibe here but still OK Nightlife

The food was cold and took an hour for two small tapas plates to be served. The venue itself looks nice. Most of the food was nice, just a shame it was cold.

My first visit last evening, The venue is great, the waitress was very good getting us served. We started (group of 4) with shared nachos as a starter. I chose the slow cooked pulled Beef burrito, and Fuego fries. My main course arrived, and I tucked in. The burrito was nice and soft, but the filling initally, first couple of mothfuls was rice & peppers. With not much early sign of pulled Beef in it. It was tasty enough, But any optimism I had that the pulled Beef was about to appear, disappeared. There was a few strands of what might of been Beef in it, But by this point I had eaten most of it. It was either the last pulled Beef in the pan and I got the short option, More rice less meat, Or i was maybe given a veggie option in error. Who knows. Other than that, good drinks, good service, Would I go back ? Yes definitely, but maybe skip the burrito.......

Great revolution with an overall stunning bright interior. Went on a Friday night but seemed set up for quieter drinks as opposed to a night out. Friendly staff with a tasty range of cocktails.

Great Bar, with a great atmosphere

Lovely atmosphere and food but when you have to question your bill and it takes at least 4 different members of staff and up to an hour to sort out, your evening is kind of ruined! We were initially overcharged over £70 which then turned into £24 overcharged and finally 50p over (no idea why there was an additional 50p charged but it was better than £70 and by this point i didn't question it). The bill was incredibly confusing (which I was told is the fault of head office) and literally should have said 5 x £35, minus £25 deposit. I will post the photo of the first bill. My worry is that it is a very busy place, people get happy and maybe a bit too tipsy to check their bill. How many other people are overcharged without realising it!! Lovely place to go but please CHECK YOUR BILL!

Myself & my partner had a table booked for bottomless brunch at 3pm on 16th November. There was a bit of confusion as my booking couldn't be found. I showed my email confirmation. 5 minutes later we shown to our table. You could see that the staff were under a bit of pressure but they were helpful & cheerful. Ww had great food, great drinks & they'll eat music was fun. You can see why it's a popular choice in Newcastle. It's a fun atmosphere. We're coming back very soon!

Dined here this very evening, mostly on tapas. Lovely atmosphere with a live band (although these were maybe a little loud as we couldn’t heard the conversation) We hit up the 5 plates for £30, the food was quite tasty but the portion sizes aren’t huge so we got a couple of extras Highly recommend the jerk fries and the croquettes! Service was good, although the tapas came around 10 minutes before the burrito for the other person which sucked a little. Food quality and service/atmosphere makes it a 4 star overall. Would definitely go back

This place used to be good but we have had two disappointments recently. There seems to be an issue with the kitchen unable to cope and front of house staff not well trained to deal with issues. On the first occasion we waited over an hour for food and eventually had to leave without getting it. The restaurant apologieed and offered a free meal and we put it down as a one off. Yesterday the restaurant was empty. We booked a table but were told on arrival they had a function on and were not accepting bookings. We had a drink and in that hour none of the tables were occupied. If they were not operating the restaurant they should not have allowed online bookings. The front of house staff could give no explanation and little apology. No managers were in sight. The bar staff didn’t know why bookings were not being honoured and the restaurant staff just said it was because her manager had told her to reject any bookings. Good and drinks are nice when you can get them and restaurant seems to run well at times but after this second disappointment in as many months we won’t be returning.

A fight broke out and security staff were nowhere to be seen.

Me and my friends went there before an event we were headed to that evening. We had some food from the Tapas selection to share. We also had a few cocktails and a soft drink too. The cocktails were lovely, the food so nice and the service was great. Unfortunately we didn't have cash on us to leave more of a tip but i would definitely go back there.

What a brilliant bar, excellent music food was really tasty and very well priced. The madri shed was! So cosy and even though it was a cold night I never noticed. Great cocktails and amazing furnishings made this the highlight of our night.

There was a table of 10 of us. The restaurant wasn't busy but, the food came out in dribs and drabs. Waited over an hour for a sorry looking kids meal. They did refund on this. The vegetarian chilli was lovely as a meal but, the portion size left us still hungry. The cocktails were delicious 😋.

A group of friends booked for bottomless brunch. The food was absolutely appalling - chicken burger was 2 chicken nuggets burnt within an inch of their life. The full English was cold with sausages that were almost white they were so undercooked. The meals went back 3 times!! I think they rely on customers being so tanked up that they don’t care about the quality of the food. One friend had to go to the chemist for ant acid tablets and the other was physically sick - never again!!!

