Best fish & chips I've had in a long time

I've been here a couple of times and it's been brilliant both times. The fish and chips are very flavourful/tasty, and seem to be cooked in beef dripping, which for me is the best for great fish and chips. If there not it's still very impressive as the flavour is there. The service is also faultless. For me it's by a mile the best fish and chips I've had in the area.

Since discovering about 6 months ago I can’t return to any other bingley chippy , it’s just too good. Properly cooked tasty chips and generous flaky fish, yum!

This is a great little fish shop. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The fish and chips are cooked fresh. You might have to wait a few minutes, but it's definitely worth the wait. I always make sure i get them from here if I'm passing through to see family 👍

Hi this is Emily from robs plaice. First of all we use fat not oil. The fat is changed twice a week and is filtered 3 times a week. Not sure how the comment below has got their information on using old oil but that is complete nonsense. Also the increase on prices are not to make profit but to keep up with suppliers. We are still the cheapest in the area. Thank you to our customers for all the great reviews and support, as a small family business we very much appreciate it.

Old oil used . Not nice to see a note to excuse thier selves as the reason to increase prices more Ukraine and leci prices.which i believe are on the decline...was nice once and last 2 to 3 visits become little worse each time..sadly no chippy has any idea in how to make a simple menu and change oils anymore but are masters of extra price increases . Less is more is right for the wrong reasons here...

Most importantly the food is nice and tasty... But, the till service needs to be rectified as after repeatedly saying chips and curry sauce, the chips was eventually added on the 3rd attempt. The scallop was also missing after being confirmed that it was in with my chips. And the cost of the curry sauce was asked for after the initial payment. Perhaps reading the orders off the toll receipt isn't the best practice!

Takeaway Fish and chips always lovely.

I had fish and chips there recently and although the chips were perfect the fish was over cooked and the flesh dry reducing the score as it is the main part of the meal.

Sad to hear what happened! Will be up soon for more yummy fish. Hope they catch them and you recover soon.

Very reasonable prices for Bingley, and the fish was cooked specially for me. The wait was a bit longer but the fish was fresh and succulent. Will come here again.

Great freshly cooked food, very friendly service.

Delicious fish and chips, freshly made. We had to wait a few minutes but I’m more than happy to wait. Chips quantity was good, I shared one with my wife and it was more than enough. Outdoor seating (1 bench) is small but nice if it’s sunny.
