Best Indian in the city, exceptional

The food was terrible, wrong items delivered, everything was excessively salty. Certainly will not be ordering again from restaurant.

As we had ordered from Rishi's Indian Aroma before and enjoyed a perfect meal, we had high hopes. Delivery was 45 minutes late. Portion size was very disappointing. Rice was watery. Just out of interest, I put the same order through another restaurant to find that we would have been £20 cheaper and that's only for a meal for 2.

Always top food with polite and professional staff. It’s our go to restaurant for Indian cuisine.

A family favourite for my whole clan - almost every special occasion is now spent at Rishi's! Always delicious food, impeccable service and a very lovely atmosphere. The team are always committed to making sure you have the best experience possible and are genuine sweethearts. All the food I've tried here has been fantastic, we tend to vary between sticking with our classic favourites (mine is the salmon tikka - yum) and trying new things and we're never disappointed. Would definitely recommend!

Not up to the standard like before, 2 days ago ordered some takeaway through Just Eat, The Eggrice egg had spoiled/burnt I think and it impacted the whole flavour of the rice and the manchurian had too much food colour chicken chettinad is not worth it at all. Absolutely a waste of money.

I was in last night and having been around most of the Indian restaurants in Aberdeen I think it is fair to say this place is one of if not the best, excellent food, good service and atmosphere

This a classy establishment with fabulous food. It isn't cheap, but service and food justify it. We loved it so much we did not even take pictures, we just gulped it down, great place and fabulous service. One of the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to.

The food was great but when I ordered 3 weeks ago I got 2 Nans but this time I only got 1. The delivery time was 45 minutes late which was disappointing

Dined in last week and was amazed by the extraordinary Indian food. We ordered for a family of four and came out for a comparatively good price. The staff and ambiance are fantastic.

After being recommended by friends and family we finally made it for a family meal after the footie. Starter and main courses only, all very tasty and served without delays. Staff very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyable experience. Will certainly be back.

Food was superb. Service was on point from the young lady who served us. One wee blip with how long it took to receive two drinks but would definitely visit again for the dosa alone never mind the beautiful curries and dips/chutneys.

This restaurant was so close to getting a 5 star review until the poor service right at the end. Me and my wife came in and we was seated and drink order was taken. Service continued to be good and the food was amazing. It all went down hill after we finished our meal and they took our plates away. We looked at the desert menu and no one came to ask if we was finished or if we wanted dessert. People left from tables next to and around us and the waiters cleaned the tables and we was still waiting to be asked if we wanted desert. New people came in and seated and the newly cleaned tables and then waiters came back to serve them and me and my wife was still waiting for someone to come over to us. We waited 20 minutes from when the waiter took out plates until we decided we was leaving without desert. We told the waiter when we was paying that we wanted desert but no one came to us and he gave us a lousy apology like he wasn’t really bothered. So disappointed because would’ve given 5 starts but that let down the whole experience

We were looking forward to lovely crisp rice dosas on a Saturday night but were disappointed with the quality of food served. The dosa was thick and not crispy or hot and loaded with pepercorns. The potato mash didn't seem to have any flavours except for the color. The drinks served were substandard. Overall the service was pretty good but food disappointing.

Incredibly poor takeaway give our normal. experience A takeaway on a Sunday evening has become a real treat and continue to order with our favourite restaurant Rishi’s. Tonight’s meal- £16.50 for 3 very small (King prawns) in the chilli garlic masala. Not at all what we experience in the restaurant. Please don’t short change your regular customers.

The warmest of greetings as we arrived Komal which was then followed by superb waiter service special shout out to Veera & the food was out of this world we routinely return as all of this makes for a great time out.

I had very delicious and quality food at this restaurant. One of the best Indian restaurant in Aberdeen. Staff is also very friendly and had an overall amazing experience. Kaju panneer, butter naan, dal makhni, Veg biryani, masala dosa are must try. 😋😊

I have visited a few times to this restaurant during my stay in Aberdeen. Food is great and the service is impressive. Employees are always smiling. They always ask you if you need anything. Good place to dine. I would recommend anyone visiting Aberdeen to try their meals.

the special rice had no salt in it but the lamb biryani was good.

Really disappointed with Indo-Chinese dishes we ordered today - Chicken 65 batter was so deep fried that it took away all the taste from the dish. Schezuan fried rice was full of Red Color and again didn’t have a balanced flavour. Chili chicken was also just about average . Overall a huge disappointment from one of my old favourites. Would probably need to stick to South Indian items next time round

Huge tasty portions, been a few times now and it’s seriously good food. We have never finished it yet and have always left unashamedly with doggie bags, it then works out an absolute bargain of a meal or 3! Highly recommend

Enjoying mocktails.There are very less option for people who don't drink alcohol but in Rishi's we enjoyed a lot of option in mocktails . The taste was too good adorable the presentation of mocktails I never seen . Thank you for making our evening enjoyable...will definitely back.

Went for dinner on Sunday . Service and staff is really good but food taste is below average. Chef doesn’t even know the difference between lamb Rogan josh and lamb masala. There was a smell in lamb as well. Kebab were not fresh either. Idli was good.

£25 is a lot of money for one tray of chicken korma, Peshwari naan and pilau rice. Korma was just sweet sauce with 5 or 6 bits of chicken, not a lot for the money. Naan was pretty good pilau rice ok.