We travelled from Central England for an hen weekend in Newcastle, booked here for a cocktail making session and food We weren't disappointed. The bar person kept us entertained through the whole session he did absolutely amazing We then went into the restaurant area. Nice and clean food was lovely staff again on point, food came quickly, and staff served effectively. Bad points to the toliiets they were a bit grubby and no loo roll. Otherwise, all good, There is no parking outside. i did see wheelchair access, but not for the downstairs were the cocktail making sessions took place. You may need to call ahead to double-check

We went with some friends for a stag do and we always go there, never had an issue. Imagine my surprise when 2 bouncers accuse my wife of being sick in the toilets and lie about it!!! What happened is my wife was going for a wee when a male bouncer knocked on the door asking her to come out and whether she’d been sick. She said no but they heard yes for whatever reason!! They even called a female member on staff to testify she was in the toilet at the time LYING about the whole situation!! There was no reasoning with the them and eventually it was 2 bouncers and 2 managers against us calling us liars!!! All without any evidence!!! Just appalling!! And a male bouncer following my wife in the female toilet!!! Unacceptable!!!

A rainy , drizzly afternoon, what better way to spend it than drinking cocktails , even better happy hour. Whisky sour and Mojitos great tasting drinks. Not many people in , Monday afternoon. Service good, toilets clean. Didn't have anything to eat, certainly return.

My husband and I go in to Newcastle quite infrequently and stay over as we live in the countryside. Its always a special evening for us. We love the Cuban experience having holidayed there and spent time in Havana. We booked table for 7 pm and asked if we hold go on roof terrace but unfortunately there was a private function up there. We chose 5 tapas - Meatballs, Hake, Prawns, Chicken skewers and Haloumi. The Meatballs were disgusting and hard, so much so we couldnt cut through them. They had obviously been reheated over and over. The Hake itself was OK but the tomato/veg sauce it was served in was dry and again reheated over and over. We spoke to the Manager and said we werent paying for those 2 dishes to which she agreed. She was very apologetic but by this time our evening was ruined. The Manager gave us drinks vouchers as an apology. My husband didn't eat anything that evening. Very disappointing. We wont be going back in a hurry.

It's a shame the upstairs terrace isn't open during the day. Nice bar though, good happy hour deals.

Visited during a day out in Newcastle, first time visiting here but now revolucion de Cuba is top of the list for the next time we're here. The food was all excellent, from the starters the belly pork and empanadas stood out as very tasty. For main I had the shredded beef burrito, it was delicious, the flavours work great and the subtle level of heat was more or less perfect.

Lost all sense of atmosphere since my last visit

After a small issue with the kitchen not receiving our food order, Natasha our server was extremely apologetic, and went out of her way to make sure we were happy by offering us some complimentary cocktails. One round would have been more than enough, but she insisted we have three ! When our tapas dishes arrived they were all very tasty, but the star of the show was definitely Natasha with her fantastic customer service skills...an absolute asset to the company.

Door staff were ignorant and rude.. They asked my daughter and her friends for ID then basically told me I was "off my face" and refused me entry. Concidering I am tee total and had just finished work I dread to think of the clientel that are permitted into the venue later. Maybe train your door staff according to the actual licencing laws and remind them that politeness costs nothing. Their attitude towards me was, at the very least, unfounded, aggressive and belligerent.

The bar man told us that they could not make us any cocktails as they were out of juice/sugar etc.. but then when we sat down for dinner, the waitress gave us cocktail menus and after mentioning that the bar man said no to cocktails, she seemed confused and said that was nonsense that we could infact have cocktails... We were seated downstairs which was not really appropriate for a sit down meal (too loud to talk and set up like a nightclub) Also when ordering food, half of it was not available, and when the food arrived some of it was cold. This reservation was for my birthday so it was a bit disappointing to say the least !

We wanted a nice quiet 30th Birthday with great food and service and this place delivered just that.. Canny wait to come back again as food was perfect and so we're the cocktails

Revolucion de Cuba immerses you into the Cuban culture right from the door with live bands, fire dancers, amazing Cuban food, mimosas, and happy hour cocktails. The Meseros and Cantineros are friendly and if you stop by on a special day or a bad day then you’re in luck because the hospitality just skyrockets. Everytime I’m there, I come across tables a few feet away from me, “oohing” and “aahing” at the food. The cocktails are also pretty and amazing!

