Robin Hood in Salford

Great food and welcoming atmosphere! This was our first time visiting a Robin Hood Restaurant/Pub and will most certainly be returning. It happened to coincide with the burger special and so we had to try it. Didn't disappoint, food and drinks were wholesome and budget friendly. My son loved the playground too.

I love the ambience. The Blue Lagoon cocktail was great 👍

Very nice experience with family and friends. For the manageress, nothing was too much trouble. Katie, our waitress, was very good with our young children. Very reasonable prices, nice food. Highly recommended.

Food is always absolutely lovely in the Robin Hood pub , me and my family went in on Christmas Eve and the food was absolutely lovely, the Turkey and cheesecake was lovely 😊 😊

The new year party was a big disappointment. It was more like a kids training Karaoke 🎤 night the kids can read the words and sing but not very melodic. I would have thought it should have been for adults only. Sorry

Great Sunday roast today for myself and my elderly dad. My son had the mixed grill. We normally go in during the week but decided to try the Sunday food. Absolutely spot on. The staff were very accommodating...especially a lovely young lady called Katie. Couldn't do enough....very chatty and pleasant. Will definitely be back. Sue B 😉

Just had the traditional Sunday beef and with the Sunday offer what they got now on two Sunday dishes for 11.99 you don't want to come here alone! Very taste and generous portions! Promise for some pictures next time.

Hi folks..went yesterday for food and what a disappointment on my meal...I ordered the Sunday dinner with the meat being the turkey as I wanted to get in the festive feeling...and it was shocking I'm sorry to say...the turkey was machine sliced processed rubbish...the roast potatoes and vegetables all frozen..mashed potatoes had been overly cooked in the microwave and the gravy had more lumps then my 7year old granddaughter has made...the only thing that was nice was the stuffing.... To be fair my partner had steak and it was lovely..the Robin hood takes time in making the burger look and taste fabulous has I've had the Indian one before..but sorry your Sunday dinner is the worst I've Ever had.. and this should your bread &butter for the older customers who just want a enjoyable Sunday lunch.....

Had a large Family get together (13 of us), Man U was on the TV so pub was very busy, the service was excellent, the food great value and everyone enjoyed their meals, we did not have to wait long at the bar to order and the food came out in really good time, very well organised with plenty of staff, all happy to help, definitely our new go to place for a family meal.

Honestly what a disappointment, me and my boyfriend went today to enjoy a little one year anniversary meal. We both ordered the xxxmas burger. I specially asked the women at the till to remove any sauce or salad from the burger apart from the gravy. She said that there was no sauce or salad except the one Brussels sprout. In the menu it’s described as two flamed-grilled beef burgers with cheese, beef burnt ends in a lashing of beef gravy on a brioche bun. Nowhere in the description did it mention bbq sauce. The women specifically told us there would be no sauce. On the main menu there is a bbq burger and in that it specifies the beef burnt ends are in a bbq sauce, as the menu for the Christmas burger and the server who took our order said it doesn’t have any bbq sauce I assume this to be fact. We were served and low and behold the burger had bbq sauce covering it. I asked a different server about the sauce in which she went back to the kitchen to ask. I was then questioned if I did in fact ask for it plain (something I do everywhere and always) and went off to the women who took my order. I was then told she had in fact told me it had bbq sauce, even upon me insisting she didn’t and with my boyfriend as a whiteness she didn’t relent. My burger had to get remade and we requested my boyfriends did too due to them making the mistake on the menu, they brought the chef out who refused this and complained how it was a waste of stock. They wanted us to eat separately or him eat his cold due to my burger taking longer due to their mistake. He also complained about my request of the beef burnt ends not being in bbq sauce (as it’s specified on the menu) saying he would have to open a new pack and complaining about it. We ended up just getting a refund and leaving. We’re regular customers for the Thursday buy one get one free and always have a great time. Today has been a shocker. We won’t be returning again after being blatantly lied to and shamed for wanting to have a meal together as a couple on our anniversary. I wouldn’t have bothered to post if it wasn’t for how they treated us once we mentioned it wasn’t how we ordered. The staffs behaviour and attitudes changed instantly and made us incredibly uncomfortable. Never before have I asked for a refund and left a restaurant.

Each time here is really nice . Yes only pub food . But for the money , which is very cheap . The food is really good .

Had a wonderful meal. Amber was very attentive to our needs and really friendly. 10/10. I’ll be coming back!

Came here to eat on a Sunday, food I ordered was very reasonably priced, generous portions, staff very warm and friendly, definitely recommend.

Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was apparently unusually busy, only one serving on the till and she did a brilliant job but we had to wait about 15 mins in the queue and sadly a lot of the regular patrons left because she was on her own and couldn’t serve us all! Not only was she taking food orders but also making drinks! Not sure if it was just a one off but need to make sure there are more than one bar staff for Sunday Lunch. Also only one other staff member serving the food, again she was brilliant and so fast and efficient. Food was lovely, 3 of us had the roasts and one had the chick n mix which was great can’t fault it for the price!

The food and service here was fantastic. The food is also great value for money and they have different offers on each day. We attended on the Buy One Get One Free burgers (Thursdays). There's not many places where you can feed two for under £10 but this place does. The staff were also attentive and professional during peak time aswel.

The food was very nice. Our server was named Amber and she was lovely.