We' ve been there for few hours, having drinks and fun; like 12-15 friends! All good until 1.30 when we had a full pint on the table, close to me, and somebody from staff just took it without asking! I went to speak with manager about this: so rude and disgusting! He said that the policy is not to leave your drink unattended. We were dancing near the table, what should we do?? Keep the drink in my hand for the sick of supervising it? The way they treat people... it's a shame! I don' t wanna think it was just racist..

We booked bottomless brunch for a table of 5 and we were not disappointed. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted by the lovely Natasha who explained how it all worked. Almost immediately, a glass of fizz and some nachos and dips were put on our table and soon after we placed our 1st drink order. Drinks kept coming and our food arrived about 30 minutes into our 90 minute slot. Food, although quite a small portion, was really tasty and the atmosphere was great, with live music. Natasha was the perfect host and was super friendly and helpful. We will defo be back. Thank you.

Had the Cuban afternoon tea and it was delicious, good range of different flavours and can be changed for veggie options if required! Staff are really friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere and very clean restaurant.

Bottomless brunch, great venue, quite pricey (paid around £45 each with service charge). Food ok, didnt get much choice, waitress was lovely/attentive. Given nice large booth at back of bar, party of 6, great atmosphere. Loads if flights of stairs to terrace and ladies toilets, watch your heels!!

Had a specisl hen night for family

Attended a colleague's leaving party. We used the upper terrace. It's a nice space, the cocktail options were very popular. The heaters were sometimes too good if you were sat beneath one 🥵

We came for my friends hen party. From first making enquiries to the last drink we bought, the service has been incredible. The food was delicious and the ladies who kept checking if we wanted to order drinks were so friendly and helpful. I'd also like to make a special shout out to Roxanne who helped me with the menus, drinks options, and payments leading up to the event. She was incredibly helpful and accommodating.

Had an incredible time here the other day! Meg and Mia were absolutely fantastic, great service and cocktails were delicious! Would reccomend a visit, especially if those two are working!

A very trendy and popular gathering spot for the students and younger generation. Good music, well lit, beautiful layout, and a fair few places to sit. Prices are a little on the heavy side with 4 shots for £15 of some weak mixture being a popular choice. Cocktails are reasonably priced at around £10 per drink. Has some outside seating areas for couple and 2 huts which seat around 6 people each for those small groups looking to enjoy something a little more out-doorsy. Bouncers are the usual deal, miserable and thuggish. This is usually packed with younger people like students and 18-21 year olds, therefore as a 40 something, you might feel a little outta place here. I really felt a bit out of place here. Some of the young lads who work there are arrogant and rude, especially the floor walkers, and maybe one of the managers. He had a security loop in his ear so figured he's management. Bar staff are generally friendly. Would recommend to the younger people but if you're 30+ and feeling your age, you might wanna avoid this place. That last comment is probably more relevant for men than women.

Bottomless brunch on Saturday, service was good however kept forgetting drinks and I sat for 30 mins with no drink. Food was tasty however such small portions more of a starter than a main meal. Would go again but not for food.

It’s alright, not how it used to be unfortunately. I mean the service was good but a little slow. It didn’t feel like you couldn’t move in the bar which was great as some places pack as many as they can in.

The bar manager (unfortunately I forgot his name ) a white male on his yearly 30 abit bold with beard extremely unprofessional and rude. I ordered 8 pink tequilas and the bar staff served me 8 normal tequilas shots by mistake. So I asked them to change because I ordered pink tequilas not a normal tequilas and then they told me that I have to pay for the pink tequila and then get the refund because they put through as normal tequilas. So because of their mistake I will have to pay £60 instead of £30 and wait a few days for my refund ... its ridiculous because all they need to do is giving me the pink tequilas. So they won't do the exchange for no reason even so was their mistake. The situation escalate to the bar manager on the Saturday night 20th January he was the most unprofessional person and he didn't care about the situation and his body language was awful. Clearly a white men full of the privileged no take any responsibility for the mistake that his team done not even an apology. He told me I will have to pay again and wait for the refund otherwise I won't be service . He shouldn't be leading because he didn't care about the situation and guest satisfaction even after we spend alot of money for my friends birthday.

What a fun place! We had absolutely delicious food combined with great drinks and service. The atmosphere was positively fantastic. A great place to go anytime!

We had the afternoon tea. And lovely, different from your usual afternoon tea. You get to try a lot of things from the menu, and it's all nice, but some were really, really nice. And I'd definitely recommend it.

We did the cocktail making class and it was really good, value for money