Came in for a meal for my mum's birthday and the service was just amazing. One of the staff members called amber went above and beyond to make sure our service and time here really good.

Was feeling hungry on my journey home so called in to The Robin Hood and decided to have a steak. What can i say it was the juiciest most delicious steak ive had in a while. I saw the manager come out of the kitchen and of course i had to compliment him on his food. He was very nice and polite and made time to talk to me. Will definitely be back soon.

This place is such a lovely cosy stop off pub,every time we have visited neither the staff or the food has ever failed to disappoint.

Food was brilliant. Steak came out just how I like it and quick. They cater well for children with a good menu as well. Ash was brilliant who served us our food. Nothing we asked him seemed an inconvenience. I would recommend for families.

Went for a meal today and was served by a lady called Billie who was absolutely amazing so helpful what a great person she is, it was a busy day with it being a bank holiday ,food was great as always and we didn't have to wait long at all I will definitely recommend.

Having not used this pub for donkeys years we decided to try it for my mum's 93rd birthday lunch on tuesday. She had the chicken mix with chips & onion rings and really enjoyed it. My husband who has coeliac disease has to be gluten free and had his own non gluten containing menu & had the gammon sizzling meal with jackets & peas. I had a chicken burger which was lovely. It was my birthday today, Saturday & hubby took me again. I this time had the chicken mix and thoroughly enjoyed it.. nice crispy wings & tandoori thighs. Hubby this time had the hunters chicken with jacket & enjoyed that too. Today we were served by a lovely lady called Carla who went out of her way to make sure about the gluten free options available. All in all it was a very enjoyable meal, finished off with the chocolate sundae which was to die for. (Well it was my birthday) Would definitely visit again. Only one thing I would maybe like to see is the offer of gluten free chips. Would be nice for hubby to have a choice from a jacket spud occasionally. Jacket spuds can get a bit boring every meal out. Other than that well done Robin Hood and thanks Carla for a good experience. X

Just been 5 of us, wait was atrocious, food was poor, and had to clear our own table as staff couldn't cope. Never Again Ever.

We stopped on a whim while on a road trip on a Thursday night for dinner. Not only was it a trivia night, but 2 for 1 burgers too! We had so much fun playing trivia that our quick dinner stop became a 2.5 hour experience! The food was great and everyone was so friendly. Highly recommend a stop, especially on a Thursday night.

I came in on 01/08/24 for some lunch, I forgot too ask for a name but the man with the beard took my order and even tho we was quite picky he helped in every way possible. He made our experience one not to forget, the food was sensational, fast fresh and exactly what we wanted! Would definitely recommend

Ordered food and paid .. then to be told that they don't have what we wanted. So take our money then decide to say we don't have what we wanted.... Sooooo very wrong ... Not impressed. Trying to eat our food n all over our food was flies so we couldn't ever enjoy it all had to leave it. Not one staff asked if we enjoyed the food or nothing absolutely disgusting

Lovely food, brought out really fast, piping hot, and tasty! The lady who brought it out was lovely too! We booked as it was a Sunday and it was busy so worth checking but there were some walk in tables left.

1st time visit with kid. Great food and great staff. Look forward to trying the rest of the menu. The claw machine is a bonus for 2 years old. The only downside was table no.19 was a bit wonky, but still 5/5 👍

We came on Weds early evening and Toby was such a good server and so helpful the food was great too. We also enquired at a late stage to book a table for Sunday for dinner and to stay and watch the England match for 10 people. The Landlord went above and beyond to accommodate us. Along with Toby phoning him to book us in. We have had the best food served really fast , fresh & with a smile and we are in the best place to watch the football and hopefully history in the making. The table and atmosphere is fabulous. Can’t thank you and your staff enough Cheers Guys & Girls. Let’s Just bring home the trophy it would be the icing on the cake. We defo coming back .

12 of us visited today 14th July for my father-in-law's 90th birthday. The food was good no complaints at a great price. Service was great. Must say one of the waitresses called KATIE was EXCEPTIONAL made my father-in-law's birthday extra special. Especially bring out his birthday cake. BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF. X

We visited the Robin hood in Clifton today. There was a party of 10. The service, food and atmosphere was amazing. The price and choice of meals was mind blowing, spoilt for choice. Sorry I didn't take pictures as I was preoccupied with my friend who is visually impaired. I had flat bread with steak, onions, sauce and baby gem lettuce with a side of fries. Then I had a very nice piece of chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. It was all beautiful and plentiful and hot. What a lovely place to visit. Well worth it. Xx

My family always go here for birthday celebrations. The food is nice esp the steaks and the things on the grill. It had great weekday offers and great vibes. Would defo come here again!

My tacos where short of listed ingredients, presentation and heat... I was very disappointed with the meal and service. No member of staff came over to ask if everything was OK? . Overall a unsatisfactory visit.

It's okay, think food has gone a bit downhill over the years and service is a bit slapdash.

Had a brilliant experience here all down to a manager named Katie who completely went above and beyond! I had ordered the rib and chicken combo and whilst the ribs were wonderful, the chicken was dry and tasteless but Katie could not do enough to fix it! She is a wonderful manager with brilliant customer service and cannot thank her enough!

Our first visit for a family dinner. Excellent customer service from Katie. The food was spot on. Shame about Jack and his appalling attitude. Luckily, Katie and the food saved the day. We will return.
